I purchased the 14k 4MM Flat Milgrain Edge Diamond Wedding Band in January 2024. Over the course of the first three months of wearing it the silver was completely scratched up, all the detailing was ruined, three diamonds cracked, and two fell out. I contacted Ferko’s another month or two later (life is busy, ya know?!) and they said I could send it back to them so they could inspect it. I honestly thought they would look at it and refund me, but they just replaced the missing diamonds and gave me the joy of paying $8 to have them send it back it me.
The ring was over $600 and looks like garbage. Such a major disappointment for such a big financial investment. This was my first experience buying with Ferko’s and I absolutely will never purchase anything from them again for fear of a similar experience.
These people are the WORST customer service I have ever encountered. Their jewelry looks good on photos but it’s garbage. Please DONT support this business ran by a nasty rude woman.
If I could give 0 stars I would. Don't be fooled by the beautifully photographed pieces & great prices you see on their site/Etsy. This company is an absolute disorganized, mismanaged disaster. My husband ordered me a gold bracelet with emeralds going around it. About two weeks after he ordered it, we received the bracelet with blue sapphires after an extended wait & a supposed "quality check." As if that wasn't disappointing enough, the staff at Ferkos sent over a return label and made it my issue to print out the label and bring it to USPS to return before they would ship out my replacement. It gets worse - once I shipped out the replacement and sent them the receipt/ tracking number - radio silence on their end. It took my husband reaching out (after I emailed twice in a span of 3 days) for them to respond.
Their response - that the incorrect bracelet just arrived at their local USPS warehouse and they would be shipping out my replacement bracelet today. Any company who valued and cared about their customers would have shipped out the replacement bracelet as soon as they received notification that the incorrect bracelet was in USPS' possession. Seriously, stay away. I have been eyeing Ferkos' jewelry for quite some time now and finally gave them a try after a friend recommended them. I even recommended them to another friend before this whole situation went down. Take it from me (and the other reviewers), so you don't have to learn the hard way.
Please do your research with this brand. I have bought hundreds of dollars worth of jewelry from this company. Recently a diamond bracelet I bought broke in less than 9 MONTHS, less than a whole year. What you need to understand about this company is that once you realize your items are subpar quality (a diamond falls out, clasp broken, etc.,) they will provide no customer service or warranty on any of their products. Thankfully, my item that broke was only $188 (they sell jewelry way more expensive), but the company refused to refund or even provide a replacement. They initially wanted to give me 15% off and then upped it to 35% after I filed a complaint with the BBB.
Read the reviews, trust the complaints. There is a reason why this company only has 2.6/5 stars. Once your subpar jewelry breaks (could be a month...6 months...8 months...a year...whenever), do not expect any sort of help with customer service. I expect this awful customer service and low-quality jewelry from a company selling products for $20-50. For a company selling ENGAGEMENT RINGS (and other jewelry) for thousands of dollars, this is a company that needs to be reported. Absolutely do not buy from this jewelry company.
Although I did have to wait a little while longer to receive my ring it was well worth it!! My ring is gorgeous!! I also had several conversations to them and they were right on it!!!!
Like many of the reviewers below I purchased a ring and one of my stones fell out but after about 1.5 yrs. I contacted ferkos and they were so kind and helpful, they repaired my ring and it came back beautiful and new. I paid for my shipping which is fine, I don't see the big deal it only cost me $15 to get my ring back new and repaired I think that's a great deal. I truly love your pieces and I appreciate your kind customer service. Will be purchasing from you guys soon :).
I purchased a $300 emerald gold ring from Ferkos Fine Jewelry. Within 6 moths the emerald fell out. I was lucky enough to find the emerald. I reached out to Ferkos to see if they could repair it. I was told they were going to charge me for the emerald, which I clarified I had. Then I was responsible for the shipping back to them. I told them they should be paying that as this was obviously a defect or poor workmanship. They refused. I shipped it back to have it repaired at my cost only to have them repair it and tell me I need to pay the cost to insure it if I want it shipped back insured. I again said how poor customer service this is for a jeweler to charge me anything when the item should not have a stone falling out. I have lots of jewelry and have never had a stone fall out after months let alone such a horrible response to it.
Purchased my ring in Sept. and received in Oct. of 2021. 13 months later and 3 stones have fallen out during this time. The first one was blamed on me, second one fell out within 2 weeks of getting it back, and this time she did not try to pin it on me. I have reached out today for this third stone fallout and will update with Ferkos' exact message to me. The prong is clearly still in place and hasn't been bent, which I have sent her pictures of. I am beyond disappointed as I treat this very delicate, dainty piece with care (especially since the first stone fell out). Absolutely not worth the money.
I wish I had seen these negative reviews before purchasing for my wedding ring. Within a week of wearing my Ferkos wedding ring, one of the diamonds fell out. I'm hesitant to even go through Ferkos for repairs because of how poor quality it must have been to fall out immediately.
Trash jewelry! Gave me a horrific rash. She will then extort $$ from you. Don’t purchase here!
We purchased a wedding band from ferkos. The day after the wedding (the first day I had worn it) one of the diamonds feel out. A few days later a second diamond fell out. When i reached out to ferkos the said they would replace these and check other diamonds. I received my ring back close to a month later the diamonds that were replaced were smaller than the other so the ring looks very strange. I’m really disappointed with ferkos and have given up on trying to have them resolve this. Hoping a local jeweler can help fix the ring without costing me a fortune.
I recently had a custom made Baguette Diamond Wedding Band made by Ferko's. The experience from A to Z was beyond my expectation. Ferko was patient with my never-ending questions and answered each one in a timely manner. The process was explained to me in detail and I was provided a 3D rendering for approval prior to production. The final piece was much better than I had imagined. The quality of the product and diamonds speak for themselves. Much better and nicer than the products I checked out at local retail shops. I was kept updated with every step of production from Diamond Setting, Polishing, and shipping.
The Packaging it came in makes you feel like you shop on Rodeo Drive :)
TL;DR: DO NOT BUY from this company! They have the worst customer service and craftsmanship we have ever experienced!
The full story:
I don't typically write reviews, but I feel I need to warn people away from buying from Ferkos. My fiance purchased a ring for me from this company. After about 2 months of wearing it through normal day use, one of the diamonds fell out of its prong. We messaged Ferkos and were offered to have the diamond replaced for free if we covered the shipping charges.
2 months of normal day use after getting the ring back the prong broke and the diamond fell out again! We messaged Ferkos and were charged a fee remake the entire ring this time. Ferkos refused to take responsibility for any possibility of faulty design and instead were very quick to blame us for banging the ring against something each time. We were told by the owner that she would personally inspect the ring for quality control before it was sent back to us. When we received the new ring, we noticed that one of the diamonds was set lower than the others. We brought this issue up to Ferkos and they refused to acknowledge anything was wrong. We had to take the ring to a local jeweler to be inspected who confirmed that the diamond was indeed set lower as the prong was actually bent.
We are very disappointed in the quality control of this company and that they would ship out a ring in that condition to a customer. While we did receive a refund for the replacement fee and the CAD file, we still lost the money for the hefty original payment. Furthermore, they still have never admitted to any poor craftsmanship or abysmal quality control. We now have to spend even more money to get the ring recast and properly constructed by a professional jeweler.
Nice jewelry, reasonably priced and fast service.
My fiancé bought me a ring from Ferkos for my birthday and I absolutely love it! Timely delivery and great quality. I would absolutely purchase jewelry from them again in the future.
Absolutely awful jewelry and awful customer service! Their "gold" tarnishes and shows orange spots after a few days of wear. They should be sued!
This is a joke of a jeweler. I asked if she could eliminate the chain on a pendant, so I could put it on my charm bracelet instead She claimed that was a lot of work & customization, so either this jeweler is lazy, a liar, untalented, or all three, because my 2 year old could take off a chain and add a springring with her eyes closed in under 60 seconds. I also found this exact same elephant pendant brand new on eBay Buy it Now from a jeweler in New Jersey for $199 with free shipping with the same color and quality diamonds, so not only is she a liar about making all her own jewelry since this is clearly a commercial goods piece (since other Jewelers carry it for less), but she is also overcharging. Therefore, that makes her an untalented, lying, thief joke of a jeweler, who also isn't very intelligent since she didn't know what elephant tusks were when I asked her a question about them...which also proves she didn't make the item since tusks are on the item! LOL! What's most sad is that she thinks adding a springring is a lot of customization. Speaks to her work. Take your business elsewhere. This jeweler does not deserve it on many levels.
