When we started planning our wedding for Halloween of 2020 one of the first things out of my mouth was “I’m not really a flower girl so I don’t even know where to start.” I can confidently say that Lisa 1,000% turned me into a flower loving girl IMMEDIATELY! Her unique take on florals, her magical eye for design, the love and care that she so clearly puts into every element of every project, the joy and giddiness she brings to every meeting, the list goes on and on. If you want florals that will take you and your guests breath away and have people asking “who did your amazing flowers?!” for years to come after your event, then you just HAVE to go with Lisa. My husband and I were lucky enough to hire Lisa for both of our Halloween weddings AND my little sister also hired Lisa for her winter 2022 wedding so we really got to see how consistent and versatile she is. I also have to take a minute to just talk about her amazing personality. You can see from her portfolio how stunning her skills are but who she is as a person, also a 10/10. So sweet, caring, fun, funny, energetic, passion filled, the list goes on and on. I could probably write a whole book about how great Lisa is but I’ll leave it at this, if you’re considering hiring her for your special day, absofreakinglutely do it. I can guarantee you will not regret it!

Where do I even begin!? When I contacted Lisa regarding the florals for my wedding, I didn't even have a color scheme. I was torn between summer vs. fall colors for my September 3rd wedding and just told her "whatever is local and in season!" She came back with the most GORGEOUS floral proposal I have ever seen. It PERFECTLY captured the late-summer/early-fall vibe I didn't know was possible. Not just florals and overall decor, entire tablescapes including candles and suggestions for tablecloths/runners, chairs, napkins, etc. She also worked with my cake baker to provide fresh and pressed flowers for the cutest wedding cake trio of my dreams. She basically planned my wedding and it turned out AMAZING. I'm still getting compliments how beautiful everything looked. I cannot recommend her enough, she is THE BEST!

When I came upon Lisa’s floral repertoire while looking for a wedding florist, I instantly knew I had found the one. Lisa is a wizard when it comes to floral design, translating lofty visions into dreamy realities. Her passion for her craft and her clients came through in every interaction that I had with her. I hired the Elopement Co for my elopement near Traverse City, Michigan in August 2021 and it was a decision I will never regret. They took care of everything! From my exquisite flowers to my beauty needs and all the photography—every detail was taken care of. Krystle, Destany, and Lisa were absolutely amazing, so kind and lovely—they made it such a low stress day for us.

Wow wow wow no words will ever be enough to explain how amazing Lisa, Krystle, & Des (The Elopement Co Team are). They went above and beyond working with us when we had to pivot and reschedule and made our day more perfect than we could ever imagine. We left pretty much the entire day up to the team and they made a day better than we ever could have imagined. From the floral touches Lisa foraged (!!) from the hills where we got married, to the STUNNING hair & makeup job by Krystle & and THE PHOTOS I have old friends reaching out constantly saying how amazing the photos are. The whole day was an adventure as was perfect for us - even when we had keys locked in the car the whole team pivoted and made the day work out for a perfect change of plans and late night ceremony on the deck of our AirBnb. They even helped coordinate a surprise dinner for my (now) husband. The adventure elopement was absolutely worth every penny and more. We made new friends on top of it. We cannot recommend them enough- seriously if you’re thinking about working with them, DO IT! They’re supportive and creative and absolute professionals. I wish we could do it all again.

Lisa is a flower magician! She executed my floral vision for my wedding perfectly! Her flower arrangements are unique and unlike anything I have seen at another wedding. Along with my wedding coordinator, she mostly used greenery and candles to turn Warren Hall at the Journeyman into an elegant but simple ceremony and reception space. She went above and beyond by staying to help flip the space and figuring out a way to hang our neon sign for the reception. She is not only amazing the day of, but is also extremely responsive to emails and so helpful when figuring out design elements. I highly recommend hiring Lisa/Linnaea Floral for your wedding!

As a wedding planner and designer, I always want to make sure that the vendor team I recommend to my couples is top notch and any time we can have Lisa and her team at Linnaea as part of that collaboration, we know the floral is going to be incredible. Lisa has an impeccable eye for design and creative, unique approach to every event - we've collaborated on over a dozen events together and I can honestly say that NONE of them have been the same design. Linnaea is the best and a dream to work with!! Lisa created the most beautiful and unique floral arrangements for my wedding which included a fireplace installation, bouquets, boutonnieres, and table/venue decor. Everything was gorgeous and better than I even pictured!

Lisa took one last minute email and hodgepodge mood board from me and created my dream wedding flowers. She has a beautiful eye for florals and everything including our custom ceremony arch, lush table display, insanely fresh bridal bouquet, entire garden for our entrance and more was unique, stunning, and exactly what I wanted. Wedding flowers can be a big budget item but her end product is incredibly worth her price. She’s kind, understanding, and so easy to work with. She will make your dream come true!!

I am still swooning over the AMAZING work Linnaea Floral did - they turned my parents' backyard into a dream of a wedding venue. The floral arrangements were over the top, and really set the vibe for the entire day. I thought I had an idea for what I wanted in terms of the aesthetic, but Lisa simply outdid any idea I had. I can't sing enough praises about Linnaea Floral! Lisa is a GEM to work with, and my goodness, her blooms are just out of this world breathtaking. I hired her for my wedding last year (which was replanned a few times - thanks, COVID) and I remember sharing a few photos of a vision board with her over email early on. She came back to me with this full proposal that was so insanely spot on - my exact vision brought to life in writing. I was blown away. I was naturally even more blown away by how gorgeous the blooms she put together were in real life on the big day. They really set the entire wedding vibe and couldn't have been any more perfect for us. Regardless of the size, COVID weddings are no joke! From day one, Lisa made everything about our wedding season enjoyable and magical. In addition to planning our wedding, my (now) husband and I were moving to Michigan and starting new jobs. Needless to say, we really had no idea where to start. I found Lisa and she was a godsend. On top of floral arrangements that are out of this world, she pointed us to all the right people to make our day perfect! Believe it or not, of all the wedding related topics my husband could care about, he had the most opinions about the floral. Almost 2 weeks later, he's still talking about how unique and awesome all the floral was. So much love for Lisa!

It is hard to put into words how incredible Lisa is. 3 years before I was engaged I came across Lisa's Instagram account, to say I stalked her would be an understatement. Finally, after getting engaged she was one of the first vendors I booked because I just had to have her apart of our day. Lisa is one of the most kind vendors you will ever work with. She has this unique talent to create truly one of a kind works of art for every single wedding/event she does. When our ceremony/reception space was reveled to me I was in tears, Lisa brought my dream to life- in fact it was better than I ever could have pictured. She rolled with all the COVID and weather changes we had with grace and excitement. Our wedding decor was 99% Lisa's work and she did not disappoint, she is worth every penny plus more. Book her for your wedding now!!!

I never thought I’d be writing this. I was SO excited to have a more personal, creative, and down to earth artist design my wedding flowers. She was frankly the vendor I was most enthusiastic about booking. I didn’t want over the top grandeur or a showy display. I loved Lisa’s ideas, style, and the excitement she gave off even through email and texts. But the flowers for my wedding is my biggest disappointment from that day and it still haunts me. I wanted a winter wedding. Evergreens. Rich and dark colored blooms. I’m all for moody. And no. These weren’t over the top “big Pinterest dreams.” These were things I had discussed with her multiple times and had refined through numerous discussions. I got excitement and enthusiasm in response, not feedback that they could not be done. Garland centerpieces, an arch, pillar décor, personals, small floral elements for my cake table and cocktail tables. Was that so bad? I even loved my trial bouquet. But on the day of my wedding when I saw my bridal bouquet my heart sank. There was none of the rich texture or fun alternative elements – a blob of white with odd spring daisies that were not at all winter and the ugliest grape-looking “berries” everywhere – the cocktail table bouquets, my bouquet…honestly disgusting. It was a mess. I had to ask her to redo my bridal bouquet as well as all of the boutonnieres, which killed me. I wish I would have asked to redo the corsages as well but was worried there was no time and the boutonnieres were worse. The draping, lights, and lanterns I had personally bought and provided for my wedding arch that cost hundreds of dollars were completely left out, with just one small flower fixing. I was so looking forward to the arch. Specifically asked MULTIPLE TIMES to include them. And it was…forgotten? It was so disappointing, underwhelming, and I still feel like she just didn’t care that day. The pillar décor was barely there, unnoticeable. And she even called me two days before my wedding telling me she just didn’t have the willow branches she had said were no problem, sending me into a panicked two hours of me personally calling floral wholesalers trying to find it myself. By the time I actually found it she had as well. Would have been nice for her to just try that first… Further, I had provided fake Christmas trees and my mom later told me she had to personally direct them to fix one that had a huge bare space in the middle because it was set up upside down, and looking back I have a picture of that and how strange it looked. Thank god my MOM of all people caught it. Everywhere I looked at the floral elements on my wedding day of all days I felt angry, sad, and disappointed. I’m still upset because it was so far from what I had asked for, what I’ve seen in her previous work, and what I thought we had both agreed on. I would strongly reconsider this florist for your wedding day. Or at least I hope she cares more about your day than she did mine.

If you’re in any way hesitating or wondering if you should hire Lisa, all I can say is DO IT!!! In addition to being super responsive, from day one she had an amazing attitude and awesome vision. I feel like I didn’t even have to tell her much, and the florals at our wedding were everything I could have ever hoped for. I can’t say enough good things and wish I could give way more than 5 stars. 💗

Wow, not even sure where to begin with Lisa! She is INCREDIBLE. It feels like just yesterday that I sat down with her to discuss my vision for flowers. It was magical to see her start to sketch out ideas as my wedding planner and I discussed our vision. She was just as excited as I was about using the flowers to bring some color and vibrancy into our wedding day! The flowers ended up being one of my favorite parts of our entire wedding. The bouquets were breathtaking and even better than I originally dreamed of. She took my original vision and elevated it, which I love! She is clearly very talented at her craft. She delivered on every aspect of our contract and more. My bouquet looked so full and so big and beautiful. She decorated my naked cake as promised, which would have looked very, very naked without flowers on it. She even used flowers for a dual purpose, which I really appreciated. For example, she took the flowers from the wedding ceremony arch and used them on our head table, which ended up looking a million trillion times more stunning than I could have even imagined. An added plus is just that Lisa seems like a genuinely beautiful soul and wonderful human being. As a writer myself, I always appreciated that her language was just as flowery as her profession is! I always looked forward to receiving new messages from her signed something like “hearts and flowers”!! Receiving updates or messages from her was truly a breath of fresh air. In the middle of stressful wedding planning, her excitement (e.g., “YAYYYYY” and “SO EXCITED!!” and “XOXOXO,” etc.) always made me take a step back and feel excited for the wedding. I found that to be a huge added bonus and so helpful. THANK YOU, Lisa! I hope my sisters will have the honor of working with you when they marry!

Nothing but wonderful things to say about working with Lisa. She created a beautiful installation for our ceremony as well as absolutely stunning bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres, and centerpieces. Her style and creativity gave us the most unique and gorgeous flowers. We were floored when we saw everything on our wedding day. Lisa was also very patient and willing to make some adjustments along the way (especially near the end when we had a few tweaks!). Would recommend Lisa to anyone!!

WOW! Lisa is amazing! She is so much fun to be around, making the process that much more fun! She is very creative and talented! I wanted bright flowers in our wedding, ask and you shall receive. She created the most magnificent arrangements from my bouquet, to the table scapes at the reception, even flower crowns for my nieces to wear. People tell me all the time how beautiful the flowers were, she absolutely nailed it! Worth every penny! Literally, book her!!!

Lisa was a dream to work with! She listened to our daughter's vision for her dream wedding and created incredible creations! She looked at her vision board and helped her determine which flowers she wanted. She then created exactly what our daughter wanted. The flowers were the perfect accent to the bridal party, alter, and reception venue. Lisa was always available to answer questions and heard us when we had thoughts. I would recommend Lisa highly to anyone who wants someone who will listen and dream right along with you to create something unique to your vision!

I can't say enough wonderful things about Lisa!! She was great to work with, and she went above and beyond the vision I had for our wedding day. She created my bridal bouquet, my husband's boutonniere, floral hair combs for me and my mom, an arbor piece for our ceremony, greenery runners for our reception tables and decoration for the hanging structure above our sweetheart table. I was blown away by how beautiful our flowers were!!! I couldn't be happier that I chose Lisa to be our florist.

It's hard to find the right words to describe how insanely perfect Lisa made our wedding. We went with the full service planning and florals option with Lisa, and our wedding never could have happened so flawlessly without her. My husband and I were never great at articulating exactly what we wanted, and yet Lisa turned our day into the most perfect expression of both our personalities. From the beautiful bouquets, to the succulent table decorations, to the beautiful vintage furniture, she transformed my mom's backyard to a dream land. Every detail was thoughtfully curated specifically for us with perfect amount of sentiment, so there was nothing tacky or overdone about it. Lisa was a dream to work with from start to finish. Her tears of happiness on our day proved even more how passionate and thoughtful she is about her job!

Lisa was a dream to work with. When I first met with her I was unsure of what I wanted. She was able to listen to my vague ideas and come up with some beautiful options that fit within my budget. The final results were breathtaking. I highly recommend working with her.

Lisa made my wedding so beautiful! She provided all the flowers for my ceremony and reception. She was way more than just my florist, she helped me with a lot of the little details too! From the start Lisa was very responsive and even created a Pinterest board for me so we could share ideas. I am not very knowledgeable with flowers and didn't really know what I wanted, but she was able to put together something beautiful that matched the feel I was going for. Lisa also helped me stay in my budget. I told her what I wanted to stay at, and she was able to make modifications to the flowers to make sure I was still getting something beautiful for my budget. She was knowledgeable also, explaining to me which flowers would be in bloom for my July wedding. Additionally Lisa helped with my table numbers, and flowers for my cake. She had me work with her table number vendor, and when I was concerned about the color she took over and talked to the vendor directly, and they came up with an overlay that helped create the color I was looking for. The flowers on my cake were also just gorgeous. My centerpieces had 2 different styles, and a few months before my wedding Lisa reached out to my about some lanterns she recently acquired that she thought would go perfectly with my style and she said she would swap them out for 1 of my table styles and no additional price. She had this vision that just came together perfectly. I always felt like Lisa cared about my wedding just as much as I did and she wanted to make sure it was perfect. One thing that happened was she forgot 1 boutonniere, but when I called her she handled it professionally and was very apologetic. Accidents happen and it was not a big deal at all, we made it work. So many people commented on how beautiful the flowers and centerpieces were, my bridesmaids and I LOVED our bouquets! I would 100% recommend/use Linnaea floral again and again!

Lisa did a great job with all our arrangements. The bouquets were absolutely beautiful, as were the centerpieces. She also created a piece that was able to be used on the gazebo and on our head table, which looked amazing. The flowers were so fresh and fragrant. I highly recommend her!! Lisa was very accommodating to everything I had asked for and worked right alongside me and my ideas to bring together a vision that I was so happy to see turn out right in front of my eyes. Lisa (owner) is a young and energetic, genius florist! We connected mostly through e-mail which worked out well for me as I worked about 70 hours a week during the 4 months leading up to my wedding! She made the most beautiful bouquets - I loved them so much! She was so creative with the center pieces, designing three different versions to help save on costs. I had a few special and unique requests towards the last few weeks and Lisa was able to meet all of my needs under the short notice. I loved her work so much, I am sure to recommend her to every future bride I meet!

I had a very distinct idea on how I wanted the flowers for our wedding, I wanted to use succulents. I interviews four local florists (other than Linnaea), one told me succulents are too delicate to work with, one never got back to me once I told her my ideas, and one actually suggested I do it myself. Crazy! When I met with Lisa she was so excited to hear my ideas and seemed really passionate about what she does. Not only was she the only florist that said she could do it and was excited for it, but she was very reasonably priced. Guests were shocked when I told them what I spent on flowers, they assumed it was three times as much. It is definitely a smart decision to pick Linnaea Floral Design for your wedding!

Lisa at Linnaea was super excited about our ideas when we met with her. We priced out 3 local florists, and for only $35 more than the cheapest one, Linnaea was able to offer us almost double the flowers. She dropped them off the Friday before the wedding. The bouquets we kept in a dark, cool room and the corsages/bouts we kept in the fridge. Everything looked great the day of!! Everyone commented how beautiful the colors were. We love that we are supporting a small business that is just starting out!

Linnea Floral Designs. $605 for my bouquet & 3 bridesmaids, a toss bouquet, 8 boutineers, 19 centerpeices, and a unity candle arrangement. Simply amazing! They were so much fun to work with and the price is unbeatable. GREAT communication. They were made me feel so comfortable and were extremely helpful.
