Overall, it was a great wedding with great views and great food. I would say that it was frustrating in some aspects as we started off with one point of contact and then she was no longer with the company. Then we had another and then another. I think that's why some of the details were lost. We had to repeat ourselves and what we wanted quite a bit. We had asked for a more decorative arch and got something different. I had asked that the isles be lined with lanterns and got shells instead. I think what really was upsetting was I had asked for dahlias for the bridesmaids that came with the package months in advance and four days before our wedding, the coordinator let me know those flowers weren't available. I don't understand why they waited until the last minute, but she did order two sets of bouquets for the my bridesmaids and myself to choose from the day of the wedding. I had also asked that all charges be made before we get down there and there were still some last minute charges to my account, which created some frustration. All of our guests loved the food and the bar. The service staff was great. My only complaint there was that the first round of food was cold in the buffet. It was awesome that the coordinator drove us around in the golf cart to get to the jetty, but I don't understand why there was only one driving us around and it kept stalling. The coordinator assisted with driving the bridal party and guest to the jetty in the golf cart but one was not enough and the one they had ran out of battery life. This was frustrating and there were no backup carts to assist guests. I know there's more on the property. It was awesome that they brought leftovers up to our room - the apps that we missed while taking pictures and leftover dinner. It was awesome. They were also very flexible with the room block and added more rooms and extended the group rate, which was amazing.

We got married at Faro Blanco Resort and Yacht Club last week, and it was absolutely amazing. We were married on the Jetty, with the reception on the veranda/pool deck. The staff is so helpful and accommodating. Brittany and Ashley are amazing to work with and helped coordinate everything. Their preferred vendor list is extremely helpful, and all of the vendors I worked with had a great working relationship with the facility and knew the property. The service staff was so accommodating and the food was amazing! We got so many compliments on the food! For our rehearsal dinner we planned to do a hook and cook, but ended up not catching enough fish to feed everyone, Brittany had it worked out before we even knew it was going to be an issue! We had such a great experience and would definitely recommend Faro Blanco! We already can't wait to visit again!

I got married at the Faro Blanco Resort and the entire process was amazing. The planning was easy and they brought up details that I had not thought of. The coordinator had a vendor's list which helped emmensly since we were from out of town. It was very helpfully to have people who they had worked with and could recommend. The staff was more than accommodating and very sweet. We got married during a week that a tropical storm was making the weather unpredictable, and the facility was quick to work with me on a beautiful back up plan. I had a rather difficult guest that tried to take over things and the staff handled them in a more than professional manner, which was great because it kept them from upsetting my fiance as well as myself. We did a raw bar with four passed hor d'oeuvres and outside of the beautiful setting the one thing my guest commented on was how good the food was. They gave us a beautiful dream wedding in our favorite place. I could not have asked for a better group of people to plan and host my wedding.
