Largo Resort

We just did a full buy-out at Largo Resort for our wedding 4/6/24. It was exactly what we pictured- an intimate, private paradise, with all of our closest friends and family. Our immediate family and wedding party all stayed on the property (about 32 people altogether). This included the houses on the property next door. The pros: we loved having the entire resort to ourselves. The property has lush , tropical florals, beautiful water views and a lovely pool. The inside of the accommodations were up to date and clean. There was docking for boats, which was great for our guest who took his and when we wanted to rent one for the entire day. There were also kayaks and paddle boards, which all of our guests enjoyed. We also liked the cornhole but it was broken, so we made due using some rocks to prop it up. Most of the employees from the management company were communicative and so was the owner, Mr.Siroff. There were several concerns my parents raised upon visiting the property initially. Once I had mentioned a few of these concerns to the owner and management company, every single one was rectified in time for our big day, something I was beyond impressed with. They even went as far as fixing the pool tiles that were missing on the day before we checked in. The care and responsiveness was very much appreciated. Throughout our stay, we had several dedicated team members working with us. Ones that stuck out in particular were Megan, who helped us with our planning and our time on property. After experiencing some miscommunications with another staff member, she stepped in and helped us have a great experience with our friends and family. Alissa, who was very visible on the property during our stay and helped us with the check-in process along with providing us with support during the weekend. One of the most important staff members was Stan, the head of maintenance . He went above and beyond to clean up the property and provide us with everything we needed, always with a genuine smile. He was always willing to help. He really stood out to us from the start of the weekend up until the last moments. In addition, the cleaning staff who helped with the Grand Lodge were also very accommodating and friendly. I did not catch their names, but am very thankful for them. Within the accommodations, items of need were limited: garbage bags, paper towels, ice, clothing steamers, ironing boards, ample space for food and drinks in the fridge, coffee and coffee filters, cleaning supplies. For the price, the house should be fully stocked at all times. I also believe that when we first toured the property, it was stated there was 2 fridges/ freezers, that is no longer the case. Overall, our guests and our families loved the resort and had the most amazing weekend there. There were small things that we would have improved, but that can be said with any place you stay. From my conversations with the owner and management, it seems that Largo Resort will continue to be improved upon with time. They certainly proved that to me prior to my big day. I would 100% recommend the property to other brides looking for a private resort that can provide amazing memories for years to come. I plan on coming back one day when we have kids to show them where we got married.

We were at the Largo Resort from Fri - Mon and have to say what a truly amazing experience / from the property - accommodations - pool & amenities was spectacular. Everyone there was so helpful and accommodating. Was like having ur own private slice of paradise

We just booked out the resort for our wedding and OMG was it gorgeous. Largo Resort is such a unique venue for the Keys. We wanted a beach wedding that had a boho feel and Largo proved to be just that. Our guests loved that there was a kayak and paddle board for use and they got to see lots of great marine life. The pool area was great for hanging out during the day with our guests and the sunset views are unmatched. We worked closely with Megan and Bich and it was a pleasure. Megan was so kind and helpful through the process. Bich was communicative and made us feel like family! You can tell they both are genuinely so happy for all the couples who spend their special day there. The rest of the staff was accommodating and helpful as well. Largo is a great spot to get married and we loved that it allowed us to spend so much time with our guests. If you’re looking for an intimate wedding spot with beautiful views and greenery, look no further!! Thank you Megan, Bich, and Alyssa for all that you do!

From the very beginning, Megan and the staff went above and beyond to make our day perfect. A Private Paradise: What truly sets Largo Resort apart is the complete buyout option. Having the entire property to ourselves created an intimate and exclusive atmosphere for our celebration. It felt like our own private island paradise, allowing us to fully enjoy our special day with close friends and family. Breathtaking Setting: The venue itself is stunning. Lush tropical surroundings, a sparkling infinity pool, and the turquoise waters of the Gulf. Provided a magical backdrop for our ceremony and reception. The breathtaking sunsets were the icing on the cake, offering stunning photo opportunities. Accommodating Staff: Megan and the staff at Largo Resort were incredibly accommodating and attentive to every detail. They were professional, friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure our guests had a wonderful time. Memorable Experience: From the planning stages to the execution of the event, Megan and Largo Resort exceeded our expectations in every way. They played a key role in making our wedding a truly special and memorable experience that we will cherish forever.

We did a resort buyout for our wedding weekend in December 2023. Unfortunately, we were unable to have our wedding (~80 people) on site due to severe weather including gale force winds, rain, thunder/lightning and the possibility of the site flooding. The safety of our guests and vendors was important, and we were advised by our very experienced planner that we needed to find an indoor venue (within 48 hours of our wedding - stressful). While our circumstances were extremely uncommon, there are some things you should be aware of as you consider the Largo Resort for your wedding… Pros: The décor is really lovely, which is why I picked it in the first place. The pool is very nice and a great place to hang out with your guests. There are two houses next to the resort that have the same Bali-inspired theme. The staff gave a family in our group the two bedroom house after learning the number of guests in their original room would be too many. This was very nice. Cons: Rooms closest to the entrance have road noise. Rooms are touted as luxury but half of them have Murphy beds, which is a let down when guests are paying so much. We were given two suggestions to get us to keep our wedding on site. One was to get rain boots for all of our guests. The second was to relocate our wedding into the Grand Lodge, even though they originally told us this wouldn't be an option due to the building's fire code. After MANY conversations, we were given only 20% of our site fee back. We were told that Key Largo would need to be evacuated according to our contract, even though circumstances meant we could not safely have a wedding on premises. Overall, we truly wanted to get married on site but simply couldn't due to safety. The response from Largo Resort was that of a corporation, and not a local resort who wanted to ensure someone's wedding weekend was as perfect as it could be. No one can control the weather, but you can control how you react to it.

We had our destination wedding at Largo Resort and it was literally perfect. Picking Largo Resort as our wedding venue was probably the best decision we made during our wedding planning. The location couldn’t be beat with the sunset setting behind the arch. We even had a manatee come say hi during the ceremony! Our family and friends were all so happy with the rooms and resort amenities. Lana and her staff are extremely professional and were ready to help us with whatever we needed. Lana helped us so much during preparation and couldn’t have been a better person to have guiding us through the process and being our point of contact. She is so clear and so helpful, she always answered all our questions right away and we had a loooot of questions through the planning. One of our favorite parts is how confortable Lana made us feel at the resort during the weekend of our wedding, we felt right at home and had this magical place just for us, our family, and friends. Lana's only worry during that weekend was to make sure we were having the best weekend of our lives. We are truly grateful to know her and to have shared such a special weekend with Largo Resort and the whole team. Thank you thank you thank you!!!

Where to begin! From the first communication with Lana and Gabrielle they were informative, answered all of my questions in a timely fashion and so fun to work with. Going to get married at a venue site unseen was a bit scary but I cannot even put into words how amazing Largo Resort is. I cried tears of joy when I first laid eyes upon it. It's truly a little slice of paradise. They communicate rules and expectations incredibly well and have a list of amazing recommended vendors. Overall I would do it all again in a heartbeat. We did a full property buyout and got to spend all weekend with our whole wedding party and their guests and it felt like we had our very own resort. Exclusive, private and stunning. Don't sleep on this wonderful location for your wedding.

My husband and I rented Largo Resort for 3 nights for our wedding last May! The resort is absolutely stunning. Picture perfect in every way. We had 25 guests and it was the right size for our group. The space could certainly accommodate more people if some guests were staying off site but we had everyone stay at the resort. We used the grand room in the lodge for our rehearsal dinner and the dining room for the bridal suite. It truly looks like a castle in there. The master bedroom is also super luxurious for the bride and groom. The bungalows are the perfect size for a couple or group of 4. We loved that everyone had their own space to relax. The pool is amazing (heated and huge) and our guests spent a ton of time enjoying the FL sunshine in and around it as well as the kayaks, paddle boards and bikes! The team at Largo Resort (particularly Lana and Gabrielle) were very kind and accommodating. I asked them every question under the sun and they were always ready to help me. I am thankful for their efficient communication and friendliness towards me and the other guests. That personable touch is what makes this place so special. Overall, Largo Resort is a secluded, tropical oasis. You will feel the natural beauty of the resort the moment the gates open. I’m so grateful that we chose it as our wedding venue and I absolutely recommend it to future brides, families and couples ❤️

We rented this venue for my daughter’s wedding and we were able to rent the entire resort for the weekend of the wedding. The grounds and accommodations were very clean and decorated in great taste-just beautiful. It felt as if we were on a private island and not in Florida. The infinity pool was perfect as well.

My fiance and I would strongly recommend this property to everyone and anyone! From the beauty of the property, the grand lodge, bungalows, and the people! Largo resort has an absolutely amazing management team. My fiance and I were planning a destination wedding to the Florida Keys. We ran into legal issues with our previous wedding venue that left us scrambling to find a new venue. Through much research we compiled a list of new venue sites to see and my fiance and I took a last minute trip down to see each one in person. At this point, we were 6 months away from our date, so to find a venue available and willing to work with us and all our Vendors was going to be tricky. Just from the photos we thought Largo Resort was going to be out of our price range. We toured this property on a rainy, somewhat unsatisfying day, and even the clouds could not shade the sheer beauty or tranquility we felt while touring this property. As the iron gates opened, we drove down the long and luxurious driveway, Jackie, the manager, met us and walked us through the property and answered so many of our questions. We explained what happened to us with the last venue and how heartbroken it left us. Jackie truly made us feel heard and that we actually mattered to her. This personal touch and true empathy we could not find anywhere else (and trust us, we looked! lol). They were even willing to take all the vendors we signed and try for new business with them. Her and Lana shared photos books and additional photos of how people pulled their own unique weddings off on their property. They even allowed us to negotiate a price that was within our budget! As soon as we drove off the property I turned to my fiance and said this is the one! Needless to say we were thrilled by the beauty, but even more so by Jackie and Lana who shared stories and were willing to just sit back and chat with you, as opposed to try to sell you. We signed a contract and were back at our wedding planning! The friendly emails and check-ins I received from Jackie and her excitement for our day in her signatures left us overjoyed and anxious to get there. We were 10 days away from our Wedding date and COVID-19 hit, shutting the Keys and all resorts down. We could not have been more devastated. The general manager, Doug contacted us and asked us to choose a different date for an additional discount. As tempted and hurt as we were, it just could not work with our schedule. With most of our family and friends being first responders or nurses, we had to cancel with the uncertainty of COVID. Through it all, we had to cancel. Doug and Jackie were again, so pleasant to work with! They kept us informed along the way and were able to provide a full refund. We cannot speak strongly enough for how incredible these people are, and how awe-inspiring this place is. My Fiance and I KNOW that we will be back to Largo resort soon. I strongly encourage others to do so too. If you are looking for heaven on Earth, you’ve found it.

If you are looking for a tropical oasis wedding location Largo Resort is it! It is a private resort that makes you feel like royalty. Lana and the Largo Resort staff are amazing and so so helpful! Our first visit to Largo Resort was a rainy day and was still so beautiful that we choose it for our venue! I promise you will not be disappointed!

Wow i can go on and on about Largo Resort. So for the first part, This place is like NO other venue in the Florida keys (we visited everywhere from Miami to key west). This place IS paradise. It’s a unique and hidden gem. We are always in awe every time we visit. Largo Resort is the perfect venue to have your closest friends and family stay with you on your special weekend. IT has a gorgeous view of the bay with an amazing drift wood wedding arch included. The tiki, house, bar, Buddha’s and statues, large trees, around the property make you feel like you’ve stepped foot into Bali! The house itself is out of this world! I love the earthy rustic and peaceful vibe the property gives off. I plan to be back every year for our anniversary:) Second, the staff... Sabrina and Jeffrey are some of the most coolest, easy going people you can meet in the industry. Both very handy, hard working and knowledgeable. Sabrina handled my Day of Coordinating .. and more! She made sure our wedding rehearsal and wedding day went completely smoothly! Sabrina took the time to answer all my emails and phone calls.. and accommodated me to visit the venue as much as i wanted! She helped go over all details a long the process. Sabrina also handles all rentals and full bar if needed. It’s great how much she can do! I also had the pleasure to work with Vanessa, she assisted us in all our needs and checked in our guest. We loved how friendly she was with everyone! My wedding went incredibly flawless. I had a 100+ Guest, aprox 9 vendors and A LOT of details for my wedding and on top of that, about 25 guest staying in property. I owe it to Sabrina, Jeffery, Vanessa and the rest of largo resorts staff for Making my wedding weekend a dream come true. Thank you!!!

Largo Resort is by far the most amazing and unique wedding or vacation venue you could ask for! After Irma caused our previous venue to close, we were in a panic to find something that would be as nice. We can confidently say that our wedding at Largo Resort ended up even better than it would have at our previous place. Saida was incredibly helpful in facilitating everything and was available via email or text for every little question we had. Overall, the location is just beautiful beyond words. The pictures don’t do it justice. Infinity edge pool overlooking the water? Amazing. Intricate driftwood arch on the sunset pier? Incredible. Dinner and dancing under the palm trees and hand carved tiki hut? We just can’t convey enough how perfect this all was. The main lodge is a mix of clean and modern with eccentric Bali inspired décor. The bungalows were as equally perfect and allowed us to have about half our guests stay on-site for what ended up as a private vacation venue for a weekend with family and friends. If you’re looking for an intimate venue that can turn your wedding into something your guests will remember, (turned into a beach party for us!) you need to choose Largo Resort! We did not in our wildest dreams imagine our wedding to be as amazing as it was here! In short, stop looking for your venue and chose Largo Resort! There is truly nothing comparable out there.
