Martika Mercer was the DJ (alongside her wonderful assistant) during our wedding 9/28/2024. Martika brought positive and party energy, had wonderful communication, and went the extra mile so that our dedications, must plays, and requests were honored. People were dancing the whole time. She was organized and supportive. It was amazing!! Couldn’t recommend her more highly.

DJ Emelita made our wedding unforgettable! From the very first song to the last dance, she kept the energy high and the dance floor packed all night. She perfectly read the crowd, playing a mix of songs that catered to all ages and music tastes. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to seamlessly blend tracks created an incredible atmosphere that had everyone talking even after the night ended. If you're looking for a DJ who will truly elevate your event, DJ Emelita is the one. We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ!

We love DJ EMELITA!! She worked seamlessly with our pianist as she emceed during the pre-party portion of the wedding. Once it came to party time, she did an amazing job reading the room and getting everyone from young adults, older folks, even the children got on the dance floor! She even jumped in at one point and showed us all how to do the Wobble dance! I quite literally danced my shoes off. Thank you DJ Emelita for an unforgettable night!

We used Entertainment Specialists to hire our DJ for our recent wedding, August 2024. We hired DJ Emelita and she was amazing for our wedding. We had 2 calls with her before the event and she was extremely communicative. On the day of the event she did an amazing job emceeing the event and reading the room. We could not stop dancing! Would highly recommend!

Victor was perfect for our wedding! We had a firm idea / set list of what we waned for dinner + dancing and Victor did a great job adding in some additional songs that fit the vibe and kept guest on the dance floor all night. During planning he was helpful, professional, personal, and an overall great guy to work with. 10/10 would hire again

We worked with entertainment specialists for our wedding in January and were so happy with the partnership through the entire process! We had DJ Ron Furr at our wedding and can’t say enough good things about him. He is considerate, fun and professional. I would recommend any couple to work with ET and Ron, specially!

We used entertainment specialists for our DJ and Photo booth and so glad we did! First the photo booth was a huge hit! Our attendant Jordan was super helpful at letting us know the countdown, how long in-between photos we'd have and helping everyone laugh! They gave us a few designs to choose from that we could tweak to our liking to have at the bottom of our photo strip and on 2 days later we had our whole online of every photo taken to share with our guests! Now our DJ Steve Manning was everything we could've asked for. He was so fun with high energy right from the beginning. Throughout our months planning we gave him our lists and even asked to mix a few songs together for special moments and he was like I got you!! Our dance floor was packed all night and he played a perfect mix of music for our guests. Any party going further I will be reaching out to have him DJ for us! Cant say enough good things about the whole experience with this company!

We hired DJ Steve for our wedding and are so glad we did! He was so fun, funny and put in such an effort into making our day special. Music is really important to my husband and I, and he knew we wanted to go with a pop punk/emo vibe without alienating guests, and he found the perfect blend that had everyone on the dance floor the entire night! He also came prepared for several different types of set ups: a battery-operated ceremony space, an indoor/outdoor dinner and reception space, and a live music performance element — and crushed them all! Everyone fell in love with Steve’s positive energy and immaculate vibes, and we’re so glad we went with him for our wedding!

STEVE FORTES was everything!!! Everyone was on the dance floor literally begging for a break because every song was exactly on point. He mentioned that he would "read the crowd" during cocktail hour and update his playlist accordingly... and he delivered!! Marlene Jazz Trio was also fabulous during the cocktail hour! We had the saxophonist stay to play alongside Steve during dinner and early dancing which was a big hit! Thank you Entertainment Specialists!

DJ Vic was amazing!! He truly made our vision come to life and kept the party going! Throughout the whole process he was there to make suggestions if needed and help us form the best playlist possible! Especially during the reception, he kept the flow going and made sure everyone was out on that dance floor having fun!

We had DJ Ron from Entertainment Specialists dj our wedding and he was FANTASTIC! He did such a good job MCing the event and keeping the party going all night - we got so many compliments. Entertainment Specialists was easy to work with and have multiple DJs you can choose from. In my opinion a good DJ is really important for a fun and memorable event and it was definitely worth it! Highly recommend!

Entertainment Specialists were so easy to work with for my wedding! They’re reasonably priced set up, and the breakdown was seamless, and they have so many package options for lighting, audio, and photo booths; you name it! Communication was great; everyone we spoke to was so kind, and we knew we were in good hands. We worked with DJ Selkii, who is an incredibly talented musician and an absolute sweetheart. She was so kind and answered all our questions during our introductory call. She was amazing at our wedding! She did live music during the cocktail hour and then switched to DJ for the rest of the night, and everyone was on the dance floor. Weddings are stressful enough. If you’re looking for ease and a company that has everything you need, I highly recommend Entertainment Specialists.

We booked DJ Steven Fortes (aka DJ Rolo) through Entertainment Specialists for our wedding at the Newport Beach House. Everything about the experience was perfect! Our rep at Entertainment Specialists, Barbara, was very professional and prompt in her communications and the prices they quoted us were reasonable. In particular, we loved working with Steven. He spoke with us a few times prior to the event to get a sense of our music taste and what we were looking for out of the event. After these conversations we felt very confident in him as our DJ, as he was able to answer all of our questions, was clearly very experienced, and had a very professional yet relaxed approach. A week prior to the event, he sent over a worksheet to fill out with all the details such as the ceremony itinerary, the order of introductions in the reception, etc. On the day of our wedding, he set up all of the equipment for the outdoor ceremony and indoor reception completely independently - the process couldn't have been easier for us! He just did everything he needed to do. And then he killed it during the reception! People were dancing the whole time, and several of our friends commented that it was some of the best music they had heard at a wedding. We had shared about 10 “must-play” songs, but he ended up playing at least 5 other songs which we were considering putting on our request list. So he clearly intuited what we wanted to hear! Can't recommend him enough!

DJ Ron Furr was the MVP of our wedding reception at Atlantico in Boston. He took the time to walk us through the process on the phone, took all of our Spotify playlists and curated the night just perfectly. We initially had fears of having a kitschy wedding DJ, but Ron came through so perfectly. Every guest on the dance floor was telling us how much they loved our DJ’s mix. 10/10 - would recommend Ron to anyone looking for an amazing party and a wonderfully kind person to work with.

We loved Ron! He had a great set of songs and followed our requests. We used him and his equipment for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. He had to move/have equipment in 3 different areas and did it seamlessly. It was helpful to speak with him ahead of time and to make the reception schedule. There were some cute idea presented, like a designated first and last dance with all the guests. He had absolutely everyone up and dancing at one point and most stayed dancing all night. We had traditional Jewish components to the reception and he led it well. We found that the volume was pretty good, but we were also thankful we had a venue that had a porch for people who weren’t wanting the music. There were unexpected siren sounds multiple times during the dancing, which startled some people and made others laugh. We are not sure if they were necessary though. We were very happy with him and received a lot of compliments on his work from guests.

We hired Ron from Entertainment Specialists to DJ our wedding, and he was great! He was so nice and got everyone up on the dance floor. He had an extensive planning worksheet that was super helpful - there were some music selections that we wouldn't have realized we needed to pick of without it. We would definitely recommend him and Entertainment Specialists!

We hired Martika from Entertainment Specialists to DJ our wedding, and she was an absolute hit! She was so awesome to work with throughout the planning process, she made it so simple to plan the music we wanted throughout our ceremony and evening, she stuck to our must-play and don't-play lists, did all the photo shoutouts we requested, and even helped me plan a surprise song for my husband (which I sang and my dad played guitar for, so there was a lot of behind the scenes with Martika to pull it off and my husband was totally surprised!). Martika is a ball of energy day-of, she got everyone so pumped up for their entrances and she was the first person I saw as I walked into my ceremony and she flashed me a huge smile and made me feel so at ease! She had everyone on the dance floor the entire night and she created exactly the vibe and environment we were looking for. HIRE HER!

We worked with Entertainment Specialists to DJ our wedding on 10/1/22. We worked with Mike Amado to find the right DJ for our party, and hired Antonio Mayberry. We cannot say enough positive things about DJ Antonio. His communication prior to the wedding was clear and concise, he helped us to develop the timeline of our reception and kept the event running smoothly throughout. We consistently felt that he was anticipating our needs and keeping the party going without us having to ask for a thing. Communication with the office was easy and prompt as well. Truly cannot tell you enough how much we loved having Antonio at our event. It was important to us to have people who felt like part of the family at our wedding, and we can say with absolute confidence, Antonio is the right guy.

Entertainment Specialists is great! We had DJ Martika and a roaming photobooth for our wedding. Martika was awesome — she was so nice and got everyone up and on the dance floor. Our roaming photobooth attendant was great as well — she made sure to get a bunch of our guests together to take photos which made for great pictures/gifs for us to look back on. Highly recommend!

We hired Emelita Delulio through Entertainment Specialists. She was fun, totally got our taste in music and helped keep the event going! She even jumped in on the Electric Slide to help us and our guests along!! Very responsive, friendly and fun to work with!

We were lucky enough to have DJ Steve Flores MC/DJ our wedding and we could not be happier. We didn't really make a list of songs we did/did not wanted to play, we let Steve do his own thing and he was amazing. Everyone was talking about how great the music was, a fantastic mix of classics and new music, and everyone was up dancing the entire night. Could not recommend more!!

We LOVED Entertainment Specialists! After attending a wedding in 2019 that used a DJ from Entertainment Specialists, we knew that we would use them for our wedding. We booked DJ Steve Manning who was incredible! He made sure to use the songs we requested and even put his own twist on them by taking us on a journey through the decades of the music we chose which helped start the party with tried and true songs that everyone knows and loves and also made sure that the older guests who did not stay the whole night got to listen to music that they knew before newer music played later on in the evening. He also did not make the party about him, he wasn't showy and didn't add unnecessary commentary, which was important to us because we wanted the focus to be on the music. There were a few moments (entrance into the reception and cake cutting) that we didn't pick music for and he came to us with perfect suggestions that were perfectly aligned with songs we might have chosen ourselves. We also used Steve to DJ the ceremony and we were very pleased with the music he chose to play while guests arrived because it set the tone for the casual, upbeat vibe we were hoping for. Overall a fabulous choice for anyone who wants the focus of their wedding reception to be a fun dance party!

DJ Victor was amazing!! So easy to work with and was always available to answer our questions. Our guests keep telling me how great the music was and how much fun they had! Thank you again for making it the best night!

DJ Mike Amado was great to work with for our wedding. He was enthusiastic to help us pick music to make our wedding what we wanted it to be. We were also able to coordinate our photographer through Entertainment Specialists, which made the process easier. The playlist he created fit what we wanted, and he kept the dance floor packed throughout the night, which is exactly what we wanted. We would definitely recommend him and Entertainment Specialists!

We hired Victor from Entertainment Specialists. To say he was amazing was an understatement! Because of covid we had a little hiccup in our wedding plans. Victor added more time to the day and made our ceremony and reception so special! Two weeks before our wedding Victor met with my parents and myself. We talked for over an hour! Victor really made sure to say all of our very Italian last names correctly! He also went over a timeline and had a great online system we used. The day of the wedding was so amazing. Victor had everyone dancing all night long! I don't think anyone sat once! You need to hire Victor for your wedding! Thank you Victor for making our wedding so special! Maybe the biggest thing I wanted for my wedding was for the music to be in point and for the dance floor to be packed all night and that is exactly what happened! Victor was spot on with what we wanted and everyone had the best time.

Mike was great to work with and knew exactly what he was doing. He was so helpful to us and so kind if we didn’t do his recommendation. He wasn’t pushy at all! His assistant was SO NICE it made my heart so happy! We made sure they got desserts at the end of the night and even something so small they were so appreciative of! We ended up giving them an extra tip at the end of the night we were so impressed. He definitely kept people dancing and when they weren’t he knew how to get them back up. We wanted a short first dance so nothing was painful to sit through and my dress had just broken, and Mile executed it all perfectly. We weren’t picky about anything which didn’t allow us to give much direction to him but he crushed it! My one recommendation is if you also are not too picky is to call out what you DONT want. We did have one song that we all “boo’ed” (obnoxious I know) but he didn’t change it haha. If there’s a band/genre/popular song you hate definitely call it out so he knows what to avoid!

Antonio was the BEST DJ for our wedding!! We could not have asked for any better. The dance floor at my wedding was full the entire night. Not only did he play amazing music, he was able to mix mine and my husbands ethnic music perfectly (he’s Puerto Rican I’m Arabic) I will hands done use him anytime I ever need a DJ! thank you SO much Antonio!!!

Respectfully, it is difficult to give this vendor a stellar review. Each team member that we worked with leading up to our big day was difficult to get in touch with. Multiple days would go by without hearing a response. When we did receive a response however, it was kind. Information seemed to be copied and pasted a lot; making the experience feel less personal. Working with a big company like this could be risky, but I was hoping it would pay off after reading other reviews. I suppose my experience was a little different. We used ES for our uplighting, which was great, and also our DJ. My husband and I are musicians, so the music at our reception was extremely important to us. When finally hearing from our DJ two weeks before the event, I took hours to map out a very detailed playlist for the reception (which he had asked us to do). Our reception was led with pretty high energy, but pretty early in the evening I began hearing multiple songs that were not on my playlist. I didn't know that our DJ was going to take requests from our guests. I wish I had known this, since I had already asked for guest input on our wedding invitation and included their requests on my playlist. The request songs that the DJ gathered during the reception became the priority and as a result I was very unhappy with the music playing during the night. One of the groomsmen ended up having to speak with the DJ to ask that the music be switched back to my playlist, which it was, but not until 30 minutes before the night would end. I don't wish to completely bash the experience; he was very high energy and kind! Just wish I knew that other music would be added into the playlist that I took hours to create. If I did know this ahead of time, I would have told the DJ that I already took song requests and that he did not need to do so. I would say about 1/3 of the music played was what I was hoping for, and the other 2/3 were requests taken that night which I really didn't enjoy.

We worked with Entertainment Specialists for our DJ, Videography, Lighting, Photobooth, and Zoom services and could not have been happier with them. Mike, Val, Martika, Stan- all a pleasure to work with and made everything SO easy. We were very pleased with the results of everything!!

With Covid, we wanted an option for all of our families to see our ceremony. Entertainment specialists was instrumental in making that happen! From the start, Val, Martika and Ben were extremely responsive in answering all of my questions about live stream set ups. On the day of the wedding, the cameras were low profile, the zoom went off without a hitch, and we received the live footage within 48 hours! Martika was fantastic behind the scenes as the MC of the virtual event and Ben and Val were so professional at the venue and were so great to work with. My family and friends had nothing but wonderful things to say about the viewing experience. In this new day, I could not recommend Entertainment Specialists enough for live streaming services!

Worked with DJ Ron, and our dance floor was full the whole time. We had great conversations with him prior to our wedding and we were able to iron out all the details before the wedding. It made it for an easy wedding day. He has great energy and really understood our taste in music.
