Lesley took my ideas of what I wanted and ran with it! We could only be in contact through email and considering that, she exceeded my expectations for my big day!

Lake Harriet Florist was the perfect florist for me! I am not very knowledgeable about flowers but had a vision in my head of what I wanted the flowers to bring to our wedding. Lesley took my thoughts, ran with them and it turned out beautifully! Lesley and her team are the best to work with and truly made my dreams come true. I would highly recommend Lake Harriet Florist!

Lake Harriet Florist was an AMAZING florist to work with and I highly recommend!!!! Lesley was incredible with her great personality and exceeded both my husband’s and I’s expectations with our flowers, greenery, and hanging installation. They were exquisite and exactly what we had been looking for. From our first meeting to our last, Leslie was able to capture what I had envisioned and brought it to life. I received so many compliments on my bridal bouquet, other flowers, and the hanging installation. You can really tell that she puts her heart and soul into what she is creating. My wedding ceremony and reception were in the same ball room, so there was a flip included while I was at cocktail hour with our guests. When they pulled me into the room for the first look of reception, I almost burst into tears as I was utterly impressed that she had really pulled together the entire look of the decor and style for a grand master piece. Again, I would give a 6 out of 5 if I could. I definitely recommend!!

I highly recommend Lake Harriet Florist!!! They absolutely nailed our wedding flowers. I was planning a Minneapolis wedding from Los Angeles, and I was definitely on a budget. I looked extensively at doing our flowers through CostCo, Sam's Club, or Trader Joe's, and Lake Harriet Florist actually wound up being LESS expensive, with all the added benefit of their beautiful selection and arrangement and delivery! No storing flowers in buckets and arranging and transporting on my own... I worked with Lesley, and she was an absolute pleasure to work with. I wasn't totally sure what I was looking for, but I shared my Pinterest page with her and we had a phone conversation from which she created a beautiful online proposal, and the decision was easy! She completely understood my vibe and what I was going for even though I didn't have the language to describe it. She even created a color story that wound up being the basis for the colors of our wedding. We did donuts instead of a cake, and our baker matched the icing to Lesley's color story! When the flowers arrived the day of the wedding they completely exceeded my expectations. When I handed off my bouquet to my in-laws the morning after my wedding because I couldn't figure out how to get it home on the plane with me I CRIED when I said goodbye to them! (They'll dry them and I'll get them back sometime.) I can't say enough nice things about Lesley and Lake Harriet Florist - they really nailed it, and I'm delighted with the final product and the cost!!!

We had a wonderful experience with Lake Harriet Florist! Lesley’s personality and love for weddings instantly sold us just after walking into the shop. As an out of state couple getting married in our home state, finding reliable vendors was important. Lesley was so easy to communicate with and she was very receptive to our vision. My bridal bouquet turned out exactly as I had hoped. Lesley was also very helpful with finding a floral plan that fit within our wedding budget. She also let me add on a cake topper decorative last minute. I cannot say enough good things about Lake Harriet Florist. We are so thankful for their creativity and efforts in putting together the most beautiful floral arrangements for our wedding!

Lake Harriet Floral was a pleasure to work with for our wedding. From our first sit down meeting with Lesley through our actual wedding day, we were impressed. Lesley was so energetic, easy to work with, and brought a strong sense of vision to our overall wedding aesthetic. We first met with her 16 months before our actual wedding, at which time we were uncertain about what we wanted specifically for our décor. Lesley immediately gave us several ideas and really helped us to refine and clarify our overall goals throughout the planning process. She was frequently in contact by email, on the phone, and even another couple times in person! Every time we added to our order or changed sometime slightly she was happy to quickly revise our proposal. The flowers at our wedding were stunning. The blooms she selected were fresh and vibrant. We could not have asked for a better florist given Lesley did more than just provide us with some bouquets and centerpieces - she really put together the entire look of our ceremony and reception.

Some florists just deliver your flowers to a location. Lake Harriet Florist designs, creates, decorates and stylizes your venue! When we walked into the reception, we could not believe how beautiful it was! Our guests continue to ask who did our flowers. Lesley thinks of every detail and makes suggestions....all keeping in our budget. She helped us create a theme using our colors. She added touches here and there to make a memorable night! We had an idea of what we wanted, but the end product was 100 times better than what we could have imagined. You only have one chance to make your event perfect and unforgettable. You will not regret hiring Lake Harriet Florist. At least go in and meet her for a consultation. You will be impressed with her enthusiasm and complete joy in helping you make your inspiration come to life. Lesley gets a lot of credit for putting together an amazing creative team. I will always use this florist for any future floral needs. We were absolutely thrilled with all of the flowers that Lake Harriet Florist did for our wedding. The bridal bouquet, especially, was just incredibly stunning. Many of the guests commented on how beautiful the tables and other bouquets looked. Lesley could not have been more welcoming and helpful in all of the decisions we made. She is so creative and had wonderful suggestions to help our selection process. Lake Harriet Florist designed such a lovely wedding for my daughter. We loved that Lesley and her team "got" the big picture and then thought of so many more details that made my daughter's wedding truly personalized and unbelievably special. It really put our minds at ease being able to rent everything like the Chuppah and centerpiece containers. They came and assembled and styled everything which truly took our breath away with just how magical everything looked. In addition to that, the flowers were designed to separate from their containers easily so that we could take them home to use for our hosted brunch the next morning. We then later donated the flowers and they were still fresh and looked gorgeous days later and after being moved around a lot. In a nutshell, Lake Harriet Florist really went above and beyond for us...much more than you would think a typical florist would. When it's time for my other daughter to get married, we will definitely be using Lake Harriet Florist again.

I was so impressed with the floral arrangements for my wedding! I had a somewhat unique and distinct vision and Lesley went above and beyond to ensure that the vision came to life. Lesley could not have been more wonderful to work with for our August 2017 wedding! I came to her with some ideas, and on our big day Lesley brought those ideas to life and then some! She was always incredibly considerate of our budget and found creative ways to stretch a dollar for us. She was even willing to use some things that I already had and mix them in with her decor. Our flowers and centerpieces were absolutely stunning and working with Lesley was so enjoyable. She is energetic, caring, and creative and simply a joy to work with!

We used them for our wedding and everything was beautiful! I just told them for my bouquet white flowers and garden style, they ran with it and I thought my bouquet was stunning!!! They were so helpful and accommodating! So happy we chose them!

Loved the flowers and decorations Lesley put together. It was exactly what I wanted. Had a simple vintage theme and she kept within that theme very well. I wanted Red and Blue without looking patriotic and she did such a wonderful job! I got so many compliments. Lesley came and set everything up and it looked perfect. She also came to pick up things at the end of the night so I didn't have to worry about it. Highly recommend!!

Hiring Lake Harriet Florist was the absolute best decision we made in wedding planning. Lesley is the most fun, bubbly, creative person and she truly made our dreams come to life. We have received compliment after compliment about how beautiful our flowers were at our wedding. Every single flower, color, arrangement was absolutely perfect. There is nothing I would have changed. Lesley came to our venue and set everything herself to make sure everything was done right. We miss wedding planning because we miss meetings with Lesley! I would 100% recommend Lake Harriet to anyone looking for a unique and breathtaking floral experience for their wedding.

Super sad and disappointed with how our flowers turned out. I cringe when watching our wedding video with flower close ups :( It might have bit us in the the butt that we tried to be simple and 'hands off' with flowers but I don't think we were on the same page for our vision at all. Our flowers were delivered 2.5 hours before the ceremony and boutonnieres and half of the bridesmaids flowers were wilted by the ceremony (even in water). I will say, Lake Harriet Florist partially made up for our sadness with pretty lush green centerpieces at our reception.

Actually...what Lake Harriet Florist did was BETTER than what I had in my mind what everything would like. They even put a cute little charm on my handle as my "something blue". It was such a nice touch that was unexpected. I've already recommended Lake Harriet Florist to another friend of mine getting married July 2017 because they were so amazing to work with.

Even better, guests were able to detach the large arrangements and bring them home. My bouquet was equally as beautiful. I loved large round bouquets and this did not disappoint. It was sturdy and held its glamour all night. We know our Moms will be preserving their corsages, because like everything, they loved them and couldn’t stop remarking about their beauty. But Lake Harriet did not top there – their attention to detail, ability to have two delivery locations, and the staff’s creativity, passion, care, and kind attitudes are what really made the night! Thank you for adding beauty, class, and glamour that is unmatchable!

Leslie is fabulous at bringing a wedding dream to life. She helped me create the wedding of my dreams. Every color, flower, green, was perfect. Every bouquet and place setting was gorgeous. The most amazing part was the huppah she built for us to get married under. The draping, flowers, everything was literally picture perfect.

We wanted a vintagey wedding with a woodland feel—flowers in my antique ironstone pitchers and bowls, vintage cakestands, battered sterling candlesticks, random crystal posy vases. Lake Harriet Florist got it completely, and then some. Lesley transformed a vast arts-and-crafts room into a meadow, each arrangement a minor miracle of greens and wildflowers. She even thought of a moss-covered cake table. I can’t imagine a more enthusiastic, engaged, attentive person at my side.

Lake Harriet Florist was so amazing to work with. We were originally booked with another florist, but we hadn't received much communication from them so a month before the wedding we reach out to them and they had all the wrong contact information and the bid they had on file wasn't at all what we had initially signed off on. In a panic, we called Lake Harriet Florist just to see what our options were and my daughter (the bride) and I were so impressed...so much so that we cancelled our plans with the previous florist and moved forward with Lake Harriet Florist. Their customer service was incredible - they always answered my emails and phone calls promptly and were always friendly. They clearly love what they do and it shows because the wedding flowers were incredible. Many of our guests commented on how beautiful they were. We already have them booked for our other daughter's wedding later in 2017!

Lesley at Lake Harriet Florist is amazing to work with. I only had a very rough concept of what I wanted and she and her team completely blew me away. Everything was GORGEOUS! I had gone to previous florists and I just didn't feel like they were very excited about doing the flowers for my wedding and then once I met Lesley, it was like I had a friend who was doing my flowers. She had lots of suggestions of how to personalize my flowers so that my wedding was uniquely my own. I have already been telling my friends to use Lake Harriet Florist because they truly are remarkable.

Lesley was awesome! I originally came in looking to purchase a few flowers from them to design my own bouquets. I used Lake Harriet Florist for my July wedding, and couldn't have been happier with my flowers. My wedding was on the small side (we just did a bouquet and boutonniere). Lesley was amazing to work with, taking my vague thoughts and ideas, and turning them into a beautiful and unique arrangement. It was exactly what I wanted (without knowing how exactly to ask for it!), and she captured the vibe of our wedding perfectly. It was a great experience, and I can't recommend them strongly enough!

We had a good experience working with Lake Harriet Florist. We had 2 consultations to discuss what we want months out and then again about a month before the wedding to finalize. Lesley was very nice to work with and very responsive over email between consultations. I loved how the bouquets turned out which is the only arrangement we ordered from the florist. Working with Lake Harriet Florist was an exceptional experience. The execution and craftsmanship of each bouquet, boutonniere, corsage and centerpiece was beyond what I could have hoped for. What a wonderful experience! Lesley went above and beyond to put together a stunning bouquet that fit with the backyard garden wedding that we had planned along with great suggestions on table décor. Ordering was easy, consultation was intimate and friendly and all of my questions and inquiries were answered quickly. I thought the pricing was very reasonable and I loved having a local florist close to home. I was extremely pleased with the flowers upon arrival to pick up on the day of the wedding. Lesley is amazing at what she does and it is clear how much she cares about her customers.

Leslie and the Lake Harriet Florist team were absolutely amazing to work with! We ordered my bouquet, all of the bridesmaids bouquets as well as all of the corsages and boutonnieres for the groom, groomsmen and relatives. Coming in, I didn't have an exact idea of what I wanted so I talked with Leslie about the style/feel of our wedding and our colors -- summer wedding with a rustic bohemian/earthy feel. I didn't have any types of specific flowers I wanted except I knew I wanted succulents in the bridal bouquet and in the groom's boutonniere. They absolutely nailed our colors and look with very little direction. The flowers looked amazing, both in person and in pictures and were incredibly unique and perfectly captured the spirit and personality of our wedding. Can't thank Leslie and Lake Harriet Florist enough for all their help!

I looked for and had consultations with a few florists before I met with Lesley from Lake Harriet Florist and always felt like my ideas were not being heard. Many of the people that I met with told me that I could not get what I wanted within my budget, and basically changed my whole plan for what they thought was better. I knew what I wanted and did not enjoy being made to feel like an ignorant child. BUT thank goodness for Lesley and Lake Harriet Florist! When I met with her, not only were my ideas heard, but she had so many creative ideas to expand on what I told her my vision was. I wanted orchids and knew they were a bit more expensive, but didn't want to spend a ridiculous amount on flowers. Lesley had great ideas on how to incorporate beautiful orchids with other flowers that would look great and balance well. On the day of the wedding my flowers were more spectacular than I had even envisioned! For all you brides, you know how hard that can be :) My bouquet was a fabulous cascading mix of 3 different kinds of orchids, roses, lilies, and mums. I won't give all of the details, but just know that Lake Harriet Florist not only met, but exceeded all of my expectations in service, quality, and value!

Leslie from Lake Harriet Florist is wonderful! I had a very specific vision for my wedding flowers, but it was all in my head and I couldn't find any photographs that lined up with that vision. Leslie was patient and very flexible. She "got" my vision from the beginning and was willing to work with it.
