Lake Lyndsay

Our daughter was married at The Lodge on Saturday September 3rd. We had attended a wedding here a number of years ago and fell in love with the venue. After touring it with parents and her fiancee', this was the only place they needed to view. The staff went out of their way to ensure all our questions were answered and we felt like the communication was top-notch from the first visit to the last of the clean-up. We rented the "supply room" which contains various signs, candles, center pieces and everything you could just about think of. This saved a lot of money and a lot of time on our part. The bridal suite is fantastic with plenty of room to relax, eat, drink and have hair and make-up done. We had to make a last-minute decision to move the wedding indoors since the rain just wouldn't let up. The move was smooth and the wedding went off without a problem. Kudos to all the staff, for a beautiful venue and very attentive staff.

They were helpful throughout the process, but sometimes we’re hard to reach. My day of Co could have been a little more active as well. Overall good experience

We were so pleased with all that Lake Lyndsay offered us for our wedding day at Kayla’s Korner! It was perfect for a small gathering. The staff was helpful with recommendations and prompt with answering questions. The decoration room was a bonus and the gazebo next to the lake was beautiful! They were gracious with the time we were allowed to decorate and cleanup. We were extremely happy with our experience with Lake Lyndsay. The only thing that caused an issue was the trains that blocked certain roads all throughout the day that led to the venue.

We recently got married at the beach house and it was wonderful. The venue allows you so much freedom for what you want at a good price. They provide you with helpful tips to mare planning easier & the day of help was awesome too!

We got married at the lodge in June of 2022. It was such a beautiful space and we had so much freedom to do what we wanted. Communication was fantastic and they were always there to answer any questions we had! Highly recommend for a easy, stress free, and an affordable place to have both your ceremony and reception!

We got married at the Beach House at Lake Lyndsay in May 2022 and it was absolutely beautiful. From beginning to end, the staff (especially Lyndsay) was amazing. Lyndsay had the most timely, detailed, and thorough communication. She sent so many tips and ideas that were so helpful. This venue is so laid back and affordable and this allowed us so much flexibility for our wedding day. We would HIGHLY recommend!

The venue is absolutely stunning, and the freedom it gives with food, alcohol, and all other vendors is truly a rare find! My only negative comment is that they didn’t clean the morning of as promised, so we had to scramble last minute to wipe down cobwebs while the wedding coordinator complained to the cleaning team instead of cleaning it right away

The venue its self was beautiful but you are responsible for doing everything I mean everything yourself. The maintenance man was very rude when we couldn’t find some of the tables that ended up being inside. A shed with extra tables/chairs was placed at the venue which we were unaware of was happening and had planned on using that space. We filled out multiple questions about the layout/event again not sure why because we were responsible for getting out tables /chairs from the shed and setting it all up. The event coordinator got into it with multiple guest at the end of the night and was very unprofessional. We weren’t able to take photos at the barn due to construction equipment etc and the bar was not at the venue the day before for us to decorate so I had to have someone come early the day of the decorate. Beautiful location but could really step their game up otherwise.

My husband and I got married at Lake Lyndsay in May and everything was wonderful! They were so helpful in the months leading up to have scheduled meetings with us and make sure that all of our questions were answered. The venue is absolutely beautiful! I got married at the Lodge which has a lovely lakefront spot. We ended up having rain the day of but we made a smooth transition indoors and everything turned out just lovely. I would definitely recommend for your big day!

I just wanted to drop some love to the staff at Lake Lyndsay! As a wedding planner, I loved working at LL & look forward to many more weddings together! The staff is a 'roll up your sleeves' kind of crew & will do whatever it takes to make the day as dreamy as possible, which is every bride's dream (&& their wedding planner's)! The wedding we hosted together was in the lodge & had a stunning ceremony under the gazebo with the reception inside. Ample space that fit a large sweetheart table / stage area for photos, extensive DJ set up, tables for almost 150 guests, and a photo booth & buffet. We had our wedding in Oct 2021 at Lake Lyndsay, specifically Kayla's Korner. The whole planning process was easy and they were quick to respond. The day of our wedding there was always someone around to answer questions if we had any. The coordinator that was there throughout the night was a great help as well! The grounds were beautiful and we are so glad we got married at Lake Lyndsay!

I can not say enough about how wonderful this venue was for our daughter's wedding. We booked them 10 months before the big day and they stayed in full contact with us the entire time. Every question we had was answered right away through convenient texting. They helped us give our daughter the reception of her dreams.

I got married here on September 17 at the Lodge. The venue was absolutely beautiful and the staff were very helpful with answering all my questions. The bridal suite was an incredible space to get ready in with a separate room for hair and make up, two bathrooms, multiple couches and even a kitchen.

Lake Lyndsay’s Beach House was the perfect setting for our wedding and reception. It was absolutely beautiful. I loved that we provided all decorations. It was a little intimidating at first, but we were able to make the venue reflect us as a couple completely. The staff was very communicative, and Michelle (our event day coordinator) was AMAZING!!! She made sure our guests were where they needed to be, tracked down family members for pictures, and made sure we just had the best time. I highly recommend, especially if you are looking for an outdoor venue.

My husband and I fell in complete love with Lake Lyndsay's Beach House, it was exactly what we wanted. Lyndsay and her staff are hands down amazing. No matter what my question was they were quick to respond and always very helpful. Our original date was rescheduled due to COVID, Lyndsay and her team kept in contact via email and always offered any help they could during a stressful time. While at the Beach House on the day of our event, July 10th we had LL coordinators that were incredibly nice and answered any questions we had. I will always recommend Lake Lyndsay to anyone looking for a venue....Gorgeous Views, Beautiful Venue, AMAZING owner and staff....what more could you ask for? Go see them and check it out for yourself, you won't be dissapointed!!!

We had our wedding at the Beach House after having to reschedule our wedding three times. It was one of the beat things that could have happened looking back. The setting is beautiful, it was outside, and right on the water. Everyone raves about how unique it was! I can’t say enough positive things about the staff and Lyndsay. We had some issues with deliveries from vendors and she put our mind at ease making sure things were going to be okay. Everything was great! Thank you!

I want to give Lake Lyndsay 5 stars SO bad. We rented out "The Lodge" to accommodate our 220 guests and everyone was so helpful and friendly. They even gave us access to the building the entire day before to set up and the grounds and facility are beautiful, we got so many compliments. Easy online payments. The reason for the 4-stars is because of the cleanup process at the end of the night. Whoever the lady was working was grumpy and made us feel rushed to clean up and get out. We were told we had the building until 1am and she was rushing the cleanup like we had to be out by 11:30. I recommend this venue 100% but the lasting impression just wasn't great.

Lake Lyndsay (The Lodge)’s venue and the property is beautiful. My husband and I had a magical day thanks to the team at Lake Lyndsay and Lyndsay herself. The even allowed our fur baby to be apart of our special day :) If you want an intimate or a grand wedding, Lake Lyndsay beautifully suits whatever your needs are !

I cannot say enough about how great this venue was! Specifically, we were at Kayla's Korner. It was so beautiful. There were so many opportune places around the venue as well for great party and couple pictures. The reception area has great nooks to organize appetizer tables, a buffet, bar, bathrooms, gift table, etc. The getting ready rooms for both the groomsmen and the bridesmaids are spacious. We booked about a year ago, not knowing where COVID would be by the time our date came around. Our venue was prepared for whatever that looked like. Beyond that, they worked with us to make sure everything was ready for the day of. They would always make sure we could make as many visits to the venue as needed, the floor plan meeting we had with Sam was so helpful in nailing down where everything should go. Because there was no wedding the day before, we were able to start setup at 10am the day before and rehearse on site. They provided a table for the candle ceremony and two easels for signage. Added on top of all of it, it's reasonably priced! Couldn't imagine my big day having been anywhere else.

What an amazing group of people you have on your staff. BIG shout-out to Michelle for giving us our initial tour and for being a great addition to the party! Thank you Sam and Lyndsay for everything as well. From planning and getting our party prepared to ensuring comfort of all guests, you all were perfect. Our day was perfect. I cannot say enough great things about Lake Lyndsay. We had our reception there at the end of March 2021 at the Lodge (largest building). We had around 230 guests, a photobooth, 2 bars inside, 1 bar outside, and it the place felt large enough with social distancing in place. The grounds are gorgeous. My pictures that I've been able to see so far look beautiful. We were fortunate and had a wonderful weather day, but the lake setting and outside of the building are pretty. The staff there is so easy to work with and they are great communicators. I called and texted several times before the day and they were quick to respond and had an answer pretty immediately for me. The outside area was nice for guests that didn't feel comfortable inside, but wanted to stay and celebrate. We had a bar and bistro tables (available to rent from Lake Lyndsay) outside and people were out there all night. One of the BIGGEST benefits of this venue is the decoration room they have. It is an extra fee, but no joke it has every decoration you could ever want or need, and the decor fit the venue so well. We didn't have to rent decor from anywhere else but used that room, so we just picked out our table decorations, mantle decorations, an envelope box, etc. prior to the day and then everything was pulled ready for us to decorate. It made it simple or if we ran out of something we could quickly grab it. The bridal suite is also incredible. It is huge, there is no shortage of mirrors or outlets. It was the perfect place to get ready. I just couldn't have had a better experience with the venue and the people working there. It was perfect for my husband and my's day, we loved every minute of it and Lake Lyndsay made it great.

Lake Lyndsay was the perfect location for all of our wedding activities and was a beautiful venue for late November. I couldn’t recommend a better, large scale venue. The staff was kind and easy to work with. The Lodge venue is perfect for a larger socially distanced wedding celebration with COVID-19 and would make a beautiful setting for a traditional reception as well.

Lake Lyndsay was the BEST! We worked mainly with Sam and she was incredible. They made me feel so at ease on my wedding day. Would 100% recommend!!!

This is an amazing venue, with not just one but three places to choose from. We had the The Lodge and it was beautiful. The staff was very friendly and worked with us to make sure we got what we wanted. They were always there to answers questions and allowed us to have an amazing wedding.

My daughter’s wedding took place at Lake Lindsay on August 29. 2020. We couldn’t have been more happy with the venue and all the set-up options available for the Beach House location. Even more impressive was the top-rate attention provided personally by Lindsay. The lady who normally prepares the venue for each event had a family emergency that day, so Lindsay and here husband took care of everything. I expected they would make sure everything was clean and ready to go; what I wasn’t expecting was that they took our table layout sheet and set up all the tables for us! Since the cleaning ran a little behind, they wanted to make sure that everything was in order in the amount of time we had. Lindsay went above and beyond by helping my husband and I put out the flowers on each table and helping to arrange them. She kept telling me to go home and get ready and she would finish up. My biggest surprise was when, upon returning for the ceremony, she had taken the extra flowers and created additional flower arrangements with her own vases. Lindsay is sweet, genuine, personable and caring. She attended to our needs in ways that I never expected. Lake Lyndsay is a beautiful setting, with so many possibilities and freedom of choice. The price was perfect and we’re so happy we chose this venue. One thing to keep in mind, we did run into issues with the trains and train yard located near the Hamilton side of access to Lake Lyndsay. We were late several times due to trains being stopped on the tracks. Lyndsay even went as far as talking us around all the various tracks to get to the venue in time for the wedding. I would suggest that you make your guests aware of this and suggest alternate routes to the venue. We could have avoided this stressful situation had we anticipated a possible issue.

Lake Lyndsay, Lyndsay herself and her staff were absolutely amazing. Being a COVID bride, I was supposed to get married June 27th. Lyndsay herself reached out to me and even saved me a back up date specially for me incase my fiancé, now husband, and I had to cancel/reschedule our wedding and this was at the beginning of April. We had to reschedule and they were so accommodating and helpful. Leading up to our wedding on October 17th, they continued to be helpful and answered any and every question I had for them. We rented out their decoration room that is available onsite (which is sooooo worth it brides! Any and everything you can think of is in there and you don't have to transport or be stuck with all of these decorations!) and they allowed us to come in multiple times to figure out what we wanted to use for our wedding. The bridal suite and groom's room are the perfect spots to get ready in for any size bridal party (we had 20 total). We booked the Main Lodge for our reception and it was perfect for our 270 guests to social distance while continuing to party all night long. The tables were 6ft apart but you couldn't even tell, the place is beautiful and compliments any decoration theme you want. The Lake Lyndsay staff is so helpful and professional and are willing to do anything they can to help make your big day as perfect as possible. There's so many more things I could say about this place considering I’ve been to numerous weddings here and my high school proms were hosted there, but the most important thing I can say is you will not regret booking this place!!

Lake Lyndsay was absolutely amazing from start to finish with our wedding! As a bride planning during Covid it was beyond stressful and they always helped me put my mind at ease! My wedding dreams came true at the venue Kayla’s Korner at Lake Lyndsay. They were always there to help answer any questions I had and everything about the venue is absolutely beautiful! I will always recommend Lake Lyndsay to any couple getting married!

I got engaged December 2018 (unexpectedly) and picking my venue was the first and easiest "check off" on my to do list. I looked at several venues and once we toured Lake Lyndsay we were both sold. (side note they recently made renovations and they are fabulous) The venue is gorgeous (all three buildings) and reasonably priced. I love the fact that it has amazing and beautiful views. We got married at the lodge on 09/19/2020 and it was beyond perfect. Sam was amazing throughout the process with answering all my questions and meeting several times to help with all and any questions I had. I LOVE that they have a decor room you can "rent" for the night as well- it helped SO much with decor (they have so much to choose from and it is all so cute) I LOVED the amazing bridal suite my girls and I got to hang out in all morning and get ready in. The staff is very friendly and work and help so much. I love that you get venue ALL day. I couldn't have pictured a better venue for our wedding day.

Literally the best day of my life! The venue is absolutely gorgeous for starts, and the staff made the process so easy for me and my husband! I was able to make multiple stops out to the venue to look at it and check things! It was so easy to get ahold of Sam and she always responded to texts within minutes! And set up and day of went off without a hitch! I couldn't even imagine having our wedding at another place! The compliments we received from our guest were non stop! It was without a doubt the best day of my life! 🥰😍

Beautiful venue, had an amazing time. The decoration room is well worth it if you go to the lodge. We loved our wedding here. Only thing that was a downside was the day of coordinator was overall not helpful and rude. We had an incident with an injury before the wedding on the property and she did nothing for it, knew nothing about the area and acted like nothing was wrong with what had happened. Otherwise it is an amazing venue with mostly amazing staff. Loved the diy aspect the the venue. It helps you save money and is a lot of fun!

Lyndsay and her staff were not only wonderful at their job but very cooperative regarding the whole covid issue. During the covid situation, Lyndsay agreed to have my daughter’s small wedding ceremony at the gazebo then to reschedule the reception for later date Nov. 2020 . However, in late May, the governor expanded the receptions to allow 300 people so Lyndsay allowed to switch back to our original to July 2020 date to have both wedding and reception that same day. Lyndsay is all about working with the bride and family to the the best of her ability given the circumstances. We chose this venue ( we rented the lodge/ gazebo on lake) for the beauty-(super gorgeous), convenience logistically ( close to Cincinnati and Dayton) and also the freedom to select our own vendors to personalize this day. Many vendors love this venue because Lyndsay and he staff are a joy to work with. Lyndsay runs a top notch company and truly cares about helping each bride experience the wedding of her dreams! We are sooo thankful we chose Lake Lyndsay!

The venue was perfect for us. We loved how flexible the venue was with vendors. Because of this flexibility, we were able to customize our wedding in every aspect and make it exactly what we wanted. The venue is also beautiful, which was an extra plus!

We had such an amazing experience at Lake Lyndsay! We had both our ceremony & reception at the Beach House and even though it rained all day, the venue is setup nicely to keep everyone warm and dry - all our guests kept complimenting how pretty it was to look out at the lake with the rain behind us during the ceremony! The staff there are also super AMAZING and very helpful!! The rain caused a couple of our direction signs to fall apart and the maintenance manager took it upon himself to fix them for us! Lyndsay is also great to work with, very approachable and was always willing to answer all my crazy questions :-) I highly recommend this venue, you won't find anything else like it (especially for the great price)!!

What are you waiting for! Go check them out right now! We had our ceremony and reception here- and we couldn't have picked a better place. The photographers raved about the light coming off the lake (makes for beautiful photos), the caterers had all the room they needed for a gorgeous and delicious display, and the DJ was able to fill the atmosphere of Kayla's Korner in such a way that the dancing lasted all night! The staff at Lake Lyndsay was so good about answering our many questions over and over with professionalism, care, and enthusiasm for celebrating our big day! This is a family owned venue with 3 building options- and you can feel the love in each building and in each interaction you have with them. The pictures you see here are so beautiful- well I'm telling you its even better in person. We fell in love with the venue and picked our wedding date around it- hurry before they are booked too far out for you!

We had an absolutely incredible experience with Lake Lyndsay. We are so thrilled that we had our Mehndi night (the Indian wedding event that occurs before the wedding night) at this venue. It was beyond PERFECT. The lake and lodge were both STUNNING especially with all of the Indian decor we added. Everything went so smoothly. All of our guests and both my husband and I had a BLAST. We danced the night away (it's a great, BIG dance floor by the way!). Lyndsay was so wonderful to work with during the whole planning process. She was so flexible and helpful for any questions we had. I would highly recommend this venue to any future brides and grooms out there. We couldn't imagine our wedding weekend without this venue and we are so thankful we chose them :)

Lake Lyndsay was the PERFECT place for our wedding! They were so helpful and kind throughout the entire process! Very affordable, and we LOVED that we could choose our own caterers, and didn’t have to have a ‘minimum bar package’ like other venues. Lake Lyndsay is truly there to help your wedding day reflect YOU. I will never stop recommending them!!

The views of the lake speak for themselves, but the time that the staff takes into contacting brides/grooms and making sure that their worries are slim to none, is something that Lake Lyndsay is great at! I am so grateful this is where we chose to have our big day ❤️

My son and daughter-in-law had their wedding at the Beach House at Lake Lyndsay on Sunday of Labor Day weekend. It was a beautiful venue right by the lake. The weather cooperated which added to the great time everyone had. I had texted Lyndsay several times throughout the months leading up to the wedding. She was always very responsive and so helpful! I would absolutely recommend having your wedding/reception at Lake Lyndsay.

We just had our daughter’s wedding this weekend at the Lodge. It was beautiful. All the staff was very helpful. Lyndsay was great to work with! She was so sweet and quick to answer any questions we had. Also, there are so many beautiful places to do pictures and the bridal suite is amazing!

We had our wedding at the Lodge and used their decorations room and bridal suite. It was perfect. They have renovated the interior of the Lodge and it is so nice. They are priced right and are very easy to get ahold of and work with.

Lyndsay is the most wonderful venue owner. She was extremely helpful, answering questions even at midnight. They have great views and do not have a required vendors list. I would recommend them to any friend or family.

Lake Lyndsay is a gorgeous setting for a wedding. We had our ceremony and reception at Kayla's Korner and couldn't have been more pleased with our decision. Lynsday was so easy to work with and helped make our big day perfect! We loved getting married outside overlooking the water. The inside venue is beautiful and we loved that we could decorate to make it our own! We couldn't recommend them enough!

Lyndsay herself went above and beyond to make sure the venue would be perfect for our day!! She worked with last minute adjustements and was so easy to work with and really friendly! Talking with her in person or over the phone, made it seem like we have known each other for years! The venue itself was well kept & ready for us the day of. The event worker went out of her way, as well to make our day special. She came to us during the reception to let us know the sunset view was perfect, incase we wanted to get a few pictures in! I couldn’t have asked for anything better to make our day perfect!!! The venue is gorgeous as well!!

Beautiful venue! Staff were very helpful during a stressful time!

Venue is absolutely beautiful. Office staff is friendly. You get to choose all your own vendors, which helped us keep our costs down. We went with a Friday wedding because we were guaranteed Thursday to come in and set up, which honestly saved us a LOT of time and stress. We originally booked at the Beach House, but for the first time in twelve years the lake rose up and flooded. We were promised use of Kayla's Korner as a backup as it was not booked for our date, but anxiously watched the waters to go down as all our plans were centered on the Beach House and Kayla's Korner was just not our style. Lyndsay was FANTASTIC at helping us work around the flood and finding us some additional decorations to help us keep the feel we had been going for....with one small exception. I had to deduct a star because about a week and a half before the wedding, while we were still deciding exactly what to do, Lyndsay sent us a picture of the brown arbor that had replaced the white gazebo at the beach house. 1. We MUCH preferred the gazebo over the arbor. 2. We could NOT believe that a detail like that had been changed without us being informed. How hard would it have been to check in with us first, and change the arbor after our wedding? We were told that all the other brides loved it; but I can neither confirm nor deny. In the process of that conversation, I apologized for our attitudes as were were simply stressed and what I got back blew my mind. Lyndsay snootily reminded us that all they had been required to do per their contract was refund our money (which OBVIOUSLY they didn't want to do; there was no way that they would be able to fill our date that close to it, and who wants to lose that amount of income??) and they were going out of their way to help us and this flood was affecting them and stressing them out too and CLEARLY she had been too accommodating. Honestly, it was the most unprofessional interaction I have ever had with someone in any kind of customer service field. If it hadn't been a week before the wedding, I would have immediately taken my business elsewhere, and written the loss of the deposit off as a sunk cost. Thankfully, this outburst was a one time event and the rest of our wedding went smoothly, and Lyndsay kept up the same level of helpfulness as she had before. It still affected me enough to leave it in the review and take off a star as I could not be honest about our experience otherwise.

Lake Lyndsay Lodge is the perfect location. It provides you with an open canvas to create the vision you want for your perfect day. Although a lot of planning, everything came together better than I could've imagined and was truly my dream wedding. I can't say enough about the beauty of the building and the property surrounding. We rented the upstairs suite which was the perfect spot for us girls to get ready. Also, the decoration closet is a very convenient feature to take advantage of. All of the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating, as well. They were quick to answer any emails with questions I had up to the night before. Our day of representative, Kelli, was great and really helped out with cleaning at the end of the night. Overall, we had a great experience with Lake Lyndsay and highly recommend to anyone looking for a gorgeous setting with the freedom to make your wedding one of a kind.

I contacted them twice to schedule a tour and have yet to receive a reply back. I’m not sure if the venue is nice, but it’s really unfortunate that I haven’t had a chance to see it.

My fiancé and I had a tour scheduled at Lake Lyndsay as we were considering having our wedding and reception at one of their venues. I live out of state and scheduled the tour in advance for when I knew I would be in town. Less than 24 hours before the tour I got a voicemail saying that the lady (Sharon) would no longer be able to show us around because she just found out about a wedding happening at that same time. I called her back and left a voicemail politely declining any opportunity to reschedule because it concerned me with the double booking that something like that could happen to us on our wedding day. After already being unimpressed with the lack of organization, I received a text from Sharon telling me to "have a nice life." Not the type of person I want to be working with when planning my wedding.

You are pretty much on your own when it comes to vendors, but I liked having the endless options and flexibility to make our wedding fit us perfectly! Sharon was a great help and always quick to answer questions. It was a gorgeous day at a gorgeous venue!

This was absolutely the most perfect spot for our wedding - I'm SO happy we chose Lake Lyndsay! We had our ceremony and reception at The Lodge - we had about 250 guests (with extra tables so we didn't have to do seating arrangements), and food stations which filled out the extra space. Our pictures from the ceremony are SO BEAUTIFUL, with the lake in the background. For the reception, we wanted a rustic feel and this ended up being perfect. We worked with Sharon leading up to the wedding - she was so wonderful and very helpful and responsive. She went out of her way to be as accommodating as possible. Our day-of staff was wonderful, as well, and so helpful with the vendors. Overall, a GREAT experience. I would highly recommend Lake Lyndsay!!

LOVE LOVE LOVE. I can't tell you how grateful my husband and I were to have found this little gem. Sharon is just incredible and is there for you every step of the planning process. She went out of her way to make sure that all our questions were answered and that every detail was taken care of. The view is gorgeous and the decoration room was a big lifesaver, we didn't have to buy (or transport) any centerpieces or decorations. They allow you to bring in any outside vendor, which helped our budget enormously (no required caterer charging $100 a head... ) Our pictures turned out absolutely stunning, and all the guests raved about the venue. I would highly recommend Lake Lyndsay to every couple.
