Johnson's Custom Cakes exceeded all our expectations. Everyone we met with were helpful and friendly. The tasting was so much fun -- with sooo much cake. We ended up with strawberry cream, dulce de leche and red velvet. Our angelfish toppers were more beautiful than we could have imagined. And not only was the cake visually stunning, it was also delicious! We visited several bakeries before deciding on Johnson's. We chose wisely. We both recommend them 100%.

Magical just magical. Yumi created the most beautiful wedding cake I could have ever imagined. I want to start my review talking about Yumi! What a sweet kind amazing woman. She was absolutely incredible to work with. You can tell she loves what she does and she does is so well and so beautifully and takes such pride. I came to her with a unique request for my wedding cake and several different pictures of what I was trying to create. I wasn’t quite sure it was possible. Yumi took one look at my ideas and said “I got this” and OMG did she. She created a cake that took my breath away. It was more incredible and beautiful than what I envisioned. And the flavors!!! The hardest part of the cake experience was narrowing down which flavor was the best. We finally decided on chocolate with oreo filling for the bottom layer and keylime for the middle and top layers. Everyone was RAVING about the cake! PLEASE look no further for the best tasting cake and the most amazing people to work with for any special occasion. They will bring your vision to life.

Johnson’s cakes was a pleasure to work with! Yumi designed our wedding cake EXACTLY how we envisioned it. The cake tasting was so much fun and she was realistic about how many people could eat from each tier, which flavors would blend well together, and what the design we wanted would look like. She was prompt the day of and when we arrived to the ballroom, the cake was perfect. You can trust Yumi will do a fantastic job and you will have nothing to worry about. We highly recommend! Yumi is the absolute sweetest! She is very responsive and ensures that she makes exactly what you want. We had to postpone our wedding by a year- initially we had a different cake vendor and we were not thrilled by it. We met with Yumi a year later and we struggled to pick a flavor because ALL of her cakes are so good! Every single one of our guests thought the cake was deliscious and gorgeous!! I literally can't say enough wonderful things about Yumi and Johnson's Custom Cakes!! She is just the best!!! Thank you for making our dream cake ♡

Too many times wedding cakes are beautiful but lack that WOW when you eat them....NOT these cakes!!!It was the Best wedding cake ever!!!Delicious, moist and beautiful!!!Yumi went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The Italian Cookie cake flavor and raspberry filling was incredible as was the other tier of Chocolate Capuccino cake with cookie dough filling....everyone ate their cake and were looking for more!!!!The dessert table was also outstanding!!!!!Wish I had some now!

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND EXTREMELY POOR ATTITUDE. I made an appointment over a month in advance for a cake tasting for our wedding scheduled for 2022. When I first spoke to Yumi; she reacted with a bad attitude when I asked her a question about cake design...everyone has a bad day sometimes...so I disregarded the bad attitude. The day of the cake tasting appointment Yumi called me to come in an hour earlier then my scheduled appointment time. We arrived 20 minutes early to the new appointment time. I called to let her know we arrived and she told us she was running late so she couldn't see us any sooner. When we walked in for our scheduled appointment (the one she asked us to come in earlier then planned) she responded with an attitude AGAIN! Not even apologetic that she asked us to come in early and wasn't on time herself. After the repeated behavior we decided this was NOT someone we were going to work with for our wedding. Your wedding day is a special day your vendors shouldn't be giving you a hard time even before you sit down for a tasting. That's a bad sign before even starting! If you want someone that will treat you with a BAD ATTITUDE and with ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE this is your place!

Most gorgeous and delicious wedding cake ever! It was even better than the inspiration pictures I had provided them. Everyone raved about how delicious the funfetti cake with cookie dough filling was!

Everyone raved about the cake! We had a 4 layer, 2 flavor cake with buttercream frosting. One flavor was red velvet with a raspberry filling and the other was their signature flavor which has coconut flavoring with a lemony filling. The cake was moist and delicious. We didn't have any special decoration and when they delivered the cake they decorated it with flowers from our florist and a cake topper we bought. We loved the cake! They are a very busy bakery so make sure to go for your cake tasting as soon as possible and book your cake!

Johnson’s Custom Cakes did an incredible job for our wedding cake! One of the first things I noticed when I walked into the reception was the absolute stunner of a cake they made. It looked exactly like the photos on Pinterest! I wanted an all buttercream cake without fondant and they made it look elegant and polished. Our flavors were red velvet and cookie dough and our family raved about both. I’m also gluten sensitive and they were extremely accommodating. I had a side cake made gluten free so I could enjoy the night without stomach pain. 10/10 service and our cake was delicious!

My wedding cake was so beautiful and tasted SO good!! This cake company is the one you need to make your wedding cake dreams come true!! From the cake tasting, to creating/designing it, they took their time and were so efficient and talented I can’t thank them enough for everything they did! Great tasting cake with so many great flavors to choose from! The design was beautiful and looked just as we had imagined! Communication between the vendor and client could have been better, but it wasn’t a big issue. The owner also suggested not saving the top tier (since it never tastes as good) and she would have the top tier baked freshly for our one year! Very sweet!

Johnson's Cakes was the cake vendor used by our venue (Pelican Club). We were incredibly happy. The tasting was great and since they were a little late due to a traffic accident, they gave us a themed groom's cake for free. Our guests are still raving about the cake. It was the best wedding cake we've ever tasted. The design was perfect as well. I highly recommend Johnson's custom cakes!

How spectacular! My daughter just had her wedding in Wellington. They designed my daughters wedding cake duplicating a picture we found in Pinterest and it was more beautiful than we could have imagined. It tasted amazing and all our guests said it was best cake they had ever tasted. The grooms cake was perfect too depicting the grooms favorite football team and favorite fried chicken eatery. So cute! It was a big hit! Highly recommend them!

I can't say enough about Jennifer and her team at Johnson's Custom Cakes! For my daughter's wedding we did a three tier naked cake and also a full dessert bar. The guests at the wedding are still talking about how beautiful and delicious everything was. I am now in the process of planning a baby shower for my daughter and can't wait to use them again.

We just got married in June at the Waterstone Resort and Marina and Johnson's Custom Cakes did an unbelievable job on our cake! Jennifer sat right down with us and wanted to know our theme and the details of our wedding. With just a few descriptions of details she had the sketch and design made up on on paper in no time! She was even able to make a small side cake to match for my husband who has a dairy allergy. We were absolutely blown away by the finished product! Our guests are still talking about our cake and it tasted delicious, just like the sample tastings tasted! I would hands down use Johnson's Cakes again in a heartbeat for my next special occasion. I write this review as my husband and I are recovering from our binge session on our top tier wayyy before our one year anniversary...it was that good, we couldn't wait! Their designs were beautiful and exactly what we wanted, and their flavors were all out of this world. I have to give them a special thank you for working within our budget and still going above and beyond for us. I will absolutely be a return customer!

Awesome cake! We met with Jennifer several months prior to our wedding to come up with our cake design including tasting. A few days before, she contacted us personally to make sure everything was still the same. Everyone that attended the wedding loved the cake! It was also very stunning to look while simple as well. Highly recommend!

My wedding was last weekend and I can not describe how happy I am with my cake. I went in the shop and met with Jennifer to discuss my vision. We tasted the cakes as she drew up my design. It was the easiest process in my whole wedding planning. I was worried I may have choose to quickly, but that was not the case. Not only was my cake absolutely gorgeous, it tasted like heaven. My groom ate 3 pieces the night of the wedding and wants to eat the cake top now instead of waiting. A guest also posted a picture of the cake on social media and I received a ton of compliments. I highly recommend them if you want a masterpiece and a cake that tastes delicious.

I called up Johnson’s Custom Cakes just one month before my April 13 wedding to ask about a custom groomscake. I was so nervous that I wouldn’t get any offers so close to the wedding, but Johnson’s Custom Cakes responded immediately! I had asked for a very intricate cake (the DeLorean car from Back to the Future) and Jennifer and her team surely delivered. It was one of the highlights of the wedding. (And tasted ABSOLUTELY delicious!). Johnson’s Custom Cakes pays attention to every detail and can design the most perfect cake you could ask for. I would highlight recommend Johnson’s Custom Cakes to anyone!

Jennifer at Johnson's was so very helpful and creative when our brains were completely in Wedding Planning overdrive! she helped pick out the most incredible flavors for our Pie Bar which was the highlight of the wedding i think!! They followed up before the wedding to confirm details, delivery, and any other last minute additions. The cake and pies showed up perfect in every way!

I used Johnson's Custom Cakes for my wedding cake and I couldn't have been happier. The 5-tier cake was GORGEOUS and covered in fondant rosettes, and guests were **raving** about how delicious the cake was!!! Their cake is scrumptious and the frosting and buttercream....drooollll. They created a custom shimmery champagne/ivory color for me and worked with me to come up with a beautiful design. I have a gluten allergy so when we went in for the tasting I was expecting my fiance to be trying everything for me, but to my surprise they had a separate gluten free tasting tray for me!! Let's just say I left the store with quite the sugar rush =) They were so kind and created a gluten free top layer on my cake, AND, they even created a second gluten free tier, separate from the cake, to freeze and eat next year on our anniversary. Thank you so much for making me feel special and for the perfect cake!!!!

My wedding cake was absolutely beautiful and delicious. Truly a statement piece. I got pricing from many different bakers, and this was the most fair price. Jennifer was also amazing to work with- so organized and skilled, but also so kind.

Jennifer and Johnson's Custom Cakes are the best! We recently worked with her to design our wedding cake. We had the opportunity to taste the different cake flavor options and choose which we wanted. She also drew up a sketch of what our cake would look like during the cake tasting meeting. The cake came out amazing, tasted great and looked beautiful. The cake from this bakery is some of the BEST tasting cake we have ever had. We had some very specific ideas in mind but she did a great job of bringing it to life. We asked her to make the vanilla a rainbow swirl and it looked so delicious!!! It was so gorgeous and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it! We are so excited to eat our top tier on our anniversary!

We're so lucky that Johnson's Custom Cakes came with our wedding package. Even though the cake was part of the package, we still got to fully customize our wedding cake with the flavors, colors, and total design! The cannoli filling with vanilla cake and pineapple coconut filling in a coconut cake were absolutely amazing. Our guests all commented on how much they loved the flavors and how beautiful the cake turned out. Can't thank the team at Johnson's enough!

OMG! Just OMG! Fall wedding with one layer strawberry shortcake and another pumpkin?! Um, yes please for bringing the flavor and beauty to our wedding. The design was off the charts gorgeous. I mean I know no wedding is perfect, but like ours was and the cake was the icing of the night. Thank you so much for bringing to life my vision. Jennifer and her team are AMAZING at what they do and her work is truly art. She is extremely friendly, professional, flexible, honest and loyal. . BEYOND talented!!!! Johnson's Custom Cakes came in about 2 weeks before my wedding after I was unable to use a family friend to bake my cake and SAVED THE DAY! They provided us with a gorgeous and delicious wedding cake. We got so many compliments about the cake, especially the guava filling!

I contacted the baker for a quote on a faux cake as our venue already provides a presliced cake. I was told that she could not make a faux cake since the venue was provided the actual cake for liability reasons, which is BS. God forbid some got sick from eating the cake of course we’d pursue the venue and not the baker as they didn’t make the cake. I just wanted to share, because of her poor business ethic, I see I’m not the first to make a complaint.

Johnson's Custom Cakes is the BEST!!!!! My husband and I fell in love during our tasting and we knew at that time....THIS IS IT!!! Jennifer put all of my ideas and colors into a wedding cake that I dreamed of! Now, lets talk about the taste! Wow! Wow! Wow! --that's a understatement. Not only did my husband and I enjoyed the cake, my guests did as well! The cake was so moist, the sweetness was just right and it looked BEAUTIFUL!!! I would recommend Johnson Custom Cakes 10 times over. You will not be disappointed!

Delicious! I’m allergic to dairy products and my groom did not want a vegan cake, but I did. Low and behold Johnson’s Custom Cakes went above and beyond to give us both what we wanted. I got a gorgeous and elegant cake that was perfectly matched with our overall wedding and my groom got a delicious tasting cake that all of our guests loved. I also got my dream of vegan cupcakes, which my groom and I swapped at the cake cutting instead of a slice of cake. The cupcakes were a beautiful addition with rose icing decoration on top. I also requested that the top (anniversary) layer be vegan, but they didn’t want it to ruin the overall look since the icing would be a different color so they gave us that top layer as a vegan cake separately and included the top layer for the guests. Basically Johnson’s Custom Cakes went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and got everything we wanted. I’m very impressed by the professionalism and excellent tasting cakes as well as how easy it was working with them. Johnson’s Custom Cakes is the best cake vendor in South Florida. Definitely recommend them!!!

It was an absolute pleasure to work with the team at Johnson's Custom Cakes! Our venue happens to work with them and our cake was included, but even if that weren't the case, I would do it over again and not change a thing. The tasting and initial consultation to design the cake was so easy - which is a blessing when you are an out-of-town bride. They were super responsive and worked with my husband and I to give us the cake of our dreams, which as it turns out, was a tower of cupcakes! They let us choose around 7 different flavors since they were all SO DELICIOUS and even sent my husband home with an extra of his favorite one after our meeting :-) Everything looked terrific and tasted even better than it looked! Thank you for everything.

If I gave them a review based on the flavor and presentation of my cake they would get a 10 out of 5 because it came out so perfect and the cake had the best flavor ever and was so light!!!! It was very hard to get in contact with them and I was a little worried when I hadn't heard from them. But when I saw my cake at my reception I was just blown away!!! The cake came as part of my package from PGA which was awesome!

Our wedding cake from Johnson’s Custom Cakes was beyond what we were expecting. We had 4 layers, 2 chocolate and 2 coconut rum. It was the most delicious cake we’ve ever had. They did an amazing job of making it look exactly how we envisioned. They even gave us extra carrot cake cupcakes because my husband and my mom love carrot cake. They are the best to work with, and I’d highly recommend them for anyone’s wedding cake!

Best wedding cake ever and not just because we were the ones getting married! Great service so professional will use again for birthdays and parties! Guests still mention the amazing cake from our big day!

This lady was horrible to deal with. Jennifer Johnson did not follow through with anything that she said she was going to do on time, and kept making lame excuses as to why things weren’t getting done; so we ended up asking for a refund. She said she would give us our money back, but again, MORE excuses as to why we weren’t receiving our money when she said we would have it. We finally ended up filing a dispute with our bank (which we won, thankfully), but I doubt we would have ever gotten our money back willingly from her. Don’t waste your $ or your time here, the cake we sampled at our tasting was nothing special anyway.

Jennifer and the Johnson’s team are awesome and true professionals! We had our wedding at PGA National (Johnson's was included in our package) and the entire process was seamless, start to finish. Jennifer and her team were able to bring our vision to life; our cake was four tiers with alternating flowers and eucalyptus. It was beautiful and delicious!! We did alternating flavored tiers - red velvet with cookies n cream ganache; and vanilla almond with Nutella/hazelnut ganache. Our guests were raving about how delicious it was!! Highly recommend Johnson’s - you won’t be disappointed!

Johnson’s Custom Cakes was recommended to me by my wedding venue. After doing a tasting with them and another bakery, my husband and I decided to hire Johnson’s Custom Cakes because of the texture of their cake and the flavor combinations. Jennifer (the owner and head baker) took our ideas and aesthetic into consideration and recommended 3 cakes (instead of one) in coordinating designs and each with its own flavor. I’m also happy to say that the cakes looked as beautiful as they were delicious. During and after the wedding everyone kept telling us how delicious the cakes were. (My husband’s and my favorite was the vanilla cake with pineapple and coconut swiss meringue and pineapple puree). I’m so glad I hired them for my wedding cakes and I’m already looking forward to asking them to replicate the top tier for our anniversary.

Jennifer did my wedding cake. The cake was beautiful, it was ocean style with starfish and blue ombre color. The taste was beyond delicious, it was coconut and pinapple and it was so moist and tender. I saved the top layer in the freezer and I can't wait to eat it next year. Jennifer Johnson was one of four different cake vendors we met with and our favorite by a mile. Everything she did was what we wanted. From the get-go we sat down, and told her our vision/ideas and she was already drawing and coming up with different designs. The tasting was hands down one of our favorites. The day of the tasting there was a frosting choice we did not know about but were interested in trying, so Jennifer ran to back and made it on the spot! She also gave us some extra cake to be able to share with families at home, which was nice for them to be able to try rather than us simply trying to explain it. Her pricing is extremely reasonable, especially considering the quality of the taste, the appearance and decorations. We highly recommend her!
