Positives: The price is good/flexible. The contract is easy to read and understandable. Negatives: Food is marked up - you must use their catering, which is OK, and expected at a hotel, but they were NOT flexible in creating our own personalized menu. They use an initial sales person for the first few weeks until you sign a contract, then you are "handed over" to a catering/event planner. It's almost as if you have to do everything all over again with the new person. Very difficult!!! Our planner was not organized and very hard to get in touch with, we didn't even plan the menu until 2 weeks before the wedding. And THEN she was trying to up-sell us on food, when we picked this location because the price was right and we were able to do heavy appetizers at our 2:00 wedding. They wanted us to do a sit down meal, but I did not budge! Thankfully, it all turned out well. The nicest people we worked with were the bar staff! Otherwise, we had a good reception and everything turned out alright. I was just unimpressed with the level of service and the organization on their part. It made me very stressed out about a few things and that's not what ANY bride needs on their wedding day.
