Janessa was seriously amazing! During my trial she was so patient with me and my husband (yes I brought my husband with me) and really listened to us for ideas or changes. Most other wedding hairdressers that I have dealt with don’t listen to you and claim they know what they’re doing and you get very little say. Janessa was able to capture my vision exactly and was super easy going about it all! On the day of, she did hair for 9 people, including me, and was so fast but also the hair stayed really well and looked amazing! One of my bridesmaids who has very straight hair—her hair can’t hold a curl—Janessa was able to get her hair to stay curled for HOURS! She did such a fantastic job! My husband would not stop talking about my hair all day long saying it was the best my hair has ever looked and was absolutely perfect! I looked like me, but elevated! I highly recommend working with her! Janessa works very closely with Janelle Maris (makeup artist) and put me in contact with her. Janelle is a fantastic makeup artist. She doesn’t use airbrush, which I prefer as I have not had good experiences with airbrush in the past, and her makeup really makes a wow-factor! My husband and I both loved my makeup on the day of the trial, but as I thought more about it, I was afraid it might be too dark; so day of I asked her to make a few tweaks and the makeup turned out to be the best I have ever had! My husband would not stop talking about how beautiful I looked and said I really did look the most beautiful on my wedding day! I looked like me, but elevated! I highly recommend working with Jay Beauty with both Janessa and Janelle!
