Magnolia Hill Farm

We had our wedding here 7.23.22 and would absolutely recommend MHF to friends/family looking for a venue in the area. For price point, this is right in line with surrounding venues in the Columbus area, as we shopped around prior to booking with them. The beauty of the property is what really is unmatched. My wedding was more on the whimsical romantic side and the venue turned out just like that, even though it is “barn” style you can transform it to whatever style is desired. We were also lucky enough to have Ashley and Coty as our photographer for the day, and they were wonderful to work with. Would highly recommend them for photography day of as well. I have no complaints at all with the venue or the staff. Everything was wonderful and exactly what I had hoped for in our wedding day!

MHF was our dream venue! As soon as we saw it, we knew we had to get married there. Ashley and her team were amazing from start to finish. The venue was clean and organized and the staff was amazing on our day, making sure everything was perfect!

We got married at Magnolia Hill Farm on 4/30/22 and it was amazing. The venue is GORGEOUS. I had so many people commenting on how beautiful the space was and we didn't really have to do much as far as decoration because the space is so clean-looking and timeless. I am not much of a country girl, but loved the soft barn setting. It can easily be made more rustic for brides, but it can also be an extremely timeless setting as well- you can truly decorate however you want to get the vibe you're going for! Coty and Ashley (owners) were both there on the day of. Ashley was with me for the first portion and took SUCH good care of me. After the ceremony, she brought me a drink and a plate of food and encouraged me to take little moments just for myself which I appreciated so much. She also checked in on me a few times and made sure I was happy with my vendors and offered to talk to anyone that wasn't doing the quality of service I wanted which was also super helpful because you don't want to deal with that on your wedding day. I would truly give MHF a 4.5 star if I could! My only downfalls were how pricy it was (even for an off-season wedding) and I was slightly disappointed with the sparkler exit. The sparklers weren't ridiculously expensive, but they were kinda pricey for just being regular sized sparklers. I would've liked having the larger ones to be able to take multiple takes for our sparkler exit, but we were only able to go down one time because they were smaller and didn't last very long. Overall, I had a great experience with MHF. Ashley was super helpful with advice throughout the wedding planning process and was able to give me little pieces of advice from the weddings she's seen which calmed a lot of my nerves. During our walk through with her, she sat down and talked through everything with us and there were a few loose ends that arose (that I didn't even realize I hadn't taken care of!) and Ashley was really encouraging about what she could do and just giving practical advice for getting things resolved. The venue is just gorgeous and I hope I can go back for another wedding someday!

Magnolia Hill Farm is an absolutely beautiful venue. We got married there September 24th, 2021 and couldn't have asked for a more perfect, smooth day. The bridal suite is massive and provides plenty of space for a large group of bridesmaids, mothers, and prep team to get ready for the big day. The grooms suite was very small and a little disappointing for my husband and his guys, but since it's on the first floor they utilized the outdoor space to play cornhole, play music, hang out and just got dressed in the suite. MHF is in the process of adding a separate building for the guys though, so more space for them is to come! Upon touring, we also noticed the magnolia room is a little echo-y and were nervous it might be an issue, but day-of we didnt notice it at all once the room was filled with linen, people, etc. We didn't notice an issue with dj/music/acoustics at all. The all-white aesthetic of the venue honestly makes decorating very easy, you barely need anything! We went with a very simple, basic, white and greenery theme--decorating with just candles and greenery. Although the all-white makes it very easy to get dirty/scuffed up. There were several areas (walls, stairs, etc.) that could used some touching up, but not overly noticeable. Coty was our day-of manager on site and he was awesome. He made sure everything was the way we wanted and ran smoothly, correcting anything we pointed out. The venue is definitely out there with no major hotels/after-party options nearby. That was a major concern of ours, wanting the party to go on afterwards. We also were only able to have the venue till 10pm (Friday wedding) which was a bit of a bummer, we felt it was too early. We wouldve liked to have the venue (been able to dance and party) till at least 11pm. HIGHLY recommend making hotel blocks at EASTON and booking post-wedding transportation to take you and guests there after. We stayed at Aloft hotel and the brand new Pins is right across the street. Was a little bit of a drive, but was a great way to continue the night. The fact that nothing is included (other than tables/chairs) was definitely a little bit of a downside/struggle, especially for the price of the venue. Adds more to the to-do list for the already VERY BUSY bride. They make some great recommendations though, and this allows you to go cheaper routes if desired. Like BYOB. That was REALLY nice, definitely a $$$ saver. Overall, it was a gorgeous and beautiful venue that gave us the wedding of our dreams. We wouldn't have had it any way or anywhere else.
