We'll forever be grateful to Shannon at the EIC for bringing our daughter’s wedding dreams to life in this extraordinary urban space. Our guests are still raving about the ambiance and unforgettable night they experienced at this "industrial-chic venue." It was the ultimate setting for two free-spirits to tie the knot in style!

This venue is amazing! It has breathtaking city views, indoor and outdoor spaces, and a lot of space to celebrate comfortably with your family and friends. My daughter and son in law got married here last weekend 5/13/23 and it was the best party ever! The couple is so happy with their choice of EIC. It rained a bit after the ceremony so they didn’t do outdoor photos in the city as planned but it didn’t matter, EIC has a lot of cool areas to get photos taken indoors (and outdoors) and the bride was actually happier they got to take advantage of those spaces in the building. Last but not least Shannon is the greatest! During the entire process Shannon was so helpful, answered every question and made sure every vision came true! She worked from sun up to sun down with a smile on her face. You cannot ask for a better event director!!!! We are so happy we decided to use EIC!! Thanks so much to Shannon and also to Eventioneer rentals, Penn Rustic, Ace Bartenders and Bistro To Go their services were 5 star (and the Bistros food is delicious!)!!!

Our wedding day was absolutely perfect in every way. Shannon and her team at the EIC were so helpful and played a pivotal role in our dream coming to life. All of our guests commented on how beautiful and unique the space was, and we couldn’t agree more! Shannon made the process feel easy and was very responsive to all of our questions throughout the planning process. We would recommend this venue to anyone.

We just had our wedding at EIC and it was a DREAM. This space is gorgeous, with amazing views of the city. You get your moneys worth with the amount of space available, and the additional items included (tables, chairs, etc). Shannon is also AWESOME and was such an amazing help throughout the whole process, from booking all the way to the day of our wedding. I cannot say enough good things. If I had to do it all again, I wouldn't change a thing!!

We could not have asked for a better venue!! The Energy Innovation Center is a hidden gem here in Pittsburgh and we got SO many compliments on how unique and fun it was. We were looking for a venue that was a little more interesting, and this was perfect! To top it off, Shannon was absolutely wonderful to work with. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure every last detail was thought through. We felt lucky to have her and the EIC on our vendor team!

This is a great venue for the DIY bride because the space offers so much potential. We had such a fun time coming up with different ways to make our reception unique for us. Shannon was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was willing to show us the space multiple times, and she was so helpful in making sure we had everything we needed for setup and breakdown. The day of, she was an absolute professional who helped make sure everything went as smoothly as possible. She even lit all of the candles for us, which was no small feat!! Highly recommend this space, especially in conjunction with Bistro to Go and Ace Bartending - they made for the perfect trio!

Would be a beautiful place to have a wedding except for the awful people that work there. They will steal your money and do nothing for you.

Stay away! This place is filled with crooks. They take money and do nothing for you in return. Shannon was rude and no help at all in planning our wedding. Took weeks to respond to emails and never once reached out to me to see if I had any questions. To top it off their CEO is extremely unprofessional and nasty. I think he is old and may need to contemplate retiring.

Shannon at Energy Innovation Center completely saved my sister’s wedding when her contracted venue cancelled with under one week to go. Shannon and her team were so helpful and easy to work with. They did everything within their power to alleviate stress from my sister and her whole bridal party. Shannon was incredibly flexible, putting in a lot of hours to help my sister completely re-plan her decorations, seating chart, and flow of the day. The Energy Innovation Center staff went above and beyond to make the day (and the week leading up to the wedding) perfect. The last-minute venue switch was so seamless that many guests commented that they would have never known we needed to change the location based on how fantastic everything looked and how well the event was managed. Thank you so much, Shannon, for everything you did to turn a crisis situation into one of the best weekends of our lives.

The EIC is like nothing else that Pittsburgh has to offer. I was planning our wedding from Los Angeles, and was looking for a bright, downtown loft feel. When I discovered this space, my jaw-dropped. I actually had already booked a different venue and decided to lose the deposit in favor of this space. It was the best decision we made during the entire wedding planning process. Our guests LOVED the windows, the view and the amazing rooftop! It's a beautiful blank slate that you can truly make your own. Shannon and her team were a joy to work with and went above and beyond to make our day great.
