I couldn't imagine our wedding without JYS! Raquel was an incredible asset to our planning process, assisting us for the two months before the wedding as our Day Of Coordinator. Although she did not officially serve in a planning role, she was very responsive in answering questions and preparing us for the day. Raquel was EXCEPTIONAL. For a detail oriented bride myself, she really blew it out of the water. We worked with Raquel for our June wedding and she and her team were a wonderful support in a stressful process! We went with the two month coordination package but I wish we'd gone with at least the three month option, because that first meeting with Raquel took such a huge load off our shoulders and I wish I'd felt that relief sooner! I had sort of assumed that going with the cheapest, shortest coordination package would mean we would be handled by a junior coordinator, but Raquel herself was our point person, there with us every step of the way and she never made us feel like we had anything less than her full attention and energy. She confidently talked us through every part of the wedding celebrations and made sure that we were covering all the bases - including plenty of aspects we hadn't even thought of. One of the (many) reasons we went with Just Say Yes was Raquel's background in logistics - and those skills were immediately apparent. She easily took the reins on coordinating all our various vendors - even those that only ever gave us general emails or worked with third-party delivery services, and her master spreadsheet was really helpful for tracking and recording all the tasks ahead. She was also great at keeping our procrastinator selves on track, and dealing with our inevitable last-minute asks. She's also the FASTEST texter on the planet, which is really helpful when you're panicking! Just Say Yes was recommended by our venue, and was already familiar with almost every vendor we worked with. On the day-of, she was a confident, calm presence with a sunny attitude (even in the face of my extreme stress and nerves) that was truly appreciated. We really felt the depth of her skill and experience and knew we were in good hands from the first time we talked with her - I'd work with Just Say Yes again in a heartbeat!

Raquel provided valuable insight and recommendations leading up to my wedding date and completely put me at ease. She helped create a wedding day timeline for me, assisted with rehearsal and was present for our venue walk-through. Raquel and her team are fantastic. We hired Raquel for partial planning for our wedding; from the get-go, she was organized, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. She helped us find our caterer (who was excellent) and organized our tasting and our rentals with them -- it was a huge load off of our minds to have her help take care of that vendor. Once we got closer to the actual day, Raquel was on top of everything. She set up a walk through of the venue, kept us on track with all of the nitty-gritty details, and had recommendations for any vendor we could have imagined (truly above and beyond what we could have expected). The day itself went off without a hitch -- we had been so stressed in the days leading up to the wedding with last-minute changes and cancellations from guests, but once the wedding day started everything was smooth sailing. We had some last-minute requests due to guest changes and Raquel didn't miss a beat! We truly felt we could relax and just enjoy our wedding because every last detail had been meticulously planned and attended to. I would recommend Raquel and her team for anyone planning a wedding -- worth every penny!!!

I truly do not have the words to express how amazing Raquel and her team are! We opted for the wedding coordination package and were just blown away by her level of service that she provides! From the start, Raquel was polite, professional, and helped ease my worries...even before the package had officially begun. Once it was go time, she sent me the most wonderful spreadsheet. Everything was SO thorough, she really had thought of everything!!!! She also went above and beyond, picking up our desserts on the day of the wedding when we couldn't fine anyone else to step in and help us out. I know everybody says this...but our day was truly PERFECT thanks to Raquel and her team. The ceremony time was 5:30 on our invites, and at 5:20 she had everyone was lined up and ready to go! Throughout the night, she checked in on me and my husband to make sure everything was going well. Towards the end of the night, a few of my guests started getting rowdy and Raquel handled it like nobody else could! I seriously did not even know that anything happened until my mom told me about it the next morning. When people ask me, "What was one thing you would change or that didn't go well the day of your wedding?" My response is always, "NOTHING!!!" I have nobody but Raquel to thank for that. If you're looking for a coordinator, look no further! I can only imagine what her planning packages must be like!!!!!! I also just have to mention that she is such a wonderfully kind human, even outside of her work. I am a teacher and posted an Amazon wishlist to my Instagram for my friends to see, and Raquel purchased materials for my classroom! <3 It was so thoughtful. Raquel, Brent and I cannot thank you enough for making our wedding so special. Over a month later, we are still in awe when we think back to that most perfect day!

Raquel and the Just Say Yes team are incredible! We hired her as a coordinator for our wedding and we are so, so grateful that we did. We had our wedding this past June in a "raw space" venue with both indoor and outdoor spaces, and had to coordinate across all of the different vendors we were bringing in along with many family members. Raquel was so great at reading the room and really working with every different personality involved in our wedding from the first day we met her. She eased all of our planning stress in the last 2 months leading up to the wedding by helping us with our timeline, providing final design and planning recommendations, and even hooking us up with an awesome upgrade with one of our vendors! On the day of the wedding, Raquel and her team ensure every little detail ran so smoothly for us. After the wedding, we found out there had been a few small hiccups come up throughout the day (as is generally the case with large events), but we had no idea because she handled them so swiftly and smoothly that no one even noticed! We are so grateful for her amazing work and how seamless our day was.

Raquel and her team executed our ambitious vision with care and attentiveness. Our vision included a Japanese traditional sake ritual, the groom performing with a Mariachi band, a separate late night jazz jam session, and sushi bar combined with our main catering, all at a venue that had an incredible view of the NY skyline, but was also subject to potential rain (thank goodness it didn't), and all were executed well thanks to her and her team. We had her for the two month coordination, and from the start she was very helpful with advice that we had no experience in, and was able to provide any resources and tools that we did not have the capacity for, especially towards the last few days before the big day. On the day of, she led the way with consistent communication and when there were any hiccups, she had a plan and made sure we were on board. We could not be more thankful to Raquel and her all-star team for her exceptional month-of-coordination of our wedding in September. We were hosting a multi-venue, dance floor-centric, love-letter-to-Brooklyn celebration and Raquel understood our vision and made sure our day was beautiful, flawless, and just SO damn fun. It was no easy task with the mix of vendors and DIY/friend supported aspects of our wedding, not to mention making our multilingual and ESL guests feel welcome, but Raquel killed it. She was super attentive during our walk through and subsequent timeline planning, asking us questions and giving us expert advice on the flow of the day. When the day came, we felt completely supported and taken care of. She adapted the flow of events to our mood, like giving us a moment alone from our guests when we needed it, corralling family for some last minute adds to our photo shot list, and letting us stay with our guests and forego some of the formalities we no longer felt like doing. We could go on and on. Just Say Yes was among the best decisions we made for our wedding and we cannot recommend Raquel enough!

I HAD LITERALLY THE PERFECT WEDDING BECAUSE OF JSY NY! The team was quick on their feet, helped with anything and everything I needed, and really helped my nontraditional and creative visions come to life. We opted for JSY's month-of coordination which was exactly the point in time we needed someone to swoop in and pull it all together. Her communication was always quick, clear and helpful, wiping away any stress we had leading up to the big day. We got married at Dobbin St where couples are bringing in their vendors, decor, etc., so we were looking for someone who 1) knew the space and venue extremely well, and 2) understood our vision, which included bringing multiple favorite Brooklyn restaurants to cater (vs. one catering company who does it all). Raquel helped us work through the final details and supported each decision we made with her intimate knowledge of Dobbin and our vendors who she's worked with many times before. On the day of, we didn't have to worry about a thing. It all came together thanks to Raquel and JSY. It was truly magical to see our vision come together on the day-of, and we're so grateful that Raquel made that happen. 10/10, highly recommend Raquel & Just Say Yes!!!

Of the 17+ vendors we worked with in our multi-day wedding celebrations, Raquel was the MVP. I have never left a written review online but I felt compelled to do so because of how good of job Raquel did for us. To start, at the beginning of our wedding planning process, we made it our goal for us to be fully present during our events and for the process to not overwhelm us. Raquel was the single biggest factor in making those wishes come true. Weeks before the wedding we were feeling relaxed and ready-to-go. We were so prepared that we working regular work days right up to the start of our wedding weekend. Raquel is an excellent communicator. She responds quickly via email and text and ensured that our vendors were on-point and ready-to-deliver every step of the way. She is organized and comes well-prepared - she consistently showed-up to all of our meetings a few minutes early. Lastly, without a doubt, Raquel helped us stretch the value of our dollar by optimizing the use of the venue spaces and by helping us avoid unnecessary expenses on many occasions. We highly, highly, highly recommend working with Raquel!

I highly recommend Raquel to anyone getting married. It was such a pleasure to work with her that it actually did not feel like work. I am a person that likes to be punctual and likes to have things run on time. Extremely easy to work with. Anything that I wanted to do as far as being creative. She was open to all ideas. Through the course of the day you could see that she was always behind the bride and groom within viewing distance but at the same time not imposing her will. She was constantly calling all the vendors and the bride and groom to make sure that they still maintain and follow the timeline accordingly. Even though we were like 10 minutes late she still was gracious with the entire staff. I honestly cannot recommend someone that does not work like Raquel. It made a 10 hour day felt like five hours

Raquel put in a ton of hard work and dedication to make our wedding day perfect, and it was. When my wife and I look back on that day all we remember is feeling pure joy, excitement, and having an insanely good time with our family and friends. From keeping us both calm and sane, to keeping track of every little detail, to staying on top of our vendors; she delivered and then some on being "the" go-to-person not only on our wedding day but in the weeks leading up. She was super accessible and talked us through all of our concerns and questions (multiple times). Last and not least, she helped to foster a bright and positive environment for us and our guests and we are so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with her.

After 20 months, 3 postponements, and a coordinator who moved on to other things, Raquel stepping in. She did a great job, including finding us a new DJ morning of the event when ours called in sick! My daughter, son-in-law and I can't thank her enough! The party was amazing. Despite some pre-party hiccups (beyond any of our control), all went smoothly.

Where to start! We got engaged in the beginning of 2020 and first thing we wanted to check off was a wedding planner, especially after going thru the pandemic. We wanted some who was: Organized, task orientated, managed events in various settings, someone who took charge. We also wanted someone who understood how important it was to incorporate our cultures together, who will get how to blend tradition with modern and keep our integrity.   What we got was this and so much more: Raquel met every single thing and more!! After a month of searching and several failed interviews I was recommended Raquel. I had no background info on her or her company but I was willing to give it try. Within hours of emailing her we set a time for a call and we hit it off! Raquel was straight forward, she explained that she has been in the wedding business for many many years but 2021 she was going to start out on her own. She provided me with info of her employer knowing well that I could have gone to them instead, but she was extremely transparent and we really appreciate that. She then led with her background in management and event planning. We spoke about being BIPOC and how important that is to her and the clients she serves. We hit it off within 5 minutes on the phone, I gave her my vision of mixing Mexican/Ecuadorian cultures with a modern twist and she was on it. She was coming with ideas that I also had and I knew then that she was the one to make our wedding a reality. We started planning in Nov 2020 and married in Oct 2021. Raquel was always communicating with us, searched vendors for us, handled the contracts and communication, had deadlines set up, kept us in budget. We were on a shared google drive that had every detail of our wedding. She was readily available leading to the month before, she was a text, call away. She kept it real, she knew when to say "hey maybe we can try something else out" I loved it, she had a back up plan for everything! She also kept in mind our families and how important it was to show our families how a 1st generation couple can still keep our roots but also embrace our cultural backgrounds. She also knew how important a timeline was especially with my friends and family who run late to everything haha. Raquel was a true blessing. On the big day she and her team were amazing, always made sure I was happy and taken cared of. Things probably went wrong but I had no idea, that's how smooth the day went for us.  We spent many months planning this wedding Raquel has become much more than our planner but a true friend, she had our backs and we wish her all the best in her company. We are truly honored to have had Just Say Yes conduct our wedding!!!!

Oh Raquel.. where can I even begin? An absolute gem, let’s start there. Raquel came recommended by our venue, Dobbin St, and her intimate knowledge of the venue and their team was invaluable as we moved forward with her services. Hiring Just Say Yes NY was one of the best decisions we could have made regarding our wedding day. Raquel’s extensive experience, get-it-done attitude, and connections in the NYC area truly make her a powerhouse resource. Raquel also provided us recommendations for a florist within our budget, who also did phenomenal work. She had also previously worked with our caterer, which made things even more smooth than we could have imagined. Raquel went above and beyond any expectations we could have had. We had no idea what all wedding planning entailed. We used the partial planning and day of coordination services and we would have done full planning had we known better! These services are absolutely essential for a stress-free wedding day! Raquel is extremely knowledgeable and organized with shared Google documents, making keeping up with the never-ending wedding tasks a breeze. She was there for whatever questions we had during the process; hosting a wedding can be very daunting and it was a relief to have Raquel there to walk us through. Where Raquel really shined was during the creation of the wedding day timeline, it really is the single most important thing on a day that seemingly flies by! Raquel and her assistant were by our sides throughout our day, while simultaneously taking care of absolutely everything, including managing the various vendors and wedding guests, behind the scenes. The day of execution did not disappoint and we have Raquel and her team at Just Say Yes NY to thank for the best day of our lives!
