La Scala Ristorante Italiano

Last night, we dined with friends at La Scala for the first time. Everything about the experience was wonderful. The food was delicious, the service impeccable, the waiter humorous and engaging, the restaurant atmosphere inviting, and the bar tender "got it right the first time." One of the owners greeted us warmly on our arrival and later came to the table to check on our satisfaction with the meal. The chef also talked to us and stopped to speak with other customers in the dining room. Some of the customers were addressed by name, clearly indicating that they were regulars; such a following is a strong indicator of a restaurant's level of quality. We highly recommend La Scala and plan to return again for a wonderful dinner when visiting Baltimore.

We sponsored my son and new daughter-in-law's rehearsal dinner here - what a wonderful time everyone had. During the planning phase we had excellent response from the staff and great communication despite our distance from Baltimore. The Bocce Ball court was certainly a highlight for the groomsmen - but everyone had a chance to play or observe. The service was excellent during our cocktail hour as well as dinner. Our dining room was the perfect accommodation for our party and set-up was smooth and easy during the day. We were treated so well I would highly recommend this restaurant for any event or a casual dinner anytime in Baltimore.

We had a wonderful experience !! We were able to enjoy all sorts of food .... we did it family style. From the calamari, caprese salad, balsamico steak, bronzini fish,homemade gnocchi, meat and cheese, shrimp appetizer , you name it...we had it:) And everything was just delicious! My husband and his family are Italian and we wanted to keep tradition with all being together and having a "feast" if you will. They had us in a private party are that was ours for the entire evening. Before and after dinner, guests were able to sneak away and play on the bocce ball court which was a highlight in itself! The staff was friendly and accommodating for the entire group. Chef Nino even made a point to come and say Hello to everyone:) We find ourselves dining at La Scala at least once a month and are always bringing people when they visit us from out of town. La Scala was the best choice and I would be happy to give them more and more business in the future! You can't go wrong with them:)
