La Copa Inn and Suites

My husband and I stayed at the La Copa Inn at South Padre Island on our honeymoon last month. I chose this hotel because they offered hot tubs in the hotel rooms!!! :) Luckily, I decided to reserve our room online and saved A LOT of money! They automatically give you like 30% discount if you reserve online, so MAKE RESERVATIONS ONLINE! After reading numerous bad reviews about the staff I was a little leery, but when we arrived at La Copa I was pleasantly surprised! All the staff that I came in contact with were very pleasant and helpful. The room was in perfect condition when we arrived and was very nice to stay in. I felt right at home. The outdoor area with the pool and hot tub was very nice and relaxing and I loved the boardwalk to the beach! I loved everything about this hotel and can't wait to go back again.

This place was awesome! Located right accross the bridge, it was very easy to find for our guests. The staff was excellent, housecleaning kept things clean 24/7, and breakfast was great every morning! A special thanks to the manager, Edwardo. Even though he was busy with other issues, he never hessitated to assist us with our questions or concerns. He and his staff went above and beyond making sure the ballroom was ready for us and make sure our guest were happy. Thank you so much!! :)

Our wedding guests stayed here. They liked it because it was close to our wedding venues and had great beach access. Overall it was a nice hotel and most of them would stay again.
