Longshadow Ranch Winery

Longshadow was the BEST choice we could have made for our special day. It was the perfect size, not too large but not too small. the weather was absolutely beautiful for mid-November and Shayna and Shawna went out of there way to make sure everything was perfect. Most of our friends are newly engaged and raved all night about how great our big day was. The day could not have gone any better and we were so happy with everything!

Longshadow ranch is the perfect setting for a rustic wedding, the entire winey is so beautiful and the animals are a nice touch if you have kids at the wedding! Our wedding turned out to be perfect thanks to Shayna, she made sure every details was covered before the wedding and then ensured all those details were perfect on the day. I didn't have any stresses or worries on the day as Shyana made sure everyone was were they were supposed to be at the right times. We are still getting compliments on how beautiful the venue was, we definitely picked the best one of there!

What can we say but wow! From start to finish our wedding day was a dream. We booked our wedding at Longshadow Ranch and honestly, could not have made a more perfect choice for ourselves. The venue is spectacular, flexible with your needs and a wow factor for everyone in attendance (Not to mention the stunning animals they have on site!). The food was delicious (people were going back for seconds!), and the wine was never-ending. This is truly a hidden gem. As a Catering Sales Manager for a living, I tend to pay attention to every detail in an overly-attentive fashion. I did not have to worry about a thing with Shayna at the helm! She was amazing, friendly to everyone, patient when we were stressing and an overall caring person. With rain outside, she took every care in making sure that our surprise indoor ceremony was just as perfect as it was set to be outside. We could not recommend Longshadow Ranch Winery with any higher of praise. We will continue to visit because the team became like family to us.

This Venue is not my actual venue but wanted to leave a review on my planning process. My first date with my Fiance was at Long Shadow Ranch and we are wine club members. I love the winery and the wine so much when we got engaged we knew this is the place we wanted to have the wedding at. I reached out first thing in May and emailed back and forth with someone named Laurie. We had agreed to meet her on a Saturday in the morning and when we got to the winery she was no where to be found. The bartender went outside to call her and she did not answer- we told her we would be in the area all day to please call us if she came in. We went back again in the afternoon to see if she had showed up and no Laurie. We called all week to try and book and no answer. After a month of failed communication and no Laurie (did she even exist- I have no idea?) we decided we could not wait on our dream venue anymore. Apparently they hired someone new that still did not return our calls or emails. We booked next door after two months of waiting on Long Shadow. It was so upsetting to not be able to book here and it is sad this wonderful venue can not even call you back when you are trying to spend thousands of dollars with them. Hoping all the other Knot brides on here have a much different experience.

I fell in love with this venue the first time O saw it and knew it was going to fit my rustic wedding dream. Everything was going smoothly until the initial coordinator Laurie unexpectedly left. I did not get notified by the venue (and actually found about her leaving through my DJ) and it wasn't until a month or 2 of unanswered emails went by that the knew coordinator, Geneva, reached out. At the beginning of working with her, she was very hard to get ahold of and was extremely slow to respond to emails which concerned me and created unnecessary stress leading up to the wedding. My other vendors told me that although her poor communication was frustrating I shouldn't worry and that on wedding day everything would be great. Rehearsal day came and everything went well. She had my bridal party organized and had me feeling a lot better about the next day. Wedding day was fantastic. She exceeded my expectations for the day. All my decorations were where I wanted them, the bridal party was organized, all my other vendors knew where they needed to be... all in all, I had nothing to worry about and I was able to sit back and enjoy my wedding day without having to stress. The day was beautiful, the venues was perfect, the staff was so friendly and the day was everything I had dreamed about

Such an amazing venue! The scenery is amazing and the staff is incredible! They helped me every step of the way! Definitely recommend and has fantastic wine!

This review is with respect to simply trying to get in contact with someone to get information about having a wedding. I submitted info via their website to request for information on a Sunday, I didn't get anything so on Tuesday I decided to call LSR. I spoke to a woman on the phone that said she was the point of contact for info and that the website "must not have forwarded my info". I said I would be in the area on that Saturday, however she said she would be working behind the bar so I may have to wait for a bit till she could show me around and give me info. I did not get her name. That same day I sent a direct email to the one listed on their website to see if I could get some info. By Friday, I still had not received any emailed info so I called LSR again. I spoke to Mike and asked if I came in right when they opened (10am) on Saturday if he thought the woman would be available to speak to. He said that was the best idea and said her name was Genevieve. This concerned me since all of the info posted on wedding cites said the planner was named Laurie. We showed up right at 10am on Saturday, and were the only people there. Great! So we went up to the bar and I asked about Genevieve... They said she would be in around 11am. After two email attempts, two phone attempts, and one in person attempt... I still have no info about having a wedding there. I'm not going to hand tens of thousands of dollars over to people who can't even participate in the first step. So disappointing since it had the perfect vibe for the rustic wedding I wanted, but clearly they don't have it together.

Laurie Caty knows weddings. From beginning to end I didn't have to think about anything except myself and my girls. All of the little "behind the scenes" details were completely taken care of by her and their staff. I cannot thank her enough for helping me pull off the best surprise for my husband. From beginning to end, she was amazing. I lost count of how many compliments we received throughout the night about our entire wedding. I'm so thankful for all of the hard work that was put into making our day so memorable.

Longshadow Ranch Winery was the perfect venue for our special day. The location was easy to find, had gorgeous scenery, and the coordinator Laurie was fantastic. The entire day went perfectly thanks to having a wonderful coordinator. I couldn't imagine a more perfect day!

We fell in love with Longshadow Ranch years ago when we came for wine tasting, and we could not believe it when we realized how affordable LSR was for weddings. We were thrilled to book them and in the end we had the most beautiful, fairytale of a wedding a married couple could dream of. Alas, there were some serious problems that we faced with the staff running the ranch, therefore we do warn you to proceed with caution. Everything went as planned, until it was wedding time. Specific examples are: -We arrived with our large group for the rehearsal the day before 1 hour prior to the rehearsal's start time. We walked around the property and said hello to the few staff we saw. We waited up front for the coordinator to appear, and by fifteen past the appointment time we had to go look for her. We found her with other clients/customers casually conversing and she seemed surprised to see us. We were shocked that she wasn't up front and prepared for not only our start time but maybe even a few minutes prior to greet us. -The day of the wedding we arrived and the location had not been cleaned completely after the wedding from the day before. The floors in the barn, the bridal loft, the "groomsman suite" and the bathrooms hadn't been swept or vacuumed, and the "groomsman suite" even had broken glass on the floor which one of us cut our foot on. When our aunt kindly approached the coordinator about maybe running the vacuum, her response was that she didn't have enough staff to get the place cleaned up. -When we brought these issues to the owners' attention, they became defensive and showed poor business practices. -They also do not permit you to set up much sooner than your start time. Our wedding started at 5 and they originally would only let us set up at 2, but they were somewhat flexible and allowed us to come at 1. This made it really hard to be ready in time! Overall, the ranch is truly a beautiful place. It was a night we will always remember. We couldn't have anticipated that they would not have provided us with a clean facility and been professional through the very end, but things happen. You take a chance when you go with a venue run by a staff, and unfortunately for us we got less than we paid for. If you can outline these specific issues when booking and make your expectations for them to fulfill the full parameters of the responsibility of running your wedding venue, than it may not go as poorly for you. Just remind them to clean and to be professional about your rehearsal!

Oh how I adored our wedding venue!!! I knew I wanted a vintage rustic but modern style wedding with lots of personal touches but I didn't want to have to do everything myself (like tables and chairs). I was feeling discouraged when trying to find a reasonably priced venue that I really loved and then I found longshadow. Not only is the venue gorgeous but the staff and coordinator (Laurie) were amazing and helped with everything I needed all the way through the wedding day! I got so many compliments on the venue and I was amazed at how great everything went the day of. We love Longshadow and definitely will visit for anniversaries to come!!!

I am EXTREMELY happy with the service I got for my wedding at Long Shadow. From the wedding consultant, Samantha, to the bartender, Mike, they all came together to make our special day a success! The price was very affordable and I didn't have to sacrifice elegance. It has a rustic feel with the horses and the barn. I highly recommend this venue to the bride looking for a rustic, elegant and affordable wedding. I just want to thank them a million times over. Every single person in attendance loved the venue and the staff! All we heard was how it was the best wedding they have ever been to!

Longshadow is perfect for a rustic barn style wedding with plenty of elegance. With a beautiful background of vineyards for the ceremony and the new beautiful barn for the reception, this was the perfect setting for a crafty wedding. Sam, the coordinator was wonderful and so helpful, and the caterer the venue provides was amazing! Everyone raved about the food. The only negative I do ave was that the owner, who I never worked directly with, seemed to make things a little difficult for Sam to do everything she (and I) thought should be available to a bride. But in the end, Sam made it all work perfectly.
