Such a wonderful place for your wedding!!
We were honored to perform a wedding ceremony at Historic Camden,
everything was absolutely beautiful, the staff is great to work with.
We’ve done over 4000 weddings at hundreds of venues in several states and this is one of my very favorites. I’d love to go back!!
I would recommend it to couples looking for the perfect setting for their wedding.
My reception at the McCaa Tavern was perfect- simple but elegant, intimate and special. We were married in the gardens on Oct 13 2018 and then brought the party to the tavern after the ceremony. It was the epitome of autumnal cosiness with toasty fireplaces, golden glowing chandeliers, and rustic tavern seating. We loved it and will remember it always.
I've been dreaming of a vintage inspired wedding with southern details since I was a little girl. Historic Camden's Kershaw Mansion and backyard formal garden offered us the perfect backdrop and the whole day was beyond beautiful. The Georgian revival style house was full of genuine southern charm that transported my guests to an earlier era. Not to mention the exquisite the garden grounds!! Can't believe it's so close to us in Columbia. Took us only 30 min door to door.
The Kershaw Mansion garden at Historic Camden was an incredible venue for our wedding! The grounds are gorgeous with various perennials and flowers. The blooming crepe myrtles and the rose beds were so beautiful. Our wedding was June 2018 and Jane, the wedding liason there, was so easy to work with and accommodated all our needs. She really went out of her way to ensure that everything was perfect for the big day. I would highly recommend Historic Camden host your upcoming event!
What an incredibility special place! Bill and I were married here on Sept 15th, 2018 Our family and friends still talk about how perfect it was and I couldnt have dreamed of a better day. The just renovated bridal suites in the Kershaw Mansion were the perfect place to get dressed and drink mimosas with my bridesmaids and family before the wedding. The pictures from that turned out amazing. And my hubs loved the Groomsmen room - he and the guys loved hanging out and drinking in there! If you get married here, it will be a wedding that no one will ever forget!
