Makeup + Style is a talented team of wedding beauty artists and hairstylists based out of San Diego, CA, formerly known as Bloom Glam Squad. Owner Andrea Elise Velez is a native of the city who delights in creating unique and stunning looks based on her clients' personalities and styles. Finding her passion via an unconventional route, Andrea discovered her love for the beauty industry while studying to be a therapist. While volunteering at a hospice, she found joy in helping the patients there apply makeup or creating gorgeous looks for them. As her confidence as an artist grew, Andrea decided to apply for a job at MAC Cosmetics, and she has been professionally part of the industry ever since. Today, she continues to provide hair and makeup services to communities in need of a little more love by volunteering for the Look Good Feel Good program. To ensure that their clients dazzle as they walk down the aisle, Makeup + Style offers nearlyweds a variety of styles and services. For as seamless an experience on the big day as possible, Andrea and her team are happy to provide on-site application services.
