Hyatt Regency La Jolla

We worked with Meredith Van der Walt and I cannot say enough wonderful things about her and her staff. She made the entire process amazing for us. They provided an amazing suite which the girls used to get ready on Saturday and there was more than enough room for myself, my bridal party of 7, my mom, my mother in law, a make up artist and 2 hair dressers. We never felt on top of each other and had plenty of space to even have a few dance parties during the day. The space for the cocktail hour, ceremony and reception were perfect. Hyatt has built these spaces for large events and there was so much already in place that we didn't have to worry about paying extra for which is a relief when you're planning a wedding. The food was amazing, Chef is awesome and during our tasting she did a great job combining things to make sure our beef option and fish option were exactly what we wanted. We got married on pi day (3.14.15) and neither of us like cake so instead we opted to do pies. They were AMAZING. Some of the best pie I've ever had and they rolled out a pie station for our guests to get individualized mason jars of pie for dessert. We knew we wanted pie but the station was all Meredith's idea and we were so happy to have her! The hotel staff was great - from giving out gift bags to our guests as they checked in, friendly bellmen and valet drivers, the maids cleaning up the rose petals my bridesmaids decorated the suite with for the wedding night, they were all great. I honestly loved the fact we got married here and would recommend it to anyone in a heartbeat!
