We used hotel indigo for all our day of wedding needs. Our wedding had 100 guest. Our room block was with them. We had our ceremony in their court yard, and our reception in the Rialto Room. Everything about indigo was great, but the reason we chose it was to avoid being responsible for transporting guest somewhere, and this worked perfectly. Even our guests who didn't stay there could easily get there walking or with uber/driving. And our families and guest who did stay at the hotel loved the convenience, and utilized the suites and lobby as a great meet up space, which created a great sense of community during our wedding. The hotel was also easily walkable to our rehearsal event the day before at Creature Comforts.
The hotel service throughout the entire process was excellent, and they worked with all of my vendors very well. The space provided was exactly as pictured and worked great for us. All my guest loved the hotel. We used their presidential suites (1000sq foot spaces) as our day of bridal and groom suites, and that worked our perfectly. We utilized the stage set up option in the Rialto room for karaoke during our reception and that was amazing. With everyone seated at round tables for dinner, they were able to just pull a few tables back during the dance party and we had plenty of space. Highly recommend indigo if this is your vibe! They nailed it!
Carissa and her team at the Hotel Indigo knocked our wedding weekend out of the park!!! Could not have gone better on all fronts…but most importantly removing the stress from my new wife and allowing her to relax and enjoy this special time! From the Presidential Suite being beautiful and spacious which allowed the Bridesmaids and the hair/makeup people to make the morning of more of a fun bonding event to our guests rooms being spot on…to the hotel bar and outdoor area being open late night, just covered all the bases for our friends and family! Thankful beyond belief to Carissa in particular for her attention to detail, calm demeanor and organizational skills…she is the GOAT! The cool and classy vibe of the Hotel Indigo and the Rialto Club Room as well as an amazing team made our dream weekend a reality! Cannot recommend more highly…just out of words:)
We loved absolutely everything about our wedding at Hotel Indigo! With having guests from out of town it was SO convenient to have our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception all in one place. All of the staff we worked with and encountered were beyond helpful and extremely professional and friendly. Everything was so smooth from the planning to the actual event. It was so nice being able to have our outdoors wedding in the courtyard without having to worry about people burning up in the sun or worry if it rained what we would do- thanks to their retractable awning that covers the space. The bartenders were highly praised by our guests and ensured everyone was well taken care of. Our dinner for our rehearsal we did the in house catering and the food was delicious! We could not imagine having had our wedding anywhere else!
We had a fabulous weekend at Hotel Indigo celebrating my son’s marriage to his wonderful fiancé! The rooms were a welcome respite from all the activities and are so comfortable and luxurious. The lobby and breakfast/bar/sofa/outdoor area provided a fun place to visit with family and the wedding party at all hours. We had the welcome party downstairs in the Rialto Club and it couldn’t have been more perfect! The wedding planning staff was so easy to work with and was helpful and responsive. The wedding venue was only a short walk from Hotel Indigo so the location worked out well. It was a perfect weekend!
10/10 recommend for your wedding! Staying at Hotel Indigo was awesome. Yes, I know they’re a little on the expensive side (even with a room block discount). But the experience for us and our guests made it worth it. The rooms were beautiful and spacious and were the perfect location for our getting-ready photos. The Presidential Billiards Suite had enough space for over 15 women to get ready / hang out throughout the day, and the fridge made serving breakfast and lunch super easy. Augusta helped with all of our questions and was genuinely interested in everything going on for our wedding. The breakfast in the lobby was so good! Most of our guests ate at least one meal there, and we enjoyed it in the morning after our wedding. Communication about our room block was easy, and we felt like a priority from check-in to check-out!
We also had our Rehearsal Dinner and Welcome Party in the Rialto Room. The space is MADE for this. Our guests loved the atmosphere, and the bartenders were great.
The only issue was during the months leading up to the dinner and party, it wasn't clear WHO our point of contact was. We found ourselves explaining things multiple times to multiple people, which was annoying. They seemed to be going through a leadership change, but it was never communicated to us clearly who was actually in charge of our event. But when it came time to execute the event, Natalee Bavani could not have done a better job. She learned about our event basically that afternoon, and everything went as planned. HUGE shoutout to Natalee.
We had my son’s rehearsal
Dinner at the realto club at hotel indigo, and the wedding party stayed at the hotel for the weekend . We had a wonderful experience! Everything was perfect!
My husband and I got married at Hotel Indigo a little over a week ago and I can't recommend this venue more! The convenience of having our ceremony, reception, and hotel room in the same place was AMAZING. The courtyard was gorgeous for our ceremony and had plenty of space to fit our 109 guests. The rialto club was awesome. I loved having both the dinner/dance area and the lounge area so guests had the ability to get away from the party. The bar and bartenders were amazing and really kind and attentive. Leigh and Charlie are super communicative and were always happy to answer my ten thousand emails lol. The staff in the hotel itself were also great. Everyone was super kind and eager to help.
My husband and I got married at Hotel Indigo Athens almost 2 months ago now! We had an amazing experience with the hotel and the wedding planning/venue staff. As far as the hotel itself, we were very pleased! We had a room block at the hotel which included clean, cute, and spacious rooms for our guests which was a big hit. The lobby bar and outside patio area had plentiful seating and were a great hang out spot throughout our wedding weekend.
What really made our experience amazing was the staff! Our wedding venue coordinator, Leigh, and our day of coordinator, Charlie, were just amazing. Leigh made the entire wedding booking and planning process so easy and Charlie did an incredible job with making sure the wedding day ran smoothly. Not to mention, they are just cool people and so fun to work with :) Even the bartenders at our wedding were incredible! They signed our guest book AND wrote a recipe for a specialty cocktail that my husband sampled at the wedding. We were so happy with all the aspects of Hotel Indigo Athens and we would for sure recommend it to anyone!
We had a room block at Hotel Indigo for my daughter’s wedding and couldn’t have been more pleased! The wedding sales manager, Leigh Palmer, stayed in excellent communication with me during the entire process. She kept me informed of rooms booked and remaining and when we ran out of rooms- was even able to secure a few more. We had the rehearsal for the wedding in the outdoor courtyard and it was a perfect space. We also had breakfast on Sunday morning in the art room after the wedding. The food was delicious and was restocked frequently. All of the staff members were efficient and friendly. Rooms were clean and very affordable priced. They front desk did a great job passing out the welcome bags as guests arrived. (We had a problem with that at a hotel block at a Marriott property for my son’s wedding). I highly recommend Hotel Indigo for a wedding block or any type of stay in Athens!
We stayed in Hotel Indigo’s Presidential Billiards suite for our wedding weekend and had a phenomenal experience! Leigh and her staff were excellent to work with throughout the whole wedding process, helpful at accommodating our guest changes in our block, and made the whole weekend such a breeze! The bridal party (15 heads plus flower girls) all got ready there - lots of space for the hair & makeup team to work and didn’t feel crowded at all. Highly recommend!!!
We hosted a casual wedding reception. Staff was very helpful. Venue was exactly what we needed.
After looking at many hotels in Athens we knew the Hotel Indigo was the perfect hotel to host our guest for my sons wedding. I can't say enough great things about our experience that weekend. Leigh Palmer was our coordinator and I knew we were in great hands throughout all the planning. She was organized and picked the perfect rooms for us and our needs. She also worked hand in hand with our shuttle service for our guest. The staff is very is excellent and the rooms were great. You will not go wrong in picking this hotel for your wedding.
Hotel Indigo was our #1 choice for our block of rooms for my daughter's wedding. I knew the minute I started working with Abby that this was the place. They were very responsive to all my many emails and questions. Very accommodating and thorough in all of the planning! We also chose this hotel because of the FABULOUS suites they have. We had the baby blue baby grande piano as the bridal suite (which was HUGE) and we had the billiard room (complete with putt putt green and full kitchen as well) for the grooms suite. The entire bridal party was able to get ready for the big day in these. Abby also hooked me up with additional attached/or close by rooms for the additional bridesmaids and groomsmen. Not only did she help me with this, but also all of the family suites/rooms I had to book and kept it all organized! I also would highly recommend finding Leigh!! She was Ah-mazing as well! She was so attentive, and made us feel even more special on the big wedding weekend. She made sure the rooms were exactly as we wanted, helped us with early check in, handled getting all the hotel guest boxes to the rooms for their arrival, and even helped me with extra tables and whatever we needed! She was only a phone call away and was extremely prompt, responsive and very kind. It was apparent that it was a busy weekend at the hotel , but not once did she ever make me feel like she was "too busy" to help. She was kind and courteous always!! As for the rooms, amazing! Clean and beautiful! We also arranged a brunch the morning after the wedding in the art gallery downstairs. We got the sunrise buffet and it was DELICIOUS!!! I'm not a big breakfast person, but I enjoyed every bite! People kept talking about how good the food was and how wonderful it was to have a nice hot breakfast before heading home! I cannot even tell you in words what an amazing experience we had with this hotel and the people in it! I would highly recommend staying at Hotel Indigo for whatever even you are in town for!
We picked hotel indigo for one of our wedding blocks and for our bridal party to stay! We stayed in both the large suites in the penthouse level and got ready in them. Leigh and Abby were fantastic to work with! Abby responded to my many emails about the many hotel rooms we booked and Leigh made sure we had everything we needed and more ! They made everything stress free. I would definitely recommend them for your wedding weekend or other special occasion ! we had a brunch the day after the wedding which was amazing as well!
Hotel Indigo was a great wedding venue for our 80 guest count as it was intimate enough, yet big enough to have everyone pocket into small spaces to catch up and take photos. I had Jessica Blount take care of all my wedding questions/needs and she literally made the entire wedding process too easy. At my 4 month mark count down, I felt like it was tooo good to be true to be this stress free.
Our bridal party and immediate family stayed at the hotel which made the entire weekend so stress free. Having our rehearsal, ceremony, and reception at Hotel Indigo made it so much fun and effortless for the entire wedding party and family. The venue is great if you want a modern, chic and easy venue since the down stairs bar and Rialto Room was already super trendy.
Perfect venue for the occasion.
Highly recommend!! We got the package that includes the courtyard for the ceremony, the Rialto Room for reception, and King Suite for 2 nights. Staff was helpful and friendly, wedding coordinator Cheryle was very professional and organized. Venue was beautiful and Rialto Room was perfect for dancing, eating, and hanging out by the bar. We had about 115 guests and could have fit more in the Rialto room. They upgraded our room to one of the penthouses with a pool table, which was perfect place for an afterparty. The reduced wedding guest rate was $129 per night up to a month before the wedding. Staff also worked well with out vendors.
The staff at Hotel Indigo was a pleasure to work with! They were happy to hand out welcome bags for our guests as they checked in and really went above and beyond to make sure every one of our guests staying at Hotel Indigo had a great stay.
If you are looking for a one stop shop this is the place. Having my wedding at Hotel Indigo was the best venue for us. We had a lot of guest coming from out of town/state for the wedding and the convenience of having the rehearsal, ceremony and reception was great. The packages offered is what sold me. Talk about easy on a BRIDE. Plus the packages come with a wedding planner which makes it even easier. Cherlye was my wedding planner and she was great! She ironed out all the details beforehand, communicated with the other vendors, arranged flowers, made sure we ate, and kept the bridal party in line for the rehearsal. Originally I was going to do the ceremony outside in the courtyard but as you know March weather in Ga is not predicable. I made the decision to have the ceremony downstairs in the Rialto Club (best choice I made). It was super easy, the area was set up perfectly and it was a quick and easy switch when it was time for the reception, plus our guest just went to the spacious bar area. I decided to do the catering from Indigo as well. Lisa, the chief, is so talented. The food was amazing and we even got to eat it- both appetizers and meal (thanks to Cheryle). Everything can be customized which we loved. Jessica and Meg were the event coordinators and both were great to work with. Everyone was very prompt with email responses and even came down to the wedding area to say hello and make sure everything was going alright. Also can’t forget the bartenders… well guests might of… Just kidding… great customer service. We had 100 guests and everyone was very pleased at the service. We had open beer and wine with the option to pay for liquor if wanted- Meg had suggested that- such a good idea. Overall, Hotel Indigo was the best venue I could of asked for. Cheryle came and checked on the bridal party the morning of to ask if we needed anything. Everyone was very kind and helpful. Great food, great service, awesome time. Our guests were extremely impressed with the venue.
Hotel Indigo was wonderful about communicating with me through the entire process. Once my guests arrived, they were treated like they were at home!
We had our rehearsal dinner here and over 80 guests stay at the hotel! It was so fun to have everyone in one place and the rooms were awesome.
We got married during a really busy weekend in April. They were able to work with us when it came to making sure there were enough rooms blocked for all of my out-of-town guests including one for us! All of the staff there were very helpful and pleasant!
We had the majority of our guests stay here (we did too) and loved it. The hotel is clean, modern and all of our guests loved it! We didn't have our wedding at the venue, so we only booked one of the suites for us. They provided a bottle of champagne and a sweet note for us when we got back from the wedding on the house. Great service! Recommended!
We held our reception for 150+ guests in the Rialto Club - gorgeous setting! Tables, chairs already set up and staff made it very easy for other vendors to access the site. Would highly recommend!!!
