Flint Golf Club

I had my wedding reception at the Flint Golf Club. The event turned out absolutely beautiful, however, planning was quite stressful. During our yearlong engagement, the FGC changed banquet managers THREE times, the final time being two weeks before our wedding day. It was incredibly stressful to not have a consistent person to contact. However, the final banquet manager we worked with did a fabulous job and the event turned out beautifully. The golf course and room was absolutely beautiful, and the food and drinks were delicious!

The location is beautiful. We had a winter wedding and reception at the golf club, the staff was very accommodating through the entire planning process. The food is great and they truly cater to the bride!!

If you want an upscale, but not stuffy, venue for your reception in the Flint area, Flint Golf is the place to go! Flint Golf did an exceptional job providing great food, service, and experience for our reception. The one drawback is that you need a sponsor member to use the space, but most are willing to help out. The space was perfect because it allowed for a dining room separate from the dance floor, and the porch as an escape. The view of the golf course is beautiful. Melanie and Santi were fantastic in facilitating tastings and giving us advice on the best way to do our event. What really put them above is what happened two days before our wedding, power was lost to most of the city, including Flint Golf. They used generators and refrigerator trucks to keep everything on track, constantly reassuring us that nothing would be out of the ordinary for our reception. The power returned the morning of, and, as promised, everything was perfect! Our dinners were cooked perfectly and the air conditioner going strong. One highlight of our experience was taking our whole bridal party on golf carts out on the course to take pictures. We had so much fun and got great pictures. I would recommend Flint Golf to any Flint area bride!
