We can’t say enough great things about the Hyatt Lodge, our wedding day was absolutely perfect. The staff was very responsive, professional, and helpful throughout the whole process. (Thank you Ashley!) On the day of our banquet Captain Cheryl was so attentive and helpful, it helped ease any anxiety knowing we were in good hands. I can’t recommend them enough! Thank you all for making our day so beautiful.

Let me start by saying that we could not recommend Hyatt Lodge enough. We searched all over the Greater Chicagoland area for an all-in-one location. The Hyatt Lodge checked every item on our list. It's in a centralized location; Hyatt offers all-inclusive options that include things like the wedding cake; and after the wedding, everyone could go back to the hotel rooms and crash. While the amenities were great, we are strong believers in service. Our venue host, Ashley Douglas, was amazing! Out of all of the amazing options, she was the reason we chose Hyatt Lodge. She was clear in her explanations, transparent with information, and most of all, fun to work with. Ashley made sure every request was met efficiently and effectively. We loved her! The Hyatt Lodge - Oak Brook truly made our wedding a time to remember! Pro-tip: Ashly recommended we finish the night with a popcorn stand and McDonald's cheeseburgers. We are glad we took her suggestion. It was a massive hit. People are still texting me today talking about how of a "cherry on top" experience it was!

We had the perfect wedding at the Hyatt Lodge. It was everything we wanted in a venue, elegant and classic while feeling natural and "off the beaten path." We got married on site and had our reception in the Grand Oaks Pavilion which is such a gorgeous space that speaks for itself. We loved having the whole weekend in one space where all of our family and friends could be together. Ashley's communication was amazing, responding promptly and working around our schedules. They were committed to our vision and were able to accommodate whatever we wanted within the space. On the day of, all of the on-site staff and managers made a point to introduce themselves to us and make themselves available for whatever we needed. They had appetizers and our signature cocktail available for the two of us as soon as we walked down the aisle and were attentive all night. They made our day so stress free and personal and thoughtful and we couldn't have imagined It at any other place

I have mixed reviews for different parts of the entire process. I’ll start with the negatives and then go into the positives. The main subject of my negatives are from the planning process. We met our “main contact” Tiana and had a good first experience. We chose the Hyatt, and then it started going downhill. First, the communication became worse over time (I understand that there are multiple events before and after ours, but the main responsibility of the sales team should be to respond in a timely manner). I was never able to get Tiana on the phone out of the several times I tried calling, so I had to resort to email. Even then, it still took days before I got a response from her. Second, the information that Tiana gave us we came to learn was completely wrong. Just to list some: She said we couldn’t get a larger dance floor, she did not confirm with the day of staff that we wanted a 3rd bartender, said we couldn’t set up early because of an event the day before, and was wrong about when we could check in to our hotel room the day before. Our communication became so stressful for us, that we preferred to speak to anyone else besides our main contact. Here’s the good part of my review. We were 24 hours away from our wedding day, and we were very stressed out. My last email to our main contact was asking who our banquet captain would be the day of. In a 5 word email, we were told our banquet captain would be Cheryl. With the amount of stress I had, we wanted to meet her before the day of our wedding, so we went to introduce ourselves in person. The minute we met, she had the most genuine smile and greeting to us. We began talking to her and let her know some of the stress we had. From the time we could set up to the size of the dance floor, Cheryl quickly told us how all of our stress could be solved. Cheryl confirmed that there was no event the day before and told us we could even set up the night before. The morning of the wedding, we noticed the dance floor was bigger when we were told it was impossible. 24 hours before the wedding, so much of our stress washed away. After meeting Cheryl, we met a few other people that made the rest of our day so special. We met the front desk attendant, Reed, who was so accommodating in providing us with information on when we could check in so that we had plenty of time, and she even upgraded us to a suite in the hotel which was absolutely stunning. On the day of the wedding, we met the director, Jason, who was also super accommodating. We were battling some rain the day of, but Jason made sure to be in constant communication with us so we knew exactly what was happing leading up to the ceremony. The last group of people we want to shout is the group of staff that was with us on the day of the wedding. We felt so confident in them and they showed such professionalism with everyone they interacted with. We got many compliments on the bar staff and waiter/waitresses some even said “they deserve a raise!”. Overall, our wedding night was so special. We cannot thank Cheryl, Jason, and the event staff enough for all the hard work they did and how they really cared about making it the best moment they could. My only suggestion would be a restructure of the sales team. The lack of communication between them and the rest of the staff at the lodge was the cause for all our stress, but we were beyond lucky to meet the rest of the amazing staff.

WOW! We cannot say enough GREAT things about having our wedding at the Hyatt Lodge! Our wedding service was beyond what we expected. Everyone at our 220 person wedding could not provide enough compliments throughout the day. Throughout the whole process, Ashley was great to work with. She was so professional and catered to every one of our questions and requests. Her whole team, especially Cheryl was beyond amazing. Words cannot express how perfect our a was at the Hyatt Lodge!! We will be going there forever because of the amazing treatment we had.

My daughter had her wedding there last month. The Grand Oaks Pavillion was one of the most beautiful reception spaces I have seen. Huge windows all around facing trees. It was gorgeous. The staff’s attention and care from the first consult to the final day was exceptional. Jason demonstrated a level of care and attention to detail that cannot be matched. His team was professional, respectful and skilled. Jason made sure everything was on time and perfect. The food was fantastic. All the guests raved about the food. Everyone had a great time. I am so grateful to Jason, Tiana, Herminio, and the rest of the staff (front desk, servers, valet) for making my daughter’s special day so memorable.

I had my wedding reception here on October 27, 2023. Ashley Douglas was an amazing person to work with - she was my go-to contact at this location, and handled everything so professionally. She was easy to get into contact with, and I can't say enough good things about her. She made everything so easy, and she's super kind. As for the day-of, I had Angelica, Barb, Maria, Jesus, Rosa, Carmen, Monica, Luz, and Elva as the servers; Anthony and Gaby as the bartenders; Cheryl as the banquet captain. Everyone at my wedding was polite and professional as well. They could read the room well, and handled everything with ease. Highly recommend!!!

We hosted our wedding at The Hyatt Lodge and had a great experience! We had many out of town guests, so having our venue in a hotel was very important to us. The night before our wedding, we hosted a welcome reception for our guests in the Hearth Lounge. The team there was wonderful to work with, and our guests had a great time. Our wedding ceremony and reception were held in The Grand Oaks Pavilion the following day. It was a stunning venue, and we received so many complements from our guests about how beautiful it was and how great the food was! The weather was nice too, so we were able to host our cocktail hour outside! The banquets staff was so wonderful! They made sure we had everything we needed and took great care of our guests. We hosted a breakfast buffet for our guests the morning after our wedding too, which was lovely. All of our guests loved how everything was in the hotel that weekend and they didn't have to worry about getting from place to place. Tiana was amazing to work with throughout the planning process. She answered all of our questions very quickly and was so helpful in making our big day come to life! Once we arrived onsite for the weekend, the whole staff was amazing, from the front desk to the banquets team. Everyone truly went above and beyond to make our day special.

This was a beautiful and wonderful venue for our summer weekend wedding. We were blessed with weather in the 70s, so we could fully enjoy the beauty of the grounds, as we had our wedding in the Grand Oaks Pavilion and ceremony on the Grassy Knoll in front of Lake Fred. The staff, hotel coordinator, and managers were all extremely responsive and friendly. For example, we asked a few people to clear the pathway from acorns and goose droppings as much as possible, and while we were taking photos we saw at least 3-4 people working on it. Our guests raved about the food, the beautiful grounds, comfortable rooms, the amenities including the pool, and the convenience of us hosting everything at the hotel including the rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception and post-wedding breakfast. Shout out to Tiana, Jason, Cheryl, Barb - who were all so wonderful, responsive and professional. Highly recommend as a wedding venue!

We loved this venue due to the fact that it felt like you were outside in nature even though you were in the suburbs of Chicago. We also loved the packages they offered and how so much was included in the packages. Communication could have been a bit better at times, but last year was so busy for many venues it all turned out amazing in the end. The event staff made our day truly special and made sure we had everything we needed. We heard that the bartenders were also amazing with the guests. So many people also complimented the food and that is always a plus at a wedding! The property is gorgeous in the summer and we would highly recommend using Hyatt Lodge. Our only complaint was the room block filling up before we could add more rooms, so we had to have some people stay at another hotel due to the hotel being fully booked! It shows you how popular the venue is!

I cannot say enough about the Hyatt Lodge. My husband and I got married in the Grand Oaks Pavilion, stepped right outside to the foyer for cocktails, and then everyone went right back inside the main room for dinner and dancing. The night was seamless, the food delicious (so many people raved about it!), and the property is just beautiful. Highly recommend. Thank you Lynsey and team!

Gorgeous venue! We had our ceremony outside by the water and the reception at the Grand Oaks Pavilion. Really nice indoor/outdoor flow and the surrounding grounds are stunning. Staff and food were incredible. Great service all around and rooms were nice. I also appreciated it was kind if a one-stop-shop. We could do both ceremony and reception there, and they take care of catering, cake, and room block. Very easy to manage all around! 10/10 would recommend the Hyatt Lodge!

We had our wedding reception in the Grand Oaks Pavilion, and the Hyatt Lodge team far exceeded our expectations. The Pavilion was stunning, the grounds were well kept, the food was delicious, and the service was exceptional. The whole team was great to work with, and we have received so many compliments from guests about how great the Lodge was. Thank you to the whole team!

We had our reception in the Grand Oaks Pavilion, and it was a dream come true. The grounds and the venue are beautiful. Our guests were in awe of the place and had an amazing time. Also, the staff at Hyatt Lodge are so kind and patient. We worked with Jimmy, Lori, and Tiana, and everyone was great. They really care about their clients. My husband and I got married here Sept 2022 and WOW! Our ceremony was held right in front of the lake and it was a dream. Our guests kept complimenting how beautiful the grounds were and I couldn't be happier with the turn out of the day. Working with the staff was an absolute breeze as well, especially with Cassidy and Tiana. They were quick to answer any questions or address any concerns I had throughout the planning process and were incredibly patient with my million questions. From booking all the way through to the wedding I felt taken care of and I can't recommend them enough! absolute perfect day!!

I'm so incredibly glad we chose to get married at Hyatt Lodge! Tiana and her team were phenomenally helpful in making our dreams a reality, helping us stay organized and making strategic recommendations for how to stay within our budget while still getting what we wanted. It was an absolute delight to get married at the Lodge! Everything about our wedding was just perfect! We had our ceremony on the Grassy Knoll and our reception in the Grand Oaks Pavillion. Many of our out of town, and some of our local guests, had the pleasure of staying at the Hyatt as well. This could not have been more perfect. The bridal party had so much fun getting ready in the provided meeting room while the groom’s party got ready in a suite. The set up for the ceremony was seamless and we had a beautiful day. There were also so many little things that the Hyatt did that made our wedding day special. It also helped that the food tasted amazing! We LOVED having the late night cheeseburgers passed out on a platter around the dancefloor. None of our guests can stop talking about it and it made the whole experience super unique. Everyone from the check in staff to the maintenance crew were wonderful. Our bartenders, Anthony and Dan were super friendly and kept the party going. Our personal server, Barb, was constantly ensuring my husband and my needs were met and even brought out a platter of appetizers while we were taking pictures on the grounds during cocktail hour. Cheryl, our banquet manager, did a fantastic job of working with our planner to solve any last minute hiccups without adding any additional stress on my husband or me. Prior to our wedding, planning with the Hyatt was also really easy. Lynsey, our assistant did a great job of ironing out details with our planner and made sure we had a great tasting experience. The platform Hyatt uses for payments was uncomplicated it was effortless to negotiate our contract with the Hyatt and get last minute things added to our final order. The overall cost was also very reasonable for all of the services that the Hyatt provided. I could not have asked for a better wedding experience, everything was just so beautiful and perfect!

The DREAMIEST locale for our winter wedding!!! Everyone at Hyatt Lodge was incredible friendly and accommodating, and Lori (our Event Manager) was THE BEST!!! The first time my husband and I visited the Hyatt for a venue tour in 2019, we knew it was the venue for us. We were so thrilled when it ended up working out for our big day! When 2020 hit and my husband and I had to postpone our wedding multiple times, the Hyatt was extremely friendly and accommodating in helping us find a new date in 2021. We were one of the few lucky couples in this sense. Even though the Hyatt team underwent several staffing changes between our initial communication in 2019 and our wedding day in 2021, they remained professional and communicative. Everything ran extremely smoothly on our wedding day. We could not be more grateful to the team at the Hyatt Lodge!

Overall, our wedding at the Hyatt Lodge was amazing. We were fortunate to book our date prior to the pandemic, so we had a lot of time to work with Hyatt leading up to the wedding. We had our ceremony on the grassy knoll, our cocktail hour outside on the terrace, and the reception in the Grand Oak Pavillion. We loved the setting outside for the ceremony, and the reception was beautiful with the lighting on the trees we could see from the room. The food, wine, and bar were all very good and our guests loved the venue. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that there was a lot of turnover between when we booked the venue and when we had the wedding. This led to some frustrating communciations between us, our planner, and Hyatt, and a few minor things didn't go as planned on the day of. Nothing major, and we got refunded for the mistakes, but wanted to call that out. Overall, we loved our experience at Hyatt and would recommend!

Although, I started planning this wedding during the start of COVID season, the event planners at the Hyatt Lodge always kept me up to date on everything that was going on. Absolutely amazing place, amazing people, amazing food. From multiple beautiful rooms you get to pick from, from a wide variety of food. The services they offered were amazing. If I could do it all over again, I would pick the same place. Thank you Lynsey for endless emails back and forth. Cheryl, for the day of the wedding, you were amazing in every way!

The definitely went through a lot coordinator but the day of people was amazing. the food was fresh, service impeccable and all my needs were met. I would have not wanted to have my wedding anywhere else.

We had our wedding at the Hyatt Lodge this past weekend. The Grand Oaks is one of the most beautiful reception rooms I have ever seen. Everything about our wedding exceeded our expectations. You must have your wedding here!! The food and dinner wine service was very timely. We received many compliments on how good the food was. We chose the filet mignon and sea bass. People who chose beef loved it, but the real stand out was how good the fish was. Our upgraded bar was a big hit. We loved having the ceremony and cocktail hour outside. The ceremony location was beautiful overlooking the water. Swans even swam by right as we were saying our vows. The event staff was really what made the Hyatt stand out. Everyone went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed and that everyone had a good time and enjoyed themselves. An extra special touch was when my husband and I were brought champagne glasses and hors d'oeuvres right after the ceremony, because the staff knew we would be busy and would not have time to eat or stop by the bar. Everything about the day was magical!

I would recommend this venue to anybody! This was the only venue we looked at before everything shut down due to COVID and it did not disappoint. We immediately booked and it was the best choice we could have made. Jimmy Viscomi, the events manager, was incredibly responsive via email and ready to meet whenever we needed it. It is reasonably priced and worth every penny. There are options for all types of wedding (wooded, water front, indoors). We were all able to stay on site and got a beautiful discounted suite for the bridal suite. Our wedding would not have been the same if we didn't have it at the Hyatt Lodge 10000/10 recommend.

We recently had our wedding at the Hyatt Lodge Oak Brook. Jimmy Viscomi was the Events Manager and was absolutely incredible to work with from beginning to end. He took care of every single detail. He was very organized and made the wedding planning process stress free. It is a beautiful property, set further back with incredible landscaping, flowers and lake (the lake even has swans!). A great setting for a wedding. We had our wedding reception in Prairie ballroom, which was very spacious and had a great view of the lake. The food was delicious and our wedding guests raved about it. Most of them stayed at the hotel too, which they found convenient. If you are looking for a wedding venue, I would highly recommend you check the Hyatt Lodge out (and ask for Jimmy!)

We unfortunately did not get to have our wedding reception here due to a change in plans because of COVID-19.. but I did make it through the entire planning process with Jimmy and other Hyatt staff. They were WONDERFUL! I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. Jimmy was on top of everything which was so comforting since I am an out of state bride. This place was my dream venue and I wish 2020 worked out differently, but I am thankful for the experience of working with Jimmy and the Hyatt Oak Brook. I would recommend them to anyone and am hopeful to attend a wedding here someday to see what the day could have been.

I contacted Jimmy at Hyatt lodge two weeks before my wedding because I had a change in venue and the whole entire team at Hyatt lodge was amazing and a lifesaver! Even with the pandemic they assured me my wedding would be perfect and it truly was! Cheryl was the captain day of and she was so sweet from the moment I met her! Rest assured that this team will do everything they can to make sure you have the wedding of your dreams! The Grand Oaks Pavilion was the perfect spot for my wedding and it turned out to be magical and all I could hope for! Food was delicious as well as my fab cake! I would recommend them a thousand times over!!!

My husband and I recently got married here and the wedding day was absolutely AMAZING because of the venue and staff! The rooms for getting ready and party spaces were very well cleaned and accommodated all of our needs (aligned with all of the COVID protocol). The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception were impeccable! Cheryl and Sally were extremely attentive and a pleasure. The bartender Dan kept everyone happy mixing great drinks all night! We had the absolute best wedding day and that was by far thanks to the staff. Specifically, the planning and communication of each detail with Jimmy Viscomi, our venue coordinator, was fantastic!

Words cannot describe how amazing our experience was with the Hyatt Lodge and their staff for our wedding. From start to finish, we had an incredible experience. The communication was amazing and they did everything they could to satisfy us and make our wedding exactly what we wanted. The food on our wedding day was incredible, as were all of the services throughout the night. I could choose this venue 100+ more times if I could. It is 100% worth the price; they did ALL of the work and made the process entirely stress free. Love this venue and all of the people that work there!

My husband and I just had our wedding here in August of 2019 and we were very happy throughout the entire wedding planning process (which for us began in October of 2018). We only had a reception for our big day and we chose the Grand Oaks Pavilion to host our event (the room with all the windows). We looked at venues all over the Chicago suburb area but this ballroom was easily the most beautiful out of everything we saw and it really brought my vision of an outdoor wedding to life without the complications of actually having an outdoor wedding. We worked with Jimmy and he was suer helpful and accommodating throughout the whole process. A couple months before our wedding Jimmy let us know that he may not be available on our date because he was having a baby, and so the final week before our wedding we had to work with someone else. I was a little nervous, especially since that final week is the most important in the planning process but to our luck, the girl stepping in for Jimmy was amazing! She really took care of our every request and especially on the wedding day she went above and beyond. I did not have to worry about a single thing. The food was excellent as well, our guests loved their dinner. The only thing I would warn couples about is to stay away from Lezza Spumoni bakery, which is the bakery the hotel works with for the wedding cakes. If you get your cake from elsewhere they will charge you a dollar per slice, but it may be worth it. Our cake tasted great, but it arrived with some cracks in the icing. I asked for a very clean and simple design for our three-tier cake because my florist was going to go ahead and decorate the cake with fresh flowers. If it weren't for my excellent florist (Lavender Fields Flowers & Decor, call her!!) I would have been very upset. A cracked wedding cake would have been a total disaster!!! Otherwise, the Hyatt Lodge was lovely and we got amazing photos! Check it out, the grounds and the ballroom will win you over!

I really loved our wedding in the Prairie Ballroom at Hyatt Lodge. Sigita, Megan, and the whole staff were so wonderful to work with throughout the entire planning process. I really wanted a space that did not look like a typical ballroom or banquet hall and the Prairie Ballroom is just that. The floor to ceiling windows surrounded by lush green made the space feel very unique. Sigita and Megan were helpful during the planning and offered advice and suggestions with choosing our menu and the layout of our reception. The day of the entire staff was so lovely. Megan greeted us when we arrived and offered us a private space where apps and drinks were brought and we could have a quiet moment. It offered me a chance to bustle my dress and do touch ups as well. We were well taken care off all night with the staff checking if we wanted another drink and making sure we got to try the apps. We chef even brought out meal out to us personally. All the guest loved the food and commended on how beautiful the space was. Highly recommend!

My husband and I truly couldn't be happier with our wedding venue choice! The Hyatt Lodge exceeded all of my expectations. Our wedding was on August 24, 2019 and the grounds were absolutely beautiful. We had our ceremony/cocktail hour outside and it was perfect. The Grand Oaks Pavilion is such a beautiful room with the floor to ceiling windows. EVERY single staff member in the hotel was INCREDIBLE!! I couldn't believe how formal and professional the staff was during our reception. They were so attentive to everyone's need. Cheryl, the banquet head, and the waiting staff made sure we had our own hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour and made sure the bride and groom were comfortable during dinner and continuously checked on us. The food was OUTSTANDING, especially the prime rib! The McDonald Hamburgers for a late night snack are a must! They were delicious and were a hit with the guests! Sigita and Megan were very helpful with the planning process when living out of state! Couldn’t be happier! Thank you for making our day so special <3

Ditto to all the 5 star reviews! Our wedding was outstanding! We selected the Prairie Ballroom with cocktails on the Dock Terrace. Awesome food, beautiful venue, professional, caring staff attending to every detail. We worked with Tricia. She was fantastic. She personally made sure that everything ran smoothly. I can't say enough positive things about this venue and event team. Judith was also fantastic--in charge of the banquets that day. I felt like I was working with family. Everyone was very friendly and highly professional. Book here with confidence and set any worry aside. It will be amazing and your guests will be impressed.

Sigita and Megan were absolutely wonderful to work with. They were so professional and made sure that the day went seamless. The timeline was great and they had plan bs for everything. Highly recommend this venue.

My husband and I absolutely LOVED having our wedding at the Hyatt Lodge! A friend recommended that we check it out because we wanted to have our ceremony indoors, but somewhere with lots of windows so that it felt outdoors. Both of their banquet spaces are absolutely beautiful! We had our ceremony and reception in the Prairie Ballroom because our guest count didn't fit in the other one, but we loved being in Prairie. Everything was so beautiful! It's hard to even put into words how happy we were with everything. Jimmy was so wonderful to work with throughout the whole time! We also loved working with our banquet captain Kelly for our tasting and on the day of. We did have a slight hiccup with the hotel block and some lack of communication when there was a personnel change with our reservation coordinator. Jimmy was understanding of our frustrations though and worked with us to resolve everything. Everything went smoothly the day of and Jimmy was so great at dealing with our overly involved parents (all four of them). Of course the venue is beautiful, but having Jimmy as our coordinator there was everything! We would recommend working with Hyatt Lodge just for him!

We had looked at 15 venues before landing on the Hyatt Lodge and I believe it was the luckiest find ever. From the minute we met Tricia Marella to the tasting, to the day after our wedding, everything ran smoothly. The venue is stunning with all its greenery and architecture- our wedding last minute had to be moved indoors because of weather nonetheless it was PERFECT. Tricia herself is amazing. She is so efficient, responds immediately to every concern and finds a solution to everything. The food tasted great. Planning a wedding has been 100% transparent and just so fun honestly. The ENTIRE staff is so pleasant and kind as well. Im going to miss them all !

My husband and I are so thankful that we chose Hyatt at McDonald's Campus to be our ceremony and reception venue. The location is beautiful with its surrounding nature. The Grand Oaks Pavilion, where we had our reception, was a gorgeous setting for our reception with its lighting and floor-length windows. Everyone was professional and helpful on our wedding day. Our guests had so many positive things to say about this venue!

My husband and I really struggled to find a place that we both loved, the hyatt lodge was the perfect blend of elegant and relaxed. The staff from start to finish was a joy to work with and they made the process so smooth and easy. If you are looking for a place that takes the stress out of wedding planning this is your place. I can't say thank you enough to Sigita and her team for making my wedding day beyond special.

My husband and I got married yesterday at the Hyatt Lodge in the Grand Oaks Pavilion. EVERY single worker, from the front desk, to coordinators for the wedding - Sigita and Kelsey - to the phenomenal cooks with amazing food, to the set-up crew, servers during the wedding, bartenders, and reception captain -Kelly. EVERYONE was incredible!!!! They all exceeded our expectations and will definitely recommend all brides to look into this place to have a beautiful wedding. They made sure I was taken care of in the morning getting ready, timely on absolutely all wedding planning throughout the day, delivered a platter of food for us, made sure the bride and groom were eating or satisfied with our dinner, and let the bride soak in all of her decorations before guests were seated for the ceremony/reception. They definitely made this experience unforgettable and an AMAZING wedding for us! Thank you SO much! 💗

The Hyatt Lodge is the perfect wedding venue. All our wedding photos were taken on the beautiful property and they turned out gorgeous. I worked mainly with Leslie and she was fantastic. She made the whole wedding process enjoyable. She was so patient and honest. Leslie took the time to answer all my questions and helped my vision come alive. During our wedding weekend the entire Hyatt staff was accommodating and went above and beyond to make our special day beyond memorable.

We had our reception in the Prairie Ballroom on November 5th. I don't even know where to begin - it truly was the best day of our lives! From the beginning, Sigita (who I was primarily in contact with, along with Kelsey) was responsive to emails/calls, accommodating, and always friendly. There are so many decisions to be made and it's clear that Sigita knows her stuff! She was incredibly helpful offering advice and suggestions based on her experience. The day of the wedding, everything went off without a hitch! Since we used the Prairie Ballroom, we had our cocktail hour in the lobby just outside the ballroom. The space was perfect – plenty of space for guests to mingle and beautiful views of the changing trees. During the cocktail hour, my husband and I had a server that made a point to seek us out to ensure we were able to get some appetizers. Also, our captain for the night made sure we always had something to drink – there was no way we could have gone hungry or thirsty! Every person on the staff was SO friendly and professional. Several guests mentioned what a nice touch it was when they entered the ballroom. The wait staff was lined up on the dance floor smiling at all our guests, which made everyone feel very welcome. The food was incredible and we received many compliments and comments that it was the best wedding food they have ever had! Also, we had a handful of guests with very strict dietary needs and the Hyatt Lodge was able to provide a delicious meal for each of them. Actually, some of the other guests at those tables wanted one of the “special request” meals because they looked so good! Everything flowed seamlessly and on-time from cocktail hour, to dinner, to dessert, to dancing. Later in the evening, we had cheeseburgers and milkshake shooters for our guests, which were a HUGE hit! As the evening began to wind down, the staff did an excellent job of starting to pack table decorations up without making anyone feel rushed. I have been to other weddings where the staff is frantically packing things up and then waiting in anticipation of everyone leaving. This was NOT the case at the Hyatt Lodge! Overall, we felt so welcome and taken care of which just added to the evening. On top of being an incredible venue inside, the grounds of the Hyatt Lodge are equally great! We got some stunning pictures near the pond/lake and back in the “wooded” sections! I have seen the grounds during each season and I think it’s safe to say there are great photo opportunities no matter the season! We are thrilled with how the evening went and are so happy we chose the Hyatt Lodge for our wedding reception. The entire experience from start to finish was great and everything turned out better than we imagined! We would whole-heartedly recommend the Hyatt Lodge to anyone who is on the hunt for a wedding venue! Thank you to everyone at the Hyatt Lodge for such a great evening!!!

We had our ceremony and reception at the Hyatt Lodge in October and it was amazing! I would highly recommend having your wedding here. Once I walked into the Grand Oaks Pavilion I knew that was the room. Sigita and her team are amazing. We worked with her and Kelsey and they were both very easy to work with and were always available to answer any questions or to go over details. The day of the wedding I made some small changes to the layout for cocktail hour and the Hyatt was more than accommodating. Our guests still comment on how beautiful the hotel and grounds were and how delicious the food was. They also loving having cheeseburgers as a late night snack.

I am writing two separate reviews for the Hyatt Lodge because I feel that my wedding experience was drastically different depending on who I was working with. This review is for Leslie, who if you have the chance to work with, is just amazing! Leslie from start to finish really cared about making our wedding day special and truly did everything she could to make sure you got everything you could possible want even if it meant more work for her. There were many times when I had special requests for food, setup, sparklers, and she always found a way to make it happen if she could. She is super patient and willing to work with you and no detail is too small. Though this may not be important to some, for those who care about knowing what to expect and details, Leslie is the best. She was always very honest and friendly and I would recommend her to anyone.

I could probably write volumes about how spectacular the hotel was as our wedding venue. Absolutely everything was thought out and executed with perfection. Even down to the wedding cake - the topper was positioned towards the doors when guests arrived, and then was rotated when guests were seated for dinner! Who even would have thought of that?! My husband and I felt pampered the entire day. Servers were following us making sure we got hors d'ouvers, drinks, and that we ate our meal. Our guests raved about the service, the food was amazing, cake was INSANELY gorgeous and delicious. Yes, it is pricey, but you get what you pay for. And not only that, you feel that your business is truly appreciated.

I had my nails, makeup, and hair done at the Midtown Spa. It was wonderful! Jovi & Patty were great to work with. It was a bit of an unusual set up because there is only one room for beauty. Makeup is done in the locker room because of lighting. That part is a bit odd, but Jovi & Patty's skills were excellent!

I can't rave enough about the Hyatt Lodge. Sigita and Leslie, our event planners, were miracle workers and Cheryl, our food captain, was incredible. From start to finish, the event was elegant and I felt like the most important bride they've ever had. It is a bit pricy but you ABSOLUTELY get what you pay for! It is classy and elegant and our guests couldn't stop raving about it. We had our ceremony outside on the Grassy Knoll and as I was walking down the aisle, I couldn't stop staring at how gorgeous the setup was. Our reception was in the Grand Oaks Pavillion and our guests were blown away by how romantic it was. The floor to ceiling windows created a classy and elegant look and I felt like I was in a fairytale. Having our wedding at this location was one of the best decisions my (now!) husband and I have made and I can't wait to recommend it to all my girls getting married in the area soon!

If you want the best, this is it! I felt like a princess on my wedding day. The waitstaff at the Hyatt were AMAZING! They kept coming up to me and handing me appetizers to make sure I was eating. The few times I had to go to the bar (they were very good at watching when I needed something to drink and bringing it up to me without me even asking) I walked up and they already knew what I wanted. They were so attentive to both me and my guests. As the guests walked in all the servers stood lined up in black with white cloths hanging from their arms. My guests said they felt like they were in a movie. It was a nice touch. Sure the venue is a little pricey, but it is totally worth it and I would do it again in a heartbeat. Cheeseburgers as a late night snack at the end were a HUGE hit! The guests loved them!

We had both our ceremony and reception in the Grand Oaks Pavilion. Our cocktail hour was in the Grand Oaks Pavilion foyer. It was perfect and exactly what we imagined. The hyatt really knows how to throw a wedding. We worked with multiple wedding coordinators but mainly Lauren, Tracy and Kelly. They all went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was exactly as we wanted. Whenever we asked or requested something they made sure to make it work. The food was also excellent and we got multiple compliments on it. We also had our rehearsal and morning after brunch at the Hyatt in the Q room. The food and attention to detail was great. They even placed pink napkins on the tables (we had pink napkins at the reception). It was little touches like that, that we really appreciated. I highly recommend Hyatt Lodge for your wedding venue!

We had our wedding reception here on June 21st and I could not be more pleased with how everything turned out. We are still getting compliments on the food and the venue from our guests. Working with Leslie and Sigita was such a pleasure. They were always there to answer my questions or give us suggestions on things. They were so helpful and made the planning process such a breeze. The days leading up to the wedding I was a basket case (as many brides are) but I knew I did not have to worry about anything when I handed everything over to Leslie and Sigita. When I walked into the Grand Oaks Pavilion before our reception I was blown away. It was BEAUTIFUL! The lighting, tables, everything. It was exactly what my husband and I wanted for our reception. And the grounds of the Lodge are beautiful also. My husband and I and our bridal party took all of our photos there. When it was all filled in with the trees and the flowers, it looked amazing. I can't say enough about the Hyatt staff either. First, one of the servers was following us around with champagne and a tray of hors d'oeuvres when we were taking our photos during the cocktail reception. Amazing. We were STARVING. Our Captain (I think her name was Barb) was the most amazing person in the world. At the end of the night when we just wanted to crash, she was carting things up to our room and saving dessert trays for us to take the next day. She went above and beyond her call of duty for us and did it with the best attitude in the world. We cannot thank her enough for all of her help. The food was also amazing. We got compliments on it all night. The service went great also and the cheeseburgers in paradise were a huge hit with the milkshake shooters. Bonus: not many brides and grooms get to actually eat their dinner at their reception because of mingling, photos etc. The amazing staff at the Hyatt saved plates for my husband and I to eat when we had a minute. While everyone was dancing, we had our prime rib dinner, just the two of us. I was so happy they did that because again, we were so hungry!! I am so happy we chose to work with the Hyatt for our wedding reception. It was exactly what my husband and I were looking for in a space and the staff went above and beyond our expectations and just blew us away. We cannot thank them enough for making our wedding day so special. If you are looking for a reception hall, the Hyatt Lodge is your place and Leslie and Sigita are your girls.

Our venue was awesome because our reception hall wasn't just the ballroom, it extended into he lobby (I didn't notice one outsider) so people could mingle or dance and didn't feel awkward if they weren't dancing. My husband and I really enjoyed the more quiet atmosphere to catch up with several people we haven't seen in awhile before we started to party on the dance floor. The burgers were a hit and everyone had a blast!

The Hyatt Lodge was everything I wanted in a wedding venue. Outstanding service- they took care of ALL our needs as well as our MANY out of town wedding guests. Beautiful scenery and location.

This venue was the best wedding venue and people to work with. Whatever we/I wanted I received with no hesitation. They accommodated everything in my plans. Sigita and Leslie were easy to get in touch with throughout the entire process and were there they day of my wedding making sure I was happy and that everything was in order. They made me not worry about one thing at all the entire day. I would recommend this place to future brides! Plus the food was amazing!
