Lookout Point Lakeside Inn

The view was amazing the B&B was charming, but there was little or no service included. We had a small 30 person ceremony in the gardens. Since it was a destination wedding, I called the week of the wedding so my fiance and I could see the venue in person. This is what the wedding coordinator told us to do if we wanted to look around and select a specific location for our vows. I called several times and each time I was discouraged from coming to see the venue. It took 3 different phone calls to get them to set up a time for me to check out the location. On the day of the ceremony itself, I got the feeling that they forgot there was supposed to be a wedding there. The receptionist seemed surprised to see us and asked us what kind of ceremony we were supposed to have there. Overall, we paid way too much for a beautiful venue with a very unprofessional venue staff.

I loved Lookout Point Lakeside Inn. My husband and I stayed there one weekend when we were dating. I was so impressed with the food, ambiance, the beautiful rooms and grounds that it was the first place that popped in my mind once we decided to get married. We had a small wedding and reception with 12 total people. Of course the garden was the perfect setting for our wedding. The reception was intimate and the food is phenomenal! I loved the appetizers we selected for our reception. I highly recommend the chicks in a blanket. I think the best part is that I didn't have to worry about anything. The wedding coordinator asked me about my ideas and then assisted with every aspect from securing vendor recommendations to ordering the cake. You can't go wrong with this venue. They have everything covered!
