BOOK HER NOW!! Jessica was BY FAR, AND I MEAN BY FAR, the best money I spent for my wedding. My husband and I were not living in Miami and were planning everything from far away. Jessica was in constant contact for OVER A YEAR, and helped us every step of the way. I was searching for a photographer and loved her style, but it wasn't until I spoke to her over the phone that I was sold. She is structured, organized, professional, and experienced. She did both our engagement photos and our wedding photos so we got to know her and her work pretty well. She helped us create a timeline for the day of the wedding, gave her expert opinion on first looks, sunset photos, and timing for the wedding. She was very good with giving direction so that photos were beautiful, but also was understanding when we needed a break from the Miami heat. She kept us on time, made sure we got all the photos we wanted and more. Her assistants are beyond excellent! One of them helped me bustle my dress! Jessica also is very familiar with the wedding venues in Miami, so she knows where to pose, and the people working at the venue which makes everything so much easier. Honestly, Jessica goes above and beyond for her bride and she wants you to look beautiful on your day. The photos are absolutely stunning and exceptional so say the least, and the customer service is unmatched. I PROMISE YOU, YOU NEED HER! SHE IS WORTH EVERY SINGLE PENNY!

The photographer was one of the most important things to me in planning our wedding. I was nervous that I would be too much because I had so many ideas of what I wanted (and I wanted allllll of the details and lots of pictures) – that all went out the window after the first conversation with Jessica. I felt like I didn’t have anything to worry about and decided to not even give a list of “must have” pictures because I was so confident in her and her talent. When I found The Picture Cottage’s webpage, I literally started tearing up looking at her pictures. The first thing I noticed were the emotions and life that she captured in her photos! I knew that we had found the most amazing photographer after minutes of talking with her! Jessica is SO MUCH MORE than an amazing photographer! Her and her team helped in so many ways- from navigating complicated family dynamics to being there for support and encouragement and so much more. She captured every detail of the day! Jessica, our engagement shoot and wedding photos were ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE – if you’re lucky enough to have found her, book her!

Words can not express how amazing Jessica and her team is. But not only wedding day, Jessica is always there for advice. She is the best photographer ever and she is kind, funny, outgoing, it’s almost like having a big sister taking pictures of you on your wedding day. I also took my engagement pictures with her and she really makes you feel comfortable and not awkward at all. She is very punctual and if you need her for anything she is there. She even helped bustle my wedding dress more than once during my wedding. She does it all hahahahaha! She is very talented in what she does and she does it with love. The second photographer on wedding day was also great and very sweet :)

Can't say enough about Jessica and her team... other than WOAH! I've only received sneak peeks of my wedding day photos, but we are floored.... sharing them with family, just makes them feel like they are reliving every detail of the day - because she did such an unbelievable job capturing EVERY TINY DETAIL! I cannot explain enough how comfortable she makes you feel, when you are not used to being in front of a camera (especially for how many photos you have to take). She's so quick at what she does, and direct enough to make sure you get what you need in the short amount of time you have - to capture it all. One of my favorite things about her, she makes sure YOU are prioritized, and everything you're asking for is taken. The photos are absolutely stunning, and bring tears of joy to your eyes. Guys! The Picture Cottage is AMAZING! We initially fell in love with her pictures because of her style, she is very organic and candid (which I love)..& her pictures are just freaking beautiful!! During our first phone call, she gave us all the information we needed and then she just wanted to get to know us, which my husband and I really liked. With our picture package we were given an engagement shoot, this is where my husband and I really got to know who Jessica. We did something crazy, and decided to fly Jessica out to Utah for a day to get some really kick ass engagement pictures. My husband and I had never been to Utah before, so we had looked up some places and ended up on a GORGEOUS mountain that provided such breathtaking scenery. Jessica was down for whatever, I mean WHATEVER! She totally froze her ass off for us. It was an experience I will forever remember and I’m so glad she was there to capture it all. Moving forward, to my boudoir shoot! I wanted to do something different for my husband for a wedding gift on top of just giving him a bottle of whiskey. I was talking to Jessica about it and she told me about the boudior pictures. Initially, I was a for sure NO because I’m so shy, but the more we discussed it, the more comfortable I felt. During the shoot, she is your number one fan girl, which makes you feel so much better about yourself. If you do a shoot like this you really need someone who’s going to boost up your self-esteem to get you those awesome pics AND Jessica is that photographer! Our last stop, the wedding. Due to Covid we had a lot of hiccups but we were set on our date. Throughout the entire wedding process Jessica was there for everything. Not just photography related stuff but seriously anything and everything. Our church had canceled on us and I went into straight panic, and when I talked to Jess about it she put everything down to help me come up with Plan B. She’s not just your wedding photographer, she will be your rock through it all. The day of the wedding she came with her assistant, her assistant went with my husband and she stayed with me during the get ready time. We got some amazing get ready with me pictures, and had so much fun during those shots. And she was totally OK with me drenching her in Champaign, lol, sorry Jess! My husband and I did the first look, we initially weren’t sold on it and really wanted to see each other at the church for the first time, but due to the time change in November it gets really dark early on so we talked to Jessica about it and she suggested the first look to us, no pressure just a recommendation. We agreed, and don’t regret it not even for a second. The first look was probably my most favorite time during the whole day. It was very intimate and so much fun! My husband and I got our best pictures during the first look. I truly recommend it after doing it. That day, we got every single shot I wanted, if you tell her the shots that you want- you’re guaranteed to get them. We ran a little behind on time and at the end of the night and I had an Hora Loca surprise for my husband and we asked Jessica to stay for an extra 30 minutes and without hesitation she did. We were so blessed with such an amazing photographer and now Friend. We can’t recommend The Picture Cottage enough if you want an amazing experience with an amazing photographer on your wedding day. I promise The Picture Cottage will deliver and exceed your expectations.

Where to start, SIMPLY THE BEST! Working with Jessica and The Picture Cottage was an absolute pleasure. From the very first meeting, Jessica was extremely responsive and attentive throughout the whole process. Jessica was not only a photographer but also an all around invaluable resource throughout the entire wedding process. Upon looking at The Picture Cottage’s Instagram we fell in love with her style and ability to take candid photos. We winded up doing an engagement shoot and photobooth in addition to our wedding day coverage and couldn’t be happier with the results! Jessica was able to help with our timeline and made sure to capture ALL the special moments of our big day. It winded up raining during the wedding but Jessica was able to capture some of the most beautiful unscripted and natural photos as we scrambled for shelter. We were able to book an additional bridal shoot a month later and Jessica worked tirelessly to find my wife hair and makeup when the make up artist had to cancel last minute. Jessica and her assistant went above and beyond the attend to to our needs throughout our entire wedding day and worked with all the other vendors seamlessly. Upon receiving our photos all we can say is WOW! The pictures just jumped off the screen, catching all the emotion of our big day and then some. We also were delighted to see all the variation in the photos captured from the morning to dancing the night away. As far as photographers go I wouldn’t look look any further than The Picture Cottage, not only for quality also for a stress free experience. We could not be more grateful for Jessica’s patience, work ethic, compassion and understanding throughout the entire wedding process!

I may or may not have fallen in love with Jessica faster than I did with my husband ... SERIOUSLY! Planning a wedding is stressful, but adding in the fact that it was a destination wedding and the peak of COVID my anxiety was high. I found The Picture Cottage on The Knot, quickly stalked their Instagram (AMAZING portfolio), set up our phone consultation and was sold. I met Jessica two days before my wedding for our venue walk-through which might stress some out. But with someone as warm as Jessica, we spoke many times prior about not only the wedding but to wish each other Happy Holidays and just to say hello that I truly felt like I gained a forever friend not just a vendor, easing every ounce of anxiety. Her work ethic is unmatched, along with her attention to detail and eye for the perfect shot. There’s no question, text message, phone call or concern that you’ll have that she won’t immediately answer. My husband is a stubborn Latin man that wanted zero part in posing for pictures and he can honestly admit that it was so effortless and Jessica was so calm that he actually enjoyed it. The candid moments Jessica was able to capture of our beautiful day means so much more to us than we could ever express to her and we are so thankful to have been able to have her and her beautiful team be a part of the best and most memorable day of our lives. It honestly feels funny writing a "review" for our photographer because Jessica wasn't just our photographer, she is one of the quickest friends I've ever made. I found Jessica on The Knot, reached out to her, and she immediately gave me her number so we could start texting and set up a phone call. I knew from the moment we connected over the phone that she would be reliable, dedicated, trustworthy, SO talented and experienced, and just an all-around wonderful, comfortable, and kind person to work with. And oh man was that reflected the day of our engagement shoot AND our wedding day. She helped us decide on every detail we thought was important for our photographer right down from the day-of timeline, to which dress I should wear for the engagement photos. The moment Jessica walked up to the bridal suite the day of too, I had a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. Just her presence is calming and cheerful :) It's important to hire a photographer that you feel comfortable with, but that can obviously create quality photos too! Which is exactly why you need to hire Jessica. She is not only helpful, selfless, professional, honest, and trustworthy, she is SO INCREDIBLY TALENTED. EVERY single photo she sent us (and there were over 1000) makes me feel like I am reliving our wedding day from a different beautiful perspective every time. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Jessica. She is just a great human being and I'm so glad we met.

My wedding was originally planned for a Tuesday at a property that has my ultimate dream garden. My wedding being on a Tuesday, means the best vendors are available and Jessica at the picture cottage is the BEST. I was so lucky to have been able to hire her for our wedding. I was a little late to hiring some other vendors and she even helped me to find my hair and makeup artist ... and she is not even a planner. She went above and beyond to regularly check in with me just to see if mentally i was still sane from wedding planning and to offer me advice and strength. And did I mention... she is not even a wedding planner! But she also helped me find a wedding planner too! What she is... is an amazing photographer and human being! Well even though i was keeping it cool, just 1 week before our wedding day, Miami-Dade mandated gatherings no more than 10 people! Just 1 week before my big day! My fiancé and I were determined to keep our date so we completely replanned our wedding to be at home in my own personal garden. During this time, March 2020, everyone was scared of everything particularly me since I am a nurse but Jessica was my ROCK (second to my now husband lol). So, just 1 week out, I now had to ask her to drive 1.5 hrs from our original venue and come to the personal home of a Miami ICU nurse. And to my relief, she agreed!!!!!!! My big day turned out to be smaller than previous birthday parties but with Jessica I felt like a bride! She was able to use my tiny guest room for our bridal suite photos, bridal party photos, and first look with my dad. Even with a queen bed taking up 75% of the room all the photos look unique so you cannot tell they are all in the same setting. My somewhat busted yard was also captured as a beautiful backdrop to our wedding day. A difficult task to say the least. With her gorgeous photos I am now able to look back on that day with fulfillment that my small, big day, was beautiful. Jessica is the real deal, the whole package, and a genuinely good person. These are qualities that are priceless and not easy to find in the wedding industry. Trust me, you wont regret hiring her. Jessica is fantastic! She is attentive and knowledgeable! She is wonderful at making couples feel at ease during her photo shoots. I am so blessed to have been able to have her shoot my wedding. I found Jessica on instragram and instantly fell in love with her photos and knew right away I wanted her for my wedding. We had a meeting over the phone and she was the nicest person ever! She asked me questions about myself, about my husband & about our relationship. She didn’t just want to get another gig- she wanted to get to know us and build a personal relationship. Fast forward to our engagement photos and my one fear came true- it rained almost the entire time. Again, Jessica was so comforting and assuring that it would be fine and the pictures would be great. Well she was 100% right. I loved the pictures- they were fun, light hearted. We got to dance in the rain and get wet, it was a really fun and beautiful experience. Then came my wedding day. She was absolutely amazing. On top of the schedule, extremely organized with everything, very patient with me and so supportive. She was absolutely amazing to have as a photographer. She got the most beautiful photos of my special day. Now my husband and I are expecting our first baby and I’ve already told Jessica I want her for maternity pictures and just about anything else I can think of. The best part about Jessica is you’re not just hiring her for photos but through it all you find yourself building a real relationship. She checks in on us often and vice versa. She’s not only amazing at her job but she’s just an amazing person and friend to have. I have zero regrets and I’m so happy I chose her for my photos. I’d chose her over and over again if I could.

Picking a wedding photographer is one of the most difficult decisions in planning your wedding. After all, you’re left with the memories through pictures. All that stress vanished the minute I hung up with Jessica after our first conversation. We had planned a time for me to call her and I thought my 30-minute lunch break would be perfect. Funny thing was we were on the phone for over an hour! Our conversation was so smooth I felt as though we were old friends just catching up. I didn’t even wait to consult with my husband about booking her because I knew she was the one. One thing that stood out was when she told me engagement sessions were part of her packages because it helped her get to know us and our best angles before our big day. MIC DROP. We thought that based on our engagement photos that nothing could be better....until we saw our wedding gallery. Every single photo was a work of art that left us speechless at how perfect not only the picture was but how it reflected the feeling of the moment. To give her 5 stars does not do justice to the amazing service and beauty of each capture that she provides. All of our guests, and those that have seen our pictures, have agreed, we truly had the best photographer! She was everything we wanted and more! 10/10 recommend!!!! I had a semi destination wedding in Fort Lauderdale (Destination for my friends and family, not the grooms). I was really nervous about finding a photographer that I would love since I couldn't go based on family and friends recommendations. I planned my wedding from NE and found The Picture Cottage on wedding wire/the knot. I sent her a message and Jessica was so quick to respond, friendly, and was willing to work with my budget and give me everything I needed. She really made me feel at ease. I was not only excited to work with her, but she was excited to work with me! She checked in on me throughout the wedding planning process and made sure we were on the same page. When wedding day came she was organized, on time, and it seemed like she already had a template of how everything needed to go which was VERY helpful since I didn't have a wedding planner. Our wedding was outside and it got REALLY windy. I was sure the pictures were going to turn out bad due to the weather, but boy was I wrong. WE LOVE OUR PICTURES!!! They are perfect. Everything we could of dreamed of and more. I am so happy I found her and decided to go with the The Picture Cottage.

Working with Jessica from the moment we took our engagement photos to the day we said “I Do” has been such an enjoyable experience. Jessica wasn’t just our photographer, but quickly became a good friend. My husband and I are very shy, however, Jessica made us feel so comfortable. She is so down to earth and funny that you can’t help but fall in love with her. The picture cottage, they are AMAZING . From the beginning through the end they offered endless support, advice and guidance. We felt safe on their hands. Even though we had some weather issues they still managed to take amazing photos and helped me not to stress about the situation and make the best of it. We are completely blown away with the amazing talents and work of The Picture Cottage. Jess Vilchez delivered everything we dreamed for that day and more! Capturing moments we value and treasured the most from our special day that we get to relive over and over again!! When I first met Jessica I remember telling my husband she’s the one! Mind you we met on Instagram, I loved her style and saw all the beautiful pictures she took. The connection we had off the bat was incredible. She Was very genuine and always available whenever I reached out to her. She takes her time and takes pride in her work. She does this all with love! Not only did she include a free engagement session and those pictures were to die for but she really took her time and made sure we were happy with the amount of pictures we took. Now the wedding, she worked her magic! Mind you we didn’t do first look pictures and she still managed to capture the most beautiful pictures ever of my husband and I and it wasn’t easy getting 20 bridesmaids and groomsmen to cooperate and take pictures after the ceremony. She also took pictures of every detail and made sure I had this to keep as a memory forever. Words can’t express how grateful I am for her and for everything she has done! I truly have no words to describe how truly incredible our experience with Jess has been. I found The Picture Cottage through Instagram. I am extremely happy I took the leap and went with Jess. She listened to my ideas for the engagement session and ran with it. She was patient, creative, and so funny! The pictures came out gorgeous!! Prior to the wedding she was very thorough with my expectations for the day of. Arrived ahead of time and was ready to roll! I could not have asked for better service from her and her assistant. They were so attentive to detail and made sure I got all the photos I wanted. I am so ecstatic with my photos!! They did a phenomenal job! <3 I highly recommend her for any photo needs.

I have so many positive things to say about The Picture Cottage (Jessica). Her photographs are absolutely breathtaking. She is not only good at what she does, but also has a big heart, which shows through her work. She is patient, kind, down to earth, and funny. She will do anything to make the shot perfect. I also did a Boudoir Photo shoot with her, which I gave to my husband on our wedding night, which he loved!! The shoot with Jessica was so much fun and the pictures came out beyond amazing! Honestly, I would give more stars to Jessica on this site if I could! Not only are the photos that come out of her camera INCREDIBLE, but so is the woman taking the photos!! From the moment I met Jessica and saw her photos of her prior weddings, I knew she was going to be our photographer. Her attention to detail and natural style in all of her albums captured me immediately. Each moment we met in person, she was extremely punctual and professional. I had no doubt that she would arrive on time on the day of our wedding day with a big smile and her winning attitude. Leading up to our big day, Jessica and I would text to discuss the day-of timing, specific photos we wanted taken, what items she wanted us to have ready for the photos, where we should take them, etc. She was always available to answer my questions and concerns, and you could tell that she had a great amount of wedding experience because her responses calmed all of my nerves. One of the things I enjoyed most was taking our engagement photos with her. It gave us a chance to get to open up to her and her camera before the wedding day. We were instantly comfortable with her, and she was able to capture the most beautiful and natural photos of us that exceeded our expectations. One thing I want to mention about our wedding is that we had 10 bridesmaids and 10 groomsmen, and Jessica owned it. She moved swiftly through the house to capture everyone getting ready, and she successfully herded us all together to get beautiful shots. That was all in addition to her taking detailed photos on the side of my dress, our invitation, rings, location, and more. She came ready with ideas in mind for what photos she wanted to take specifically, and she executed the shots perfectly. I was nervous about us being so many people, but she came in and nailed it!! Not only was I extremely impressed with her speed and attention to detail, but so was my entire bridal party! They all absolutely loved posing for her, and still praise her skills to this day when we talk about it. Our wedding day went so smoothly, and Jessica went around capturing photos of all of our friends and family having a great time. My husband would like for me to mention that for all of his groomsmen that are typically uncomfortable taking photos, Jessica opened up to them and was able to set them up in a way that she could capture natural photos of them as if she wasn’t there. The photos she showed him immediately after were so stunning, and left them all impressed. She removed all of the pressure of taking those important photos, and she captured their true selves. We would hire Jessica again in a heartbeat to take photos of any event in our lives!! I can’t stress how impressed we were with her skills, professionalism, knowledge, and personality. I remember my reaction when I first saw some of Jessica’s work. She actually did some beautiful and intimate family portraits for my cousin. When I saw them I knew I had to reach out to her because it was exactly the style my husband and I were looking for, for our wedding. She drove all the way to Orlando to capture our day and the pictures turned out stunning. First of all....this lady is THE BEST photographer I've met. We met on a random Instagram search for my destination wedding and all I can say is how blessed I am to have found her. I loved her style from the get go and she exceeded my expectations greatly. She caught all the in between moments and I will have these forever to cherish. I cant thank you enough for capturing the best day of my life and I wouldnt have wanted anyone else to have done it. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. I contacted her for my engagement pictures and she was so flexible and able to accommodate into her schedule soon after. Jessica is the best. If you are unsure about a wedding, lifestyle, family, ANY photographer in the Miami area (or anywhere for that matter), your search is over. My now fiancé and I wanted a lifestyle session with her to capture our time in Miami. I searched high and low on Instagram and found Jessica. Her style, eye, and edits involved in the perfect photo/shoot is unmatched. I heard back from her in a short period of time and booked that day. Kevin and I were really nervous (but still excited!) day of because we never had professional photos taken together of us and didn't know what to expect. When we meet Jessica, she was so nice and funny that it felt like we had been friends forever. She knew just how to pose us, but not too much, to capture our unique relationship. I didn't expect pictures for another few weeks but she texted me some THAT NIGHT. We've worked with another photographer since and we had to wait almost two weeks before we saw one picture and some really special moments were blurry. I compare every photographer to Jessica and there are just little things here and there that make her the best. She's incredible. Book her.

Jessica is beyond amazing! Not only is she so sweet, the product she provides will NOT disappoint. She is great at directing and making you feel comfortable in front of the camera (even my fiancé was comfortable and he hates taking photos!!) I would recommend her with my eyes closed. No need to look further!!

Our pictures were absolutely beautiful. I never feel very confident in front of a camera, but Jessica does an amazing job to help you feel comfortable. We had an engagement shoot a few months before our wedding and that is really what sealed the deal for us. Jessica has an amazing eye for colors, angles, and lighting but in additional to her technical skills, she really has a way of making the whole process fun and relaxing. Our photos were done and uploaded much quicker for us than for other couples we know and they came out so well. I have never been so happy with the way I look in a picture.
