As the Lead Photographer and Creative Director of KS Photography, I oversee every session and wedding day with heart, creativity, and intentionality. My goal is to create a calm, joy-filled experience that allows couples to be fully present while I capture genuine, timeless moments. I handle the full client experience — from the first inquiry to the final gallery — ensuring every couple feels valued, seen, and cared for. I photograph weddings, engagements, and lifestyle sessions, focusing on connection, emotion, and storytelling through natural light and thoughtful direction. Behind the scenes, I manage communication, contracts, and timelines while maintaining a consistent editing style that reflects the heart of my brand — warm, timeless, and full of life. On wedding days, I lead and collaborate with my team — Alex and Meg — to keep the day flowing smoothly so I can focus on creativity and client connection. Together, we make sure every meaningful detail is beautifully documented. Beyond photography, I manage marketing, social media, and brand direction, continually learning and growing to elevate both the client experience and the artistry of KS Photography. My mission is simple: to create a peaceful, joy-filled photography experience that captures the real, in-between moments — the laughter, the emotion, and the beauty that tell each couple’s story for generations to come.

Alex plays a vital role in ensuring each wedding day runs smoothly for both the clients and KS Photography. With her strong background in wedding planning and coordination, she oversees the flow of the day, communicates with vendors and the wedding party, and assists the photographer so the creative process can unfold seamlessly. Her organizational skills, calm presence, and attention to detail allow the Lead Photographer to focus fully on capturing genuine moments, knowing that timelines, logistics, and client comfort are being managed with excellence. Background in wedding planning, event management, or coordination. Key Skills: Strong communication and multitasking skills. Calm under pressure and solution-oriented. Professional appearance and demeanor. Interest in or understanding of photography workflow is a plus.

Meg serves as a part-time assistant for KS Photography, providing hands-on support during photo sessions, weddings, and day-to-day business tasks. Her role ensures that every shoot runs smoothly and efficiently, allowing the Lead Photographer to focus on creativity and connection with clients. With a friendly presence, dependable work ethic, and eye for detail, Meg helps create a calm, professional, and enjoyable experience for both clients and the photography team. Key Responsibilities Assist with setup and breakdown of photography equipment and props. Organize and manage gear, batteries, memory cards, and lighting tools. Help pose or direct clients during shoots when needed. Ensure timelines are followed and help manage the day’s flow. Support the photographer during weddings by holding equipment, adjusting veils or trains, gathering family members for portraits, etc. Capture behind-the-scenes photos or videos for social media content when requested. Maintain professionalism and positivity with clients and vendors. Occasionally assist with administrative or content tasks (gallery prep, organizing files, social media assistance, etc.).
