Wow… Wow… WOW! I would give the kent state hotel and conference center 5 stars! Our event from start to finish was truly amazing and the staff at this hotel played a major role in that. Brittney was the coordinator with the hotel and made planning our wedding there so much easier! My husband and I are both gluten free and they were very accommodating to this! The food and drinks on the day of were amazing! The staff was so friendly and kind. We also got ready at the hotel and we’re able to use to board room the morning of. All of our rooms in our block were also here. The rooms were clean and nice! It was so nice being close to downtown to continue the celebration after! I would recommend the kent state hotel to anyone! It was a great experience for our wedding day!

We used the hotel for our wedding ceremony and reception and everything was wonderful. I worked with Mary and Brittany for planning, and they were very responsive and had everything running smoothly the day of. I appreciated that they hosted a group event for tasting the food options, so we got to try a lot of different dishes before picking the final menu. They also went the extra mile to print out detailed menu signs for the dinner so that all allergens were clearly listed for those guests with dietary restrictions. The hotel rooms are also nice and having a block of rooms already reserved was great for our guests. I am so glad we chose the hotel for our wedding venue!

We are so pleased with our experience with Mary and the Kent State Hotel and Conference Center team for our wedding day. The venue is modern and absolutely beautiful, and was very spacious for our 180 guests for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. The hotel offers a variety of wedding packages based on your wants and needs, and each was able to be modified to fit any of our requests. Having our wedding hosted by a hotel created such an easy flow for our guests, and the rooms there are just beautiful. The planning process was smooth as Mary coordinated with many of our outside vendors leading up to the wedding. On our wedding day, every detail was taken care of for us. The team provided all of the set up and tear down with our vendors exactly how we imagined it, which truly put us at ease, and allowed us to really enjoy our special day. The food was great, and we received such kind feedback from our guests on the entire experience. We highly recommend the Kent State Hotel and Conference Center for your wedding day.
