Beth at Kismet was the best investment we made during our entire wedding planning process. From our first meeting, we knew she would be creative, down to earth, organized and provide real advise to us throughout the process. I planned my MN wedding from Chicago and Beth was always available to attend meetings with my mother on my behalf of me since I couldn’t be there. On top of being professional, Beth’s personality is amazing. She is always positive, funny and helpful. The day and the whole year of planning could not have gone more smooth with Beth and Kismet Group! She was always available for an email or meeting to chat about any wedding decisions. Beth and her team were absolutely amazing! She came along to our vendor meetings that we requested, and provided great insights by asking questions we wouldn't have even thought of. My biggest thing was the day of I wanted to truly enjoy the day and not worry about a single thing - that definitely happened as I trusted Beth 110% to handle anything that didn't go according to plan and I never had any doubt that she would make the best decisions. She also took the time to get to know my husband and I, which allowed her to make decisions that she knew we would love. She had great recommendations for all vendors we contacted, and it resulted in us talking to them once to make sure we liked them, and not having to spend extra time talking to other vendors to determine who was the best one. Overall, when I am asked now about if having a wedding planner is worth it, I without any hesitation say ABSOLUTELY. She provided great advice during the wedding planning process, and let my husband I relax and soak in our wedding day. She took care of all the logistics for us. Plus, she was so fun to be around and has a calming presence that is contagious!

Beth was amazing to work with. She was so helpful in providing reassurances and advice during the planning. I never would have had such a well thought out and helpful timeline without her. On the day of it was such a relief to have someone else do the decor set up and breakdown. Everything looked beautiful and my friends and family were able to relax and enjoy the day rather than rush to assemble things in a tight timeline. Also, there were a few minor upsets during the day that she was able to oversee and problem solve allowing us to just enjoy our guests and the day we'd worked so hard to plan. I can't say enough great things honestly.

We weren’t going to have a coordinator at first but boy were we glad we did. Beth at Kismet was recommended to us by a friend and I know for a fact the day would not have gone as smoothly as it did if she wasn’t there! She did everything from running errands for us, making sure everything was going according to schedule the day of, coordinated with all our vendors, decorated, helped get the flower girl to go down the asile, & really just ran the show which took all the stress off us so we could enjoy our day. Throughout the planning process, Beth made herself available to answer any questions I had, day or night. She is really the nicest person ever and is so good at what she does. One of the best decisions we made during our planning process!!

Working with Beth was exactly what I needed to help plan (and execute) our wedding. I live out of state, so having her be available over email and phone was very helpful throughout the process. She was willing to meet up anytime that I was back home for other wedding appointments to go through timeline, vendor information, or other generation questions to keep the process smooth and running. She knows all of the best people to work with in the area and was flexible to hear my ideas and offer advice. Each time we met, Beth took away any stress and refocused my attention back to having fun with the planning process and the importance of the day! On the day of the wedding, she was there to help manage my huge family, keep the evening on track, and attend to all of the vendors. It's difficult to imagine how me and my husband would have been able to 100% enjoy our wedding (oh, and we did!!) and manage everything Beth did. We cannot say enough good things about Kismet. Beth provided that honest perspective you won't find anywhere else. We asked a lot of questions--some that were probably obvious to her but not us--and she answered them truthfully even if it wasn't exactly what we wanted to hear (but needed to hear). She gave answers that were sensitive to our needs and that we're aligned with our vision. She was also great at helping us prioritize. All throughout our engagement and leading up to the wedding, she was so good at letting us know what need to be done and when, taking a lot of the stress away. Her perspective was also incredible. She had unique ideas and creativity but also knew what was feasible for our venue and budget. She worked directly with our vendors and venue to make our dreams come true--and it was seamless! she can really work with anyone in any situation and keep everyone on the same page. During our actual wedding, she kept everything moving and any issue that came up, she handled behind the scenes without worrying us. Kismet is one of the best in the industry. We would recommend her over and over again.

I would 100% recommend Beth and Kismet Event Group! We used them as our day-of coordinators and they were phenomenal. Beth was always quick to respond to questions or ideas and helped us navigate crises (large and small!) the most notable being our caterer going out of business months before our event. She is on top of every detail and really cares that your event is exactly what you want it to be. She was also present from set-up to final tear down, which a lot of other coordinators don't do. When you work with Beth and Kismet, you're not just getting their attention for a certain number of hours, you are getting someone who really wants to make your event incredible. She helped us run our rehearsal as well as our wedding and both were flawless. We also enjoyed her as a person, which was very important to us. If things go wrong at an event, you really have to have faith in the person you're working with, and we can say that was absolutely the case with Beth and Kismet Event Group. Other than saying yes to my husband, Beth was hands down the best decision I made for my wedding. When someone tells you to hire a day of coordinator, do it. And hire Beth. Beth with the Kismet Event Group was our day of coordinator for our recent wedding at Aria Minneapolis. Beth continually went above and beyond to aid in initial planning with vendors, and was in continual constant contact with the vendors and Aria, making sure every last detail was finalized right up to the day of. The day of itself could not have gone smoother. Beth and her team worked diligently behind the scenes to make sure everything fell into place, everything from vendor coordination, helping set up the reception, making sure everyone was in place at the church etc. The day was not stressful at all from a logistical point of view and I'm sure that is because Beth and her team took care of everything in a seamless way.

Beth was a lifesaver! If you want your sanity back, hire a wedding coordinator. If you want an amazing coordinator, hire these guys. Beth was the best money we spent on our wedding!!! I don't know what we would have done without her. She made everything so easy and helped us navigate the planning and day with ease. The event coordinator at the venue we chose was a nightmare to work with, but Beth had experience working with this very challenging person, and stepped in to make sure everything went perfectly. Beth was so fun to work with. We used her wedding planning and day of coordination since we had to "build our venue" from the dance floor up since it was on my parents farm! She was so easy to work with and fun! We also used Watermark Stationary for our stationary needs and was SO happy with the outcome. One Stop Shop, right here! We had Beth as our day coordinator and she was absolutely incredible! She answered so many of my questions, gave help when I needed it and made my husband and I feel reassured about everything. On our wedding day, she brought all the decor and odds and ends to the venue, ran our rehearsal and made sure everything was running smoothly and everyone was doing their job. We seriously cannot thank her enough, we had such a wonderful time on our big day and we owe a lot of that to her! Plus she is like the nicest person ever!! We loved her!!

If its one piece of advice I can give future brides it is to hire wedding planner- and if you live in Minnesota to hire Beth! Initially I was hesitant to hire a wedding planner as I'm very organized and always on top of things. I meet with several other wedding planners and was convinced I didn't need one until I meet with Beth. Beth was amazing and our day went off without a hitch. From the moment I hired her Beth was all hands on deck helping me every step of the way. Not only did she have connections with vendors which ended up saving us money but she also completely understood my vision for the day. We were introduced to Beth through a family member, and hiring Kismet Event Group was the absolute best decision! Beth truly listened to what we wanted and considered all our ideas from the very beginning. She guided us through the planning process with ease. She contacted vendors when we were unavailable. Her recommendation for food and the DJ was spot on! People are still talking the food and the dance floor was never empty! The day of the wedding I woke up without a single worry. Beth was amazing and helped make sure everything was planned perfectly and went off without a hitch. I (the groom) lived in Miami, FL and was unable to attend or help with the majority of the wedding planning. Beth was there to help my wife attend meetings, pick vendors & products, design decorations. We had a high-end wedding that we planned ourselves with very little event planning experience. We hired Beth to be our Day of Coordinator, but she went well beyond day off services. She met us for pre-event planning meetings, reached out to all of our vendors including tracking down those hard to reach, went above and beyond in researching certain ideas we had and in making us feel like our ideas were as good as we thought they were, picked up flowers and made post wedding returns - she was just truly amazing. She was an incredible buffer between us and a challenging venue manager, instilled a perfect sense of peace in us during a stressful time, and was so wonderful our entire wedding party loved her and was giving her a shout out during our thank yous at the reception. We couldn't have been more please with Kismet's services and believe them to be well worth the value! I will surely be referring Kismet to friends in the future.

Kismet events group was beyond amazing for our big day! We were planning a wedding from out of state and hired Beth to take care of the month of wedding coordinating. She was so easy to work with and I was blown away by how organized she was! She made me feel so much better through out the whole process and really went above and beyond to make our day special. She even went to a friends house to pick up and deliver a large wedding gift that would not fit in our cars and made sure we had a gluten free lunch for my bridesmaid with celiacs to eat while we were getting ready! I used Kismet for our wedding in November as our venue required a day or coordinator. Beth was wonderful to work with, we met several times before the wedding to go over logistics and asked several questions. Beth was always organized and I knew I wouldn't have to worry about anything on the day of the wedding. Beth Evans did a fabulous job as our day of planner for our wedding at Aria in December 2013. Being an event planner myself I was so worried that my wedding would be ruined by me overthinking all the details the day of and getting wrapped up in things I didn’t need to be worried about. Kismet Event Group did an excellent job executing our day. Beth was extremely easy to work with and laid back but also very detail oriented and on top of things. She and Chad, her assistant, made sure our day went off without a hitch. We left them with tons of stuff to do on the day-of and they handled it smoothly and with a smile on their face. So despite being a day-of coordinator, she also made herself available during our planning process. We asked her for vendor recommendations and we ended up using both the DJ and the photographer she recommended and both were excellent. I would highly recommend Kismet Event Group, they offer incredible service at a seriously competitive price. They are worth it.

Our wedding planner met us on a cold Minnesota day when we contemplated setting up a tent for a lakeside venue. When we changed that plan, she immediately found other venues. She was at our side for bands, photographers, food tastings, and so much more. Beth came to our house for pick-ups and drop-offs.
