Laurel Mountain was the best vendor I worked with day of! Mark and Anastasia went above and beyond to not only make sure they were capturing every aspect of our day but make sure we were looking perfect in the process. Anastasia was frequently adjusting my dress, hai, veil and even bouquet to make sure I was looking perfect. Mark pinned all of the guys boutonnières, fixed cuff links and even went as far as to help one of our family members in a wheel chair so she could be a part of the pictures. We got over 1100 pictures back from a 9h day. For a majority of the day the weather was crappy, it was a constant cold mist but from the pictures you can’t even tell the weather wasn’t perfect. I would book them again in a heartbeat. They also so generously traveled from Pittsburg to Hershey (about 4h) to capture our day. If you are looking for a “do it all” photographer Laurel Mountain is perfect!

Anastasia and Mark were the perfect photographers to capture on our wedding day! Leading up to the big day, Anastasia was very communicative and helped a lot with last minute changes to photography locations in light of weather. I am so happy that I had Anastasia and her assistant, John, from Laurel Mountain Photography as my wedding photographer! Anastasia was so kind and friendly, and she had so many ideas for poses and photos and I was blown away. I wish I could give Anastasia and Mark more than 5 stars! My husband and I live in Charlotte, NC , yet we decided to take our engagement photos in Pittsburgh where he is from. From the moment I saw Laurel Mountain Photography’s portfolio I just knew I HAD to have them for my wedding! I reached out and got a very quick response. From the start, Anastasia was kind, helpful and gave the best advice through wedding planning. The day of the wedding, the spot I wanted to get pictures fell through. Anastasia had come early to check out the location and realized this so when she showed up to my house she already had a back-up plan in place and the pictures DID NOT DISAPPOINT. Anastasia and John provided exactly what we were looking for on our wedding day: they were punctual, organized and paid attention to every detail to ensure that we got every shot we could want without having to think about it. Moreover, their experience in the craft meant they already had shots planned out that we wouldn't have even considered to make the best use of the location (Oglebay Resort in Wheeling, WV), time of year (late February), and weather. They were exceptionally professional throughout the day, but also relaxed and easy to work which made the whole process seamless. The turnaround time on our photos was also incredibly brief (approx. three weeks) compared to others, so we were able to share a lot of favorites by the first month following the event. In short, we were very happy with our experience and would recommend them without hesitation to anybody looking for the right photographer for the event of their lifetime.

They were fantastic to work with! Very easy-going, polite and friendly. My husband and I really liked that they were more low-key and not very "in your face" like it can sometimes get at weddings. Made sure that they got every photos we wanted to have and gave some great suggestions for things we didn't think of. My cousins also used them at their wedding which is what made us decide to hire them as well! Would definitely recommend!

Due to covid, my wife and I had the pleasure of working with LMP over the last couple years! Our September 2020 wedding got pushed to September 2021, so we had lots of time to coordinate and plan for our wedding photography beforehand. There were a few blips in the road of wedding planning, guests not being able to make it, rain locations, and more, but we were SO happy with how our photographs turned out! LMP captured every magical moment of our day, and you can feel the warmth and love in every picture. We appreciated their flexibility with our photography style (more candid rather than posed) and with the location changes due to a very rainy day at 7 Springs. Overall, we highly recommend using them!

Great communication, active on social, provides teasers and has quick turnaround! Anastasia met us in downtown Pittsburgh, PA for our engagement photo shoot. She has tons of great ideas and favorite spots - she led us around and told us how to pose for each photo. Being told what to do in photos takes SO much pressure off of you. Due to impacts of Covid-19, we were looking for a quick turn around of engagement photos - we got them in less than a week! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

My husband and I hired Laurel Mountain Photography for our September wedding. Anastasia and John were our photographers, and we truly couldn't be happier with the moments they caught from our wedding day. They were patient in dealing with the children in our bridal party and generally made the day fun and relaxed for everyone involved. Our ceremony pictures are incredibly beautiful and meaningful and were handled in such a way that the sanctity of the sacrament was never disrupted. The bridal party and family photos are perfect and capture the personalities of those involved for sure! The pictures of the two of us are romantic and unique (and we had fun taking them too)! There are some really cute and funny moments captured at our reception, and, thinking back on the evening, we didn't even know that Anastasia and John were there. They handled things so subtlety that we never felt that our time together and with family and friends was disrupted in any way. We have some amazing memories caught on film, and I am particularly thankful for those memories now because we lost my mom suddenly just a few months after our wedding. She was so happy throughout the day, and I love looking back to see her joy so perfectly captured in our wedding photos. Thank you so much! We love looking through our pictures, and you made it nearly impossible to select a reasonable number of favorites (we'll figure it out though)!

This may be the most difficult review I've ever written because it's hard to find the words to articulate just how amazing Laurel Mountain Photography is. The struggle of comparing countless vendors is still very fresh in my mind so, I'll make it easy for all the soon to be brides out there. Here are just a few reasons you need Anastasia and Mark to shoot your wedding: 1) Anastasia was always available for my seemingly endless list of questions and responded promptly. She also met with me several times to talk through every detail, including meeting me for a tour of the venue and helping to map out a list of locations for our creative session. Planning a wedding can be stressful, especially when trying to stick to a budget. Anastasia was always up front and honest about what would suit my needs best and didn't try to push me toward a higher priced package. 2) My husband and I were on a very tight schedule and had a limited amount of time between the end of the ceremony and the start of our reception. We didn't do a first look or any bridal photos prior to the ceremony so we had to do all our creative photos in addition to the more formal family photos within a tight window. Mark and Anastasia were AMAZING at keeping everything on track and ensuring we stayed on schedule. Rounding up two large families for photos is not an easy task but they were the perfect combination of firm yet polite. I always joke that my life is a real life 27 dresses. I've been in so many weddings and, as a result, have encountered so many wedding photographers and Mark and Anastasia are by far the easiest people to work with. They bring an element of calm to the day that every bride needs. They've shot the weddings of 3 of my best friends as well and they've all been blown away by the final product. 3) Finally, and most importantly, our wedding photos are out of this world. I honestly cannot even begin to describe how beautiful they are. I've had people reach out to me asking if these photos appeared in a bridal magazine. This is not due to any supermodel good looks of mine, believe me! This is all because of the unparalleled talent of Anastasia and Mark. Their ability to capture beauty in the most ordinary things is astounding and their attention to detail brings perfection to every single photo. Not to mention, our photos were ready in just 2 weeks! My husband and I are still trying to decide which 11x14 we'd like printed because it's impossible to pick just 1 favorite.
