Fenway Hotel

We had our wedding at the Fenway on 10/19/2024 and it was the best day of our lives. The Fenway is a stunning venue for a wedding and they do hospitality so so well. Courtney G. was our event manager and coordinator and did the most amazing job making our wedding come to life. She was there for us during the planning process, listened to everything we wanted, and worked tirelessly to make sure the day was perfect. Most of our guests who were coming from out of town stayed at The Fenway and everyone had nothing but the most amazing things to say about the hotel, their rooms, the food, and the staff. The wedding itself was so well run and the entire staff really makes sure you know that they are there for you and want to ensure you have a great time. They often host multiple weddings a weekend and somehow still make everyone feel like the main character. It is quite impressive actually. We will remember our day at the Fenway forever and look forward to celebrating many more stays there in the future.

Fenway hotel is beautiful and in a gorgeous location overlooking the bay. We were so excited after reading so many positive reviews and even tasting the delicious short ribs for our daughter’s wedding reception, but the day of the wedding the short ribs were overcooked, dry and didn’t look anything like what we had on our tasting trial. We had the utmost trust in Fenway especially because it is an Autograph Collection Marriott! Which motto is to leave a lasting imprint! The food was very important to us and that is one reason we chose Fenway because of the positive food reviews. We can't redo this day but it is very disappointing and definitely doesn’t leave us with a very good impression of an Autograph Collection Marriott Hotel!

Megan and the team at the Fenway made my wedding everything we could've ever wanted and more. She is the day-of coordinator that responds to emails so promptly, helps with decision making, organization, and worked so well with last minute changes we had in our guest list/family. She functions like a wedding planner and goes above and beyond. The food is fantastic, the waitstaff were so friendly and helpful during the whole day and afterward. The Fenway is a beeautiful and characteristic venue. Every inch of this 1920's building is beautiful and unique. The cermony space offered allowed for coverage from possible weather, phenomenal lighting, and all the emotional ambiance I needed. The cocktail hour space showcases the sunset and the indoor reception venue turned out so beyond beautiful. The Fenway Hotel was the first and only venue we looked at and signed. Book your wedding here and have all the lasting memories I have, you won't regret it.

Overall incredible experience! We had our reception there and are continuously hearing how great the food and service was. We stayed there the night before and the staff were all friendly and welcoming. A beautiful space right by the water!

The Fenway Hotel was our dream location for our wedding weekend. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our vision came to life. We hosted all of our events (rehearsal dinner, welcome party, ceremony, reception, and after party) on site, with catering done by the hotel. Our event manager, Nicole Morrison, was amazing to work with through the entire wedding planning process. She is responsive, thoughtful, and organized. The food and beverage service was five-star. We would highly recommend The Fenway Hotel and its staff.

We absolutely loved having our wedding at the Fenway Hotel. Communication was fantastic, whether email or phone, and worked well with my wedding planner. The staff was very professional and efficient. The venue itself is a great space and beautiful. The flow on the day of from ceremony to cocktail hour, and then to reception was seamless. The food was amazing, and came out hot for all the guests!! It was a plus to have tables, chairs, linens, and a few other things being included with the package. I highly recommend this venue and location for a wedding or any event.

My husband and I love the Fenway. As locals of Dunedin we spend a lot of time there. In regards to our wedding hosted on 9/23/23 , I was disappointed by a few major aspects. For starters the suite I received had worn down dirty carpet with a lot of noticeable tears. Secondly there is a mold/mildew smell in the ballroom even after construction was done mid July. Luckily our event manager (Nicole) and EVS department placed an ozone machine the night before to absorb the smell. It did work, however we had ballon arches installed as part of our decor the night before and 80% of the ballon’s had deflated. According to the vendor this was because of the ozone machine. We paid for the enhanced planning/coordinator service but unfortunately some important details were still missed. I think our event manager did the best job she could, but I did not see a lot of support staff assisting her to make things flow better. No one in the ceremony audience could hear my husband’s vows as he was not provided or prompted to use a microphone. With HiFi bar and traffic, the noise level was very loud per our guests. I also noticed a lack of attention to detail and polish. The guest tables had debris from the floral set up and seating was not evenly placed. With that being said our guests loved the food and bartenders were great. Nicole was very responsive and always available to meet in person or thru email. I wish I could say it was a 10/10 experience but there were important details to me missed. Like every wedding these details were not noticed by our guests but my husband and I spent thousands of dollars ($27,000 for food, beverage and ceremony alone) to make this day exactly how we wanted. The only thing I would do differently, is hire a wedding planner for the day of instead of paying for the Fenway enhanced planning service. I think the event managers do the best they possibly can but a wedding planner is more in tune to your exact needs and wants.

The Fenway was an amazing venue. From the moment we met with Megan and her team we felt taken care of and that our day was important. The staff handled our wedding day with the utmost professionalism and courtesy. All of our guest had a great time and were “impressed” with the venue. Communication between Megan and ourselves was very easy and always timely. She ensured our stay was handled properly and that our dietary allergies were all handled safely. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue, team, or day. It was beautiful and well planned and coordinated along with zero stress leading up to and during the event.

Earlier this year, we hosted our wedding ceremony and reception at the Fenway, and both my husband and I are still talking about the fantastic experience. Thanks to this venue's amazing teams, we were able to accomplish our goal of being able to be able to celebrate in an elegant and timeless setting that complimented our minimalist style. In addition to providing the lovely venue settings, they also took care of the catering and perfect decorations. We are so grateful for how professional and communicative our amazing coordinator, Megan, and the Fenway Teams were and how much easier it made the whole process. We particularly were impressed with how welcomed and cared for our guests felt. The staff was attentive and took such amazing care of us. We wholeheartedly recommend your services and thank you for making our day so memorable. We look forward to staying here for the next holiday!

My wedding weekend was in mid-April at the Fenway in Dunedin, FL. We had events scheduled at the Fenway, on Thursday and Friday nights leading up to the wedding on Saturday, followed by a farewell breakfast on Sunday. The positives, the Fenway staff. The catering staff and bartenders were wonderful; they were courteous and friendly to us and all of our guests. The front desk staff were cooperative and helpful. The food was fabulous, the wedding dinner superb. Fortunately, we had our own wedding planner who kept a lot moving, to minimize and disruption to our special day. And she did an amazing job for us. The hiccups experienced were usually due to a lack of communication between the staff and management. For instance: The bartenders at the cocktail party not being aware of the signature drinks at the beginning of the event. The front desk not being informed of a change in reservation, resulting in them informing a guest that they had no reservation. The hours of the breakfast were extended, but the kitchen still had the original times and planned to deliver food an hour and a half into the event. (The service staff jumped to assist in getting the food ready and delivered quickly). Our ceremony was on the front lawn, and we planned to take some photos in the driveway archway at the conclusion of the ceremony. The valets were not aware of this and opened the driveway to traffic arriving for another party scheduled to start at the same time as our cocktail party. There were a number of issues with the valets . There was a lack of security preventing guests from another party from entering our wedding reception, on several occasions a ‘pirate’ entered our event. The guests from the other party were not restricted to their own event. Considering the location, the view, the wonderful staff, the fabulous food, a 4 star rating would seem appropriate. However, due to the communication issues, and the issues that resulted, the loss of a star seems warranted, so a 3 star review.

The Fenway Hotel – and specifically Megan Brantley – was the absolute perfect event for our wedding. We had about 115 people and did the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and afterparty all at the Fenway. From the start, Megan was extremely reliable, knowledgeable and helped us think through everything from our meals and the tasting to little decorative touches. She’s a blast to work with, and coordinated with our planners and other vendors for a seamless day. We even had some “good luck” (rainy) weather at the last minute, and Megan jumped into action to move the ceremony under the veranda. All of our guests remarked at how beautiful, fun, and unique the hotel is. It was also really easy to have most of our party stay at the hotel. We loved our experience, 10/10, and specifically want to give Megan the biggest shout-out again for a perfect day.

The Fenway is a very special placed tucked away in Dunedin that has the southern coastal charm and hospitality. The entire Fenway staff made our wedding extraordinary beginning with the wedding coordinator, to the banquet staff, chefs, and front desk! Exceptional, quality service all around for a wedding venue.

The Fenway food was amazing, the service was excellent, and the location was very pretty and convenient!

Getting married at the Fenway was one of the best decisions I made while wedding planning, next to saying yes to my now husband! The hotel, the food, and the staff were amazing. Nicole was INCREDIBLE throughout the whole process and went above and beyond to make our wedding literally the best day ever. I could not recommend the Fenway more.

We just had the most amazing wedding here! It’s a gorgeous venue and the team here is incredible. Everyone was so attentive not just to us as the couple, but to all of our guests as well. Wedding food can really be hit or miss, and this food was a huge hit!! Everyone is still talking about the beef short ribs. The location of this venue speaks for its self and the style is just elegant. Cocktail hour on the Terrance during sunset in perfect weather is a favorite moment I will never ever forget. Megan was our event planner, and I can’t say enough about her! She was extremely communicative, response, patient, smart and kind. She made the process so easy and had a handle on everything with such grace. The Fenway is so lucky to have her on their team! I absolutely would get married all over again here. Thank you all for the best weekend!

My now husband and I are so grateful to Nicole and her team for making sure our day was as perfect as it could be! They made sure we were taken care of, everything was set and in place, that all of our guests staying at the Fenway were comfortable. Our wedding guests had so many good things to say about the Fenway in general from its charm and character to the fact that they appreciated everything being so close to the historic downtown area of Dunedin. The food was incredible and the service was superb! Again we got so many complements on how good the food was! Almost everyone left saying it was the best wedding they ever attended! Again we could not have done it without Nicole and her team!

We got married on 11/18/22 and it was the most amazing perfect day. There is not enough good things I can say about the Fenway. It’s the perfect wedding venue. We had ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception here and it was so awesome and easy. Everyone loved not having to travel between events, and when the reception needed, they could just go back to the hotel room on sight, go to the rooftop bar, or walk to downtown Dunedin and keep the party going. Our guests were blown away by how beautiful the venue and views were. If you are on the fence about having you wedding here, this is your sign to do it!! For the price, this is the best deal. You get an absolutely stunning view and venue, wedding coordinator, and the food was amazing. Seriously my guests went up for seconds the food was so good. Even our DJ and photographers texted us the next day to comment on how great the food was. Nicole and her team were amazing. She handled absolutely everything and because of her and the entire team at the Fenway, the day turned out perfect. The whole entire planning process was so easy and stress free and I’m a little sad it’s all over. I wish I could relive this day over and over!!

Amazing location, right on the water with many options for a ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception on site. Nicole and the Fenway team did an AMAZING job managing the event, guests, and vendors to make the day perfect and run smoothly from beginning to end. Just keep in mind that there is a main road (Alt 19) and it is an active hotel and restaurant that is open to the public. However, I thought that the location, food, and price for the venue was amazing

Such a beautiful location!! It did feel like a wedding factory just because on my wedding weekend I saw 3 others brides get married at the hotel as well. Everything went great and as planned! We didn’t have a speaker but the hotel was happy to provide one. There was a man in valet that was very rude to my MUA but other than that, everything was beautiful.

WOW! The Fenway was positively the best choice we could have made for our wedding reception. Megan and her team were incredible and made the planning experience a joy and stress free. From working with us to accommodate our guests special dietary needs to truly thinking of us and how we wanted our special day to go. Megan was always attentive and quick to respond. What blew me away the most was when I was completely stressed out the week before due to the newly forecasted rain on our beach ceremony. I frantically called Megan to see if she had an idea and sure enough she saved the day and calmed a very worried bride to be. She had a tent put up in front of a beautiful greenery setting just in case. Knowing we had a back up plan gave me so much peace of mind. The weather ending up being sunny for us but I was amazed to see when we arrived for our reception that tent was still ready and waiting. The Fenway did not have to do that for us but they did. Top notch, classy establishment. With all that said, I did not get to the best part. OUR RECEPTION WAS AMAZING. Not only was it beautifully set up, the service was awesome and every single guest said it was one of the best meals they’ve ever had. Truly, months later they still mention how awesome the night was. We continue to look back on that day and feel so grateful we chose The Fenway.

I cannot recommended this venue enough. When I was looking online for wedding venues, I stumbled across this one and of course had to book a tour ASAP. It was my first and ONLY tour. From the second my family and I got there on the tour day to the very last dance on our wedding day, the Fenway team was outstanding. They are organized, compassionate, and accommodating to your needs. Lainey won us over with the amazing tour and Nicole blew our wedding day out of the water. People say to expect things to go wrong on your wedding day, but this team does not let that happen.

I may be biased, but the Fenway Hotel is the best place to get married! Dunedin is such a picturesque and fun town. The Fenway is such a beautiful property; I had so many of my guests stop me to tell me how much they loved the hotel. My wedding coordinator was Megan Brantley and she was the best. She was so knowledgeable and walked us through every step of the whole process. She went above and beyond in many ways and we are so grateful for her help! Every time we would get panicked or confused she would always steer us back in the right direction. I cannot recommend the Fenway as a wedding venue enough, ask for Megan B :)

The Fenway hotel is hands down the best hotel in the area to host a wedding/ reception! We had our reception at the Fenway. The entire staff and team are the best! Nicole the event manger is amazing! She’s so patient and very reliable! From start to finish she made our wedding planning so smooth and easy! She was always available through email or phone at anytime for any questions we had. The staff is simply the best. I couldn’t imagine having our reception anywhere else! I can’t thank the Fenway and the entire staff enough for the great job they did and for helping make our special day everything we imagined and more!!

What a stunning venue for weddings! The Fenway was the perfect locale for our intimate wedding ceremony! From our first contact with Nancy to working with our wedding coordinator Nicole everyone was very accommodating, easy to get ahold of, and very responsive to all our inquiries. In the days leading to and especially the day of our wedding Nicole was always prompt and professional in getting back to us. She was so helpful and such a gem in making our special day come true!

I cannot say enough about how pleased we were with our experience. Megan and the staff went above and beyond to ensure everything was amazing and seamless. We took a chance booking the Fenway from out of state based on recommendations before we even visited. Planning a wedding from out of state while moving twice and working full-time, I expected the experience to be stressful. With Megan and the recommended vendors, it was a piece of cake (pun intended) and could not have gone more smoothly. More important, our family and guests said it was one of the most beautiful and fun weddings they've ever been to and the food was amazing! Looking back there is not one thing that went wrong and nothing I would change. I would highly recommend the Fenway for any size wedding.

Where do we start?! We originally thought that The Fenway Hotel was way out of our price range for our set wedding budget- so much so that we almost skipped our appointment the day we were supposed to visit the grounds. I’m so glad we didn’t because The Fenway was the perfect place for our big day! We had the pleasure of working with the event coordinator, Nicole, & she was absolutely fantastic! She got to know us as a couple throughout the year, which truly showed when our big day was finally here! She never made me feel annoying when I asked a million questions, she understood the importance of minor details, & was constantly present throughout the planning process & wedding weekend. From the views at the ceremony/cocktail hour to the comfort of the room you’re getting ready in and the flexibility in uniquely planning your day to the warm-welcoming staff - I promise, you cannot go wrong in choosing The Fenway Hotel as your wedding venue location!

Our experience with Fenway was incredible and Nicole made our wedding day perfect. We did not have to worry about one thing day of and our guests loved the food and atmosphere.

Working with our wedding coordinator was so easy. She had an "of course" attitude as well as all the staff at the Fenway. The venue is has breathtaking water views, is beautiful and love the history that surrounds it. The flow from front lawn for the ceremony to the outside deck area for the cocktail reception then right into the ballroom for dinner and dancing. The food was hot when it came out and was delicious - many guests commented on how good it was - filet and salmon. Highly recommend.

The Fenway Hotel is MADE for weddings! Scenic venue & complete professionals! We knew we wanted a hotel wedding to accommodate our guests but also for the easy of getting ready & the simplicity of heading to your room after a long night! Trust me, after a long day & night, there’s nothing better! We looked at many hotels in Tampa Bay, but most seemed to have a wedding option but not truly cater to weddings. My then Fiancé said we should check out the Fenway because we had visited earlier in the year. I was *convinced* they would be booked because our wedding was 9 weeks out- YES, 9 weeks, but luckily we had a Friday date so they had availability! The moment we began discussions we noticed a HUGE difference in the level of expertise, professionalism, and attention to detail from The Fenway event managers! Megan understood my vision and worked with me to create the most beautiful experience and the most delicious food options for my guests! The venue itself is gorgeous and the backdrop to our ceremony was picturesque! I also cannot say enough great things about Megan! I am very detailed oriented and ask a lot of questions and Megan was very responsive & always answered all of my questions. I knew I was in great hands and that’s so important for me because I didn’t want to be stressed or needing to “check on things” on my big day! Also important - BUDGET- they break everything down for you so there are no surprises. I’ve heard some bad stories, so it was important for me to select a reputable vendor for my venue! My family also loved the Fenway and we felt like honored guests! For the most important day of my life, so far, I am completely in awe of how perfectly the whole day went and how amazing The Fenway Hotel and Megan are! I wouldn’t change a thing & I highly recommend this venue!

We loved our wedding experience at The Fenway! Everyone agreed that it was a very special event from check-in and beyond. The wedding coordinator (Nicole) was very special and a beacon of light when we couldn’t get there for a venue pre-visit and review. She became my eyes and ears and answered every single question promptly and in the affirmative! Her responses always made me smile! Everyone who works there was extremely accommodating and smiled even if with their eyes only since we were masked. We fully enjoyed the lawn, verandas, historic ballroom, bike rides, the food, and pool seating. What a special place. I hope we can return again and again!

We cannot possibly say enough about our experience of having our wedding reception at the Fenway Hotel. From beginning to end, we had a flawless experience working primarily with Nicole and Lainey. The staff at the Fenway offer world-class service, and truly treat their brides, grooms, and families as their top priority. They are spectacular in their communication with brides. If I had any questions at any point during our 14-month wedding planning process, I would send an email and receive a response almost immediately from Nicole. She was also proactive in communicating any changes or updates as we got closer to the wedding date, and was always accurate in her responses. This was especially important as we were planning and having our wedding during COVID-19. We had a few specific and unique requests which were immediately accepted and encouraged by Nicole. At times, Nicole even brought in other members of the Fenway staff to help with more detailed items, such as our specialty drinks, and our needs in terms of booking additional rooms for our stay. Prior to the wedding, I was already blown away with the service I had received from the Fenway staff, but I continued to be completely impressed throughout our wedding reception with the level of professionalism of the Fenway staff. The level of courtesy, competence, and cleanliness we observed at Fenway Hotel is simply unmatched. As the bride, I am ecstatic to say that I was able to truly enjoy my wedding day without worrying about a thing at Fenway Hotel, and my groom, parents, and parents in-law have agreed completely. One last note – The food was truly restaurant quality and the best food we have ever had at a wedding. We had endless compliments about the food from our guests, especially the steak. The drinks and passed appetizers during cocktail hour were equally as quality-filled and delicious. I will gladly recommend Fenway Hotel to any future brides. If you are looking for a venue with elegance, professionalism, gorgeous scenery for guest enjoyment and photos, prompt communication, attentive staff, and a genuinely fun Florida atmosphere, you have found the perfect venue at the Fenway Hotel.

Fenway was the absolute perfect place to get married. The venue is unique, the ballroom is beautiful, the staff was helpful and the food was amazing. Our guests kept talking about how delicious their steaks were! Cocktail hour outside while the sun was setting was perfect for our out of town guests. We appreciated how flexible and friendly the venue and staff were allowing our guests to have the perfect weekend. Perhaps the best part about having our wedding at Fenway was Nancy. From our first inquiry to our last dance, Nancy was there to help in any way that she could. She truly made planning the reception stress free. Nancy was so quick to respond to any questions and happy to offer suggestions and guidance whenever we needed. A week before the wedding we were so worried that we may have to cancel because of Covid. I called Nancy in a panic and she quickly offered us multiple options and support in whatever we chose to do. Thankfully we were able to have our special day as planned, but it was reassuring to know that Fenway would work with us no matter what. Nancy was a pleasure to work with and made our day so special and memorable. If you want a perfect day, choose to have your wedding at Fenway!

We are so happy we chose The Fenway for our Valentine's Day wedding. We actually booked the venue and date pre-COVID, and Nancy and the rest of the staff were so accomodating when our guest list understandably started to shrink. Nancy was easy to reach and very open and honest with us every step of the way. The wedding itself was better than we even imagined, and we really appreciated thoughtful little details like Nancy bringing us our own private plate of hors d'oeuvres after photos and before the cocktail hour, and herding our guests outside for a grand sparkler entrance. The rest of the staff was also very professional and kind. Finally, the art deco/Spanish style hotel made a perfect backdrop for our big day and looks as incredible in photos as it did in person. Can't recommend Nancy and The Fenway enough!

We could not have been happier with the staff at the FENWAY. Nicole Anloague and Lainey Dunn from the first day to the wedding day you two kept me informed ,counseled us about the stress of planning a wedding, reminded us to have fun and live in the moment, paid attention to every detail to make my daughters dream come true. I am forever grateful to you.

I cannot recommend getting married at the Fenway enough. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous with a beautiful light blue ballroom and incredible architecture. Food and bar services are provided by the venue which made planning for the reception extremely easy. We were given multiple food options to choose from and got to select our favorites for our guests to eat, this proved to be a difficult choice because everything was so good! Nicole served as our Fenway event coordinator and she was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was with us from our initial tour of the venue up until we made our grand exit after the reception and clearly took great care in making sure everything went smooth.

I always dreamed of a waterfront wedding near my hometown so when Fenway was bought and remodeled by Marriott I just knew it was the perfect venue! Nicole and Nancy were amazing and always communicative throughout the entire planning process. They were always open to our changes, questions, and requests like our amazing signature drinks we created! The servers, bartenders and hotel personnel were attentive and helpful. We are so grateful for everyone at Fenway's help in making our wedding dreams come true! If you are looking for a beautiful waterfront venue in quaint Dunedin than look no further.

Our wedding at the Fenway was absolutely perfect. Nicole and Nancy were there every step of the way to make sure all our needs were met. It was the exact venue I always dreamt of, near the water and in one of our favorite Florida towns. I just wish we could re-live it! THANK YOU!

We chose the Fenway Hotel for the venue because it met all my daughter and son-in-laws requirements for the wedding they envisioned. . .A boutique hotel with loads of character located near the water and near a quaint town where their many out of town guests would have plenty to do. The hotel and its staff far exceeded our expectations. Nancy and Nicole made the whole process simple and added so many extras to make the wedding weekend special. For example, they found a picture of my daughter and son-in-law online and projected it in the main lobby as a welcome to their guests. The front desk staff, especially Colton and Neda, worked tirelessly to get our guests checked in early and greeted them with a glass of sparkling wine and their welcome boxes. All our guests commented on how friendly and helpful everyone was at the hotel. The wedding’s 1920s theme was so easy to execute since the hotel was built in 1927 and remodeled to capture the era perfectly, with live jazz in the lobby included. Guests also loved the rooftop bar with its expansive views of the water. The day of the wedding, upon returning to the hotel from the chapel ceremony, guests had their cars valet parked and watched the sun set over the water during the cocktail hour held on the terrace. Everyone commented how delicious the food was, both at the cocktail hour and the reception, and admired the liquor chosen for the open bar. The entire day was executed seamlessly thanks to Nancy and Nicole and the general manager, Sean, who was personally involved in making sure everything was to our satisfaction. Everyone at the hotel did everything possible to make it the weekend perfect. . .and it was!

There are not enough words to express how happy, blessed, and grateful for the staff of the Fenway and our wedding contact Nancy! We were the first to have our wedding at the Fenway, and everything was perfect. The hotel rooms, the views and the ballroom were absolutely beautiful! The food was delicious, and the staff was so helpful. I would strongly recommend The Fenway to any future brides :)

Although we did not end up getting married at the Fenway, we worked extensively with Nancy, the Sales Leader for the property, so this review is mostly about her! She was so pleasant to interact with and always returned our phone calls and emails quickly. We found Nancy knowledgeable, proactive, and helpful each time we talked to her and enjoyed working with her while we planned. Her passion and enthusiasm for the Fenway and the town of Dunedin is undeniable and totally infectious! We look forward to the grand opening of the Fenway - you will be in good hands if you work with Nancy!
