Luscious made all of my bridal dreams come true! I felt like a celebrity! They came to my hotel room, brought all of the supplies and got right to work! They worked off a schedule so all the girls knew where to be at what time. By the time they were done, we all looked and felt so amazing! I highly recommend!

The best the best! Luscious and Co is absolutely amazing and Jerica and Wynonna are truly the greatest. From my trial to the wedding day, they made all my bridal dreams come true. They are so amazing and easy to work with and they made everyone getting their hair and make up done feel their best. I cannot say enough positive things about my bridal hair and make up experience with Luscious and Co. Before finding them, I did a trial with a previous make up artist and thank god I did, because it genuinely just wasn’t a good fit. I knew once I did my make up trial with Wynonna at Luscious that this was different and she was incredibly talented. I loved the way my look turned out. I showed her inspo pictures and she took the time to ask follow up questions like – What do you like about the photo? How do you feel about contour? Do you like how she has her eyeliner? I appreciated that because these are all things I overlook in a photo, but she took the time to really discuss what I liked/didn’t like which resulted in the exact look I was going for – a natural look with a tint of glam. All of my bridesmaids were also very impressed with their make up and said, “This is the best make up I’ve ever gotten” which means a lot considering they have all been in multiple weddings with multiple different make up artists. Other than her talent, Wynonna is just a great girl to hang out with. She felt like another bridesmaid all day and just like one of the girls. I will absolutely be going back to Wynonna the next time I need my make up done! Amber did our hair which also came out gorgeous. My curls lasted all night long! My maid of honor has never had a successful experience with a stylist who was able to curl her hair and have it last all night and well, Amber finally did it! Very impressive. Overall, I can’t say enough positive things about my experience with Luscious and Co. They are truly talented and the best of the best. Plus, they’re total sweethearts. Don’t hesitate to book them!

My entire bridal party (12 + 2 parents) got our hair and make up done at luscious and co the morning of my wedding. We started at 6:30 am and had plenty of time to get everyone ready including some extra scheduled time for touch ups. The bridal suite is gorgeous and the hair/make up artists were all so friendly and helpful. I have been in several weddings recently where I or other bridesmaids/bride haven’t been happy about hair/make up and ended up having to redo parts ourselves. Because of that, I made sure to double check with all of my girls and they were all truly thrilled with the results. I absolutely loved my hair and make up as well. Only advice I would say is that if you’re going to do extensions, definitely do a trial with extensions first. I decided later on that I wanted to try extensions and didn’t trial that before hand. My trial hair stayed perfectly but with the extensions in, my hair didn’t stay as well as it had previously and I ended up taking the pins out before the reception was over. It still looked amazing like that though! I would absolutely recommend luscious and co, you can’t go wrong with them!

The Owner Jess was very professional over the phone and made sure that I was 100% happy with my hair & makeup. I had Jerica for my hair stylist and she did a fabulous job. She did these beautiful romantic mermaid curls and was very kind/patient through the process with my family/friends. I really thought she was a lot of fun to work with. I had a very hot wedding in July but my curls stayed in place despite the humidity. We also had Joey doing hair styling for my Maid of Honor and she looked so beautiful! I also worked with Lena for my bridal makeup and she did the most gorgeous looks on all of us. I was so impressed by her artistry. She truly listened to what I wanted and made sure that I felt beautiful. I had a large bridal party with all different beauty needs and she was a pro. She made everyone look flawless. She also touched us up before we left to ensure we looked fresh. Overall I was really impressed on my wedding day by this team of beauty experts. We rented the upstairs bridal lounge and I'm so glad we did because we were able to bring Champagne and snacks while relaxing in a comfortable place. Thank you again to the bridal team, I highly suggest every one of these stylists / artists and I am so grateful for them.

I have been going to Luscious and co for about 2 years and when they told me they would do my wedding it was a dream come true!!!! I had a large group and everyone looked dropped dead gorgeous. Luscious and Co was amazing! From start to finish I was thankful… booking, making a schedule, and following through with flawless execution! My bridesmaids and mom’s felt so comfortable to say what they liked/ didn’t want and the luscious and co girls were great listeners! The vibes in the bridal suite were top notch and I’m so thankful to them all. Special shout out to Amber (hair queen) and Wyonna (makeup queen)! The Luscious & Co. team was absolutely amazing! If I could give them another star I would. Everything from holding my wedding date, to bridal party and my hair trial, the team exceeded expectations. When I first placed my inquiry, Jess was extremely transparent about how their salon reservation process worked, what steps I had to take with my bridal party, and she even helped me with a day-of timeline. It was easy to understand and my expectations of what was to come were fully managed. I opted for the payment schedule and it was easy for me and each of my bridal party members to call-in and pay for services that they had opt'ed for, (or pay during a regular salon visit), so that on the big day no one was scrambling to figure out what they owe and pay balances. For my trial, unfortunately with covid, I cut it super close to my big day. Lots of brides had rescheduled wedding dates and Luscious did everything they could to accommodate their new brides. With that, my trial ended up being two weeks out from my wedding day and I was incredibly anxious about it. My stylist, Jerica, made it a point to comfort my nerves and offer me a second session (before salon hours) on her personal time. Her kindness, calming demeanor and extensive experience helped me relax despite the million things I had running around in my head. I would tell all brides to come prepared with photos and 100% have open communication with your stylist. I know first hand that what I thought I wanted vs. what I actually had day of were two different things. Jerica helped me to understand that and get exactly what I wanted. My wedding day hair was absolutely stunning! THANK YOU LUSCIOUS TEAM!

The best decision I made was choosing Luscious & Co. to glam up me and my girls on my wedding day. The crew of Jerica, Ashley, Kate, and Jess did an amazing job from start to finish. I can not say enough good things about Luscious and Co. I hired them for my wedding which was originally supposed to be on 9/6/2020, due to Covid, we had to make several changes to dates, venues and bridesmaids - Liz and Jess were so easy to work with as well as understanding and accommodating. Our hair stylist was Jerica and our makeup artist was Wynonna who were also a blast to work with, they made my wedding morning super fun and laid back, not to mention their work was stunning! If you are still looking for a bridal company for your wedding, stop here and hire Luscious and Co., you will not be disappointed!

My wife used Luscious and co, and although it may be very untraditional for the husband to write a review for the hair and makeup team, I thought it was very important to share my experience. My wife had previously hired another team and they cancelled on her very last minute, with no backup plan. My wife found Luscious, although very far from our venue, they semmed worth the try due to their online reviews. She was so thrilled at her trial. Said she was blown away by their saftey measures, and how clean and sanitary all of their tools were. But she was so so so happy. I mean the kind of happy you only wish for your wife on her big day. Very thankful for this team.

All of the hair and makeup artists at this salon are truly amazing! It was a no brainer for me that I was using them for my own wedding after the amazing experience I had as a bridesmaid. This company was amazing to work with!! All of my bridesmaids were stunning and the hair and makeup artists really found a way to highlight their individual beauty while still looking natural. I couldn’t have been happier with how everything turned out. The airbrush and lashes were definitely a special bonus. Luscious and Co is truly amazing and go above and beyond for their brides. As everyone knows 2020 wedding planning was quite the adventure and they dealt with my numerous changes with grace. We ended up completely changing venues due to the restrictions and they worked so hard to move appointments at their salon so they would be able to make it to the bridal suite at our new location. We ended up having some extra time and they were SO kind and helped my grandmother style her hair even though she wasn’t planning on getting her hair done. She was so grateful and felt like a princess. My sister and mother now go to them to get their hair cut and colored they loved them so much!

So pleased with my choice of going with Luscious and Co for the day of hair and makeup. I felt like the bride I have always pictured since I was a little girl. They listened to every bridesmaid and gave them exactly what they wanted. Absolutely no complaints and would use them again.

The ladies at Luscious and Co were stellar, the price point is the best around, and the in-house bridal suite is beautiful. As someone who has been doing makeup for years, I could have very easily done my own makeup for my wedding day, but I did not want the pressure or stress so I decided to hire. I came in for a makeup trial and in all honestly, I was a little unhappy. I did not really get what I asked for and I did not look/feel like the “best version of me.” However, I communicated this to the staff and they let me come in for another trial, on the house, and I was extremely satisfied with the results. Deika was the lead makeup artist and she was amazing. Not only did she do an amazing job, but the entire team of 6 assigned to us was very accommodating, and followed requests with ease. Jerica was the lead hair stylist on the team and my hair could not have been any more perfect. I requested a half up half down look, and the bridesmaids had a variety of low bun looks. They were able to work with different hair types without hiccups such as Caucasian, Mixed, African American, thin, thick, straight, curly, frizzy, long, and short, you name it. I would highly recommend the ladies at Luscious and Co, I plan to continue using them for my hair needs. I wish I were able to post photos of the work of these amazing ladies!

Originally I wanted the make up and hair stylist to travel to the hotel for us to get ready. Then after seeing the salon I changed my mind admittedly. They have two bridal suites upstairs. They are absolutely stunning and AMAZING for our getting ready pictures!!! On top of the beautiful space the people that work there are some of the nicest people I worked with throughout the wedding planning process. They are kind! welcoming! I honestly feel like I left making new friends! Liz and Jess (the owners) are incredible at their jobs. I had 10 girls in total that needed hair and makeup. Jess and Liz did makeup and Jerica and Amber did hair. They are all AMAZING!!! i really do not know what other word to use! They were outstanding! Everyone of my girls LOVED their hair and makeup. We started getting ready way before the ceremony and their hair and makeup stayed all day! I highly recommend them! Thank you Luscious for making my day so special!!! <3

The Luscious team are goddess masters who know how to make you feel beautiful from the inside out! Sisters, Jessica and Liz are a power duo who partner with each bride (and their entourage) to make your beauty dreams a reality. They honestly and patiently answer questions. I had many on hair extension, lashes, and the final headcount! Deika and Jerica where my designated wedding beauty team who took the time to really listen to the look I wanted. I even changed the style for my hair the day of and Jerica warmly smiled and said "I can do that!" Effortlessly she pulled together my wedding dream hair with any prior practice- cannot tell you just how impressed I am with their whole team. Their bridal suites balance the perfect combination of glamour and comfort. My family and I will be going back for all our beauty needs!

Wynonna and Amber did such an amazing job! They put incredible effort into every detail and gave me the perfect look. The beauty team traveled to the wedding venue and brought everything with them so we didn't have to worry about traveling anywhere for the wedding. It made the whole process so much easier to finish hair and makeup onsite, then go right into the first look. My bridesmaids just loved their hair and makeup and everyone commented how they stayed perfect throughout the night. Everyone at Luscious and Co is so professional and kind as well. They really care about giving you the perfect day.

I couldn't be happier with how everything went at Luscious & Co. The day of the trial I was a little nervous that I would end up looking too fake or not myself. The makeup artist, Deika, had me try out fake eyelashes and a lighter, more traditional look. After thinking about it and constantly looking at the pictures I decided that wasn't for me and I wanted a darker look on the day of my wedding. Deika was able to make it exactly what I wanted when I wasn't even sure what that was! My hair stylist, Amber, was able to keep my hair simple so I still felt like myself but it looked perfect. It stayed all night and probably would have until the next day too if I had left it styled! I couldn't be happier with my experience. There was no surprises, the prices were exactly what's listed online and what I was told from the first conversation, even the time frames they gave were prefect. I wasn't worried about being there too late and having to rush back up to the venue 45 minutes away. I have already recommended them and will keep recommending Luscious & Co!

These ladies are nothing shy of amazing. They do a beautiful job and we’re great working with each of my girls so that they felt comfortable and beautiful. Each of my girls have very different hair so some posed more of a challenge than another. These women are extremely professional but also genuine and friendly. I do go to luscious as a regular customer for my hair care so when it came to picking a team to do beauty for my wedding day I didn’t even hesitate. I love these ladies and the entire team at luscious. I definitely recommend using them for your big day!

Liz and Jess were AMAZING to work with and made my bridal experience perfect. I met them when they did the make-up for my sister-in-law's wedding. They were professional, experienced, open, and so fun. They proved to be the same way for my wedding, if not more so! I am so happy I ended up choosing Luscious and Co to do both my hair and makeup on my wedding day. Amber and Deika made me look like a glowing bride and calmed my jitters as I was getting ready with their warm and fun personalities. Amber took so much care to give me my Old Hollywood curls, finished with a sparkly broach she helped me choose during my trial for my perfect look. The curls held all night! Deika made my face look bronzed, glowy and dewy with her airbrushed makeup. My eye makeup and lashes were done so masterfully and lasted all night! Close up, I did not look cakey at all, which was my biggest concern with bridal makeup. They are the dream team!

If you are getting married really anywhere in the CT area, you NEED Luscious. What you get in compassion for other salons is not even comparable to the service that luscious provides at a reasonable cost. Liz, Jess and their dream team make your day easy and produce BEAUTIFUL results that made myself and all my bridal party look stunning and flawless day of. They were setting up and ready for my wedding before 8AM (they travelled to Ridgefield for my wedding )and the day ran perfectly. Working with the lovely ladies at Luscious was easily one of the BEST decisions I made for my wedding day! Jess, Shawna, and the team were truly amazing and professional throughout the entire process. As a makeup newbie with dry and sensitive skin, Jess took the time to listen to my concerns, try different products on my skin, and recommend a skin care regimen leading up to the wedding so I didn't have to worry for my big day. She matched my soft and romantic style with my makeup so I felt like the most beautiful version of myself. Shawna took my pin straight, limp hair and gave it volume and curls that lasted throughout the reception. I have never felt so gorgeous in my entire life!! These girls are the best! They were ready for us at the salon at 5:30 AM and ready to go. They were very good at listening to what all the girls wanted while incorporating it with the overall theme we were going for. The Bridal Suites are gorgeous, and even though we ran over by almost an hour they never made us feel rushed or unwelcome.

Look no where else for all your makeup and hair needs. They are BEYOND INCREDIBLE. I knew after I worked with them as a bridesmaid for my girlfriends wedding a couple years ago how great they are but its always nerve wracking when its your day... I couldn't imagine getting through this day with anyone else. They even made my moms make up (who is not a fan of airbrush or heavy makeup) perfect and she was so excited. Having them with your morning getting ready is the best way to start your perfect day; t's like hanging out with more of your girlfriends!

Words can not even begin to express the unbelievable experience I had from the moment I booked them for my trial , to the moment all of my bridesmaids were inside the perfectly adorned salon watching magic take place. My videographer and photographer were welcomed with open arms in order to take the perfect pictures and videos. I am so happy I used Luscious & Co for my wedding! I was a little late to booking my trial, but they were incredibly accommodating to set something up for me. I loved that my group was able to have our own room while getting ready - their upstairs bridal/wedding suites are perfect! Everyone stayed on schedule and allowed time for whatever touch-ups were needed before we left. Everyone's make-up and hair stayed perfect during the hot and humid ceremony and one of the biggest compliments I received on my make-up was how natural it looked!

Honestly, when looking for makeup and hair, I had only one person in mind. Unfortunately they were unavailable for my wedding day and looking back, I couldn’t be more thrilled because I came across Lucious & Co and my experience was UNBELIEVABLE. I went into my consultation not knowing exactly what I wanted aside from a loose bun for my hair. They asked me questions about makeup and hair that I’ve never even thought about and being completely consultative. Flash forward to about 2/3 months before my wedding and my now husband had to have emergency heart procedure forcing us to postpone our wedding to the following year. Lucious & co was more than accommodating to this and sent so many well wishes and prayers showing they TRULY care about their clients. Flash forward further to our wedding day: absolutely magical and unreal. They remembered everything from my consultation from the hair and makeup to mine and my husbands story. They listen to everything you could possibly need. Also, they are great at conversing with their clients making you feel like you’re fri ends. I’ve recommended them to at least 3 other people who are getting married and I will continue to recommend them to everyone! They are amazing and I highly recommend them for proms, bridal, fancy night out, hair cuts, hair color. EVERYTHING

I am SO glad luscious & co happened to have an opening for their bridal suite when I called for my wedding weekend. I really wanted to have a space for me and my party to get ready in, that wasn't a cramped hotel and their salon is absolutely gorgeous. Every stylist we worked with was so wonderful and I was thrilled with my wedding look, as were all the girls in my wedding party- which made me so happy because many had not gotten their hair or makeup professionally done before. Working with luscious & co was such a positive experience on my wedding day and I would choose them again in a heartbeat! thank you!

Luscious and Co did a fantastic job for my wedding! Our makeup and hair came out beautiful! My hair lasted the whole night, even after my Juliet cap veil was removed. My bridesmaids and I had such a fun time hanging out in the new salon, which is amazing!! The ladies did an awesome job handling the schedule and making sure we were done by the time I needed!

This review is for Asian brides and only for a makeup trial. I did not end up going with this vendor for my wedding day. I originally hired them last year for my wedding day having signed contract and paid the deposit. I wanted to get all my vendors booked early and done and over with. When I initially spoke to them, they said they were skilled in doing makeup for all ethnicity. I held off doing my trial until closer to my wedding date, due to the recommendation that I might need a second trial if I did a trial too early. As someone who wears minimal makeup on a daily basis, I thought any pro makeup artist would be better than myself. What can go wrong with a place that has so many wonderful reviews and awards, so I went ahead and booked. I did my trial last week, ended up letting them go, and doing a mad dash to find someone who specializes in Asian bridal looks for my wedding 7 weeks away. Beautiful studio, nice friendly ladies. I initially wanted to continue working with them, since they were so nice, did try to make me happy, and the amount of care they took. But in the end, it came down to how I looked and the level of trust in their ability to create my Asian bridal look. I couldn't continue if I were honest with myself and if I wanted a stress free wedding day not having to worry about how I and my wedding party would look. For me, it came down to differences in Western vs Asian beauty standards. I showed them at least 5 pictures of the standard East Asian bride look (Chinese, Korean, Japanese) think pale blushing bride but with natural glam eye, but somehow everything was lost in translation and they did what they would normally do for a Western look. The only thing I liked was my eyes after some adjustments. What I really Disliked was the rest of the face and complexion, which was more yellow and darker than my normal skin tone. Asian makeup focuses on brightness and uses shades that are a lighter than actual skin tone and uses blush to give a more youthful glowing look. The look is more subtle and makes the person look youthful. The western look focuses on dramatic dark eye brows, looking tan, and contouring the face with bronzers and darker colors, which makes one look more mature. I was quite shocked by my look. I looked like I was in my late 50s or older, when I'm only in my early 30s and look much younger than that. They also had me faced away from the mirror, so I couldn't see how I looked until the big reveal, which my reaction was sheer shock and I didn't even know where to begin. After some adjustments, I still didn't love my look. I did go to work afterwards and multiple people who are Asian told me I looked better without having any makeup on. Let's just say mom, fiance, my bridal party and Asian friends all hated my look and said I was better off doing my own makeup. Luscious was more than willing to work with me and have me come in for a second trial. I initially wanted to give them a second chance. But who am I kidding? I was looking for someone who not only does Asian makeup, but is an expert at it. I'm not a makeup expert. If I show pictures of the looks I like, I expect them to be able to do majority of the work, without me having to dissect out the components of the look for them. I Don't want to Worry about myself or the other 4 Asian ladies and have to Supervise/Micromanage anyone's work on my wedding day. Otherwise, I liked the studio and the ladies who work there. Just wasn't what I was looking for.

Luscious and co was the most amazing salon I have ever been to. They did my bridal hair and make up along with my bridal parties hair and make up and did an incredible job! The staff members are all amazingly sweet, energetic, caring and just all amazing people! Any thing you need they will make happen. I would love to get my hair and make up done with this salon for every special occasion ! Words don't describe how awesome this salon is and i am beyond grateful for everything they did for me on my wedding day. You were all amazing !!!! When my mom last minute wanted to get her hair and makeup done with me (bride) and my bridesmaids in the bridal room, Liz made that happen. Deika and Jerica made me feel absolutely stunning for my wedding day on April 13, 2018. I had 12 girls including myself with hair and/or make up appointments. All of the stylists went above and beyond to make us feel and look fabulous. The bridal suite was spacious and we had plenty of room for food and mimosas, along with some great music to get us ready for such an important day. I would definitely recommend Luscious and Co. to any bride-to-be and her bridal party. Our day moved along very smoothly even though we needed so many appointments. It was timed perfectly. I was also thankful that the salon was flexible with our start time. I had a wonderful experience and if I had to do it over, I would choose Luscious and Co. again!

I could not recommend Luscious and Co. enough to future brides! From the minute I walked into the salon, I felt like the most important person there. Every staff member spoke to me and congratulated me. I never felt like just another customer. For both hair and makeup, I felt like the staff just understood the look I was going for and what would look best on me...without me even having to say very much!! They treated myself and bridal party so kindly. They were extremely proficient, but never rushed. My hair and makeup lasted from 12 pm until 1 am! I received compliments all day and night! I cannot thank Luscious and Co. enough for making me look and feel beautiful. Choosing Luscious and Co. for your wedding glam is the easiest and best decision you can make!!

Luscious and the girls are truly magical, its the best way to describe the experience I had for my wedding day this past october. From my wedding trials to the day itself, I could not be more pleased. I have been to Jerica for cut and style before, and she is truly amazing. The bridal team...no words!! 5 stars!

I couldn’t imagine not using Luscious & Co for my big day. They were absolutely amazing, from my trial to my Wedding day. My stylist Jerica is a true artist, who has a gift for Bridal Hair Design. Her work is flawless & truly a work of art. I couldn’t have been more Blessed, to have had her create a style that was perfect. It stayed beautifully the entire evening & next day for our brunch. She also did my Mom’s hair & it came out gorgeous!!!! Liz & Deica were our make up artists, and I would say a dream team. They did such an amazing job! Without Luscious & CO, I don’t think my day would have been as perfect. Hair really is everything, and make up is just the icing on the cake. Thank you for making my day a magical one 💗

I can't say enough amazing things about Liz and her team! They truly made myself and my bridal party and moms look amazing on my wedding day. They even took special care to make my two small flower girls feel like princesses! My girls were all raving about the natural look of the make up and how each team member did exactly what was asked with their hair! We've all been in a lot of weddings and this by far is the best service anyone of my 8 girls and myself has ever recieved. I honestly cant stop looking at the pictures and reliving the day and how gorgeous my girls were! This salon is by far the best I have ever been to and now I'm using them for all of my families needs!

I couldn't have been happier with me and my girls' hair and makeup! I have never tried airbrush makeup and now I'll never go back! Hair was also amazing; I was so happy that all of the stylists worked with my girls to create the most gorgeous updos! Will definitely plan on coming back for more events, and referring friends! My sister, my mother, and bridal party had their hair and make up done onsite at the Luscious salon in downtown Shelton. The salon staff were very friendly, very accommodating to last minute requests, and above all professional and know their stuff. My entire family was very pleased with the overall results, which, made my sisters special day a memorable one! My fiance can not stop talking about our wedding day and will be making the appointment to go see the girls at luscious and Co.
