I can’t say enough good things about Kanapaha Botanical Gardens. The garden itself is so beautiful, there is so many different and unique aspects to the garden. Between the all the different plants they grow, the ponds where you can feed the koi, the view of Kanapaha River, and all the Instagram worthy photo opportunities there really is something for everyone to enjoy. The beauty of the garden is one thing but it doesn’t compare to having a staff that is super attentive and kind. Mischella was who I communicated with the most but she was super helpful in responding to all my questions. She has been very patient with me and really gone above and beyond to ensure that I had all the information I was looking for. I do not live near the venue so I wasn’t able to go down as much as I wanted but Mischella has been very thorough so it never caused any issues. The staff has been amazing every time we have gone to visit. They are always super kind and very helpful. We were able to go the garden a few times before the wedding and found out something new every single time. Our guest were astonished at how marvelous everything looked. We saved a ton in decor because the garden is pretty just by itself. There is so many different areas to explore and our guest had so much fun getting to see everything. It definitely created a unique and fun wedding. Throughout the day everyone kept saying how much the venue gave them fairy garden vibes which was exactly what I was going for. My wedding was perfect and I think you should give Kanapaha the chance to hold your perfect wedding.
The Gardens are absolutely stunning, and the staff was helpful in setting up and keeping guests directed during the arrival and reception stages.
We just got married at Kanapaha Botanical Gardens in November and they were wonderful to work with. Adam (the former event manager) was responsive to my million emails about different date availability. He took us on a nice tour around the gardens to find the perfect spot. When he left, Michelle checked in to make sure we turned in our layouts on time.
As far as location goes, it was beautiful and amazing. We really wanted to be out in nature for our ceremony and this offered the best option in Gainesville. We didn't even need flowers on the rows of chairs at our site. We chose the wedding oak. The weather in November was perfect. We had the reception inside in the room with all the windows. We loved having the kitchen for our cocktail hour and people were able to hang on the porch. Overall, I would highly recommend Kanapaha Botanical Gardens!
It was absolutely perfect! They have such a a beautiful area to not just get married but to also take our pictures. Everyone was in awe of how pretty everything was. Thank you so much Kanapaha!
We fell in love with Kanapaha the first time we went, we got engaged there and married there! It was a beautiful ceremony and the move to our rain plan for the reception was flawless. Adam and the team were so helpful and accommodating! I would highly recommend this as a venure for an outdoor wedding or outdoor/indoor reception!!
This venue is perfect for an organic "Green" wedding. The gardens are perfect for pictures and the venue can be designed exactly to what you are looking for.
The location was great! The botanical gardens were very lovely to walk through. Everyone had a great time. It was easy to get to and plenty of room to park. The staff there was very nice and accommodating.;The place is really good for small weddings, say 100 people or less. Anything bigger and there wouldn't be enough space.
