We booked JM for our engagement shoot and wedding photos and were extremely happy with how everything turned out. We enjoyed how relatable she was and her personality throughout the day of the wedding. Being a team of only one, we were impressed that she was able to deliver the photos within a short timeline. For many photographers, this is a second career and so we were very understanding of any delays in communication. Thank you JM for everything! We hope she is able to expand and can make this a full time career.

JM was extremely helpful and responded within hours when we first started corresponding (about a year out from our wedding date). Roughly six months before the wedding, we first had trouble getting in contact with her. On the big day, she showed up on time, was extremely nice, and we didn't feel awkward at all. Our contract stated within 3-4 weeks, we'd receive our pictures, which is where we had an issue. I tried text, call, email, Instagram, and even Facebook to contact her and nothing worked. 13 weeks after our wedding, we finally got our pictures. We were extremely happy with the results. Everyone thought our pictures were beautiful and it definitely captured our favorite parts of our wedding day.

Joy-Marie was the most amazing photographer ever at our wedding!!!. I just recently got married at club lake plantation and she manages to stay focused and capture the most memorable moments. She takes her work very seriously, has an amazing vision, and not once did she slack, or made you feel not important. I couldn’t have asked for a better photographer to capture one of the most important days of our lives. She truly has a gift, I highly recommend her you will be so happy with the results.

Joy-Marie was amazing from start to finish! She was very detailed in asking questions to understand what we wanted on our wedding day even though we were kind of an open book. She made the day so fun and easy and the photos came out AMAZING!!!! She was very creative and professional on the day of and she really snapped some great moments! Hiring Joy-Marie was one of the best decisions we made during our wedding adventure. She was great to work with, knew what she was doing, and most importantly - is a very good photographer. I found Joy on The Knot and was lead to her website, and instantly knew she was the "one"! I felt like she was so chill and laid back, and she was! To start off, her portfolio is amazing and that was the main reason we chose her. Her pricing is GREAT! When I contacted her, she was really nice and patient with the whole process. On the day of the engagement party, of course I was running super late and Joy was so patient and told me to take my time and not to worry. She was extremely patient with my fiancé and I, helping us with all the poses and fixing this and that.
