We got married on 9.9.23 and we were absolutely THRILLED with Guy’s! This location was so convenient for us, the price point was just right, they could accommodate our large wedding size, and that dance floor was HUGE! Which was a huge draw for me. I must admit, the aesthetic that I had always imagined for my wedding wasn’t a ballroom like Guy’s is (I had always pictured super high ceilings, lots of natural light, maybe some exposed brick lol), but with our limited options due to guest count, it was the best choice for us. And to say the room was transformed with our decor and our loved ones within is an understatement! I absolutely became the venue of my dreams on our wedding day! Guy’s really is a beautiful blank slate that accommodates a lot of different color palettes and looks. The Staff is also amazing! We were so happy with Christine’s responsiveness and her help throughout the whole process. Wedding planning can be emotional, and I am a crier, and at our final venue walkthrough, when I started to cry because I didn’t know how I wanted to set up the head tables (talk about decision fatigue), she was so empathetic to the stress. She suggested we get up and take a look around the room instead of just sitting in the office and talking. Getting on our feet and in the space really helped, and it made the last few decisions so much easier!! The food on our wedding day was also incredible, and we got so many compliments on it! Guy’s really is a well-oiled machine, and I know some people have strong opinions about a buffet at a wedding, but I loved the buffet! It was quick and efficient, and it got people up and mingling the whole evening! We just had compliment after compliment on everything the whole night! Even the outside, which is pretty innocuous (and maybe a little mehh), made for a really cool moment when we took the backdrop that I painted and had a little photo shoot moment in the parking lot! It was cute and we had lots of fun with it! Overall, I give Guys a 10/10 and I would do my wedding over in a heartbeat because it was an absolute BLAST!

Guy’s Party Center is what I like to call a one stop shop. I had my ceremony, cocktail hour, alcohol, food, and lighting all taken care of by Guy’s. The food was absolutely delicious, many people raved about it. They are very communicative and executed my vision perfectly! Amazing!

They were very nice professional people! Rocky was awesome! They even offered my husband and I to bring our plate to us so we didn't have to get up for the buffet!! They were truly amazing! I will definitely book with them again for other events we have in future. I miss everyone already! If I could go back and do it all again, I would! Def gonna have my 25th anniversary vow renewal here! As well as other events we are planning. Thank you to them!! And very affordable. I would not have went anywhere else. We were in central ballroom. Was still a good size. ❤️🎉

Guys Party Center allowed us to have the most amazing, stress-free reception experience. We absolutely loved working with them; they were responsive and thorough, and our reception was beautiful. Our guests are still raving about the food. Set up and take down was a breeze. They set up all our decorations, which were gorgeous and done well. I just honestly cannot say enough good things about Christine and her team. If I got married 100 times, I'd work with Guys 100 times.

Stress free, perfection! Guy's made the entire process from consultation to extending the reception painless. We had zero stress thanks to the attention to detail and service we received from them. I can't say enough about Guy's. We booked with them the day we walked into the space. We both had that "WOW" moment when we walked in, the venue was absolutely gorgeous. Our families loved it too, and just the look was enough to sell us in the beginning, but the staff is what sold us through the whole experience. Every outside vendor commented that they "love the guys at Guy's", which put a smile on my face every time I heard it. We of course had a ton of questions, which Guy's answered all of. Always such helpful staff with whatever we needed. They made the process so easy and streamlined, which was important with us being 45 minutes away. We were able to set up the day before (our wedding was on a Friday) and they were incredible. They helped us set up, went and got extra sign stands from their own storage, and cleaned the foyer counters before we set everything up. I brought a picture of my late uncle as well as a boutonniere to put on one table in place of a place setting. The manager assured me that he would take care of it, and he did. I was very comfortable leaving it with him, and he did not disappoint. The wedding was INCREDIBLE. All staff, from the ones clearing plates, to the ones coordinating, were amazing. Some staff even jumped into our photo booth, which I LOVED!!! It was awesome to see that they had fun. One staff member commented that she loved our personalized bridal party introductions, which meant a lot to me. SPECIAL SHOUT OUT to the BARTENDER!!!! Amazing man, had conversations with multiple guests who commented about how charismatic he was. The day as a whole could not have been any better. THANK YOU GUY'S PARTY CENTER!!!!!! 11/10 stars, THEY WILL NOT DISSAPOINT!!!

This past weekend we had our wedding reception at Guy's Party Center in the North Ballroom --- and it was the most PERFECT day!!! We cannot recommend them enough to have your reception. First - The team was AMAZING to work with. They were super responsive, so helpful and they do exactly what you ask with no hesitation. The team working the wedding evening was so friendly and caring and the bartenders were so funny and we loved every single one of them! Second -- the food!!! Holy Cow! We have received compliments from pretty much every single guest that this was the BEST wedding food they had - and they are so right. We were so impressed with the quality and variety offered. Overall - if you are even slightly thinking about using Guy's for your event -- DO IT! It was the best decision we made and we are so incredibly happy with how our night turned out. There was not a single issue or a single thing we would change - it was so perfect! We highly recommend using Guy's for your wedding or event -- they are simply the BEST!

I cannot express in enough words how amazing and beautiful Guys Party Center was for our August 28th wedding reception. Beautiful ballrooms, outstanding staff and overall a wonderful venue. My parents had their wedding reception here 15 years ago and had a wonderful experience & my husband and I just had our August 28th reception in the South ballroom and loved everything about our experience. The venue is updated, photographs beautifully and has the most incredible staff. The entire wedding planning process was perfect with Guys Party Center, we received responses from Christine and Dave within minutes to hours of reaching out every time, and Rocky and the rest of the staff were incredible the day of the wedding and made the wedding planning process & day of event so simple and stress-free! Guys Party Center's wedding packages are genuinely all-inclusive with no hidden fees, and they have such affordable pricing for events that you cannot find anywhere else! The food was AMAZING with such a great variety - all of our guests raved over the food and went up for 2nds and 3rds and we still had leftovers for a week after the wedding! The bartenders were also amazing and all of our guests were beyond happy with the service provided. Christine and Dave genuinely thought of every last detail and special touches and helped my husband and I make sure our day would be perfect - and it was truly perfect! All of our vendors had also previously worked with Guys Party Center & had nothing but amazing things to say about how easy they are to work with! Thank you to the staff at Guys for helping our dream wedding come true and exceeding all of our expectations! :)

My sisters all got married here and that was the plan for us too but due to unforeseen circumstances we had to go a different route. The management team was amazing to work with, kept us updated on restrictions, etc and made the rescheduling/cancelling process during a pandemic as easy as one could hope. If you choose this venue you won't regret it!

I would give more stars if they were available. My daughter had her wedding there in September and we couldn't be happier. Christine was patient, kind and helpful through all the pandemic mess and worked with us to make this the most beautiful and easy event ever. The staff was wonderful, the hall beautiful and clean, the food was delicious. What more could you ask from any venue? Highly recommended!!!

This is the most gorgeous venue I've seen and fair pricing. The staff was welcoming and helpful throughout the process. It's the best deal if you plan on having at least 200 guests. It is right off the highway. The food was delicious and I had an amazing day thanks to Guys. Great premium bar selection as well.

I was amazed by the professional. attentiveness, and quality of Guy's Party Center! just had my wedding there last night and absolutely had to make sure I left a positive review. We received countless compliments about the taste of the food, the selection at the bar, the friendliness of the staff, and the beautiful decor. Guy's made the evening completely stress-free and followed my instructions for set up to a T. As a finishing touch, they even sent my husband and I home with a bottle of sparkling wine, and a container of food for a late night meal. I am so happy I had my reception here. you cant find this quality for this price anywhere else!

our reception was absolutely beautiful and the staff was awesome! From meeting with them and giving them the details of what we wanted, to dropping off our items to be set up how we wanted, and walking in to see not only everything to perfection but their own little touch was added and made it that much more beautiful. they even gave us an extra side dish at our buffet that everyone LOVED. and at the end of the night they assisted with the tear down and loading of all our items we brought in and also gave us a to go bag of food and a bottle of champagne to take with us to our hotel. I cannot say enough great things about this venue. they did an AWESOME job!

We had our wedding reception 8/25/2017 in the south ballroom and everything was absolutely perfect! Between the decor Guy's supplied and what we brought in, everything was set up beautifully- they truly did an amazing job! The food was also WONDERFUL! Every staff member was so helpful and during the reception everyone was positive and upbeat the entire night. I highly recommend Guy's Party Center!

Guys Party Center was the perfect place for our wedding Reception. We loved the dance floor and bar. The service there was exceptional! We got compliments from all of our guests on their delicious food! They set up and tear down for you which takes a huge weight off of the bride/groom and their families and bridal party.

Guy's was fantastic! I worked closely with Christine and she was very communicative and helpful. I did bring in my own centerpieces and decor and make very detailed notes on how to set everything up and provided pictures of mock setups I had done earlier. When I arrived at our reception, everything was just how I imagined! We had around 140ish people in the North Ballroom and it worked perfectly. The staff was very attentive and nothing went wrong. We had a buffet and the food was great! Guy's did set up and tear down and that went smoothly. Dropping off and picking up decor went perfectly - perhaps less than 10 minutes each time. I would highly recommend!

We had our wedding reception in the South Ballroom on November 12, 2016. And it was wonderful! The thing that stood out to me first was how beautiful the room is. We loved the blue uplighting, the lights above the dance floor, the stained glass behind the head table area, and the layout of the room. We hardly had to do any of our own decorating because the room was beautiful all on its own. That way, we were able to focus on just the personal touches that made our day our own. The staff was nothing but helpful during our planning process. We worked mainly with Christine and with Lori. Both were super nice and responsive. I emailed questions often and I always received quick replies. All of our guests said the service was great and the food too. Compared to other venues we looked at, Guys is also reasonably priced. The icing on the cake! Thank you for a great experience! Our reception was awesome thanks to you "Guys"!! :)

Cannot say enough good things about Guy's ! We had our reception in the south ballroom and it is just stunning ! They are extremely easy to work with. They literally do everything for you. You don't have to worry about anything ! Their prices are more than reasonable. You get excellent service. Their staff continuously checked on me to make sure I had everything I needed thought the reception. They decorate your head table to match your color scheme at no additional charge and everything ! I was beyond impressed at the service we received. Highly recommend to everyone !

My daughter and son-in-law's wedding reception was held on 7/1/16 and I would like to commend Laurie and Christine for all their help with the reception planning! Also, the staff did an excellent job of setting up the venue and staying on top of everything to keep our guests comfortable! The food was delicious and the price was very good because you get so much with the package! The bartenders were upbeat and friendly, which was nice! After the reception, members of the staff were very helpful in assisting us with the gifts and extras which needed to be transported into my car. I appreciated them letting me pick up the leftover food, cupcakes and cookies the next morning! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! We highly recommend Guy's Party Center!

The groom and I choose Guys, the first and last venue we even looked at, while deciding on venues. We were blown away when we first met with them, and even more after our wedding on 04-09-16. Guests commented several times on the amount of staff that was working, they were always there and always walking around making sure guests and the wedding party was doing okay. We planned all this from 1400 miles away, and they were great and understanding with the every week calls when the date got close. I feel like they went out of their way for a lot of things, which was greatly appreciated. I would highly recommend Guys to anyone. The price is perfect for what you get, friendly staff and so much more.

Both my husband and I have been to weddings at this location prior to being engaged, so we knew right away it would be on our list to visit when we got engaged. I can't say enough positive things about Christine - the event coordinator. She was approachable, professional, detail oriented, calm and reassuring, and had a lot to do with the overall success of our wedding. Guys took care of everything for us - I took all of our decorations (it was a NYE wedding so there were a TON) the days before the wedding. Christine set up the entire reception EXACTLY how I asked her to. It was beautiful. Not having to trek down there on my wedding day made the day so much more enjoyable and intimate for me and my family. The staff was unbelievable. We never had to ask for water or a plate to be picked up - they were right there when we needed them. They were courteous and professional to our guests and truly helped everything go smoothly. We also had our ceremony there - something brides should consider! Was awesome not having to worry about guests driving between two locations. I truly believe Guys Party Center offers the best packages price-wise and quality wise. We continue to get compliments on how beautiful the ballroom was and how delicious the food was (wishing I ate more that night!) I highly recommend this facility. Thank you, Guys, for making my wedding perfect. You will always have a special place in our hearts!

Guys Party Center was absolutely fabulous for our June 2015 wedding. They were on top of it took care of EVERYTHING making it extremely stress free! The venue is beautiful and the food was wonderful (whenever I told people our reception was at Guys, their first response was how good the food is!) The open layout is perfect for any wedding and was the cheapest I could find for food, bar, and included tips/taxes. I would recommend for everyone to have their wedding at Guys! It is truly the best.

This venue doesn't look like much on the outside, but inside? It is BEAUTIFUL!! We were in the smaller ballroom. The decor is understated but adds to the ambiance, as does the lighting. The serving staff is professional, attentive and friendly. I had made unique centerpieces for the guest tables and the owner had no problem with us substituting them for the center's traditional ones. The food was AMAZING!! There is enough parking and it's right off a major interstate. I HIGHLY recommend this venue for a wedding reception in the Akron/Canton area!

Guy's party Center was fantastic! I got married a couple weeks before in Las Vegas so we just had our reception at home. Since we were planning 2 days, we were more budget conscience. We decided to have our reception on a Friday night which saved us a ton of money. We used the North ballroom, so beautiful! We did bring in our own centerpieces. They will provide you with some but they are very outdated. The food was amazing! I think every one one of my guests told me how great it was. Bartenders were extremely friendly. The staff was awesome, so thoughtful. They packed up cookies for us before they were all gone so we had some to take home. They even put together a little to go box of sandwiches incase we went to a hotel after the reception. There was no hidden costs like a cake cutting fee and they are very accommodating of anything you want. Overall great service and great value!

We used the South Ballroom at Guy's. The decor is absolutely beautiful. We definitely got our moneys worth here. The bar was great, they didn't skimp on the alcohol in the drinks. We did have a few issues though. We had 3 different flavors of cake, but when it was served each table was only presented with one flavor for the whole table. Many of our guests did not know they had a different choice of flavors to choose from. I provided glass containers for a candy table packaged in boxes with paper to protect them, when they were boxed up for us to take home, they were thrown into smaller boxes without anything to protect them, luckily nothing got broken. The biggest issue was that they broke my cake topper. They glued it back together so that you couldn't tell it was broken, but they didn't even tell us that they broke it. I know they were responsible because my florist informed me that one of the employees asked her if she could cover it up with a flower or if she had any glue. The service was great though. And it was really nice that they set up everything and they took care of the clean up. At the end of the night everything was boxed up and ready for us to load into the car, including the extra food. Overall, we were happy with our choice of Guy's Party Center.

Guys Party Center was absolutely the best choice in Reception halls. It was beautiful, exactly what we wanted with stained glass, beautiful lights. It was so romantic! The food was absolutely delicious. The staff worked hard and just flowed so effortlessly around that you almost didn't even know they were there. They did all the setup for us...exactly how we asked and answered questions quickly at any time. They were just a joy to work with and made our day so special.

We had the best experience! They were wonderful with the planning process and were willing to set everything up for us so we didn't have to worry about a thing! The food was absolutely delicious and all of our guests raved about it! The bartenders were friendly and professional. The atmosphere was romantic and everyone enjoyed themselves. Guys was the best value around and I know our guests were blown away. You will not be disappointed going with Guys Party Center! I wish we had a good excuse to throw a fabulous party there again. We appreciate them so much.

Guy's did a fantastic job for our reception. Everything that we asked them to set up (escort cards, memorial table, decorations) was perfectly placed. They met with us before the event to go over what things we needed to bring and even gave us a checklist so we wouldn't forget anything. The food and service was amazing! I know many of our guests went up for seconds and thirds at the buffet. When we ended up having far fewer than the minimum required, they threw in chair covers and chair ribbons for free to make up the difference which was very nice. Overall, we had a great experience with Guy's. Afterwards my husband and I were both impressed with the smoothness of the night and that everything played out just perfectly. We would recommend them to anyone having a wedding or other special occasion!

We had our reception at Guy's this August. The food was great and the facility was clean and spacious. Decor was in good shape and was just what we were looking for! They took the time to honor our requests and set things up the way we wanted, including our centerpieces. The food was excellent and we received many compliments about the entire reception. My only complaints were that in order to sample the food, we had to pick up the lukewarm food in to-go containers. The food was not great when we sampled it (we almost second guessed the venue because of it), but excellent at our reception. Also, at our reception we felt that they took part of the buffet away too soon. There were two food carts and they removed one immediately after the last plate was filled, even though there was plenty left and people could have wanted seconds.

the food was AMAZING. i've been there several times and each dish was great. the price was REALLY great and although the area is not the nicest in the world, the inside of the hall was really pretty. the servers were very friendly and it was only $32 per person which included an open bar!! I was a younger bride, and this venue was perfect for my husband and I. We are both in grad school and didn't want to have an wedding we couldn't afford. it was PERFECT.

We got married June 15th. We had our reception at Guy's Party Center in the South Ballroom. The room looked beautiful. The staff was fantastic. We did have a small issue with the food we specially ordered for our guests with food allergies. The food was delivered to the wrong room. As soon as I told the bridal party server she took care of it. Those guest had their food shortly there after. I would recommend this venue to anyone.

When choosing a reception venue, my Husband and I received great feedback about Guy’s Party Center- Akron, OH. On our wedding day Guy’s lived up to our expectations-above and beyond. They took care of all of the decorations to match our colors, set up and take down was all taken care of, all of our detailed items were perfectly placed, and the service and food was amazing! The Buffet, Open Bar, Tax and Gratuity were all included in the price per person…and it was very reasonable with excellent quality. I would highly recommend having your reception at Guy’s Party Center.

We had our wedding here in May and everything was perfect. Maybe it's because it was a few months ago, but I don't recall any complains. Prices were reasonable and on the lower end for venues in the area, but the quality was better than all but the high end (aka outrageously expensive) locations. The South ballroom where we had our reception was gorgeous and required little decoration, unlike a lot of locations. The coordinators were very responsive to our needs. They answered all emails and questions quickly and were very flexible with our requests, from set up to food substitutions and display. We were able to negotiate a price less than their initial offer for a non-alcoholic wedding package, which was helpful to our budget. The food was delicious with great portions, and there was no cake cutting fee, thankfully. Overall, our experience was absolutely wonderful and I'm so glad we went with Guy's.

Guys did a fabulous job with my reception. They were very organized and helpful throughout the entire process, but I really enjoyed that they let us bring things in the entire week of my wedding. We were able to drop off all the favors, cake knife, champagne glasses, place cards, champagne, etc a full week before the wedding....that really lifted a lot off of my plate! Speaking of plates....I have heard so many great things about the food from my guests. Being the first one through the buffet, I wasn't sure if my food was so incredible because it was on top, or if all of the food was that good! The last table to be served raved about the food as well. My sister had been at a wedding there the week before and said that ours had some of the same selections, but that ours tasted WAY better. Maybe we lucked out...but regardless it was amazing. Also they give you all the leftovers, which is nice when you have a ton of out-of-town relatives....party at my parents house the next day and all the food was provided! They were extremely accomodating and I wouldn't change it for the world. Loved it!

Was a great venue, beautiful and everything i wanted. Big spacious place with GREAT food, did get top-shelf liquor and was not impressed so wished I would have gotten middle. Other than that LOVED IT!!!

Guy's was really easy to work with in terms of rentals, set up and food, going so far as to let us stop by during non-business hours to do a tasting. Their prices were the most reasonable I found in the area, and the room was so pretty it didn't even need much in the way of decoration. As a bonus, a few of my other vendors had been there before for other weddings and they said they always had a good experience.

We used Guy's Party Centre for our reception on July 9, 2010. They did an excellent job! The food was amazing and the room looked better than I could have dreamed! My sister and I got married within a month of each other and we both booked with Guy's. Both of our weddings were on a Friday, and they have special pricing for Friday weddings that cannot be beat for the quality! Since my sister and I both booked with them, though, they added chair covers to our room for free! That saved us about $300 on top of the money we saved with their special pricing. Everyone was raving about the food. We had their Chicken Cordon Bleu, Stuffed Scrod, Rigatoni and Meatballs, Italian Vegetables, and Redskin Potatoes. The Chicken was AMAZING! People are still telling me how great the food was. The service was excellent, also. I didn't hear one complaint about the service. The bartenders kept up with the crowd very well and no one had to wait longer than a minute for a drink. The tables were cleared quickly after dinner. The only complaints I have are these: The head table was not served dinner (it was buffet style), we had to walk through the line to get our food. I've never really seen that before- usually the head table is served regardless of how the rest of the people are served. Also, we were led to believe that the Friday pricing was for a 5 hour bar, but the bar could be closed down during dinner to allow the reception to continue for an extra hour. When it came time to sign the final paperwork and do the finishing touches, we found out that they do not close down the bar and the reception was only 5 hours long. I would recommend Guy's Party Centre to my friends and family.
