Green Cart Catering

Cannot recommend Green Cart Catering enough! John was exceptionally helpful and helped me every step of the way. I had a hard time finding a wedding venue, and he offered me tons of suggestions and reached out to multiple places for me. He’s very easy to reach, and great to speak with. I had SO many questions and changes and he was always quick to respond and help. He made me feel comfortable for every aspect of my wedding! Plus, their food is delicious. They were able to create a custom menu for my wedding and everyone loved it. My husband and I were the only two vegans, but people said the food was great and couldn’t believe it was all vegan! Can’t thank John and his team enough for helping to make my day so special!

John, Marisa, and the entire Green Cart Team was absolutely amazing and we would recommend them a thousand times over! From our first phone call right up to the wedding, John was so responsive and helpful. 99% of our guests were not vegan or vegetarian, but everyone enjoyed the food and could not stop raving about it! We had so many compliments, from the harvest table and cocktail hour, to the family style dinner, and our kabobs over the campfire to finish off the night. From the very first bite, you could tell that there is so much love put into the food - with every little detail. We even had a guest running around with two hands full of chips saying that they were the best chips he's ever had! These guys are seriously worth EVERY. SINGLE. PENNY.

We loved having Green Cart Catering as our wedding caterers. I am a vegetarian (though my husband is not); we wanted a vegetarian menu for our wedding because we wanted to make our wedding as sustainable as possible and choose a menu that accommodated everyone. We did a tasting prior to hiring Green Cart Catering which was a lovely opportunity to treat our Maid of Honor and her fiance to dinner. Making decisions about the final menu was hard because everything sounded so good, but Marisa was available to discuss options and customize menu items for us and provide info about allergens so we could label everything for guests with gluten or nut allergies. Even though only a small fraction of our guests were vegan or vegetarian, EVERYONE loved the food. We had a harvest station during cocktail hour and we had dinner served family style. The farfalle pasta with wild mushroom cream sauce was a crowd favorite, but even the plant butter received compliments. We had a DIY wedding and Green Cart Catering provided the needed structure for our event. I don't think we could have done it without them. John was on top of everything, even making sure that I had had time to eat and reminding me when it was time to cut the cake. The servers were also wonderful! I'm so happy that Green Cart Catering is located close to our family home and hope that they stay for many years to come. I will definitely hire them again for future events. We had a backyard wedding, and we did all of the planning/decorations by ourselves so we had a lot of concerns/logistics to be discussed. John was very communicative and met with us a lot to help ease our concern and answer any/all questions. He was very knowledgeable and his experience/advice helped us throw a beautiful wedding. Our wedding was originally scheduled for September 2020, due to COVID we postponed until October 2021. As you might imagine, there was a lot of stress involved. However, Green Cart Catering was very flexible, understanding and made the whole ordeal so much easier. When the wedding day finally came, Green Cart did a great job coordinating all the staff and bartenders to set up on the wedding day. Being vegan, it was important to us that the food would blow everyone away (we have a lot of critical meat eaters in our family). Everyone was floored and we’ve heard from people that it was the best food they have ever had. Additionally, guests raved about the Harvest Table (cocktail hour) presentation. We couldn’t have been happier with our decision to work with Green Cart and with how perfect everything was.

We absolutely loved the food and the service at our wedding. We were feeding over 100 non-vegans and everyone loved the food! The favorite dish was the stuffed Italian peppers - someone even asked for the recipe!
