we barely needed additional decor – it’s a decor in itself! The hotel staff was exceptional, providing impeccable service that left a lasting impression on all our family and friends. The upscale hotel ballroom was absolutely gorgeous, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure our day was perfect. They surprised us by upgrading our room to the presidential suite, and the personalized thank you card and custom throw blanket with our last name and wedding date stitched in was a heartwarming touch. We were genuinely shocked by their generosity and attention to detail. A special shoutout to our on-site wedding coordinator, Kery Knox, who was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was kind and incredibly helpful, making the planning process a breeze. Not to mention the delightful gourmet chocolate-covered pretzels left on our bed – it was a sweet ending to a perfect day. oved being able to take breaks and go up to their rooms, and come back down. It is truly so convenient. This venue makes planning so easy, as well. All the food, alcohol, and decor can be obtained when booking the venue alone. That was a huge win. Plus, the food and alcohol are truly exceptional. The ballroom is exquisite. I also loved that valet parking was included for our guests with the package we chose. It added to the elegance and wedding vibe I was aiming to achieve. The late night snack we had with our package came out at just the right time. It was delicious and was what everyone need to fuel continued dancing and fun. Finally, the hotel does a nice job at taking care of the set up and clean up. This is so nice and allows all of your guests to be just that, guests. It also allows you to enjoy your special day as the bride. More than one of my guests reached out to tell me that this wedding was the most elegant wedding they had ever been to. A huge thanks to the Hancock hotel!

how much is included when you book. Anything I wanted to at the reception I simply dropped off to Kery the week of and she took care of it. There was no setup or clean up needed from me or any of my family. This was such a stress reliever and time saver! We even got to sneak into the reception while guests were at cocktail hour to see the beautiful space just my husband and I. The downtown location is also perfect for pictures and easy to accommodate guests. The cherry on top of this amazing venue was our surprise gift from the Hancock Hotel when we went to our room for the night. I do not have enough amazing things to say about Hancock Hotel and the fantastic staff that made our wedding day so smooth and perfect!

ut still chose to stay because of the ease of walking upstairs after a fun night and not having to worry about driving home. Many people talked about how gorgeous the hotel was. Our two parents and their friends enjoyed being together in the comfy lobby on Saturday night after the reception. A lot of our guests indulged in the breakfast buffet at Mancy's Sunday morning or Scramblers right down the street. We walked down a block to Wine Merchant for a quick snack Friday after unloading wedding items and checking in. Hancock Hotel is so lucky to have amazing ladies on their staff like Madison Lytle, Abby Hartman, Lori Vance and Tori. I was blown away by their service. Madison and I emailed back and forth from booking immediately after my engagement until my wedding morning. I had a very specific vision in mind for my wedding and they all helped it come to life. They also helped me work directly with my vendors. Most importantly they were all so kind and nice the entire time making the process fun. I came up to my room on my wedding night with a beautiful plate of desserts with chocolate hearts and a gift from Madison of a blanket with my new last name and Dietsches white chocolate roses. All in all, my guests and I loved the ease of everything in one place and I am a perfectionist and my day was exactly as I envisioned it. The only issue I had were a few guests not getting to check in to their room until after 5pm (ceremony) compared to the stated 3pm check in time. Though, they allowed early check in for many of our guests, especially the wedding party which was very beneficial. The only other improvement could be a more efficient valet service. Usually it is very efficient but at Friday check in there was only one person who didn’t help with any items, no one to hold doors and didn’t get cars moving out of the way quickly at all.

We used the suite for all of the girls to get ready the day of, and there was plenty of room. Mancy's Steakhouse provided amazing catering for the reception dinner - the food tasted exactly as it did during our tasting and our guests raved about the quality and good portions. The staff was outstanding, providing excellent service not just for the bridal party, but for all of our guests during their stay. The location is perfect in downtown Findlay, Ohio with plenty of restaurants and shops in the area for guests to enjoy during their stay. Overall, I cannot say enough about how happy we were with our experience at the Hancock Hotel.

The wedding coordinators we worked with were helpful throughout the planning process and were open to working with us to make it a great day for us & our guests. As one of the first weddings at this new venue, we ran into a few minor issues once we got to the day of the wedding, relating to previously-agreed upon buffet options, help with technical difficulties, and a valet issue. We were able to resolve these with the Hancock, and overall, truly loved our entire experience & wedding day! The Hancock Hotel has the potential to be a top-notch wedding venue after they work out a few minor kinks to their day-of services.

commodating but also exceptionally pleasant to work with. Megan went above and beyond to ensure that every need was tended to, every detail was covered and every worry we had was put to rest. On the day of our wedding the staff worked seamlessly to provide top notch service to our guests while also providing a welcoming presence. Our only true hiccup of the evening was running out of an entree prior to the end of our dinner hour, which resulted in a table of guests not receiving their desired entree. It was our understanding that food was to be replenished throughout the hour duration as needed, so this came as a disappointment when guests began alerting us. Overall, this gorgeous venue exceeded our expectations and we have highly recommended them to our friends/family. If you are looking to celebrate your special day here, I guarantee that you will be in the best of hands, especially with Megan by your side!
