We got married last year and used Kwon for both our engagement and wedding photos. It was no doubt the best decision ever! Me and my husband are very meticulous people and put in a lot of effort planning our wedding. We reviewed portfolios of tons of photographers and interviewed many before choosing Kwon. Wedding photographer was probably one of our top vendors to get it right and we were very picky as these photos make lasting memories and capture all the hard work we put onto our wedding. Well, Kwon proved it right and was absolutely worth the investment. To be honest we didn’t think we were photogenic at all and was nervous to some extent. Kwon gave us a lot of guidance, was so easy to work with and put us so much at ease in front of the camera – something that was very important to us. When we saw the photos we almost felt like we were straight out of the movies! They feel timeless, capturing the best of our emotions on the big day and we can’t stop looking at them! Kwon is a true professional and his service is top notch. He has a great eye for detail and goes to great extents fixing a lot of little things that you wouldn’t have thought of, to get that perfect shot. He also plans well and makes the most of the hours you pay him for. He has a fun, amazing personality and some of the wedding guests even complimented him. We are so grateful we found Kwon and glad we gave the big day of our lives to Kwon’s trusted hands. The photos were truly magical and more than anything we could have dreamt of. We can confidently say that he exceeded our expectations. For those out there looking for your perfect wedding photographer – look no further. Kwon it is!

We can't say enough great things about KWON!! We just got our photos back and we are obsessed. We definitely got more photos back than we hoped for and loved every single one. He was able to capture all the details we wanted! His edits were so light, airy and romantic. Kwon was very professional and arrived on time on wedding day. Kwon was an excellent wedding photographer for our special day! We are not the most photogenic and he directed us very well. He also recommended our videographer and the two of them worked very well together, with Kwon leading. He knew all the great spots for pictures at the Muckenthaler Mansion, which is the venue we booked. During the initial consultation over zoom, Kwon let us know many things which we did not consider and made us quite prepared for the event. The photos that came out were very elegant and not over-the-top cheesy, which is the style we are most going for & exactly why we hired Kwon! Thank you for making our wedding day seamless!

We found Kwon through Instragram and immediately reached out via email because his portfolio of work was beautiful! He responded promptly with answers to all of our questions. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. We felt like he was a true professional who we could trust to take photos on one of the most important days of our life- and we were right! Kwon was responsive whenever we had questions before the wedding. He sent us a form to fill out the month before with questions about what parts of the day we wanted highlighted, if there were any details we wanted captured specifically, etc. He was well organized which made us feel like we didn't have to stress about the details the day of the wedding because he had us covered. He showed up promptly on the day of our wedding for getting ready photos and made sure that we stayed on schedule. One detail we loved was that he brought a flat lay backdrop for our details photo and it was perfect! Kwon was great at setting up shots, directing subjects, all while keeping everyone in a great mood. He and his assistant kept in communication during the entire event via earpieces. They were also very respectful to all of our family and guests. After the wedding Kwon followed up with sneak peak photos within less than a week and told us the full gallery would be ready in 4 weeks. The full gallery was sent over on time and the photos were better than we could have ever imagined! We would highly recommend Kwon to any friend getting married in the LA/OC area.

Kwon was very friendly, helpful, and attentive to our needs and guided us when we needed it. He was great at working with us during our engagement and wedding shoots, and you can tell he is very passionate about what he does. He always answered our questions/emails very promptly and professionally. He was also great at facilitating and working with our families and wedding guests on the day of the wedding to ensure everything went smoothly. He is very genuine and his photos looks amazing! Would highly recommend (and already have recommended) him for other couples in need of a photographer!

Kwon was an amazing photographer for our wedding. He accommodated us and was super flexible during Covid. I had a coworker who had him shoot her engagement and wedding and she referred Kwon to us! My only regret is not doing our engagement photos with him... We visited his office in Fullerton and he gave us a rundown of the different packages and his work. We decided on a package that we wanted and reserved the date for our wedding. We had a small ceremony and he captured all the moments. We didn't have a videographer but Kwon captured every detail (even the play by play of the tears rolling down my cheeks! haha!!). Even if you don't have a separate videographer for your wedding, Kwon will capture every special and important moment as if you're not missing anything out! We were so happy with how our pictures turned out. We're hoping we to have Kwon shoot any future photography services like our future baby's 100 day birthday! Thank you again Kwon for everything and being so accommodating. We really appreciate having you shoot our wedding!

I and my wife choose Kwon photo as our engagement and wedding ceremony photographer.  There were so many uncertainties because of covid-19.  Our wedding venue canceled on us about two months before the wedding date. We had to re-arrange a lot of the things we planned. Mr. Kwon was well communicated with us. He always responded within a day. It was easygoing with him to re-arrange our schedules. We didn't know where to go for your engagement photo shooting. Most of the places were closed due to covid 19. Then he recommended coupled locations based on his experience. It was really helpful. Since it was our first photo shooting, I and my wife had very awkward expressions and poses.  He guided us to have more natural poses and facial expressions. If you don't know what to do during the shooting, don't worry he will guide you step by step.  On the wedding day, within very limited light and space, he found the best angles and background for getting ready photos. and he captured all the beautiful and valuable moments on my wedding day.  His wedding package was so worth every single penny. One engagement photo album, one wedding day photo album, and one 20x30 printed canvas. All very high-quality products and I am so happy with them.  I know I have been there, We all try to reduce our budget as much as possible. But you shouldn't risk photography and videography which last forever.  I strongly recommend Kwon photo for your best day of life.

Kwon is a great photographer! He came through a reference of a friend, and was professional the whole way through the process, from receiving a quote, to discussing day-of logistics, to the wedding itself, and processing / receiving materials afterwards. For a once-in-a-lifetime event, Kwon's experience and responsiveness made this one of the lowest stress parts of the wedding planning process for us. Some of the highlights of the process: - Kwon giving us advice on how to stand and pose, etc, that will make the photos look more natural - Kwon arranging the environment and props to make some really special "movie poster quality" photos - Kwon keeping the photos for two years, because that's how long it took for us to finish choosing photos for our wedding album!!!!

Kwon is an amazing photographer to work with- highly recommended! We originally hired him for our engagement photos which were done in Malibu and he did such an amazing job, we decided to fly him to Tennessee to shoot our wedding as well. Kwon is a total pleasure to work with, his presence shooting during the ceremony is not even noticeable and he just fit right in with our family- everyone really enjoyed him!

KWON Photo, One of the best vendors we worked with. One of the reasons we chose Kwon for both our engagement and wedding photos not only his professionalism, but his overall personality. He made us feel so comfortable even before signing the contract! He had such a great vision of what we would want to capture for our engagement photos. We really appreciated that he came to one of our final walk throughs to get a feel of our venue (lighting, areas to take photos, etc). Although we are camera-shy, his out going personality really made us feel comfortable and guided us through our engagement photos. KWON was great! He came recommended to us from another friend’s wedding, so now we will recommend him to other friends! He has a vision on what looks good and despite the rain at our wedding he managed to make pictures look magical. Literally two days after our wedding he sent us a couple sneak peak pictures so he’s pretty quick and wants to make sure his clients are happy. Can’t wait to see the rest of our pictures!

We met so many photographers for our weddings and the one that stood out the most was Kwon. His attention to detail is exceptional and he's amazing to work with. We've never taken pictures with a photographer before and he made the whole process so easy. He makes you feel comfortable and makes sure you get every shot or pose that you have in mind but if you don't have any ideas like we did then he'll still find ways to make you look great. Communication with him was also great because he responds right away and answers any questions you may have as well. The quality in the material used to make the wedding albums are amazing and let's you relive the night. I'm so happy that I chose Kwon because he capture every moment of my wedding and made it look perfect just as I imagined it.

If you have an outdoor engagement photo session and wedding, Kwon is probably one of the best photographers you will find in LA & OC area. He is very artistic, quickly responds to emails/calls, easy to work with, and the finished products are beautiful. Highly recommend!

We are so happy to have Kwon as our engagement and wedding photographer. His work is beautiful. For our engagement shoot, we didn't bring any props or had any photo or pose ideas, but Kwon was creative and directed us. We're so glad we found Kwon Photo!! Both my husband and I are designers and we were very particular about choosing a photographer for our wedding. We had SO MANY options online and we went through online portfolios to find the perfect one. Kwon Photo was the ONLY photographer we reached out to and we didn't have to look further. He was very professional and he was very passionate about his work. His terms were all laid out on paper and his pricing was reasonable. During our photoshoot, he got stung by a huge cactus (I still feel so sorry for him) We had to call the medics on site to have it removed. But after a quick treatment, he insisted on finishing the shoot and we got some pretty awesome photos that day. He would go that extra mile to make your day just perfect.

For context, my husband and I are not very romantic and take very awkward pictures. We were very nervous about picking a photographer that wouldn't mind our awkwardness or make us doing anything weird (we've heard horror stories from others). A friend of mine used Kwon so we decided to check out KWON PHOTO along with some others. Kwon is ultra professional and everything is very straight forward. Booking his services was very easy and he even had great suggestions we wouldn't have thought about without his help (i.e. locations for our shoot, props, size of wedding vs. number of photographers, pricing and value, etc.). He didn't at all pressure us into anything but gave us his valuable opinions which we agreed to all. His pricing is very reasonable. Our engagement shoot was our first time in front of the camera with Kwon. Before the day of, he helped us pick locations that were easy to travel to and park and gave us tips to prep for the day. When we got there, I had brought a few outfits but didn't know what to wear! I thought I was a lost cause but Kwon came to our rescue and took his time to help us coordinate our outfits from head to toe to match each location! During our shoot, we felt so comfortable with Kwon and he helped guide us through the entire shoot. Our engagement photos were beautiful and we were amazed he was able to capture us in a way that was so natural. On our wedding day, Kwon and his second photographer were very timely and got started right away. Again, he made us feel so comfortable even though we were very nervous about being the center of attention that day. After our wedding, within a day or two he sent us sneak peaks! They were better than what I would have imagined. We hope to capture all of our future life milestones with KWON PHOTO and would recommend him to anyone.

I absolutely love Kwon! My wedding photos looked like a gorgeous magazine spread. Everyone looks beautiful in the photos. He is incredibly professional, accommodating, friendly and easy to work with. After booking our wedding venue, our next priority was booking a photographer. I was looking his amazing jobs through instagram and other social media like yelp, the knot etc and finally we decided to hire him. The result was more than worth it! He is really professional, punctual with a lot of sence of humor as well. He found the perfect spot with perfect angle and captured all our unforgettable moments. On our first meeting, we were just amazed how he understood what we were looking for and showed us examples. And that's exactly what we (I) had in mind. Another great thing is that he is there when you need his advise and everything was on time. I strongly recommend to check his website, where it has more BEAUTIFUL pictures. On the day of wedding, time flies so fast, you might not remember all the detail. But no worry, Kwon Photo make sure that he takes all the detail and the right moment! We had so many great pictures to chose for our album for both Engagement and Wedding day, my husband and I was screaming in happiness. I strongly recommend to meet with him, rather than email/text. This review is for our booking and engagement shoot. My fiancee and I started planning our wedding a bit late (less than a year before the date) and we were in a crunch to find a photographer since the good ones get booked fairly early. After searching through Wedding Wire, The Knot, and Yelp, I stumbled upon Kwon's page. He responded quickly to our inquiry and scheduled an in-person meeting. As soon as we met we knew he'd be great to work with. He was very welcoming and made us feel like we were friends. We initially were only planning to book him for the wedding day, but decided to book an engagement shoot as well. He made a really good point that the engagement shoot was where he could learn more about us and how to best capture our personalities. Kwon stayed in touch with us from the initial meeting all the way up to the engagement shoot date. He sent us reminders and even nice tips (bring extra clothes since we were shooting at night, comfy shoes to wear when going to locations, a sandwich, and a towel to dry off). Our first location was at Shoreline Park in Long Beach. We were late due to an accident on the highway, but Kwon got there early to scout the location. He didn't mind that we were late and didn't factor that into our time. I consider myself pretty unphotogenic, but Kwon assured me that I looked great and gave me ample tips on being comfortable and photogenic with him. That's one of the best qualities about Kwon. We never once felt like we were actually doing a photoshoot. We always felt comfortable and had fun like we were hanging out with a dear friend. Another great quality is his attention to detail. Before shots he made sure our clothes were on straight and nothing funky was going on with our hair. He made sure we were always standing up straight and that we were showing our love. After our first location, he offered to drive us to our second location to save us gas and get to know us better. We had a great time chatting with him in the car. Our second location was Abalone Cove in Palos Verdes. About a 30 min drive. Once we got to the location, he let us change in his car. He wasn't prepared to hike very much, but he was a trooper. He was willing to climb anything to get the perfect shot. We were impressed with how willing he was to hike to spots to get the right angles and shots. Our four hours were running out and we were worried we wouldn't get enough shots, but Kwon reassured us to not worry and that time wasn't a factor. He had shots in mind and he knew he couldn't get them until the sun went down. He ended up staying an extra three hours! We were so amazed by his patience and energy despite such a long day. As soon as we got home, Kwon texted us letting us know that it would be two weeks before our photos would be ready. To our surprise, he had preview shots ready for us the very next day! They were beautiful and we couldn't wait for the rest. In EXACTLY two weeks, even to the hour of us meeting, we got our photos! When Kwon gives you a deadline, he means it! Within a few days we received our thumb drive and within a few days of submitting the photo we wanted on a canvas, it was at our door. We couldn't be happier with the service Kwon provided. He goes beyond the call of duty and does it with a smile. He's patience, energetic, friendly, and timely. He's everything we could ask for and more. It doesn't hurt that his photos are beautiful too ;).
