We absolutely loved working with Jaclyn and Gina for our wedding day in September! We hired Two Little Birds for day-of coordination, and from the moment Jaclyn joined us at our final venue walk through, we knew we had the right person in the room taking care of us.
Jaclyn is incredibly organized, detail-oriented, and personable. We were comfortable with her immediately. During our initial venue walk through, Jaclyn had an existing rapport with our venue contact and asked all the right questions we didn’t even think to ask. It was clear she and her team have done this a thousand times, and we knew we could trust her absolutely.
Jaclyn took the stress out of the weeks leading up to our wedding day — seamlessly taking all over wedding communication, coordinating closely with our photographer and florist, and checking in with us regularly to make sure we had everything we needed.
Jaclyn and Gina took such good care of us on our wedding day with incredible professionalism and ease. They tackled so many tasks big and small (directing our ceremony, facilitating the father-daughter first look, giving me tissues during the first look, helping me bustle my dress several times, putting together gift bags, and more). There are likely more than a hundred little things they helped us with that we can’t even name, because they just took care of them. It really felt like Jaclyn was the best movie director, guiding us through all the moments and making everything easy, so we could just focus on having fun.

She always knew just what to say to calm any of our nerves and help us make the perfect decision for us. Her monthly check-lists kept us ahead of schedule and her vendor recommendations were spot on! Not only was she unbelievably helpful with the planning leading up to the big day, but she was absolutely amazing on the day of the wedding! I can’t say enough positive things about Jaclyn and her team. They were my life savers not only on the wedding day but during the 2 months leading up to the big day. I would’ve been a mess without her and her assistant Gina!! They kept me sane and let me enjoy my day. If anything went wrong at our wedding, I didn’t hear about it because they were so quick to solve any issues. I never felt overwhelmed or stressed and was often told how calm of a bride I was, and I attribute that entirely to Jaclyn and her team. At one point during my wedding day I was feeling nauseous and having a hard time eating, they offered to leave the venue and drive to find Pepto if they didn’t have any in their emergency kit (which is stocked with anything you can imagine, which saved me from having to buy a ton of pointless items). They knew our venue inside and out and were friends with so many of my vendors. Working with Jaclyn made me feel so at ease about all of my choices. I cant recommend her company enough!
If you're looking to have the perfect wedding, hire Jaclyn and her team! We had a worry free, seamless day. Jaclyn can answer any questions you may have from Venues to the smallest details. She kept us on track with her monthly updates, had solutions for any situations, and was overall just lovely to work with. My parents (who hosted the wedding) were able to enjoy the entire day because Jaclyn had everything under control. From getting coffee for my grandmas to ensuring we had leftovers to take home, Jaclyn thought of everything. She kept the whole day on schedule and made sure my priorities for the day were met. I cannot recommend her highly enough!
Jaclyn and her team, Gina & Amanda, couldn’t have been more exceptional in coordinating and keeping us on track the day of my daughter’s wedding. She was a constant source of information in all aspects of planning. My daughter and I were so thankful for her guidance and my husband said hiring her was the best decision we made. We had a great team of vendors she kept in contact with throughout the process. Jaclyn knew most of them and helped connect us with amazing hair and makeup stylist too. We cannot say enough positive things about Jaclyn and the whole TLB team. From the moment we first spoke with Jaclyn, we have been impressed with her professionalism, humor, positivity, flexibility, and attention to detail. She was able to communicate the vision we had for our wedding better than we could and incorporated everything we wanted (and some things we didn’t even know we wanted!). She provided monthly updates/to-do lists, was always available to get on the phone to chat, was flexible when needed (ie when we decided to change our color scheme with 5 weeks to the wedding date!), and most importantly, made sure that we had fun the entire day. All of her vendor recommendations were amazing - we loved everyone we worked with. Not only did we have an amazing time at our wedding because she made sure to take care of everything (and I mean everything! We forgot socks for our dancing shoes, and she made sure they got there), but she also made sure our families had a relaxing and fun day. It is my recommendation that all brides in the northeast use Jaclyn as their wedding planner!!

Working with Jaclyn was fantastic. We brought her into our process on the later side and we wish we had found her earlier! Jaclyn was incredible to work with and made our wedding day absolutely magical. My husband and I were planning our wedding in Philadelphia from out of state while both working busy jobs. We’re not sure how to even start this review but we’ll begin with THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU to Jaclyn and the team at Two Little Birds Planning. You all truly made our vision come to life in the best weekend of our lives. Jaclyn spent a year and a half helping us to plan our wedding (specifically at a venue that, at the time, was still under construction and being renovated!), and everything went absolutely perfect for our day and weekend. From the day of coordination of all the vendors, to making sure all of our guests were taken care of, Jaclyn and her team made our day the most special and beautiful day and stress-free (!!) And she made sure that my husband and I were able to enjoy our day with our friends and family which meant the most to us. If anything was going amiss behind the scenes, we definitely did not know about it. It was such a joy to work with Jaclyn over the last year and a half — her ever-calming, “it’ll work out and be beautiful!” attitude was exactly what we needed going into this amazing project at our venue with so much uncertainty throughout (given it was under construction). As we learned, “it’ll work out” was always code for Jaclyn working her butt off to pull things off in the most beautiful way, and we are so lucky that we got to work with her from the beginning. I can’t believe how amazing it all came together. Our guests could not stop talking about everything from the ceremony, to the music, to the decorations and florals to the reception hall. If you are a couple looking for a planner who truly makes the process fun and manageable and brings soooo much to the table with her experience, book with Two Little Birds ASAP. My husband and I firmly agree it was the best money we spent throughout the entire wedding.
Jaclyn worked with us to envision, design, and ultimately create our perfect wedding. Jaclyn seamlessly led every step of the process from sourcing a phenomenal collection of vendors to curating a gorgeous aesthetic that fit out style to a tee to gracefully organizing and executing the day-of plans, we could not have imagined a more wonderful wedding. Perhaps Jaclyn's best quality is being able to take a couple's wedding vision and turn it not just into a reality, but into the wedding of our dreams. I would (and have) highly recommend Jaclyn!
Jaclyn is an absolute professional and a dream wedding planner! We were looking for a planner to help us make the right choices, make our vision come to life, and allow us to feel like guests at our own celebration. She brought us excellent (and budget-respectful) options for vendors and was always available for questions. Jaclyn amazingly coordinated all our vendors when we had to postpone our wedding by a year. Her organization kept everything on time (leading up to the day and day of), and her fine eye ensured nothing was missed. Our day was exactly what we wanted, and Jaclyn made it all possible. Out of all of the thousands of decisions we made in the year and a half of wedding planning, hiring Jaclyn was far and away the best decision we made. When people ask, “what’s the one piece of advice you’d give after having your wedding?” I always say the same thing: hire Two Little Birds. From day one, Jaclyn outlined a monthly agenda of to-dos and tasks for the wedding so that everything wasn’t left for the last minute and no one month felt overwhelming. Her recommendations on vendors is worth the cost of her services alone. She had so many great recommendations and walked us through every step of the process to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. When we lost our photographer for the wedding due to COVID four days before the wedding, Jaclyn had an amazing replacement photog lined up, prepped, and ready to go before we even knew there was an issue. That’s the magic of Two Little Birds. They take the stress out of planning and executing a wedding. I can’t begin to explain how amazing it feels to show up to your wedding and not having to worry about the execution of a single thing that day because Jaclyn and her team take care of every little detail. Two Little Birds allows you to just enjoy your wedding day without having to worry about a single thing and that feeling is truly priceless. Above all Jaclyn through all of the many months of our planning was truly a joy to work with. She was so caring, thoughtful, hardworking, creative, supportive, a therapist at times and a bulldog at others when you needed something impossible done that she of course was able to pull off. Wow. I’m at a loss for the right words for how amazing Jaclyn was for our wedding. Truly our wedding happened because of how amazing she is. We hired Jaclyn from the start of our process, about a year out. Every month she gave us updates and to do. She was on every call and helped us make every decision. She helped with venders and just keeping everything in line. Jaclyn made our vision come to life. The entire process was SO easy with her. Every little detail was PERFECT. People told me “be prepared for something to go wrong” let me tell you, if something went wrong, I knew nothing about it, Jaclyn made sure everything was PERFECT. I was pretty upset the day of the wedding because I had lost a little weight and my boobs weren’t sitting right. Well don’t worry they had sticky boob tape and put my girls right where I wanted them. Then my bustle of my dress broke, the button popped off, don’t worry Jaclyn had safety pins and within 2 minutes I was back out dancing. Jaclyn was more than a wedding planner, she truly is a friend to us now. I remember the morning of the wedding I was having a lot of butterflies, to the point of tears. She calmed me down, made me feel relaxed and supported me the way your friends do. I can not express how amazing this experience was with Jaclyn. If you are considering a wedding planner PLEASE hire Jaclyn, you will not regret it! (Ps I interviewed 4 other wedding planners and loved Jaclyn from the very start and knew I had to have her!) best decision I made for my wedding!

If it weren't for Jaclyn, my husband and I probably wouldn't have been able to get married in 2020. We had originally planned to get married in Italy this past June and when COVID hit and we realized we needed a plan b, hiring Jaclyn was the best decision we could've made. From the Amalfi Coast, to a prospective local venue, to ultimately hosting our micro wedding in our backyard, Jaclyn helped us navigate all of our options during the most uncertain time. Hiring Jaclyn was the best decision we made during our wedding planning! From the first phone call, I immediately knew she was someone I could trust with this milestone celebration. Not only did Jaclyn keep us organized and on task with our monthly to-dos, but she made wedding planning fun and took the stress out of the process which allowed us to focus on the most important thing - our love. When COVID-19 drastically changed our wedding plans after over a year of planning, Jaclyn was the first person we turned to. Within 24hrs of making the decision to postpone our large reception to 2021, Jaclyn had new contracts in place with all of our vendors and she was already putting a plan in motion for our intimate 2020 ceremony. Throughout the entire planning process, Jaclyn made sure that my husband and I both had our voices heard and that our wedding was uniquely us. We are very lucky to know Jaclyn and cannot thank her enough for bringing us the intimate wedding of our dreams. I am so excited that we get to work with her for another year!
Part 1, Spring 2020
Our first phone call (before even hiring her) was an hour long. She wanted to know who we were as individuals and as a couple, what we wanted for our wedding, and what services we might need. She's entirely a la carte, so we could pick and choose our services, and she was not the least bit pushy. We decided that in addition to day-of coordination, she would also provide vendor recommendations, a timeline with planning tasks, monthly check-in emails, and contract review.
She knows the local vendors and has their previous contracts, so if they've offered deals to previous clients, she'll advocate for you to get the same. When it comes to actually asking for changes or addressing questionable policies, Jaclyn handles the dirty work for you in a professional way. Most of our vendors already knew her, and they sang her praises from the start. Her monthly check-in emails with my monthly "to do's" were fantastic and flexible. I was impressed in our first year and a half together, but once COVID started ruining our wedding plans, that's when we realized just how lucky we were to have Jaclyn on our team.
We decided on a Sunday evening at 9:30 PM that we needed to reschedule our wedding. My fiance and I are residents working 80 hour weeks, so no way we were going to be able to handle all of this coordination. But we never had to because we had Jaclyn. The next day, at 7:52 AM she texted me that she had new contracts for our band and florist. At 9:42 AM she had confirmed the makeup artist. At 9:49 AM, the venue. At 10:55, she had identified an associate of our original photographer (who would not be available on the new date) who could fill in and had sent me links to her work. Who is capable of this?! Jaclyn. Jaclyn is capable of this. Our friends and family kept asking how they could help and saying how stressful rescheduling must be. While the decision to postpone was difficult and sad, the rescheduling process was a breeze for us because Jaclyn took that on for us.
Part 2, After May 2021 wedding actually happened!
As if we could have loved Jaclyn more. We finally got to hold our celebration in May 2021, after two postponements. Jaclyn handled both postponements beautifully, rescheduling our vendors and obtaining new contracts without us ever having to lift a finger. Beyond that, she never asked for additional fees to extend her services. In the meantime, before our rescheduled wedding celebration, my husband and I had a baby, so we had that added to our plate in the months leading up to our event. Jaclyn again stepped up, communicating directly with our vendors and advocating for us when our caterer imposed some questionable COVID policies. On the day of, she was accompanied by two assistant planners, who were just as organized, attentive, and thorough as Jaclyn. It was clear that she sees them as extensions of herself, and we loved seeing them work together as a seamless team. They even checked in with me to see if I needed pumping or breastfeeding breaks during the event, grabbed food and drinks for us, and one of them looked after our son while we took photos outside. Members of our bridal party made multiple comments about how impressive Jaclyn and her team were and half-jokingly asked if she offered life planning. If we had to redo our whole day and could only rehire one vendor, Jaclyn and her team would be that vendor, no questions. Thank you, Jaclyn!!!
Jaclyn was by our side for two years, and constantly went above and beyond! As a bride planning from out of state, it gave me such peace of mind knowing Jaclyn was always ten steps ahead and had everything under control. Her expertise and experience connected us with the best wedding vendors, and she guided us on how to make our day special to us. I was not as anxious as I was expecting to be in the weeks leading up to the wedding, and that is because I had Jaclyn by my side. Jaclyn’s attention to detail and responsiveness made me feel like we were her only wedding, even though she was plenty busy! Our wedding wouldn’t have been the same without Jaclyn, and we are so grateful for her and her team’s central role in making our wedding, and the whole planning experience, the best for us. Over the course of planning for our daughter's wedding, we came to rely on Jaclyn's many talents - organization, attention to detail, wise counsel for help with the variety of important decisions just to name a few. However, and perhaps even more importantly, we were most appreciative of her very special personality, combining kindness with the ability to make things happen - all the while giving us comfort and confidence that everything would be perfect. It was.
We cannot speak highly enough about Jaclyn and the Two Little Birds Planning team. From the start, Jaclyn kept us organized and on task so that we did not stress out in the final weeks before the wedding. She had great vendor recommendations and did a great job negotiating vendor contracts for us. As someone with a Type A personality, I have trouble letting go of control, but Jaclyn was always one step ahead of me and had things done before I could even worry about them. On the day of our wedding, Jaclyn and her two Assistants had everything under control and we did not have to think about a single detail other than enjoying our day. If anything went not to plan (although I seriously doubt that Jaclyn & her team would have let that happen), neither my husband nor I knew about it because they just took care of it. At the end of the night, we got to just go to our after-party while Jaclyn & her team finished cleaning up, packing up, and driving everything back to our apartment for us. We could not have asked for anything more!
Jaclyn and her team helped make our wedding day this summer seamless and stress free. They brought their A game, and we are eternally grateful. Jaclyn, your upbeat personality was a constant reminder to smile and enjoy everything about the day.
These ladies took all the stress out of our big day! The first time I cried while planning my wedding was after I booked Jaclyn and Amanda because I felt so relieved. Jaclyn did an amazing job of reassuring me that the day would be perfect throughout the entire process. There are so many things I would have forgotten if it weren’t for TLB like having a second photographer, setting up the day before and even taking a last minute shipment of umbrellas for me because we were planning from out of town. They helped to fill out all the paper work that I didn’t even know we needed and made sure our ducks were in a row. Amanda was awesome at finding a last minute Italian bakery to make the sepcialty desserts we decided to add to the spread last minute. I am so grateful for their help and would recommend them to anyone!
I don't know where to start with Jaclyn and her whole team (Amanda, Ray). They were incredibly thorough from our very first conversation all the way to days after the event ended. Amanda was keeping us on check in the months leading up to the wedding, always helping with things we let slip or needed the extra set of hands - and with the best attitude. And Jaclyn... she is a PRO. Seriously that woman works magic. On our wedding day, Jaclyn kept everything moving along so naturally without ever being pushy or appearing stressed. She was the picture of calm, collected, and fun! I can't recommend them enough.

When we started planning our Philadelphia wedding with Jaclyn, we lived two hours away. By the end, we lived halfway across the country. There's no way we could have pulled off the wedding without Jaclyn! We worked with Jaclyn from start to finish, and she helped us in every way imaginable. She provided emotional support when things were stressful and practical support when we didn't know what we were doing. She made sure our wedding went off without a hitch, but also took the time to help us make the wedding uniquely us.
We interviewed a handful of wedding planners initially. All of our consults went well, but there was one thing about our free consult with Jaclyn that stood out: it was nearly two hours long! It turns out that wasn’t a coincidence — it was truly representative of how she treats her couples. Over the twelve months we worked with her, she never once made us feel like we were taking too much of her time. It relieved so much stress to know that all we needed to do was get a call on the calendar with Jaclyn and she’d spend as much time as we needed to talk through everything on our minds. And it wasn’t just the time she spent with us that relieved stress; her sense of humor and warmth meant we always ended our marathon calls feeling better and happier than when they’d started.
Jaclyn's knowledge of the Philadelphia wedding scene was particularly helpful given that we were planning the wedding remotely. For each vendor, she provided us with a curated list customized to our price-point and preferences, saving us hours of googling. All of her lists were on point. She also has relationships with seemingly every wedding vendor in Philly, and those relationships pay off. If a vendor ever told us they couldn't do something, Jaclyn would step in and almost always get us what we wanted, and she saved us money on more than one occasion.
We moved halfway across the country without much notice a few months before our wedding. Suddenly, we were overwhelmed with life. Jaclyn had been great up to that point, but she took it to another level when she heard the news. At one point, she even highlighted a long email from a vendor so I only had to read the important parts, and she let us ship all of our decor to her house.
At our rehearsal on Friday morning, we got a call from a rehearsal dinner vendor that they’d never received our payment and wouldn’t make the scheduled delivery. Jaclyn immediately stepped in and figured it out; five months later, we barely remember how it got sorted out, and it's moments like those that make us realize how lucky we were to have not only hired a planner, but to have hired one who takes initiative and gets things done.
The wedding itself went off without a hitch, and that is a testament to Jaclyn and her team. She always made sure we had a drink in our hands and our favorite food on the table, and she went out of her way to make sure we (and our parents) got to try every single dessert. Knowing she was there allowed us to truly not worry about logistics and just enjoy the night. The fact that we actually kind of miss planning our wedding all these months later is a testament to her and much fun she made the process.
Hiring a wedding planner isn’t cheap, but it’s one of the best decisions we’ve made as a couple. She kept us on task, encouraged us to dream big, was willing to tell us when an add-on wasn’t worth it, and mostly importantly, made sure the weekend was truly about us.
Jacklyn had a special way of being on top of the details of my daughter's wedding while still allowing us to be ourselves. She paid attention to every detail and allowed our creative spirits to show through during this entire process. She was a huge advocate for making sure that the happy couple made thoughtful decisions and their style really showed through. Jaclyn and her team were amazing. She has everything under control from 10 months out until the last moment of the wedding. She keeps backup copies and lists of everything for the day of the event, just in case someone else forgets something. She also works to make the wedding exactly what you want, and tries hard to make it reflect you. She's incredibly organized and keeps everyone calm throughout the entire process. Plus she's fun. We reached out to Jaclyn and her company, Two Little Birds Planning, on the recommendation of a friend. We are so glad that we did! My husband were not living in the area where we were getting married and worried about the logistics. Jaclyn was so clearly on top of everything and was such a calming influence that we were able to really sit back and relax - even the week before the wedding wasn't stressful. When the day came, Jaclyn made sure everything went according to plan. We really cannot overstate how helpful she was.
We hired Jaclyn primarily for 'week of' wedding planning services, with a few extras. Jaclyn was able to build a custom 'package' that met our needs and our budget. Throughout our communications with her, she was responsive and professional. When recommending vendors (hair/makeup and bands) she provided options several price points that allowed us to prioritize what was important to us. We are not local to Philadelphia, where our venue was, so it was reassuring that Jaclyn had extensive experience with other out-of-town couples. Coming to the big week she was very helpful in arranging all of the details and coordinating our vendors so we did not need to worry about. We had a few last minute snafus regarding our after-party (that we had booked without her help) and she was able to step in and help out so we didn't need to worry about it the day before our wedding. Jaclyn went above and beyond to order some soft pretzels and pick up snacks when the catering options for the after party fell through. When our bridal suite wasn't set up for hair/make-up as needed and the bridal party's florals arrived at the wrong place, a quick call to Jaclyn fixed it. Jaclyn and her team were absolutely great in making sure all of our day-of decor and signage that we brought in was arranged as planned. We also had some pretty severe timing issues during the event itself as our ceremony went 2x the timing planned and we were running quite late. Jaclyn was able to coordinate all of the appropriate parties (security, venue, band, caterers, etc.) and arrange a time extension, as well as keep the evening moving so none of the guests realized we were off schedule and in a time extension. We would highly recommend Jaclyn to other couples in the Philly area!

Fun fact- Jaclyn was able to pull off hiring a tarot card reader for my Horticulture Center wedding the week of. The tarot card reader was a huge hit with guests and I am in awe of how she pulled it off. PSA a tarot card reader at a wedding is legit, as is Two Little Birds!
Two little birds is outstanding in every way from beginning to end and we only wished we hired her sooner. Prior to hiring Jaclyn, I was an out of town bride overwhelmed by all of the decisions and possible vendors I couldn’t meet in person. After I reached out to her 10 months from the wedding, I knew she was the one! She listened to my vision and what I had already accomplished and made a customized proposal not only keeping my budget in mind but also my piece of mind.
If you’re at all like me you get lost in all of the ideas you saw on Pinterest and things to do. Not the case when working with Jaclyn! Throughout the process her personalized monthly checklists and vendor recommendations kept me focused. She is supreme at recommending vendors within your budget and identifying if vendor add-ons are financially worth it. Reading vendor contracts is never fun and she was excellent at reading through to make sure we were getting what we needed. She also responded to my long winded coffee fueled emails like a breeze. She’s prompt, funny, professional, personal and it feels like you are working with a close friend.
As we got closer to the wedding I couldn’t imagine doing it without her. From hearing out my crazy ideas to suggesting small things like kinds of frames to use for signage she had us covered. I will never forget sitting in the venue meeting and my husband texting me “ thank god for Jaclyn” when the discussion turned to number of tables/table sizes and we had no idea. No worries- she knew exactly what we needed!
The week of wedding Jaclyn and her team ( shout out Amanda!) were in frequent contact with us and our vendors and assisted in all last minute items. She helped run my rehearsal, day of timeline, figured out day of food for my bridesmaids, packed up my wedding items after the wedding and coordinated everything with ease. She did more than what I listed, but I wouldn’t know as I was stress free that week thanks to her. She is very well respected among vendors and it shows in the final product. There were zero hiccups and we owe it all to her! My family and friends were very impressed by her.

I couldn’t imagine anyone doing a better job than Jaclyn. We tried planning ourselves for the first several months. Hiring Jaclyn completely changed everything. To say our wedding was anything less than perfect would be an understatement, and that was in no small part thanks to Jaclyn and her team. We hired Jaclyn on to help us as soon as we started planning for our big day. We would occasionally drop Jaclyn a line to ask for advice on things early on and she was always quick to respond. As our wedding approached, Jaclyn was quick to help organize all of our vendors. She worked behind the scenes with our venue to make sure everything ran smoothly. Given all of the other details we had to worry about, this was a huge help. On the day of the wedding, Jaclyn and her team were a covert operation, making sure everything and everyone were where they needed to be. There was no detail left unnoticed. Everything, and I mean everything, went perfectly. To add to it, the next day when we woke up, all of our belongings from the venue were back at our apartment waiting for us, even things I thought I’d have to remind her to grab. She even found my friend’s lost wallet and cellphone on 3 separate occasions throughout the night (yes, read 3 times) and returned them to him. I could go on, but the bottom line is this - our wedding was everything we dreamed of and Jaclyn helped us plan it. Enough said.
Jaclyn stands out from all other planners due to her genuine willingness to thoroughly get to know YOU as a couple -- from the first phone call. We hired Jaclyn to help us with day-of coordination, but she went above and beyond -- helping us communicate and organize all of our vendors months in advance, answering all of our emails in a timely manner, making recommendations along the way, setting up multiple calls, confirming with our vendors (including introducing herself to our Rabbi which thoroughly impressed him, as he told us that out of hundreds of weddings he has officiated has he NEVER had a planner call in advance), and even showing up to a venue planning meeting. On the day of our wedding, Jaclyn was such a calm yet cheerful presence who made us feel like everything was under control. We are so appreciative of everything she did and cannot recommend her enough!
From our first conversation, we knew that Jaclyn was the perfect wedding planner for us and throughout our journey, her steady guidance and constant positivity made both us and our family and friends so grateful for her involvement in our wedding.

If we could give Jaclyn and the Two Little Birds team infinity stars we would! My husband Mike and I had very busy and often opposite schedules throughout our 18 month engagement and my parents live in Pittsburgh so hiring Jaclyn was a no brainer. From sending us choices for each vendor category, keeping us on track and on budget, attending vendor meetings with me, and negotiating contracts directly with our vendors she made each step of planning our wedding simple and enjoyable. Also - her advice and patience with us was invaluable. We often had what we thought were silly questions or struggled to make decisions and Jaclyn was always available to talk through any questions or concerns we had. Because of her experience it felt like she had an answer to every single question and concern. I cannot believe she had other couples and weddings going on during our engagement because it felt like we were always a priority to her.
The month before our wedding Mike and I went on a two week vacation so coming back to work and all the last minute wedding details (mostly due to our own procrastination) was overwhelming. Two weeks before our wedding I called her to talk through our to do list. Not only did I find out she spent the Friday night before shopping for and putting together our bathroom boxes, she also had coordinated all last minute details with each of our vendors so our final calls would go quickly and focus on the things that mattered to us. She also worked directly with my parents and venue to ensure that our final catering details were exactly what we wanted.
The day of the wedding - Jaclyn and her team were on top of everything. Mike and I, our families, and our wedding party were able to completely enjoy the day and stay present because we knew we could trust that Jaclyn and her team had everything under control. My bridesmaids all ask if Jaclyn has started a life coach business yet and my family refers to her as Saint Jaclyn. Jaclyn - we feel like we can’t thank you enough still for everything that you did! Our wedding was everything we had dreamed of and more.
It takes love for what you do to excel at what you do. Jaclyn and her staff embody that concept. Jaclyn and her team love LOVE and family and cherishing moments...and you feel that. The attention to detail, the massive amount of time spent with and without us, and the respect and love we felt throughout the process made planning our wedding, and fully enjoying the weekend of our wedding, all the more special. As in most weddings, the goal is to bring together the most important people in your life to share in one of the most important moments of your life...needless to say, it is a big deal! Jaclyn understands and thrives in the importance of those moments, and embraces the challenges of the balancing act that planning a wedding truly is. She is also a dear friend to turn to with feelings and stress throughout the process. I see that this has been said before in earlier posts, but our wedding would not have been the most incredible day of our lives without her. We will have memories from her in keepsake boxes for the rest of our lives. What else could you possibly ask out of someone helping you plan your wedding? There is no way to thank her enough.
It’s absolutely incredible how much work goes into planning a wedding. Jaclyn was the person who made it possible for me to answer all the important questions and guide me to answering the questions I didn’t know I had to think about. Her and her team are the epitome of professional, but also know how to make a party go off without a hitch. Jaclyn and her team were absolutely essential to me and Devin- without them I wouldn’t have enjoyed the day half as much as we did.
I genuinely believe we wouldn't have had a wedding without Jaclyn. My husband and I knew what we liked but planning wasn't easy since we were in two states. From our initial call Jaclyn put us entirely at ease about the process, and throughout the year we worked with her she continually blew us away.
She was there whenever we needed her, and was always available for emails or calls (and would never make us feel rushed, which says so much about her and how she works). Every month she would do something else amazing that made us realize how utterly indebted we were to her. There are so many things that can go wrong during wedding planning that we didn't anticipate and she fixed every bump we encountered within hours. When our engagement session with our photographer (a vendor we chose without Jaclyn's input) went wrong, she dropped everything to find us a new one (whom we ended up absolutely loving). When two other vendors weren't getting along, she jumped in and fixed it. She volunteered to attend several vendor meetings she didn't have to, just because she wanted to make sure everything went smoothly for us. She was there to give advice on dress selection and even played therapist when things got a bit stressful. When we found out it would be cheaper to ship my dress to her house instead of mine, she even received it for us and drove out of her way so we could get it. I honestly can't imagine what would have happened to us if we'd tried to go through this process without her help.
Her network of vendors is also incredible. She got our vision instantly, and for every thing we needed she'd have a list of vendors to choose from who were 1) all such nice people 2) so high-quality.
But the most telling day was the wedding day. I thought I'd be stressed, but Jaclyn and her team were a blur behind the scenes making sure everything went smoothly. Not only did she coordinate all of the vendor arrivals and deliveries and set-ups (which in retrospect we never would have been able to handle ourselves), but during the actual wedding they were always on hand to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. When someone handed us a card or gift, one of them was at our side within seconds to take it for us. When we were thirsty, they'd pop us to offer us a drink. It was almost like magic — I think one of them was keeping an eye on us at all times.
You'd think people would rave about the food or decoration after a wedding. But no — everyone who met her has been raving about Jaclyn for the past month. They were all blown away by her in just a few hours as guests or bridal party members, and immediately saw what we've seen for the past year!
But beyond all that, she's just a good-hearted, kind, funny, wonderful person. You can tell right away she truly cares about her couples and what she does. I truly don't think we could have done this without her by our side, and I've honestly put off writing this because I didn't know how to express how grateful we were (because anything I could write would be insufficient)!
Working with Jaclyn was hands-down the best and most significant decision we made in the planning process. If you're on the fence, hire her. We'd absolutely recommend her without reservation.
Hiring Two Little Birds Planning was one of the best decisions I made when planning my wedding - I honestly cannot imagine how the day would've gone without Jaclyn there. She was exactly what you want in a wedding planner - super organized, prepared for everything, and able to remain calm and focused even in the midst of chaos. And most importantly, she was friendly and easy to work with. Even when I emailed her at 11:30 the night before the wedding freaking out about wrinkles in my dress, she got back to me within minutes ensuring me that she would make sure the dress wrinkle free - and she did!
