Feel the Glam

I knew I was in good hands from the minute I went to my bridal consultation. First off her store front is incredible. You WILL feel glamourous the minute you walk in.. :) As soon as I met Lakesha I felt immediately at ease. She was warm and personable and as excited about making sure you achieved a certain look for your day as you were. Making arrangements and communications were a breeze! Once the wedding day came...and she started doing makeup for my bridal party...I INSTANTLY became excited. She made my ladies LOOK FLAWLESS..!! Every time she was done a face...all I could say was WOW...by the time she got to me...and she finished my makeup...I was floored...it was better than I ever could have expected. She really took her time and made sure that she provided the best looks for all of the girls. I'm so blessed to have found her...all of my guest could not get over our makeup and continuously asked who the artist was thoughout the night. She helped to highlight my special day with her fabulous work and for that I say THANK YOU! If you want to FEEL and LOOK GLAM...she is the ONLY person you should choose!! Thanks Lakesha!!! :) LeAnn

My girlfriend hired Lakisha to do the makeup for the entire bridal party and she was amazing! As African American women, we each come in a variety of shades and hues and she matched each of us perfectly! We all looked so glam that some of us didn't know how to act when it came to the selfies *I myself was composed but some of the girls who had previously had not-so-good experiences with makeup artists went CRAZY!!!! We all were so pleased with how simple, yet elegant we looked that I am sure we will each recommend and hire Lakisha in the future. She is extremely personable, professional and has the sweetest disposition. It was a pleasure to be in her presence and again, her work was amazing! If I could give her more stars, I surely would!!!

I love doing my own makeup but for my wedding I really wanted a professional who knew how to do contour and give me the look I imagined for my perfect day. It was really Important to me that I still looked like myself, the same girl my fiancé fell in love with. While I did want to look natural I also wanted to look glamorous. I have seen so many brides who either overdo it with the makeup and end up looking like a clown, or the opposite; as if they have no makeup on at all. After going through several trials with several different makeup artists who unfortunately were at both ends of the spectrum I was ready to give up. (One artist left me leaving the salon looking like I just woke up. To this day I have no idea what she did for that hour because it certainly wasn't applying any makeup.) When I met Lakisha it was like a dream come true. Not only did she contour my face exactly how I wanted, my eyes, eyebrows, lips, everything was just perfect. Suddenly sitting in a makeup chair for an hour wasn't torture! She was so nice, funny, and was a perfectionist with her work. I trusted her with everything. I would recommend her to anyone. No matter what you are looking for, if you hire Lakisha that is one less thing you will have to stress about on your day because she will make you gorgeous.

I loved the way my makeup looked on my wedding day. It was totally worth it to pay extra for air brushing. She even airbrushed my neck, shoulders, and chest so that I wouldn't have any uneven tan lines. My makeup looked great even after taking pictures outside in the sun all afternoon and after crying during the ceremony. She make me feel very comfortable and her studio space is very cool. She was super accommodating when I had to reschedule my trial appointment at the last minute. I would definitely recommend Lakisha to any other brides.
