Les Bourgeois Vineyards

Les Bourgeois was a beautiful venue for our spring wedding! We loved having our ceremony over the blufftop. I asked and had a lot of questions answered over the course of my wedding planning. Staff always responded in a very timely manner and were super flexible with us! There was a change of event manager between the time I booked and the date of my wedding. Tara, who took over, was new to the role so there was a bit of a bump there. She did her best and was so friendly, but it was clear the venue just needs to iron out their processes and communication. I also would have liked for the event manager to check in with us more during our setup. I was not greeted upon arrival or checked in on during set up at all. We ran into a couple of hiccups with communication. We had planned to go to the venue and pay the Friday before our wedding, confirming time with Tara. However, when we got there she was not there and had not set up for another staff member to collect our payment, so we were stuck waiting about 30 minutes to get that figured out. There was also some confusion about purchasing beer for the reception and the cost did not make it onto the invoice. We worked it out and just paid for the beer consumed afterwards, but I think that could have been communicated and made clear to us much better beforehand. Overall, LBV was a great value for us and fit into our budget. Having ceremony and reception in the same location was convenient. Food was great!

Beautiful venue. Holds 100 persons only so intimate setting. Great food and drink. Very good value for a wedding.

My husband and I recently got married at Les Bourgeois vineyards and we couldn't have had a better experience on the day of our wedding. The servers were fantastic. The location is perfect and the pricing is AMAZING and was well within our budget. We got a lot of great feedback from our guests about the beauty of the location, the taste of the food and service of the staff. Cant thank the staff enough!

My husband and I chose Les Bourgeois Vineyards for our October 2019 wedding in Mid-Missouri. Mary Lathrop and the whole team at LBV were true professionals who provided a wonderful experience for us, our families, and our guests! We live out of state, and could only make a few in-person visits to the winery during the planning process. Mary worked with us to find times for meetings and tastings that worked within our limited schedule. LBV provided more than just space and food - they handled chairs, linens, dining ware, some light decor, and even had a list of recommended vendors for anything else we needed. The LBV team were great communicators - quick to respond, easy to work with. The contract is clear and fair. The food and drink selection is extensive, and we were absolutely pleased with our choices. We hosted both our ceremony and reception on site (at the Blufftop Bistro) and Mary guided us through the logistics and transitions between the wedding and afterparty. She fielded every question (and there were so many) with patience and kindness, she was open to our ideas, and we were grateful to have her leadership during the year we planned our wedding. Good team, great work, would highly recommend for any future weddings or parties.
