I can only sing the highest praises for Magnolia Manor. Me and my husband got married two days after hurricane Helene came through. Everyone at Magnolia worked so hard to make sure we could still have our special day. They did absolutely everything they could to make sure things went as smoothly as possible. Even with the hurricane they were able to make everything look so beautiful. These were some of the most hard working, kind hearted people I have met. I cannot recommend them enough for weddings. All of my guest were very impressed and appreciated the beauty in the midst of the chaos.
Absolutely phenomenal. Our wedding was out of town (7+ hours for me and my husband) for everyone involved and had a smaller budget. Mary Tannery and Kendra were on top of communication, flexible with changing plans, and extremely supportive during this exciting but also stressful time. Not once did I doubt our decision to go with Magnolia Manor and wish we went with a local venue, that's how amazing they were.
Day-of, the staff were phenomenal. Emily Hudson with The Native Iris both did our flowers and was our day-of coordinator. Not only were the flowers gorgeous and budget-friendly, but she was the perfect support and guidance that entire day. She made sure there were only a few issues that were brought to me, and the rest were handled by the staff without causing me needless stress. Both she and Kenny Fey, our photographer, were the perfect mix of 'in charge'/telling us what to do to keep with the schedule and super encouraging and excited for us. We also brought several of our own decorations which the staff set up for us, and they looked gorgeous.
The staff was so on top of things that not once did I feel like anything was out of control or going wrong (even with a freak town-wide power outage that morning and afternoon rain during the reception). I'm so incredibly thankful to all the people at Magnolia Manor who helped make our special day the gorgeous and memorable event that it was. You couldn't ask for a better group of people to work with!
Let me start by saying that Magnolia Manor is a beautiful, well-maintained venue and B&B. Ultimately, we had a great wedding and look back fondly. We rented the B&B for the weekend, our ceremony was in the garden and the reception was in the pavilion. It was all beautiful! However, the staff was subpar. The owner and coordinator was great leading up to the wedding but was totally absent for most of the weekend. My non-bridesmaid friend ended up being the one to check that everything was done and to fix whatever wasn't correct. She did a lot of work on wedding day that should have been the owner's responsibility. I felt like she was more concerned about her vendors than she was about me and my husband. The ceremony director that was included in the venue package didn't listen to me and made the rehearsal a very stressful, frustrating experience. She was kind of pointless. The DJ (also included in the package) gave off weird vibes and made some guests uncomfortable. If I had known how much we were being charged for him, I would've just made a playlist myself. We opted out of the included photographer and used our own. The chef (also the co-owner) was the nicest, most flexible person there, he was great.
we can not Express how much my dream wedding had came true. everyone at magnolina manor did above and beyond to make my day go to perfection. I would always recommend them to anyone and everyone who would ask me were I got married.
My husband and I absolutely loved Magnolia manor! The staff all around were fantastic to work with. Their vendors were professional and responsive to our needs. JoAnn who coordinates the venue is the absolute best. I was not stressed or nervous throughout the process at all. She made everything so smooth and eased all concerns with planning. We also were able to have our families and bridal party stay onsite for the weekend and they absolutely loved it! I highly recommend the venue and the vendors that they work with!
My husband and I got married October 28 at Magnolia Manor. Every aspect of the wedding day and wedding weekend was PERFECT! The owners and the staff at Magnolia Manor are experienced, organized, kind and accommodating. All of the vendors that are included are wonderful and welcoming. The food was OUTSTANDING and the photographer was very experienced and didn't let the bad weather affect our photos at all. Although it rained on our wedding day, Magnolia Manor is set up for a drop dead gorgeous wedding under their lighted pavilion, it was more pretty than I ever imagined.
The rooms at the Bed and Breakfast are convenient for immediate family to stay in, and made the entire wedding weekend one bit family reunion. The Inn is beautiful, warm and welcoming.
The owners and the staff made every single guest at the wedding feel important and at home, and especially of course, the bride and groom. I felt pampered and all of my wishes were honored. I just can't say enough, this venue made our wedding more unforgettable than my husband and I ever could have imagined!
My wedding was perfect, thanks in part to the staff at Magnolia Manor. They attended to my every need and concern. I enjoyed the fact that the package at the Manor was all-inclusive. I didn't have to worry about all the details, as they took great care of that. I couldn't of imagined a more perfect wedding location with a friendlier, more helpful staff.
An amazing place to get married. I highly recommend this venue.
It was absolutely wonderful to have my wedding here and to work with JoAnn. It was so wonderful that JoAnn took care of all the details and I didn't have to stress over it.
I got married at Magnolia Manor a few weeks ago. It was a wonderful wedding and I am glad I was married there. The only thing I would say is the the wedding coordinator there always seemed overly busy and would forget things a lot. I would have to remind her several times to do something. However, she was very willing to work with me on the price of everything and overall we got a decent deal on everything. Like I said, I am definitely glad I was married there - and i would recommend it to anyone.
The place was very beautiful
I picked Magnolia Manor, first, because they were one of the few outdoor venues, in the area, that was wheelchair accessible, as well as having a decent Plan B location if it rained. It was also a big help that the Manor offers such an expensive wedding package that included just about everything, since I was planning from out of state. It was so nice not to have to worry about the big stuff because it was already taken care of (I still got my say so on how it was taken care of) , and the price was very reasonable! Working with JoAnn was a major plus, too. She is so accommidating, and really cares about making a girl's dreams come true! I would come to her, frantic, worrying about something, and she would always respond in a calm voice and tell me not to worry, she had it all under control. Sure enough, I could not have imagined a more beautiful wedding. She and her crew, did an excellent job! My wedding guests are still talking about how fun and beautiful my wedding was. As well as the food. It was amazing! I loved it, and I had so many compliments from my guests, on the food, as well. The other venders she uses are amazing as well. We loved the DJ, the cake was beautiful, and we absolutely loved the photographer, Kenny. I was a little worried about what kind of wedding I would get with my budget, but JoAnn worked with us to go above and beyond my dream wedding. We had 75 guest and paid around $12,000-$15,000 for the entire wedding. This includes the rental of several rooms in the manor, tux renatls, my dress, rehearsal dinner on site, flowers, officient, violinist, an extra cake we added ourselves, and my own crafty additions to the decor. You can have a beautiful wedding at the Manor for a lower price, easily! I would recommend them to anyone!
