Michele and the team at the Hilton were awesome!
We were drawn to the venue because of its prime location and ease for guests. While there are a lot of beautiful venues in Southeastern, CT, this one ensured easy access, no need for shuttle busses, etc.
They made planning so simple: my head was spinning with a la carte options from other venues, and the Hilton made it simple with a per-head price that included bar, chair rental - even our wedding cake. It really streamlined the planning process.
The servers were all warm and friendly, with familiar faces we met during our planning trips and tasting being there through our wedding, too.
Our out-of-town family enjoyed the firepits and lounge areas to catch up between wedding events throughout the weekend, and the team did a great breakfast spread for our morning-after brunch.
Above and beyond: Michele and Keith even helped us with unloading our car and storing our decor/favors! It was so unexpected but really shows how supportive and invested they were in our wedding going off without a hitch.
We cannot say enough about how perfect of a decision it was to host our wedding at Hilton Mystic. From the moment of our initial consult/tour, Keith (Sales Director) made us feel so comfortable with how they treat their clients and how dedicated they would be to any event. Michele (Catering Sales Manager) joined the team about a year before our wedding, and she was an absolute blessing to us. The food is incredible, the ballrooms are beautiful, the entire staff is attentive, and everyone really will go above and beyond for you. They truly operate on the mentality of "what is best for the client" and we cannot thank them enough for providing the perfect venue for our wedding.
We did our cocktail hour, reception, and room block at the Hilton Mystic and everything was perfect. My guests are still talking about how great the venue was! The Commodore suite was perfect and spacious to get ready in, and a great place for guests to come and hang out with us after the wedding. Michele was so kind and accommodating through everything. The food was delicious! Everything was perfect!
The Hilton was the center of our wedding weekend events and Brittany and Kayla were wonderful to work with. We had our reception off site but threw the after party back at the hotel. We had scheduled a set up of a private bar and food in a room connected to the bar so easy access to the outside fire pits. The food was great and the bartender that worked the after party was amazing. Rich was friendly and our guests loved his upbeat attitude to a point that they made comments to us, he really was that good. The brunch the next day was also well done and overall I am so happy we used the Hilton as our hub. Also the Commodore Suite is really fantastic for getting ready. The room was great being able to host the wedding party through our the weekend and we had hair/makeup come to the hotel.
If i could give 10 stars I would, working with Brittany was amazing and planning my wedding from the west coast was very simple thanks to her. Our cocktail hour was wonderful and all of the workers made sure our guest were enjoying themselves. The team did a fantastic job with our bridal party and making sure my husband and I ate, and took care of any road bumps that were in the way. The food at the reception was wonderful and the ballroom was set up wonderfully. The day was beautiful and the Hilton made it an even better memory for us.
We cannot thank Brittney Davis, Kayla Bohonowicz and the rest of the amazing staff at the Hilton Mystic for helping to make our wedding weekend a dream. My husband and I got married at Latitude 41 on 7/16/17. When we began our search for hotels that could accommodate our bridal party and guests, we were instantly impressed with this hotel. We contacted the hotel and received an immediate response from Brittney (sales manager). She was incredible with meeting with us months before the wedding to go over all details, gave us a tour of the hotel, reviewed different options and helped to answer all of our questions up until our wedding. She helped to create our room block and made adjustments as things came up. Brittney and Kayla (conference services manager) helped us also in organizing an after party following our wedding and a breakfast for our guests the next day. We had an area just outside the hotel restaurant where they served pizza and sliders for us (something we had chosen off their menu). The entire staff at the Irons Restaurant was wonderful! Kayla helped to ensure we had enough food and also to coordinate with the restaurant/bar staying open a little later for us. We were so appreciative because our guests loved the after party/breakfast, the hotel and shared their wonderful experiences with the staff.
The hotel itself is beautiful and the perfect location to the aquarium and mystic village (right across the street). Also, the hotel provides transportation to downtown mystic, the seaport as well as the casino. Some of our guests made a vacation out of the trip to our wedding and enjoyed the transportation services provided. Also, if you are interested in fitness the hotel has a really nice fitness center. It is also located right across the street from another fitness gym and crossfit gym (which my husband LOVED).
We cannot thank Hilton Mystic enough and highly recommend the hotel for any event or stay!
My wife and I did our wedding block at the Hilton and it was great. Brittney and team were easy to work with, organized and super helpful with all of our questions along the way in our planning process. Our wedding was at Saltwater Farm Vineyard a few minutes away. It was super convenient to everything! Everyone was very accommodating. The Irons bar was where we did our after-party and it was perfect as well! Highly recommended.
We used the Hilton because everything was included with our rental. On top of the general food, drinks, tables/chairs, staff, etc., we also got a suite where the guys got ready and we held our after party, and a suite for the bride and groom to sleep (with complimentary champagne and a whirlpool tub).
The staff were great to work with, the only reason I gave them a 4 and a lower score for service is because or original planner went on maternity leave then ended up leaving permanently and we kind of got lost in the shuffle and couldn't get a hold of anyone for a few weeks. Once everything was sorted out, they were great, very accommodating, and easy to work with. We brought in our own deserts (mini-pies made by our moms) and they served a signature Bride's white sangria and Groom's rum and coke (our favorites).
The staff was very efficient and dinner was great! There was more than enough space for our 88 guests and large photo booth.
I would highly recommend this venue!
I stayed here for our wedding and they were great. Our wedding was at Mystic Aquarium across the street. It was super convenient to everything! Everyone was very accomadating. We were able to get adjoining rooms with a suite so my wedding party and I could all get ready together. We also had our rehearsal dinner there and the service and food was great. They also kept the bar open for us after the wedding since we had such a big block of rooms booked. The buffet breakfast was great. I would definately stay there again!
The Hilton was amazing!! The room was gorgeous and the setup was perfect. It was the perfect size for our wedding of 100. The guests have done nothing but rave about the food.
the hotel was very conveniently located for our needs and those of our guests. However, the late check-in time of 4pm was unnerving for all concerned. The staff was very helpful and very friendly. I would recommend that you try to work with them re the check-in time.
I planned a small 50 person wedding. It was wonderful. Cindy helped me through the process and was amazing. I can't say enough about the whole process being so smooth.
The Hilton Mystic staff made us feel so comfortable through the entire planning process. Our reception was beautiful and flawless as the on site coordinator remained behind the scenes to organize our details and to be sure that everything was exactly as we wanted it. We were so impressed and would reccommend the Hilton Mystic to anyone for any event that they might be hosting!
