Sam was extremely professional, friendly, and helpful, always answering my (many) questions. It was important to us to have all vegan cake that tasted as good as it looked, and that’s exactly what we received. Our guests loved the cupcakes! Sam painted our small cutting cake to match my floral blush dress and it matched so perfectly! I still can’t get over it. The pricing was just right, plus we paid for delivery which helped remove a lot of stress. I’d hire Sam again in a heartbeat!

Sam was the easiest vendor i worked with throughout the whole wedding process! She was reasonably priced, the cake options and flavors were amazing! We also opted to do a dessert bar and we loved the variety of options and everything was delicious! the dessert bar was spotless by the end of dinner it didnt even make it to the end of the night bc everything was such a hit!

10/10, amazing, perfect, I don't even have the words! Sam baked 15 dozen cupcakes and a 6in round cake for my husband and I's wedding back in September and she and her baking are top tier! She made a sample batch for us of all of her flavors (and there are a lot of flavors!) and we loved all of them! She was so helpful in helping us pick which flavors for the cupcakes and icing, what cupcake wrappers we wanted to use, cake designs, even setting them all out for us the day of! I cannot recommend and thank her enough! So excited to have her bake for us in the future!

We hired Sam to make our wedding cake for our wedding on 9/20/24. She helped make our vision come to life. We sent her a picture of what we wanted and the final creation looked even better than we imagined! We got so many compliments on our cake, both the look and the taste. She was very responsive to all our inquiries too. Would highly recommend!

Sam was absolutely incredible to work with & was only made better after she created the BEST tasting wedding cake I’ve ever had. It was so unique & EVERYONE loved it. Flavors: Guinness chocolate cake with a Baileys buttercream

Sam made our wedding cake dreams come true! She helped us choose flavors, size and replicated a beautiful artistic design from our inspo pics. She was super friendly and easy to communicate with! She also made all of the delicious desserts (mini cheesecakes, brownies and cookies) for our guests. Sam answered all of my questions as a bride, and was understanding when we made a change to our order. I definitely recommend for custom and creative cakes!

I had an amazing experience working with Sam for my wedding cake! While searching for a vegan baker in St. Louis, I discovered Gingerly Baked by Sam, and I couldn't be happier with my choice. Sam offered a large selection of cakes and frostings, allowing us to sample several flavors until we found our perfect combination. Throughout the process, Sam was incredibly responsive and patient, even as I changed my mind a few times. The final cake was not only delicious—no one could tell it was vegan—but it was also beautifully crafted. I highly recommend Gingerly Baked by Sam for your wedding cake and dessert needs!

Sam was absolutely amazing! I always wanted a variety of desserts for our wedding and she didn’t disappoint! The cake, cookies, brownies and cheesecakes were delicious and my guests raved about all of them. Her communication was through and she always answered my million questions. pleasantly! I would highly recommend Sam! We have our anniversary cake in the freezer and I’m already counting down the days until we can pop it open! Thank you for making our day special!

Sam was truly so amazing to work with!! From the very beginning of the process everything went amazing. The cake tasting was so delicious with a very cute presentation ☺️ Sam was so easy to communicate with, and I know our venue agrees. The flavor of the cake was incredible and all of our guests loved it. She truly brought my floral cake dreams to life! Highly reccomend!

My fakes were so delicious we had carrot cake and strawberry cakes with cream cheese icing! The price was unbelievably affordable. So glad we usedGingerly baked.

Great professionalism, and great tasting cake! Wish there was a bit more coordination from her about how the cake should be prepped, such as having it cut beforehand, etc. Outside of this, she was amazing.

Sam was totally and completely awesome!!! She made an amazing, dairy-free wedding cake with a Star wars twist!! Where other vendors wanted to charge an insane price for simply making it dairy free, Sam worked with me to find a price that fit my on a budget elopement! The Knot doesn't let me input the 10 stars that she deserves. I plan to work with Sam again for my wedding reception and I totally recommend her to anyone or any of my friends.

Planning our wedding cakes with Sam was fun and just a great experience. She really listened to our feelings about buttercream frosting! We ended up with three cakes and each was absolutely delish. We had several compliments from the guests too. The rosettes trailing down the cake were just perfect. The matching frosting style on all three cakes made it very cohesive. Sam was a delight. I highly recommend her and her amazing flavors!

Sam made a delicious vegan raspberry lemon cake (and cupcakes!) for my April wedding. They were simply and beautifully decorated for spring and the cake was absolutely delicious. We served the cake to a crowd of mostly non-vegan guests and everyone loved it.

Sam was seriously wonderful to work with. I was super anxious about my wedding cake because I knew exactly what I wanted in my head, and wasn’t sure it could match what I envisioned. Sam sketched it out, listened, and updated me along the way. She also delivered and set it up! She was professional. And—the cake was delicious! She also made me an extra tier, just in case. :)
