Tanya, the owner of Gilded Social, was absolutely incredible throughout my entire wedding journey. I actually chose the very first dress I tried on with Tanya because she understood my vision so well (something she calls First Dress Magic!). We ended up customizing the gown, and she completely nailed every detail. I also purchased my veil through her, which complemented the look perfectly. After purchasing the dress, it was time for alterations which could not have been easier! Mary Ellen did an incredible job ensuring my bridal gown to fit *perfectly.* I also decided to turn my mom's wedding dress into my second look for my reception, and Mary Ellen brought that vision to life just as beautifully. The bubble hem is literally everything. Tanya also styled both my husband and dad in custom tuxedos through J.Hilburn in Dublin, where she works as a stylist. She made the process EASY and FUN—even for my husband, who normally wouldn’t be into something like that. We even added a personal touch by lining the inside of his jacket with the American flag, which he absolutely loved! Tanya was also so helpful in styling both of them for our Welcome Party with custom J.Hilburn denim and button down shirts. On the wedding day, Tanya was there for her signature Wedding Day Dressing & Styling service. She arrived early, steamed my gown, all the bridesmaids’ dresses, my mom’s dress, and even the flower girl’s outfits.Tanya is known for displaying your gown on a mannequin for your own First Look, which makes for the most stunning photos. It’s such a unique touch and showcases the dress so much more beautifully than a hanger ever could. Tanya took amazing behind-the-scenes content throughout the day and sent it to me that same night—over 300+ photos and videos that let me relive every moment! Tanya stayed for all my bridal portraits and couples photos, adjusting my train, checking my hair, and making sure every shot looked perfect. Even our photographer commented on how helpful she was during photos. She stayed through the reception and bustled my dress before our first dance, allowing my mom and sisters to relax and enjoy the night, stress-free. She also came fully prepared with a massive emergency kit—whatever you think you might need, she already has it. Think stain removers, band-aids, hair ties, nail polish, etc. That alone saved me so much time (one less Target run!) and money! SO helpful! And even after the wedding, Tanya took care of picking up my gown for preservation. She truly is there from your first appointment to well beyond your wedding day. Tanya isn’t just a bridal shop owner. She’s someone who cares DEEPLY for her brides. When you are with Tanya, you are in the best hands. I not only found an incredible wedding vendor, but also an amazing friend. You will NOT regret going to Gilded Social for your wedding gown (+ everything else!).
