Your customizable package includes event rentals, top-of-the-line lighting and sound, a wedding suite, and more. The Hyatt was the most amazing place to have our wedding reception. Calix was the most amazing coordinator I could've ever asked for. Throughout my year and a half of planning he answered every question I ever had and made me feel so comfortable and at ease when I was stressed out about the wedding. He took all of my decor and details and direction and set everything up EXACTLY how I had envisioned it was as if I had set up my own reception space. I had so much trust that he would make my wedding what I wanted and I am so happy we had decided to have our wedding with the Hyatt. It was a beautiful hotel and ballroom space, the courtyard was an amazing cocktail hour space and the location was perfect for all of our out of town guests. We did have a handful of hiccups in terms of the hotel room block and the service the front desk was providing but in the end that seemed so minor to the entire event that we hosted. On wedding day I didn't know if anything had went wrong or what was happening behind the scenes and it all turned out so perfect I could not have had a better experience. I know Calix has now transitioned out of the wedding coordinator role but the new coordinator was also on site for our wedding and she was equally as incredible with setting up for our day and I know the Hyatt will continue to host amazing weddings with her in that position. I highly recommend if you are looking for a space for your wedding to contact the Hyatt NOW!

We got married at the Hyatt on May 21st, 2022. I really wanted to write an unbiased review, something that highlighted all the high points as well as the low, but I can't seem to do that. Reason being, there were no low points. I am a very meticulous planner and from the very first time I spoke with Calix, it was very obvious that he would do anything he could to make sure that our specific vision was realized. This included answering what was probably around 200+ emails from me, most of them asking questions he already answered.
Calix's expertise is truly the reason why our wedding was as great as it was. He even was the one that recommended the decor company we went with, which made all the difference as well.
If you are looking to make your day as special as possible, and looking to do it with as little stress as possible, the Calix, and the rest of the Hyatt staff is who you want to work with.
Calix - thank you again for everything. The day could not have been any better than it was. <3

Going through wedding planning during a pandemic and rescheduling your wedding can be very difficult. Having Calix as my go to person for all my updates and questions made me feel so much better. He was always there offering a solution when I had any problem or concern. I would highly reccomend Hyatt Regency Schaumburg soley based off of the employees alone. They were all very polite and professional as well. The rooms were very clean, the lobby is amazing for pictures, and we had so so many compliments on how great the food was and how big the steaks were. Some even said it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding!

I am so glad that we chose to have our wedding at the Hyatt Regency, not just for the looks of the venue itself but because of the staff! Our day went perfectly, and everything exceeded my expectations. Calix, the wedding coordinator, was just an absolute joy to work with and made the planning process seamless. He was so easy to speak to, provided such wonderful guidance and support, and gave us great recommendations for decorators and other outside vendors. Calix really took care of us and helped our wedding flow perfectly. His calming personality really helped with my anxiety while planning our wedding and before our ceremony. The staff at our ceremony and reception were all very attentive and courteous (special shout out to the waitstaff for our head table and John, who made the remainder of our reception run smoothly!). Also, we had so many compliments about our food and cake (made by Oak Mill Bakery, our favorite!). In all, our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception were just perfect, and we could not have asked for anything better. Thank you Calix and Hyatt!

I could not have imagined a better venue to get married in. The Hyatt was recently renovated and we received many compliments of how modern and sleek the ballrooms, lobby, and hotel rooms were. The renovated areas throughout the hotel also made great locations for wedding photos!
Not only was the venue amazing, but the wedding coordinator, Calix, made my wedding everything I wanted and more. I cannot emphasize how much of a difference is it to have someone from Day 1 be by your side to help you plan your day, to the moment he queues you to walk down aisle for your Processional. I trusted Calix from the moment I met him and I loved that he was creative, assertive, and accommodating. I handed him random last-minute decorations, had small detailed questions about the ceremony (i.e. should my father lift the veil then kiss me and shake hand), last-minute table swaps, etc. and he addressed every single thing. Everyone kept complimenting how I was so relaxed throughout the wedding day and I applaud Calix for being the reason. I knew day of that when things do go wrong, he'd handle it and keep it under control.
His staff throughout the night was professional and every aspect was well executed. My husband and I couldn't be happier with our decision with the Hyatt and I hope everyone gets to celebrate their special day here!

The Hyatt exceeded all of our expectations for our wedding! We worked with Calix, and he was absolutely wonderful in helping us put together our dream wedding. My husband and I had 2 different ceremonies (Hindu and Christian) and the entire celebration was a multiple-day affair, so we were asking a lot of Calix and the Hyatt. We certainly weren't the easiest clients to work with with all of our requirements, but Calix made sure everything ran smoothly! It was the perfect weekend, and our guests and nothing but great things to say about the hotel. Beautiful venue, great service, and the added bonus of the attached restaurant and in-hotel bar were perfect for a cold November wedding :)

As soon as we met with the coordinator at the Hyatt, we knew we wanted to have our reception there! The venue is absolutely stunning. Most importantly, their event coordinator. Calix was so accommodating, professional, and made sure everything was going smoothly during the planning, during the event and even followed up afterwards. Even with last minute changes, the wedding was executed amazingly on their end. He and the staff ensured all our guests were enjoying their time and that everything came together perfectly. The setup was exactly as we wanted.The evening was perfect. The food was AMAZING! Thank you for making our big day stress free and absolutely beautiful!

Wish we could give two separate reviews, one for the hotel staff and one for the staff who contributed to an amazing wedding.
The Fantastic and Amazing- Calix Aguilar (the event manager) was very supportive, responsive, and helpful in every way from the day he was hired to the week after our wedding. He took over five months before our wedding and caught up with everything we had already arranged and fixed everything that got messed up by his predecessor. I cannot say enough good things about Calix, he did everything in his power to make sure our day was perfect and it was! I feel a large part of that was because of the hard work he put in!! He is compassionate about his work and it is clear when you work with him! He listens and helps in every way possible!
Every guest we talked to raved about how delicious the food was and it was either the best or top 3 wedding food. The service was wonderful, the staff was very attentive and friendly towards everyone.
The unfortunate bad- The front desk staff was simply okay, frustrating at times. The front desk never provided Calix with one of our deposits, which caused Calix to go find it weeks later. Laura at the front desk was super attentive and great but we did have some complaints from guests about a different staff member being rude.
The room block reservation system through Hyatt (Corporate) was very frustrating as well.
Overall though we had a great experience with the Hyatt Regency Schaumburg and would absolutely recommend it. Once again Calix and the staff at the wedding itself were amazing.

My wedding at the Sapphire Pavilion at the Hyatt Regency Schaumburg was absolutely perfect and it really was my dream wedding come true! Calix Aguilar was great to work with from the beginning - very professional, prompt in responding to my emails and inquiries, and went out of his way to fill in for the day-of coordinator role since I didn't have budget for a wedding planner / coordinator. The Sapphire Pavilion tent at the Hyatt is a hidden gem, and it was the perfect venue for my vision of having an outdoor, organic, nature, rustic reception. The best part was the tent is technically outdoors but it's also fully air conditioned. We took formal bridal party photos down the street at Busse Woods which was beautiful and fit with my nature theme. Thanks for Hyatt for the amazing service throughout the months-long planning process!

Have tried calling on several occasions and emailing in regards to touring the facilities and seeing the package options. Haven't gotten anyone on the phone. It just continuously rings with no option to leave message. When calling the main line for the hotel we are met with confusions. Frustrating...

Suki and the team at the Hyatt were absolutely outstanding. My husband and I do not live in the area and Suki made every effort to ensure that all of our wedding planning could be done via email and phone. With a wedding of 450 guests, Suki and her team went above and beyond to ensure not only the wedding family and party were taken care of but also the guests. The Hyatt did an excellent job meeting us half way with negotiable rates and we couldn’t be happier to have such a beautiful wedding at the Hyatt. The guest rooms, Couple suite, and venue have been renovated to give you a modern classic flare and our decorations went perfectly with the ambiance. Thank you Suki and Schaumburg Hyatt team!!

This venue was the best decision I made for my wedding! I can’t even begin to describe how happy my husband and I are that we chose this place. After looking at 17 venues, we finally decided on this location. We were really lucky that the hotel had finished fully renovating by the time our wedding came around. Everything was new and beautiful! I didn’t have to worry about spending a fortune on decorations because the venue itself is beautiful. The staff was very accommodating and very patient as we had hundreds of guests. We were able to host all 3 days of events at one location. The venue was perfect for us because all of our out of state guests were able to stay at the hotel and take an elevator down to each of the event. The best part of all of this is that Hyatt has an amazing event coordinator. From the beginning, Suki was dedicated to providing us with the best experience. From helping us organize our events to remembering every detail of the event layouts, she made the whole process of planning so much easier. She was able to schedule meetings around my and my husband’s busy work schedules. She also was so quick to reply to the hundred emails I must have sent with random questions and concerns. Being the bride, I was very nervous that things will not go smoothly or will not be setup correctly. However, she was very reassuring and took care of the little details so that I didn’t have to worry about anything and was able to enjoy my big day stress free. Honestly, we could not have chosen a better place for our wedding. Thank you Hyatt for such a beautiful weekend and thank you Suki for helping us put together a memorable wedding.

Nothing but good things to say about everyone at Hyatt Regency for my wedding this past weekend. Suki and Melissa were the best people I could have asked for the assist with making my day so perfect and PERFECT IT WAS. Maybe it was because my wedding was a little over a year long planning process, but at some point I really felt like Melissa (and Suki even though she joined our team later) were looking out for me like they would a friend and special guest not just a "customer." They both really cared so much about making sure that everything was exactly as I and my husband wanted it and they met all those expectations and more! We also had some rather different requests which they also handled excellently to make sure our day went through without a hitch. The guests all really enjoyed their rooms and they were reasonably priced. Check in and out went smoothly for everyone. We also had our rehearsal dinner here the night before the wedding because we just loved working with everyone so much and we knew we were going to be taken care of. You will not find better people or better team to work with for the entire process from decorations, the floor diagram, food, catering, EVERYTHING. They are awesome and really put in the effort to make sure you get what you want and are happy. Our wedding was in Mahogany Ballroom and the rehearsal (as well as cocktail hour) in Cyan room and both were beautiful. For any party/celebration, definitely consider the Hyatt Regency Schaumburg and let them make your dreams come true and your day that much more special.

We had our wedding in the sapphire pavilion this September, and it was wonderful!! Suki and the entire wedding team were incredible and helped every step of the way. Our reception was absolutely beautiful. It made it so easy to get ready in the huge suits they provided for us on the wedding day! We were very fortunate to have 2 wedding ceremonies and reception dinner/dance at Hyatt Regency Schaumburg. The hotel staff did a great job and were very courteous and accommodating. The remodeled ballroom and Pavilion were beautiful. We were even more fortunate to have Ms Suki Roth as our event coordinator. She is amazing, fantastic, hard working, very helpful, and always available. She listened carefully to all of our requests and planned accordingly. She superbly and smoothly ran the events, even with our very tight schedule. She coordinated with our decorator, caterer, DJ, photographer, and hotel staff, as well as the wedding party and families too. She was there during the entire event and everything went very smoothly. The appetizers we ordered from Hyatt were delicious, and the preferred vendor list was very helpful. We highly recommend Hyatt and Suki especially for your wedding/reception ceremonies and any other events.

Suki and the team at the Hyatt were exceptional. I don't think we could have asked for better partners in hosting our wedding. They were tremendously flexible and understanding regarding our religious rituals and ceremonies. The pricing was very fair and they did a great job in presenting everything up front. The front desk, especially Vijay were tremendous -- considering there were a 100 people with the same last name -- they did a tremendous job of accommodating our group. We would highly recommend this venue and are happy to serve as referrals. The hotel is beautifully renovated, and once the rooms are complete in 2018 - I don't think there will be a better venue out there.

At the beginning, we went through three new coordinators. A lot of information was lost or miscommunicated between the old and new coordinators. After all this stress, they truly took care of us to the best of their ability. The wedding night was PERFECT! We got so many compliments on the food and ballroom. Highly suggest!

No words can explain how happy my husband and I are with choosing Hyatt for our cocktail and dinner. The staff are very accommodating and courteous, the food was absolutely delicious, and each and every one of our guests complimented the food. And, most especially their wedding coordinator, Lauri. She was absolutely amazing! She is like a family to us, she made sure that everything run smoothly, my husband and i fell in love with her personality and professionalism. Overall, I would definitely recommend Hyatt Regency Schaumburg without any doubt.

I had my wedding reception here on June 1, 2013 and everything was just perfect! Lauri was a fantastic coordinator, I felt like I didn't have to worry about anything. The ballroom was beautiful, the staff was helpful, and I could not have asked for a better day.

I just got married two weeks ago at the Hyatt. Lauri made the whole thing seamless. I didn't worry about a thing. Any questions that came up were answered quickly. The day of the wedding all I did was show up and party with my friends and family! They took care of everything. Great food, great drinks, and a great venue. Thank you for making our day perfect!!

We were impressed from start to finish with the service that we received at the Woodfield Hyatt. Lauri, their coordinator, was just incredible at her job-- very knowledgable, very experienced, and just wonderful to work with. She accommodated every request, helped us out with any problems, and was immediately responsive to every question we had.
They offered us the best price of all of the hotel venues that we looked at, and provided us with more than anywhere else even came CLOSE to. The food was AMAZING (and got RAVE reviews from all of our guests-- something that you rarely hear from a wedding reception!!), the servers, bartenders, and food station attendants were friendly and accommodating, and the "captain" of the room for the event was very attentive and helpful.
Given all of the horror stories that you hear about people's wedding reception issues we'd braced ourselves for some trouble but things truly went off without a hitch. Things that could potentially have become a problem were solved before they even got to that point.
HIGHLY recommend this venue to anyone, for any event!!

I have to say that I was a bit afraid when suddenly the banquet coordinator we started working with left and was replaced. However, Lauri did such a great job at fulfilling every request we made and was so attentive during the reception. The baquet captain, Alberto, was also fantastic. I definetly recommend the Hyatt. Loved the decor and atmosphere of the hotel. The rooms are awesome, and they comped us a great junior suite for our wedding night.

Lauri at the Hyatt was phenomenal to work with! She made us feel like we were her only customers. Our day was perfect, everything went off as planned. We had our ceremony, reception and a brunch here, and everything was amazing! The food was perfect. We are still getting compliments every day about how great the event was. The service in the entire hotel was Aplus! Highly recommend this venue!!

This location was used for our reception and I could not have been happier! Not only was the service great but we were able to get a FREE honeymoon package out of it. Laurie (Wedding Coordinator) was more than just helpful, she was very flexible and accommodated our every need. I recommend this hotel for any special events!

My husband and I got engaged on New Year's Day and quickly decided to try and arrange the wedding that summer - a mere 7 months to plan. But when we decided to use the Hyatt for the reception, I feel as though we could have planned it in a week. Lauri, our catering manager, did an amazing job helping us put together a memorable wedding. She worked with us every step of the way, patiently explaining options, working with our budget, and answering all my questions promptly and thoroughly. She stayed late to accomodate our schedules for our tasting, and even stayed to oversee everything at the wedding itself until well after 10pm. From the cocktails, to the food, to the cake, the Hyatt executed everything flawlessly. I cannot compliment them enought - I would recommend the Hyatt to anyone looking for an elegant and seamless affair.

We chose the Hyatt because their plate costs were not completely ridiculous, but the quality of food and refurbished facilities were excellent.
I have to say, the employees at the Hyatt were simply amazing in their professionalism and care...especially the day of the wedding. There were several last minute, (re: at the reception), food issues that we hadn't though about - groom's slight fruit allergy, bridesmaid's aversion to poultry. The staff whipped up special plates for them with only a half hour notice.
My guests felt taken care of and complimented me for *weeks* about the venue. I would definitely, definitely, definitely recommend them to anyone in the area!

The reception was amazing-everyone LOVED our food, cake and our ice sculpture! The cocktail hour was inside in the lobby- it was awesome! We just had a great experience. We worked with Melissa Nilson and she was really great, too.
