Rachel made my feel so special ! During the appointment she closed the store down just for me, and had an awesome sign welcoming me specifically. The building is beautiful and she has a great selection of dresses. I have a very short window to find a dress, but Rachel made it happen!

I was welcomed into the store with a personal welcome sign. I loved this touch because it made me feel special instead of just another bride. The staff was so nice and wonderful and really took into consideration what I was interested and kept within our budget. The decor and dressing room are so beautiful with a vintage touch that makes the store feel welcoming and homey. I’m so glad I found my dress there.

I can’t even begin to express how positive my experience was with ivory and lace. Rachel was so knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. She allowed me to try on as many dresses as I wanted and was very patient with me when it came to deciding on my dress. Rachel and her mom helped me design a custom over skirt to wear for my ceremony and remove for my reception, they really made my vision come to life! Their customer service is top notch and would recommend them to anyone!

I can't say enough good things about this bridal shop! Rachel is AMAZING! This was my very first bridal experience and she made it so memorable. It pains me that I didn't find the gown here, but even if you have to travel here, it is worth it! I loved the experience and they made me feel like they cared about me and finding the right gown. I love shopping local and was so glad I was able to find the dress of my dreams at I&L! Ivory and Lace is a one of a kind, unique experience. When I went for my dress appointment, they made sure to really talk with me about what I was looking for in a dress. While looking, Rachel pulled a couple of dresses and my dream dress ended up being one of her picks! She made me feel at ease and answered any and all questions that I had. I went to some of the larger bridal shops in Kansas City and couldn't find anything that matched my style in my price range or a connection to "the" dress. Then, I stumbled upon Ivory and Lace. I went in and immediately realized this was where I would find my dress. They were personable, never pushed a single thing, and almost immediately I had three dresses that I loved. I am so happy I found them!

I couldn’t have picked a better place to pick out my wedding dress! The staff was attentive and sweet from start to finish, our group had the entire store to ourselves, and no one tried to push anything on me that I didn’t want. This was the first and only place I looked at dresses, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision!

First time we visited Ivory and Lace was just to see and get ideas for my sister's wedding. Without an appointment the receptionist showed us around and showed my sister dresses in the styles she liked. My sister loved the dresses so much we made an appointment to try on dresses. Rachael the owner was there and was the one who handled my sister's appoinment. Rachael is so professional and really wants to help the bride and family for their special day. She only asked my sister a few questions where she is getting married, when, and her favorite style of dresses. She literally pulled three dresses, by the second dress we were all in tears. She picked the perfect dress for my sister and is even working with her with her layaway program since my sister's wedding isn't til 2020 so my sister can have her dream dress for her wedding. 10,000 out of 10 stars for Rachael and her team, we couldn't be happier!!!

Rachel and her staff at Ivory and Lace greet you with a warm midwestern welcome the moment you walk into their store. They are experts in their craft and match you with the dress of your dreams (and budget). They personize your visit and tailor your experience to you. During my first visit, my guests and I were greeted with mimosas and yummy cupcakes. I tried on, maybe, 4-5 dresses before saying “yes” to the perfect ivory and lace, key hole back dress. I swayed between 2 dresses and they happily helped me try on both a second time. I am a plus-size bride; I was able to try on styles in the shop but I did have to order my size. My dress quickly came in and I was fitted by their in-house alterations. By the end, my dress fit like a perfect glove and I am so happy with the way it looked. I couldn’t recommend Ivory and Lace Bridal more! What a memorable experience! Ivory and Lace wows from the moment you walk in the door, and you’re assisted by the most wonderful staff. Rachel and Maggie have a true passion for what they do. It’s understandable why I&L is by appointment only. They want you to have their undivided attention and have the best experience possible, and that was easily accomplished. My bridal party and I had the entire shop to ourselves. I brought a larger party with me, and they were easily able to accommodate us. I tried on as many dresses as I wanted, and they were very patient, wanting to make sure I found the perfect gown. I found a dress I loved, but wanted to make some changes. That was no issue for I&L. Their professional seamstress, Georgia, made my dream gown a reality. I felt so confident and beautiful on my big day, and Ivory and Lace played a huge part in that. I couldn’t imagine a better experience picking out my wedding gown. Thank you, Ivory and Lace, for making this experience so incredible!

Excellent doesn't even begin to to explain my trip to Ivory & Lace. Rachel and her team created a comfortable atmosphere where I felt special and important. They asked all of the right questions to ensure I found a gown I loved. Easily the best part of my trip, once I gave the budget, they didn't pull a single dress above that price range, which is far different from every other salon I went to. After trying on 5 or 6 gowns, I fell in love with one. Rachel and her team helped show me different ways the dress could be accessorized, how the bustle would look, and answered every question I, and my guests, had. While my parents weren't able to make the first trip, Rachel had no issues scheduling a second appointment so my family could see the dress before I ordered it. At that appointment, she again went through countless accessories and answered multiple questions and ensured our happiness and quieted any fears. I always make sure to boast about ivory and lace when I can, and will always send other brides there when possible. Do NOT overlook this boutique, you'll be sure to regret it.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience at Ivory and Lace. I am 5 months pregnant, trying to plan a wedding in less than 2 months, aka, not an ideal bride. However, Rachel was completely understanding and beyond accommodating of my situation. Best of all, I found a beautiful dress that makes me feel beautiful, comfortable and confident, without feeling like I am compromising my dream dress because of my pregnancy. Thank you Ivory & Lace!

This boutique might be a little bit out of the way, but trust me it is worth it. My sister was very indecisive but the staff were very professional and were able to handle her. The focus was entirely on my sister and that was exactly what she needed.

Maggie was so accommodating to schedule my appointment earlier than their normal hours just to squeeze me in. She was very friendly and comforting as well! The shop has so many wonderful gowns and are an affordable price too! Although I did not end up finding my gown here, I would highly recommend this shop!

As soon as I walked through the door, they were so friendly and made me feel so welcome. I cannot say enough how much I loved my experience with Ivory & Lace. After two days of unsuccessful dress shopping around the KC metro, I was feeling a bit defeated. My mom and I both privately wondered if driving out to Warrensburg would even be worth it. Well, the very first dress I tried on at Ivory & Lace ended up being THE ONE! Rachel knew exactly what I was looking for and pulled out the most stunning dress I have ever seen. Rachel and her staff are so much fun and so professional. When you arrive at your appointment you are greeted by a sign with your name on it, making you feel so special. The changing area is beautiful and the "modeling" area makes you feel like you're on a stage. My dress came in several months before my wedding, so my mom picked it up and kept it at her house. I tried it on later and was so distraught to find out that it was too tight! I emailed Rachel and she almost immediately emailed me back to assure me that their seamstress would have no problems with getting it to fit perfectly. I felt good about it after my fitting, but when I went back to pick it up a couple of weeks before my wedding it still wasn't right. They insisted on working on it until it was absolutely perfect and when I tried it on a week before my wedding it was perfect. The shop is so unique in that they specialize in vintage dresses and new vintage-inspired dresses. They even have fur wraps for purchase or rent! I 100% recommend Ivory & Lace to any bride who is looking for a vintage aesthetic for her wedding dress.

I cannot say enough good things about Rachel! When we arrived we were greeted with drinks and cookies/treats, were able to pull dresses ourselves. Rachel listened to exactly what I wanted and was very helpful in succeeding in finding exactly what I wanted. She was absolutely amazing to work with and made every effort to get the dresses to look like they would on me in my size. My sister and cousin both bought their dresses from her also. MY FAVORITE PART! Where to begin... I am tall, like really tall. 6'3" to be exact and when I got engaged, I was kind of dreading finding a dress. Because I am long and nothing ever fits right. So I knew I wanted to look at a smaller shops and just try. Trial and error, if you will. I now live three hours from the Warrensburg area, but wanted to check it out. I called Rachel (the owner) and was so pleased from the very start. Incredibly accommodating, kind and truly has a passion for helping brides find their dress for the wedding day. I tried on quite a few dresses with no intentions of buying a dress that day. Several colors, several styles, lace, beading, etc. I found the one and I knew right away. So many compliments on my dress and so much love for Rachel and her store. I would recommend Ivory and Lace to ANYONE getting married that wants a personal experience and one that will truly make finding your wedding dress the easiest part of your wedding. I have known several who chose Ivory & Lace Bridal Boutique, but this was my first experience as part of the wedding party (Mother of the groom). The store is elegant, and intimate. Rachel is amazing at talking with the bride to get a feel for her 'perfect dress', and then did not disappoint in delivery! It's nice to be catered to, and the bride is the one and only being wooed (not like the big stores where you're just another cow in the herd). The mimosa and cookies were a great touch. Bonus: it's a 'hometown' business... Love that. You're doing a great job Rachel, keep it up!

I heard about Ivory & Lace from a friend who had just bought her dress from there. I felt welcomed from the second I walked through the door. The staff was so helpful and friendly and made me and my crazy family feel at home while I tried on dress after dress. It was a little bit of a drive for us but it was definitely worth it and I found the wedding dress of my dreams.

I chose to visit Ivory and Lace after meeting Rachel at a bridal fair. She was so easy to talk to and convinced me I was ready to look at dresses, even though I had just gotten engaged. I went Ivory and Lace hoping to narrow down styles that I liked, and left in LOVE with more than one dress! I loved all of the unique options they had to offer and knowing that I had purchased a dress that was one of a kind! The staff was so welcoming! As a bride, there was nothing more "eye catching" to me than to see a store as elegant and classy as Ivory and Lace go up in a small town similar to the one I grew up in. After reading Rachel's story about her business I knew it was the perfect match for me. Everything about it fit my style and personality; from having a proud, locally owned business to Rachel having the BEST selection of vintage gowns. My mother, sister, and I made our way from Smithville while my maid of honor drove from Jefferson City to Warrensburg to help me find my jaw-droppin' gown. My experience at Ivory and Lace was more than memorable; It was the most personable experience I've endured during this "wedding planning" process and I recommend them to everyone. :)

I was super nervous to try on wedding dresses for the first time, but after arriving at ivory & lace the nerves didn't last long! Rachel was amazing and made me feel very comfortable! The dresses were all gorgeous making it very difficult to choose a favorite! I recommend this shop to anyone!

I had been to two bridal salons before making the trip to Ivory and Lace and had horrible experiences. I was so excited to meet Rachel. The amazing reviews online had me so worried I'd hyped the place up in my head and was going to be disappointed. I was so wrong. Rachel was amazing. Allowing my family and I to wander the salon selecting our pick of dresses to try, but knowing what I wanted and making sure to steer us in that direction. She was so helpful seeing my vision, helping me sort out my family's opinions, and physically helping me get the dresses on. She even said "I have high hopes for this one" while helping me into what turned out to be THE dress. Her mother is the the seamstress who happened to come by and talk about alterations with me at the end of the appointment. I cannot recommend Ivory and Lace enough. Personal, private, but not one ounce snooty. I can't wait to get back there and start my fittings.

I chose Ivory and Lace because I had seen amazing reviews from fellow brides on social media. Being 40 minutes from my hometown my family could meet me and my Columbia family could travel with me. This was also one of the only places where I wasn't limited to the number of people I could bring. We had the store to ourselves and Rachel put me in every dress herself. It's definitely no generic experience. We also had another person who was working giving me feedback. It was amazing and I truly felt like they cared about helping me find a dress I felt amazing in. I was incredibly happy with my experience at ivory and lace. I had spent the day before at a few different dress shops and was feeling frazzled when I walked into I&L. The girls (Rachel & Maggie) were not only professional and kind but also humorous and encouraging throughout my dress trying on experience. I loved how private my session was and I didn't feel rushed for one minute. After a few long hours of trying on probably 20 dresses (and loving them all) I chose my dream dress. I had tried on dresses from two different locations prior to coming to Ivory & Lace. I was not impressed with the dresses from the other stores and I really wanted something more vintage and elegant. When I walked in the doors I immediately saw MY DRESS!!! Absolutely stunning, lace and satin, in the perfect shade of champagne to compliment my skin tone. I tried on the dress and fell in love. I know my fiancé and was sure it would be something he wouldn't be able to take his eyes off of :) Rachel and her team made sure everything was perfect from start to finish, and even helped me find the perfect vintage dress for the rehearsal dinner. Ivory & Lace Bridal Boutique is where I will send all my friends for their special days because their service and attention to detail is amazing. They have well-known designer gowns but their vintage selections are perfect for the Bride who wants a dress all her own, that no one else in the world will have, and that is exactly what I got. When I walked down the aisle and took my future husbands hands, he had the biggest smile on his face and simply said, "wow." That was just the reaction I was going for! What a great place to shop for wedding gown for your day! The staff was impeccable, very client friendly, helpful, even had champagne glasses for the champagne we brought. Rachel just made us feel so comfortable and at home. The selection was amazing, and they've been wonderful since we step into their lovely boutique.

The most wonderful experience I had when dress shopping, they greeted me with a hand drawn sign at the front with my name on it, we were given refreshments, and they had the most beautiful gowns I've ever seen for an amazing price, I believe they don't go higher than 2,000$ which for a gown is a fantastic price, then once I had bought my gown, they took amazing care of me and my dress and their alterations were done extremely well. I would recommend them to absolutely everyone.

So what is left to be said, that hasn't already been said. I am the mother of the bride and found our experience to be what we hoped to experience and then some! Rachel and Georgia were exceptional hosts! We were thrilled the whole time we were there and time flew by for sure! We dabbled in new, vintage and even re-purposing my 80's dress! There are so many options to choose from. We ended up purchasing on the spot when THE dress was found! Wow, what an incredible experience to have!!! Once in a lifetime for sure! We have the outmost faith in both Rachel and Georgia in their expertise in all endeavors. We will be purchasing bridesmaids dresses there soon. This was a total perfect fit for us and I am sure it will be for others as well!
