Hillside Manor

This place is FANTASTIC! My wife and I searched and searched for an affordable yet beautiful location and we highly recommend this venue to anyone who asks! We absolutely loved being there and have wonderful memories!

Hillside Manor is a beautiful place! I highly recommend this venue any time of year. We had my daughter's wedding in February of this year and it was perfect!! The staff was very helpful and the day couldn't have been more perfect!

Even though we stumbled upon Hillside Manor kind of late in our venue search, we immediately knew it was the place for us, even after seeing many beautiful venues. On our wedding day it rained, and everything was able to be relocated in the barn and it turned out to be such an intimate setting. The owners and staff are fantastic to work with and I would say “I do” there again in a heartbeat.

When we got engaged last July, I knew immediately that I was going to choose Hillside Manor! This venue fit perfectly into mine and my now husbands style. The outdoor area is phenomenal; something you’d see in a movie. The landscaping is beautiful. The large pond and dock make a gorgeous backdrop for photos and are super romantic at night. The barn has been updated some but still has that rustic feel we love! We loved the fact that you had NO idea you were right by the highway and near town. It was calm, peaceful and relaxing! I also really enjoyed the cows and the donkeys! Absolutely adorable and added to the venues charm. My parents rented the property for the whole weekend for me, my husband and our wedding party and we had the most amazing weekend! The house is every historic home lovers dream! The boys had their own space on wedding day with a huge downstairs area, own bedroom/bathrooms, kitchenette/fridge and a pool table! The bridal suite was also amazing! Multiple bathrooms for the girls, a cute balcony off the suite, and an amazing jetted tub for some pre-wedding relaxation! The whole staff at hillside was amazing to work with. They made sure everything was perfect from rehearsal dinner to wedding night! On my wedding day-it became a MONSOON. Literally. But the staff at Hillside didn’t even worry, they jumped right into action making sure my indoor ceremony was accommodated. They had staff available to transport guests from parking to the ceremony in a completely closed in golf cart so they’d stay dry, and made sure everyone was taken care of! I am so glad we chose Hillside Manor for our venue! Our wedding day was unforgettable and perfect!💗

We are eternally grateful for Hillside Manor!!! We planned to have an outdoor wedding in March. As we approached the wedding date and the weather become more apparent, it was clear an indoor venue was a must! The Hillside Manor thankfully was able to accommodate our date. Erin was excellent. The venue itself is a hidden charm in Oklahoma. The house design and decor is inviting and comfortable and felt like a home away from home. They did an excellent job preserving the rustic atmosphere of the entire place. The property has a park like setting with a gorgeous pond and barn that makes for great photos. We were easily able to fit our bridal party and family members comfortably. Erin has a variety of decor available and an eye for putting it together for the perfect touch. She was a huge help to make my big day run smooth! I felt as if I didn’t lift a finger. It was reasonable and so worth it, especially having a place to stay overnight. I would 100% recommend taking a tour to consider Hillside Manor for any special event.

Wonderful service, BEAUTIFUL scenery. I keep telling my husband of we can get married there again. I love love love hillside manor!

This venue was the best part of my wedding. The staff was very helpful and responsive to our needs! Such a beautiful place! I can only wish the owners of this venue the best and thank you for making our wedding dreams come to reality!!

I am very disappointed in this venue. However it has nothing to do with the venue itself. The property is gorgeous. After having one of our venue options fall through, I had come across Hillside Manor and I felt like it was a godsend. I had been really stressed out about getting things booked because I am planning to get married during peak season, so I know that dates can go fast. Especially after losing our first venue because of it selling, we felt like Hillside Manor felt like a really incredible place to get married. After almost 20 emails and a tour, I thought that we finally had gotten it all figured out. We were told during our initial tour that the inside areas were no longer going to be for rent because the couple were going to be having a baby. We told them that it was perfectly fine and that it wouldn’t be a problem because we were flexiable. We were planning a very intimate wedding, so it wasn’t too big of a deal as we are from the Norman area. I felt that after I left the venue, it was really truly what we wanted and was going to be perfect for us. I have grown up being around the wedding business and so I know that contracts need to be looked over before you book anything. After checking over the contract, I emailed Nicole this morning to ask when a good time to come by and book would be. Mind you, we have been emailing for several weeks at this point. My response is that they have suddenly changed their minds and that they no longer will be doing weddings at that time. I was actually shocked. I was in tears because I had really gotten my heart set on that venue for my day. I felt that it was very unprofessional to not reach out to someone as the owner of the business and tell them that they had decided against planning weddings at that time. I would have been upset but would have appreciated the effort. However I felt completely blindsided. Decisions like this don’t just happen overnight. Very disappointing.

Wedding venue was beautiful and as far as I can tell the Bride and Groom had a fantastic time. Among guests though we felt like we were constantly being bothered to get the update on their no liquor policy to which they had their security guard asking people to smell their cups, when the wedding was already being served beer and wine. When I put my review on their Facebook, honestly wasn't expecting to get response and instead that backfired badly they decided to slam "immediate" family members for breaking their rules and then to go on and attempt to publicly shame someone who honestly went to their car too many times. If this venue doesn't respect he opinions of guests they won't respect your opinions either. Long Story short everyone has different opinions. I would pick a venue that had more respect bride and grooms families. I personally will not be having my wedding here. Hope this helps. :)
