my wife called to verify that if she got her ring cut off at t would be covered by the ring protection. They told us that it would be covered. she got it cut off by a doctor and we brought the ring in and they told us it would cost $500 to repair and that it wasn’t covered by the ring protection. Lancaster said they didn’t talk to us so we went to the downtown location and a woman there said yes she did say it would be covered. they took the ring and a week later tell us it’s not covered and told us how much it cost to repair. This company won’t stand by their word and I refuse to ever spend another dollar here. I will also make sure to pass on the word on how they treat their customers. very disappointed in what I thought was a good company.
I had a bad experience with this store and would not recommend them or their products. I bought my wife's wedding ring here and a few years later paid to upgrade it to a bigger set. Along with the upgraded ring, the saleslady also sold a "lifetime" service plan that promises to fix or replace the jewelry if there are any issues with it. A short while later the ring had a problem with the stone and mounting. I took it in and thinking they would just repair it, left it at the store. After a week or so, I called to inquire about the status and was surprised that they hadn't even started looking at it. Again I waited while it had to be sent out to their repair center to be worked on. Weeks passed, finally, after me calling repeatedly about it, I received a call back and was told that they would not be covering the repair. The reason given was that the ring wasn't brought in for regular inspection. After I provided proof that it in fact had been brought in for regular inspections at the Albany store, reluctantly they fixed it. This process took about two months, during which time the ring was unable to be worn. More recently a crack developed in the gemstone (mosenite, don't buy it) and I brought it back into the Albany store and asked for it to be sent in for repair under the warranty plan. The store personnel's attitude immediately turned sour and I was advised that the ring would not be eligible for warranty repair and that I had been advised of this at the time of the previous repair. Of course, knowing this to be totally untrue I asked to provide proof, she pretended to look it up but then basically told us she couldn't be of any more help. When I asked to speak with someone higher up, I was told that the owner, Sean would call to discuss. I soon found out how (un) important long time customers were to the of this company. He never called. A secretary called and basically repeated the same thing that the unfriendly lady told me in-store. When I asked why I wasn't speaking with the owner, she said that he was too busy "visiting" his stores to take 5 mins to call and listen to my concerns. Too busy to speak with a customer that spent several thousands of dollars at his store on a now worthless ring. Too busy to address quality concerns that seem to plague his products. This is the kind of atmosphere this jewelry chain has. They are too busy selling useless service plans, crappy quality, and horrible (nonexistent) customer service and support. I would advise anyone that is thinking of buying anything from this ripoff organization to go elsewhere. I will tell all my friends and family to stay far away from this unbelievably dysfunctional company. Trust me, there is truth in the saying "The customer is always right".
My husband (boyfriend at the time) and I went in to Harry Ritchies to pick up a piece of jewelry for a friend and walked out with an engagement ring for me! I absolutely love my engagement ring and matching wedding band. Every time I have gone in to Harry Ritchies with a problem or question they have been very friendly and offer a complimentary ring cleaning.
Love my ring :-)
We ordered our wedding band custom through Harry's and it turned out beautifully. They did a very professional and nice job.
Very Friendly and good prices
My husband and I have been shopping at Harry Richies for years they are always so friendly and helpful. We purchased both mine and his ring here.
We went and charged my Husband (now) and my Wedding Bands in August 2011 at the Big Summer Blow-out Sale! We got great rings for Killer prices! My husband has a two-tone ring from the Love Story Collection with 3 small diamonds on the top representing past-present-future. My wedding band is a simple ladies 14K ring with 9 diamonds in it. My husband's ring is already has taken a beating, and we got married 12-21-12.
I love my wedding ring I got from here. They were very friendly and my groom was able to get his ring here as well.
We had bought my ring at the Harry Ritchie's in Springfield and tried to go to the one in Eugene (since we were in the neighborhood) for my husband's. Big mistake! The rings were nice-- the service, not so much. The lady couldn't be bothered to help us, sighed like we were making her life miserable, and walked away half way through the transaction. So did we! We left and went the the other location and have been happy customers there ever since. Do not go here unless you enjoy being treated like a useless waste of time!
loved my ring!
I found a fantastic ring for my finance at a great value!
Everytime I went in here (which was a lot) I got such friendly service! I love my ring and my husbands!!
My jewelry was absolutely beautiful!
My husband bought me a beautiful necklace that I wore on our wedding day!
My husband wanted some thing simple yet durable for a wedding band. We visited several jewelers at the Lloyd Center before finally going into Harry Ritchies.
We were quickly approached by a sale man who was not only very friendly, but also knowledgable. He let us look at several different bands and gave us information about each.
We came to a decision and he sized my husband and put our order in. He made the whole process easy going.
After a month, we had his band and it fit perfectly. My husband is beyond happy about his ring and loves wearing it.
