I was in Minneapolis for only a day and had to visit 3 bridal shops and pick my dress. This was my last shop of the day, and I definitely picked the best for last. Going into this appointment, I was already in love with Colby John's canvas collection because I wanted a more minimal style gown. Ilissa was an amazing stylist and helped me feel my best. She picked gorgeous gowns and I fell in love with the Marley gown. All dresses from this designer are custom made, so you are able to choose a different size top than bottom if you get a fitted dress. My dress was A-line, so I did not need to do this, but having the option is amazing. The staff was so helpful when I picked it up and helped me order a veil to match! I bought a package as well so they will clean it and box it after my wedding in November. Really cannot recommend this shop enough.

Great customer service! My dress got damaged during dry cleaning and ivory bridal immediately stepped up to solve the problem. They personally called the designer to get me a new dress. Unfortunately, I declined that generous offer because my seamstress already started fixing my dresses. Therefore, instead of getting me a new dress they paid for my alterations. I absolutely love ivory bridal and all the staff members! Highly recommend attending the sample sale & getting a unique veil from ivory bridal.

Had a great experience with Diamond Bride! My consultant, Kristy helped me figure out what looks best on my body and pulled items I wouldn’t have thought of but loved. Wedding dress shopping can be overwhelming but Kristy was amazing at listening to what I liked and didn’t like. You want to feel special/beautiful on your wedding day and the experience I had looking for a dress at Diamond Bride will make me feel just that! I would recommend them to future brides!

I think their in-house alterations lady is the real MVP. I definitely talked and worked with her more than anyone else in the store and she was great! She told it like it was while also listening to your wants and needs when it came to alterations. Trying on dresses was also a good experience. Dresses are a little over priced and I did spend more than I was planning on, but I did love my dress so wouldn’t change a thing looking back

My experience with Diamond Bride was truly amazing! While all of the staff we interacted with was kind and attentive, I really want to call out my sales consultant, Mikayla, because she was phenomenal. She listened when I gave feedback after each dress I tried on, and was extremely kind and patient with us as we went over our allotted appointment time. While I was confident I had found my dress, I had one more appointment that day and wanted to be absolutely sure. She completely understood, did not push me to skip that appointment and buy the dress immediately, and also waited at the store until closing, even though she was done with appointments early, for me to come back after my second dress appointment. After purchasing my dress she continued to be attentive and extremely helpful, making sure I got my alteration appointments scheduled and helping pick out bridesmaid dresses. She truly went above and beyond and I am so thankful for that. The dresses that Colby John designs are truly stunning, and you won't find anything like them anywhere else. I highly recommend any bride-to-be to make an appointment with this shop, you won't be disappointed!!

Helped me to design the dress of my dreams. Their seamstress was magical in making everything fit just right.

I can't give them enough stars! I actually didn't buy my dress from them, but I got my accessories and my alterations there. Because not many tiaras are kept in stock, Colby sat down and talked me through all my options online so I could order with confidence and I was thrilled with what we decided on. My alterations experience was even better. My dress needed everything but the length altered. Bustle, sleeves, waist, you name it. Their seamstress made me feel like family and I never had any doubts that she would make my dress fit perfect and she absolutely hit it out of the park. They were also very up front about the prices and one of the few vendors that I didn't feel like they tacked on extra costs that I wasn't expecting.

I was dreading wedding dress shopping. I’m a size 14 and was worried about not fitting into samples. Diamond was the 2nd place we went and I had no intention of buying a dress that day (my mom wasn’t with, it was just my sister and me). Kristi was my consultant and she instantly made me feel comfortable. I ended up ordering a custom Colby John design that day. Colby was there and talked me through all the changes as I was taking a top from one dress and a skirt from another and changing some colors too. It was flawless and surprisingly affordable. My dress came 6 weeks later than initially communicated and the factory had used the wrong fabric on the bodice. However, because the Diamond staff is so amazing and went above and beyond to make sure my dress was perfect for me, it more than made up for it so I didn’t take any points away. I also purchased my belt and veil here.

Colby & staff are hands down the best! I found my dress day one with the gorgeous Bishop dress. All of them were so personable and felt like they really cared and wanted you to have a great experience. Highly recommend to anyone going dress shopping as I went to other shops and was not impressed by the get in and get out atmosphere they gave off. Thank you!!

I had a great experience shopping for my wedding dress here, I didn't have a lot of time between the appointment and our wedding (3 months) and everyone was very helpful and understanding of that. Colby was there every step of the way to make sure things were going well and his opinion was very much appreciated. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Colby and his team are amazing at what they do! Two of my friends used Diamond Bride for their bridal and bridesmaid dresses and although I live out of state, I knew as soon as I got engaged that I wanted to use Diamond Bride as well. Colby took his time discussing styles I liked and having me try on dresses that were both in and out of my comfort zone to help me feel absolutely gorgeous and confident in the dress I chose. He did the same for my bridesmaids and also went the extra step to help us make decisions surrounding jewelry, suit colors, flowers and decor. Colby is incredible and you will not regret working with him and his team!

Not only did you have such a welcoming personality and was always right there watching from a distance, you came and put that last final touch at the end to spark the dress and me in it (which made us all cry ) lol thankks!! You and Tyler who is also theee best and helped me from beginning to end as well, handled me and my crazy, but lovely, goofy, and supporting family during the whole process so well ❤️ Everyone at Diamond Bride are all so patient, inspiring, friendly, fun, and supportive! Diamond Bride made wedding dress shopping simple. They were not pushy and made sure the dresses I tried on were exactly what I was asking for. As an out of state bride they were able to make sure all of my fittings were scheduled around my tips up to Minnesota. Colby and Mikayla made this a magical experience and I felt like a princess in my Colby John Bridal dress. I would highly recommend this shop!

Great experience purchasing my dress as this was a super anxious thing for me. Galina did my alterations - and she is a magician! My dress fit me like a glove and she did SO much work with the lace. I truly felt like a princess and have never felt so beautiful. The shop is not your traditional “trendy boutique” but their customer service and unique dresses make it worth it! I just dropped my dress off for their preservation service and it is by far the most affordable I have seen! Trust me this place is a hidden treasure!

Diamond Bride is the ONLY place you’ll have to go to get your dress! Colby and Kristy are absolutely fabulous - having the actual designer there makes you feel so special and beautiful! This was the 3rd dress shop we went to and seeing how well they took care of me, having my actual size in store to try on (rather than 4 sizes too big in everything like the other places), and having styles I actually preferred and showed them (which the other places didn’t, all I wanted was sheath), I had no idea this was how a bridal fitting was supposed to go! My wedding is in 3.5 months which from the other places I was met with discouraging words but not here, it was no issue at all. Every time I mentioned something about how I would prefer the dress to be slightly different, Colby immediately stated that it could be changed and designed to my liking. Once he “jacked me up” with a veil, I had tears in my eyes and I officially knew this was my dress! I walked out with my dress and veil that day. Seriously, this place is the bees knees, don’t waste your time anywhere else 💕

The team at Diamond Bride is one of a kind. They truly care about helping you bring your vision to life. From the first time I walked inside “just to look” I could feel how passionate they all are about making brides happy and helping them find “the one”! As gown designer and store owner, Colby is great at showing you where modifications can be made to fit your personality. Tyler is very bride-centric, positive, and patient, making the whole experience so much fun. As a people-pleaser, I struggled to find a balance between a modern gown that would make me happy and a gown my more traditional family would approve. Diamond Bride was very, very accommodating and understanding when I returned the store to make my final purchase. The made the whole process easier than expected and I can finally relax knowing that I purchased a dress that truly felt like what I had hoped for. I purchased my wedding dress and veil from Diamond Bride in September 2017 for my September 2018 wedding. Joey was my consultant and I also had Michaela help with one of my bridesmaids' dresses. They were professional, kind and made me/my family feel at ease, never pressured us to buy. Colby was awesome too, he was about the height of my groom so I practiced slow dancing with him! I would definitely recommend Diamond Bride for trying on dresses and purchasing from them, however I wish I would have gone elsewhere for alterations (my appointments always started 15-30 minutes late).

I had a great experience ordering an attendant's dress at Diamond Bride a couple of years ago and knew I wanted to look for my wedding dress there when the time came. I worked with Karen, and she listened to what I was looking for and then pulled several dresses for me to try. She was very patient the entire time I was there and did not pressure me into buying a specific dress. When my dress arrived I was able to go try it on right away, and Mikayla was super helpful when I picked out my veil. She even took pictures for me so I could show my mom and sister who weren't able to be there. Diamond Bride kept my dress and veil safe until it was time for alterations. I had Som do my alterations, and she did a fantastic job! My bridesmaids also had great experiences finding their dresses. Diamond Bride let us go through books of designers' dress styles and colors, and my bridesmaids were able to try on several dresses. The dresses came on time, and Diamond Bride was flexible on pick-up times. I took my dress back to Diamond Bride after my wedding, and they sent it to be cleaned and preserved for me. The staff at Diamond Bride was always super friendly, and I always had great experiences there! If I need a dress for another formal occasion Diamond Bride will be my first stop!

Every employee is very helpful and pleasant. They were willing to work with my bridesmaids from out of state to make sure they got the right dress and size. They were also very helpful in shipping me my bridal gown out of state to complete the dress fittings. Everything was perfect and the dress was a stunner.

Good experience looking for a dress. Colby is extremely talented and I loved working with him and Carrie. Alterations were also done to my liking. The only reason I give 4 stars is because alterations and even pressing the dress when completed are extra. I know some salons cover this with the dress fee, but this pushed me out of my budget a bit.

I had found the dress of my dreams at a completely different shop, but the problem was it was way out of my price range. I showed it to the owner and designer, Colby, and he told me that was such an easy design, he could do it in a day and would be way more affordable. I didn't end up having my dress custom made, but the service of Colby and how above and beyond he went to make my experience, I had him purchase a dress for me that I'd found at a different shop. Just because he was that great. He also let me design my own bridesmaids dresses that are exactly how I wanted them. I couldn't recommend Diamond Bride more!

My friend referred me here because she had a wonderful experience. I saw their booth at Unveiled, so I decided to try on dresses. I was planning on just going and getting ideas, but I was working with Colby and he showed me the most perfect dress. Everyone there made me feel special and really cared about what I was looking for. I could not be happier with my wedding dress buying experience. I also loved they it was within my budget. I will refer anyone I know looking for a wedding dress that this is the place to go.

After trying to find my dress at several other places and not finding the magical one I found this place. Colby was the one who help me out and I found a dress on my first trip. Went home I decided I might not get the right one called them and they put everything on hold. I went to the store again try to more dresses and found the perfect dress. I couldn’t of asked for a better experience. I don’t know if I’ll get my dress altered here because I haven’t heard any reviews but I am going to check it out and see pricing. If anybody leaves A review about the alterations I’m hoping to see it

The ladies I worked with at Diamond Bride definitely did not fail in meeting and exceeding my expectations in every way. Everyone there was so nice; Karen listened to what I like and didn't like in a dress and pulled exactly what I was looking for. I ended up buying the 4th dress I tried on. They also made sure to stay within the budget I had set which is a huge plus for me. I would recommend this store to anyone who asks, I had an amazing experience!

After visiting four other bridal boutiques and having one bad experience, Diamond Bridal was a refreshing change. I came with my mom and mother in law and were helped by Colby, who was so great to work with. He helped pick out dresses that I was interested in and if I didn't like something on a particular dress, he knew exactly and went back through to find more for me. The majority of the dresses I tried on were his design, which were exactly what I was looking for. We lucked out that there was a trunk show that day for his line, as it was quite a bit higher than my budget of $1k, but he was very conscientious and respectful of this. I did end up spending $1,300, but with how great Colby and his employees were to work with, I felt more than comfortable and if you buy your dress, bridesmaids, suits and MOB dresses are around 10-15% off. Hands down the best experience, best variety of dresses and recommend starting at this boutique before anywhere else. Also, if you purchase one of Colby's designs, he doesn't sell anywhere else that is less than 800 miles away, so you know you're getting one of a kind.

The first dress I tried on here I fell in love with and loved working with Makayla! They have beautiful dresses. My bridesmaids got their dresses here as well and was a little disappointed in that area but it all worked out and in the end were happy with our choices.

Carrie and Colby were FANTASTIC!!Honestly I am not a dress person and didn’t enjoy my experience service wise and dress wise at the other 3 dress shops I had been too. However at Diamond Bride it completely changed my perspective and I found the dress of my dreams! I couldn’t be happier and never thought I would be this excited about my dress. They had the most unique dresses I had seen before and they cater exactly to your needs.

Went to two different bridal salons prior to my appointment at Diamond Bride, and I can say without a doubt it was the best experience. Carrie made sure she knew exactly what I was looking for, and Colby asked all the right questions to figure out which dress was the one for me. Which was harder than it sounds, because all of Colby's dresses are absolutely stunning! I appreciated the time and effort they put into my appointment. I will be making an appointment for my bridesmaids to get their dresses there as well. Overall, a wonderful experience and I would recommend to anyone in search of a gown!

Custom dress in my budget! I loved everything about my dress and the service from Diamond Bride. I came here first, but wanted to look at two other places and was so disappointing with those. I returned to Diamond Bride with a much clearer vision, and within 30 minutes had picked out a dress, discussed a couple modifications that I wanted made to the dress and left so excited. My dress came in exactly as I had hoped/asked for. Timeline: I ordered at the end of Dec, the dress came in early June. I opted to have my alterations done at a different place, but they do offer in-house alterations.

I used Diamond Bride for some of our bridesmaids dresses. I had no idea before planning our own wedding how difficult finding bridesmaids dresses would be! I felt this was even harder than finding my own bridal gown! I had picked a specific color for our wedding party and then searched online for dress designers that made dresses in that color, then search local bridal shops that carried those designers that had dresses I liked. I had picked out the 3 dress styles for our wedding from another bridal shop, but then got a call a couple days later, saying that 1 of the designer dresses I picked out, they could no longer order. This was really disappointing after I already had everything set up and now had desiccated on this dress, so I now had to find another dress shop that carried this designer. I searched online and found Diamond Bride was the only other bridal shop in the twin cities that carried this designer. I called right away, explained my situation, gave them the dress info over the phone and they were able to get our dresses ordered for our bridesmaids super quickly. Diamond Bride was very easy to work with and saved the day! I would recommend them to anyone shopping for bridesmaids dresses.

I can say with complete confidence that my choice to go with Diamond Bride was the right one. Colby and his staff took care to listen to my vision and ideas for my wedding (and of course, my dress). They ran with it and found a beautiful gown that fits my personality and my budget, something I truly appreciated. I fell in love with this store in the first 5 minutes. I was greeted by Colby and we sat down and talked about what I wanted. I really had no idea so he picked out a few gowns that he thought I might like. Within 20 minutes he had helped me pick out the most beautiful gown that I was so in love with. When we came back to look at bridesmaids dresses, colby had my girls try on different dresses and then drew up a new design that was exactly what I had envisioned and he made sure everyone would look good in the dress. He made the whole experience personal and made sure my vision came true. Everyone else in the store is absolutely amazing as well. They go above and beyond!

I cannot thank Colby and Diamond Bride enough for the wonderful experience I had today. I went dress shopping once before at a well known shop and it was a disater. Colby and Carrie and the other staff members were so helpful and made me feel beautiful. I left the shop today feeling like a million bucks and knowing that my dress was ordered and being custom made just for me. Carrie was so great! The salon just got a makeover and has such a great, small town vibe to it. I would definitely recommend this shop if you are looking for a unique gown as well, as they have some custom options and bridal consultants that have their own bridal creations. Dimaond Bride provided the Wedding Dress, Groom's Tux, Groomsmen Tuxes, and Bridesmaid Dresses. We were incredibly pleased with all of the above. They also are very reasonably priced and carry affordable brands if you are trying to be a budget-conscious bride.

Found the dress of my dreams on the first try!!! I initially made an appointment just to kind of get an idea of what I actually wanted for the big day, but I actually ended up buying my dress the same day!! I got one heck of a discount and I loved that they had their own seamstress that they recommend so I wouldn't need to run around for alterations. They are a small boutique type store, but their selection of dresses is AMAZING!!! Although we did not use the shop for Suit/Tux rental or bridesmaid dresses, they are truly a one stop shop to having everything in one place. Check them out you won't be disappointed...Promise!!

I've had the best experience at Diamond Bride! Excellent customer service and beautiful new space to showcase the beautiful wedding and bridesmaid dresses.

Of three wedding dress stores I went to, my top two favorite dresses were from this one, and I absolutely love the dress I bought! Consultant Katie was awesome. She told us to look around and pull anything we liked, and even took dresses off of the manikins for me to try on. The inventory is smaller since it is a boutique, but they had great options and lots of variety. Make an appointment during the workday! I was the only bride there and felt like me, my mom, and my friend had the whole place to ourselves. Also, since many of the dresses are designed there, they can alter pretty much anything. My dress actually had straps but they are going to convert it to make it strapless and will add a satin belt. Overall a five star experience and I would highly recommend it. Another bonus, since I purchased on my first visit, I get 20% off of accessories, shoes, bridesmaid dresses, veil, etc anytime I come back in! So glad I went even though it was a little out of the way from where I live.

I scheduled an appointment with no expectations on what style of gown I wanted, just an amount that I would be able to pay. They had selected about 5 gowns in my size to help me determine what style I favored. After trying on about 10 dresses, we were able to narrow it down to two. The clerk was able to show me how the seamstress would bustle the dress and what alterations would be options which made deciding between the two easier. After ordering the dress, the store was in contact with me immediately when it arrived.

I received a coupon for my dress which could only be used the day I opened the envelope from a MN bridal show at which I stopped by Diamond Bride's booth. For being a first time bride I also saved money on my veil. I bought my dress 18 months in advance and they let me keep it there. Thank you! It helped ensure my future husband could not get a sneak peek. Like other salons, photos were not allowed to be taken until I said "yes" to a dress. Overall, I would recommend this bridal salon.

I had SUCH an amazing experience at this bridal shop in preparation for my big day in September 2013! From my first appointment where I tried on wedding gowns (which, by the way, mine ended up being the first gown I tried on after only needing to try on a handful!), to choosing bridesmaid dresses and the tuxes, to my alteration appointments, I am so happy that I went here.
