We paid our deposit to jeno and had good communication with him right up to April 2020,he’s completely ignored any emails and phone calls from us,we are supposed to be travelling over from Ireland (hopefully) with 50+ guest in December 21 and now with zero communication from them we have no clue what to do next,disgusting they are robbing people of their hard earn cash during a time like this

We lost our $7000 deposit for our daughter's wedding! He is lost in the wind. No response to my requests!

BREACH OF CONTRACT/STOLEN $5K DEPOSIT!!! As several other reviewers posted, Sam Milliken (owner) is evading all forms of communication. After repeated calls and emails, he remains non-responsive. He breached conditions in the contract and has stolen our deposits in excess of $17k. DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES!!

AVOID THIS VENUE AT ALL COSTS!! SAM MILLIKEN (the owner) STOLE $9,900 FROM US WITHOUT DELIVERING ANY SERVICES AND GHOSTED US! My fiancée and I planned to have our wedding at Manhattan Penthouse pre-Covid pandemic. Like many other couples, we were unfortunately forced to postpone our wedding plans. The postponement was accompanied by a plethora of false promises and reassurances from this venue that if we need to cancel the event due to the ongoing pandemic, our deposits would be refunded. Following this, our attempts to ask about our upcoming wedding were ignored. Months have now passed and after making multiple attempts to get in touch with this venue, we now understand that Sam Milliken of Manhattan Penthouse had no real plans to host our wedding in 5/2021. He literally stole $9,900 from us on false pretenses and is now no where to be found.

We really believe this is the best wedding venue in NYC. No question, it’s the best value for the location. We booked the venue almost a full 2 years in advance, and the whole planning process with them couldn’t have been smoother. About two months before we attended a tasting where we got to try samples of some of the appetizers and entrees (we fell in love with the pumpkin ravioli, highly recommend!). It was great to have an evening in the space, try the food/wine, and see the amazing 360 views at sunset. The entire staff here is amazing. Monika made sure the planning went smoothly, and took care of menu planning for our gluten free/vegan guests. The wait staff and bartenders during the event were attentive and kind. We got many compliments from our guests both on how good the food was and how excellent the service was. Thank you for everything!

Manhattan Penthouse is the absolute definition of hidden gem wedding venue in the middle of Manhattan. I am so so lucky that my now husband and I stumbled upon this amazing venue for our wedding. The food was amazing, our guests raved about the cocktail hour and the views were absolute perfection. I cannot say enough nice things about Monika. She was super accommodating in every single way and was always quick to respond to my questions. She truly made our experience seamless and made all of our additional request for the reception (like substituting in different alcohols) happen. Monika allowed us to drop off items a few days before our reception, which made the days leading up to the event much less stressful for us and allowed us to come back through out the day after our wedding to pick up anything that was leftover. We loved our experience at the Penthouse. Thank you again, Monika! You were the best!!!

A friend's husband recently passed away and she asked me to be her event planner for his Celebration of Life. She found Manhattan Penthouse online. I scheduled us for a tour and we did it together. From the minute we walked the space and took in the gorgeous views, we were in love. Monika Nemeth made the decision even easier with answers to our every question along with extra kindness, especially given the circumstances. There wasn't much to think about before signing the contract. Monika was a dream with to coordinate with and she kept my friend at ease through out the planning process. The entire team was amazing as well. I can't say enough good things about Tommy and Wendell. I was with them throughout set up and they were completely on it, unflustered, flawless and even helpful as I moved around them. George had the bar humming. Kevin was spectacular with check ins, plate carrying, book distribution and all the other jobs we threw at him. I don't know the chef's name, but I can tell you that my only regret of the night was having only one piece of the sliced beef - the food was just delish! And all the servers kept things moving, wine flowing, plates clearing, etc etc. In the end, we concurred - and I believe this says it all - we'd do another event at Manhattan Penthouse in a heartbeat!

Finding an affordable option in the city for an all in one venue was a challenge until we fell in love with the Manhattan Penthouse. The price was right and the in-house catering was a big plus for us. The food was delicious and there is a variety to choose from. The views of uptown and downtown Manhattan are unforgettable and the bar area is classic old New York. Monika was a pro to work with, made everything very easy and accommodated all of our requests. Highly recommend!

Having our wedding at Manhattan Penthouse and working with Monika Nemeth was the best decision we made. If you’re looking for kindness, professionalism, and responsiveness at a beautiful venue with awesome views, look no further. Seriously- I am the type of person that likes to plan ahead and had about 50 little random questions per day and Monika would respond at the speed of light, and also never made me feel like I was a bother at all. She also genuinely cared about our event and worked with us through every decision. The guests were raving about the views and the food, as were my husband and I! Manhattan Penthouse was the PERFECT venue for our wedding in August 2019. I am so glad we chose it and everything was handled flawlessly. Monika was a pure joy to work with from beginning to end. She is incredibly professional and responsive through the planning process, and went above and beyond to execute extra details for us the week and day of the event. Our guests loved the location and the incredible daytime, sunset, and evening views of Manhattan! We were thrilled to have the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner/dancing reception in one place and absolutely overjoyed with the elegant execution, impeccable service, and delicious food. I don’t know where to begin. 1- the space is amazing. 2- Monika is a DREAM to work with. She is so organized, sooooo responsive and just an absolute pleasure. The staff was so kind and the food was delicious. We had a lot of guests from out of town and the views really made it something special for them.

Manhattan Penthouse is absolutely amazing. All of our guests raved about the view and the food. The venue is very spacious, we had about 80 guests but there was room for a lot more. They customized our wedding exactly as we wanted and had no issue with anything we asked for! We worked very closely with Monika from the beginning until the very end. She was an absolute delight. She answered all of our questions very promptly and was very easy to work with. She worked hard to make sure our day went smoothly by coordinating everything up to the wedding and also being our day of coordinator throughout the wedding. She was extremely helpful and really made our day special. We thank her and the crew at Manhattan Penthouse for everything they do. Monika made sure we had 0 worries day of. We promise that you will love this venue! The view is amazing and the food was delicious. The bridal suite was very convenient and Monika really did make the process smooth and we want to give a special shout out to her. Manhattan Penthouse was an absolutely amazing venue for our wedding. The food was great and received rave reviews from our guests. We absolutely love the layout of the space. The grand windows with the city views provided a magnificent backdrop to our ceremony and reception and was a hit with guests taking many photos. Monika and Jeno were both fantastic to work with and really cared about our event making sure it went off without a hitch. We had a few special requests and they catered to them without hesitation. You really can’t go wrong with Manhattan Penthouse for your event, highly recommended.

We held our ceremony and reception at Manhattan Penthouse on August 25 and the whole evening was really magical, all thanks to Jeno, Monika, and their team. The beautiful city views and delicious food really wowed our guests, both locals and out-of-towners alike. We didn’t have too many bells and whistles for our wedding, but the planning process was made incredibly easy due to Jeno, who was extremely responsive to all of my (many many) questions, which I truly appreciated since I was planning from afar. If you’re looking for a classic space with stunning views and a seamless experience, I would highly recommend Manhattan Penthouse for your wedding or event!

I just got married at the Manhattan Penthouse and I could not be happier with how the evening went.!!! I found this venue online - I was going for something smaller (100 guests), warm, classic and romantic. The moment that we walked into MPH our jaws were on the floor because THE VIEWS ARE INCREDIBLE. If you want a chic Manhattan wedding venue, this is it. We worked with Monika and she was fantastic. We mostly communicated via email because she is so prompt with responding. She was attentive to my vision and paid attention to all of the details (ie, timeline, communicating with outside vendors, guests with food allergies). She made the process pleasant and stress free, truly a pleasure to work with. The FOOD IS spectacular!!! Our guests just raved to us and could not believe how incredible it was. The Raw/Oyster bar during cocktail hour was very popular with our guests. We also opted for the Tuscany Table (cured meat/cheese/olives etc) and french (savory) crepe station, in addition to lots of passed hors d'oeuvres. There is a huge selection of dinner options - we selected the spinach ricotta ravioli as a first course, and then salmon steak or filet mignon for a main course. All of it was so delicious. My very Italian family gave it all two very huge thumbs up. We were minimalist with the flowers because we knew guests would be taken with the VIEWS and they were! Also, Monika provided votive candles all around the venue which was a nice touch. The venue already provides tables, linens, place settings, chairs, PLANTS all around the ballroom with uplighting, and very cool LED lights framing the halfmoon windows around the entire venue - it's already decorated so well, you really don't have to do much more. This place is truly a one stop shop. We opted for long rectangular tables which we had our florist decorate with green/floral garlands and more candles - low key and elegant. Finally, Monika's staff the night of the wedding was extremely prompt and efficient. Everything flowed so well. They were kind and attentive to all of our guests, we could not have asked for a better team. I still can't believe we were able to have a wedding at MPH. We did not have a huge budget to work with, and by some miracle, this place fit the bill. I feel like this is New York's best kept secret. If you want a smaller wedding with a venue that your guests will NEVER forget, call Monika. I cannot thank them enough for a dream come true wedding!!!!!

Huge thank you to Manhattan Penthouse! We had a lot of fun and our guets too. Everything was great, the guests loved the food and kept on saying that everything was very well organized! Monika was our coordinator, she was very easy to talk to and always available. Very easy to reach, she responded to our emails within minutes which made everything sooo easy. The venue is gorgeous, especially at night;,the food was great and the staff was lovely. Can't say enough how happy we are that we found this place!

This has to be one of the best deals in NYC. The venue is beautiful and everything is included including tons of beautiful votive candles. We could of spent a lot less on flowers because the space was so beautiful. Additionally the service is amazing. There were so many staff member available that no one was waiting for a drink and food was served very quickly, for a wedding of 160. Also, we had a lot of rave reviews of the food. Typically wedding food is not that great the food was delicious. The views set the perfect scene and there is a great bridal suite for waiting.

Jeno and his staff did a great job on our wedding day to set up a magical space that was the ideal setting for our wedding. The space looked great and they all handled our day of stresses with composure. The food provided by the in-house caterer was also delicious and gave us plenty of options to choose from. Leading up to the big day, Jeno was great to coordinate with and was always super responsive to any of our questions. On top of all the compliments on the team, you can't beat the view at this venue! Views of midtown and downtown surround the space and both our out of town and local guests definitely enjoyed the background to the evening.

My husband and I got married at Manhattan Penthouse in August 2017. We were struggling to find the perfect 'New York Wedding' venue (and ideally one with in-house catering). As soon as we found MP we booked the space for their next available opening (3 months out). We worked with Jeno through the entire process. He was incredible! Jeno provided great advice, accommodating our specific requests, and was fun to collaborate with. We ended up doing our ceremony at a park nearby and used both rooms for a roaming dinner reception (no assigned tables). It worked out perfectly and we were really able to benefit from the incredible space. The staff at the reception were great and the food was delicious.

My husband and I just had our wedding here a week ago. Monday night 🙂 November 27th. From the beginning, about a year ago when I was looking for a venue the company was recommended to me by a friend and financially they were the first in NYC to really talk with you about your budget and WORK WITH us in a kind and pleasant way! That sold us- not to mention the stunning view! Monika and the team were willing to work with me, the bride, being at a distance the first couple months- letting me see the venue through FaceTime. They let us do more than the one tasting due to my husband being allergic to some of their menu choices. They were BEYOND accommodating! I was able to visit multiple times to double check on things. There were never ever too many questions- Monika was always amazing, pleasant quick with replies to answering emails! The food was pretty great, cocktails awesome and my guests are still talking about the view. OH and the staff day of was AMAZING. So so sweet. You can really trust this venue to know how to throw your wedding but also let you make your personal touches! We recommend this venue FOR SURE.

I am generally fairly reserved when it comes to praise, but I absolutely cannot say enough good things about Jeno and the staff at the Manhattan Penthouse. I found this venue while looking through the NYMag wedding website, and it sounded too good to be true - beautiful views, in the heart of Manhattan, delicious food, exceptional staff, AND reasonably priced?? Well, before I go into the specifics - yes. It is true. All of it. First, the location: I am from New York City, as is my (now) husband, and 95% of our friends are family are local to the area. To have a venue in the middle of Union Square, essentially a subway ride away for most of our guests, made travel a breeze (and if you have out of towners, there are plenty of places to stay either nearby or at a very short travel distance). The space itself it absolutely stunning. The views of the city are pretty indescribable, you really have to see them in person - the photos on their website do not do them justice. We had both our ceremony and the reception at the Penthouse, so we got to enjoy the views during daylight, at sunset, and after dark. The food: simply delicious. On par with many fancy NYC restaurants, both in taste and presentation. The tasting menu is put together with love, and it shows. The dishes are unique and plentiful. The staff: I'm in my mid30s, and by now most of my friends (and I with them), have gone through the wedding planning process. There've been weddings in fancy reception halls, weddings in barns, weddings at destinations on beaches and on mountaintops... and let me tell you I have encountered NO other team who has been as wonderful, kind, accommodating, and FUN as Jeno and his staff. They are professional, knowledgeable, easy to work with, and full of ideas. They function as a well oiled machine, and the experience working with them made me fully confident they can make happen a wedding where you want to be in control of every detail, a wedding where you want to be as hands off as you can, and anything and everything in between. We wanted to see the space in both daylight and at night before we committed, and not only was Jeno great about working with mine and my husband's insane schedules, when we showed up for the 3rd time to see it, this time with our moms, they actually fed us all of us dinner because there was a cancellation from a couple who was supposed to have been doing a tasting that night. That encounter was only a small part of our overall experience, but I am not exaggerating when I say that every question, comment, anxiety, crazy demand, and last minute revision we had was answered immediately, addressed with a smile, and resolved in the most efficient way. I think Jeno must sleep with his cellphone next to his ear, because he answered all our emails (many!), within an hour, even if he was traveling abroad. We got married nearly 3 months ago, and our guests are all still raving about the views, the space, the food, the atmosphere, and "best wedding ever" gets mentioned a lot. It was important to us to celebrate our vows in a place that corresponded to our values, and I cannot emphasize enough how above and beyond our even most optimistic hopes this place and the people in it went. Jeno, we cannot thank you enough for helping us start our life together as husband and wife on such a memorable note.

The Manhattan Penthouse completely exceeded our expectations in every way. It's hard to find a venue in the middle of Manhattan that is remotely affordable and fits a large crowd, let alone one that includes a full bar and decent food. But the MP offered all this and more, and everything was delicious and looked beautiful. (And we're picky, trust me.) Monika, one of the managers, answered all our questions and emails promptly (and we had a lot), and she was very helpful on the day of the wedding. We didn't need to hire a day-of coordinator because the staff was so thorough and conscientious. It really was the best day ever, due in large part to the MP's great work.

After what seemed like decades of worrying and angsting over our venue, and being one step from getting married in anyone's backyard, we heard about Manhattan Penthouse from a co-worker. We visited and were immediately charmed by both the space and Jeno. The views at the Penthouse are truly spectacular, and Jeno is a consummate professional (especially when dealing with hard-to-please family). We can't recommend him and the Penthouse enough, and are so grateful that we hadn't the good fortune of finding this amazing venue.

When my husband and I decided to tour Manhattan Penthouse for our wedding, we instantly loved it. After having already looked at other Manhattan venues, we both knew this was the place for our big, special day. We had our ceremony and reception there, including a cocktail hour, a sit-down catered dinner and an open bar. This all-in-one package made planning our wedding so much easier and less stressful which is exactly what we wanted. The City views are beautiful, the venue is warm and elegant, and the food is delicious! For Manhattan, very reasonable pricing. Worth every penny! The feedback from our 100 guests, comprised of out-of-towners and native New Yorkers, was five stars. Everyone truly had a blast. They loved the venue, the food, the service and complimented the organized flow of the evening. Many Facebook pictures went up of the views through the beautiful, arched windows. Also, if you're a fan of the Goodfellas movie like my husband and I, you'll appreciate the hidden passageway that takes you from the bridal suite through the kitchen and out to the ballroom. Monika Nemeth, our day-to-day contact, needs a special mention. We could not have asked for a nicer, more professional, responsive, and organized person than Monika. She was helpful every step of the way and responded quickly to our email questions. We really appreciated having her to help us throughout the planning process. The rest of the staff was great and helpful as well. Good vibes all around. We loved every part of our wedding and are so happy that we booked this place! Overall a beautiful, fun and memorable evening. Highly recommend.

Where to begin? Everything from the food, to the views, to the service was perfect. This is an incredible New York venue with stunning views of the city. Monika our coordinator was with us every step of the way while we planned our wedding there. It was honestly everything we could've dreamed of, I can recommend it enough!

Me and my Husband firt encountered the Manhattan Penthouse in 2010 for our senior prom! And it was absolutely beautiful! Fastfoward to 2016 and we’re engaged looking for a place to get married. We said let’s check out where we had prom to see if it’s still as beautiful as it was then,now. It was beautiful and then some. Our wedding day was a morning wedding and even with the cloudy day it was still bright and beautiful inside. The staff was so attentive to our needs, the food was amazing! Everyone couldn’t stop talking about it and everything was well organized and on schedule. I would recommend anyone to have an event or a wedding here because they will make it something you will never forget

We were looking for a great venue within our budget and came across Manhattan Penthouse, as soon as we went for our first tour, we fell in love with the space. The views of the city are incredible, windows from all sides give you amazing views of the skyline. In addition, working with Monika was amazing. She was always super helpful and responsive about any questions I asked her. My husband is a chef so we had a tasting before we even officially booked the venue and then had another tasting, in which they accommodated a special request for him. The chef was very open to any suggestions my husband had, and the food was great on our wedding day. Everything else was great too, Monika helped set up and decorate the day of the wedding and coordinated everything. They also have a bridal room which was perfect so my bridesmaids and I could all get ready right at the venue and not have to worry about traveling from hair and makeup. We had a pretty small wedding with less than 50 guests, they set up the space perfectly for our small wedding but they also accommodate much larger parties. I highly recommend Manhattan Penthouse and Monika!

Whatever I write here will not capture the ultimate experience we had choosing this as our wedding venue. Hands down one of the most unique yet affordable venues in NYC. We fell in love with the views and the fact that it's gorgeous even in it's bare bones. We spent so much time visiting venues both in and out of state, and I couldn't tell you how many poor decor decisions are out there, and how inflexible some venues really are. Not the case at the Manhattan Penthouse, they are incredibly efficient, flexible and professional. The food is delicious, the staff is unlike any other and the experience was just a dream come true. We worked with Jeno who is by far the most impressive contact that we have ever worked with. We were married on Oct 1, 2016 and we still have friends and family talking about our special day. Everyone was so impressed by the night that it made every penny worthwhile. We would highly recommend choosing this venue for your rental needs, as it was made for hosting a very perfect night.

Our wedding at the penthouse was absolutely perfect. A dream come true. We worked with Jeno who is hands down the best in the business. We had our 100-guest wedding here and could not have been happier. I was not a very hands-on bride, so I loved how "all inclusive" this venue was (food, open bar, day-of coordinator, beautiful views, etc.). The staff here is extremely professional and friendly and do their jobs very well. We worked with Jeno who was very responsive and efficient leading up to the event, as well as the day of. I cannot think of a single drawback. If you're looking to host an NYC wedding on a smaller budget, then this is the venue for you. Thank you so much to the entire Manhattan Penthouse team!

There are so many things that we could say about having our wedding at Manhattan Penthouse, but we’ll keep it short and just say that we could not have been more grateful for this venue and to its staff. We had a wonderful experience, from beginning to end, and Jeno (although he might seem somewhat short at times) was terrific to work with - efficient, responsive, and incredibly helpful. We loved working with him. The food was very good and the venue was stunning. Very affordable as well given relative prices in New York. We chose this venue in part because we wanted to get married near our homes, but it ended out being the right choice for countless reasons. Thanks so much to Jeno and his entire team!

I'm still in shock that I was able to afford to get married in the heart of NYC - This venue was amazing. The views are stunning and it was the perfect size for my 110 person wedding. I was skeptical at first because all of the other venues I looked at in Manhattan were more expensive and only offered me a view of New Jersey. I loved the idea of having a wedding in a loft space so I could design it and create the wedding of my dreams. Monika was amazing to work with - She was accommodating and responded quickly through email with all of my questions. The staff was professional and the food was AMAZING. With so many things to worry about while wedding planning, it was nice to know I didn't have to worry about my venue once.

Great Venue and fabulous atmosphere

We celebrated our wedding reception at the Manhattan Penthouse on Saturday, June 27, 2015 and would just like to thank everyone involved, especially Monika, for providing us with an absolutely perfect night! From the moment we finally arrived through the cocktail hour, dinner and the last second of the last dance everything about the evening went smoothly and was had led with the greatest of care. We have hear nothing except how much everyone loved the venue and its spectacular views and how much fun each of our 145 guests had during the whole event! Thank you so much for making our special day totally magical and perfect!! Can't wait to have another celebration at the Penthouse!!!

This space is simply gorgeous and the views of the city are to die for. When I first found out that in order to book this space you must use their catering I was hesitant. It turns out the owner has been in the catering business for 30 years. Every single dish was AMAZING & DELICIOUS! Jeno was our maitre d. He was outstanding. He promptly answered every single tedious question I had & every crazy bride email I sent him. On the day of, he treated us like royalty and helped guide us through the whole night. He did everything from greeting our guests, telling us when to walk down the aisle and when to dance and when to sit. He was a rock star. I highly recommend this venue based on the space itself and all of the staff. As for price, the venue is reasonable and for catering you're looking at bw $150-$250 a plate then there is a 22% service charge and we got a surprise $400 request at the last minute for the maitre d. So its kinda pricey but worth it!

My wife and I celebrated our wedding at Manhattan Penthouse on August 1st. The venue itself is a beautiful room which needs very little decorating. The huge windows they have overlooking the city make this place a memorable visit for anyone attending any event. The room adjacent to the main dining room provided a full service bar as well as a piano that any event can make use of. The person setting up our wedding, Monika Nemeth was exceptional in her ability to keep our event running very smoothly. My wife and I felt very comfortable with Monika throughout the whole process. We felt like she was extremely accommodating and had an answer for every question we had. Monika helped make our wedding the best day it could be. We would highly recommend Monika and Manhattan Penthouse for any special events, especially weddings.

I had both heard and read nothing but stellar reviews of the MHP since I first started searching for a wedding venue over a year ago. I wanted a space that included catering and an open bar, a great view of NYC and could accommodate up to 200 guests. At first, I thought this was impossible to find in Manhattan at an affordable price, but the MPH is THE space if you want the most for your money. Their caterers have been in business for 50 years and were willing to work with us to create the blend of Latin American and Mediterranean dishes we wanted. Furthermore, one of the managers we worked with, Jeno, answered all of my emails immediately, and was reliable, flexible and made us feel special even though he deals with 100's of clients at a time. You will not regret celebrating an event here- your wedding or any of life's other major milestones.

Manhattan Penthouse was the first and only venue we visited. We wanted a cozy, intimate atmosphere but still have amazing views of the city. Manhattan Penthouse was PERFECT. The 360 degree views are absolutely phenomenal. The food was spectacular! I have heard nothing but rave reviews from everyone that was at the reception. Monika was excellent as responding to emails and answering all questions during the planning process. Angel - I think he was head waiter - was the only other person I met that night of the wedding (the whole night was very busy!) but he was wonderful! It was so great knowing that the food was coming from Manhattan Penthouse - one less thing to do. Their menu is very extensive and a little overwhelming but everything on it is delicious. You know how people say you don't eat at your own wedding? After the tasting we had, I made sure to eat the food! It was too good to pass up! They don't provide a cake but they do have a lot of other really great desserts. It was a perfect evening and we could not have picked a better location. Highly recommended!

Excellent venue! Not your typical catering ballroom. More sophisticated and stylish. Stunning views of the city, especially great for nighttime weddings. Food was delicious and cooked fresh that night. A savvy kitchen - the majority of items, including the sauces, are made gluten-free. We got so many compliments from our guests on the food and the venue's beauty. Best of all was our coordinator, Jeno. He is very experienced and good at his job. He is also very accessible, quick to respond to questions - and not just the week of your wedding but even 4 months before the big day, he treats you as if you are his only client. I cannot recommend this place enough.

We had a fantastic reception at the Manhattan Penthouse which, in our case, was only a couple (walking) blocks from where we celebrated the wedding at Grace Church. MP's bar room was the perfect size for our 115 guest and the 5-piece jazz band we hired from Juilliard (also flawless). The main room was more than spacious and attractively configured for the tables and dance floor. One of the key features of MP is their gorgeous, huge arched windows. Apart from floral arrangements on the tables, we had to add nothing in the way of decorations. The beauty is in the architecture of the rooms and the views - especially at night which is when it counts. The other key selling point of the place is Monika Nemeth, who we worked with. She is awesome (calm, professional, accommodating, interested, hard working). We did not like the wine selection they offered, so we brought in our own bottles. We got a satisfactory credit, and the matter was a non-issue. The proof of it all was that we had a fun wedding, didn't need to sweat the reception, and our guests loved the experience. I am sure you would too.

I don't know why anyone would choose any other venue in NYC for their wedding. We looked at a whole bunch of venues and the choice was very easy. And the venue absolutely surpassed our expectations. First off, this venue has the most gorgeous views of NYC. Whether your guests are NYC natives, or visiting from out of town, the view is sure to WOW. The only view you don't get is due west, but that's actually perfect because you don't get the sunset in your eyes like at other venues (like at Water's Edge in Brooklyn. I've been to weddings there and I couldn't even see the ceremony because the sun was too bright). The food was excellent. We got so many compliments about the appetizers (passed and stationary), and also about the main courses. And the service was also great. Everyone was so professional. At our table we had our own personal server who was there for our every need! It was awesome having a venue that did its own catering so we didn't have to worry about food or rentals or logistics. I only wish we had thought to ask for appetizers to be brought to us in the bride's room because we didn't get to taste any of them. But I'm sure if we had asked they would have brought some to us. But - none of that even matters compared to the perfect and astonishing Jeno Steiner. He was the person who originally showed us the space; he worked with us through the contract signing process; he was very reasonable about questions we had on the per person charge and allowed a flexible contract depending on how many RSVPs we received; he was the absolute most responsive vendor I have ever worked with for anything - he would write back to emails almost faster than I could even hit send. One night we emailed him in the evening. He wrote back in less than 5 minutes "On a date - will get back to you in the morning." I mean - wow! Even on a date he made sure to write us back just to let us know he'd write us back soon. Needless to say we highly recommend this venue.

Our wedding at MP was amazing! We couldn't have been happier. The place, the food, the drinks, the service, the planning. Monika was extraordinary in all ways. Everyone that came loved loved loved it. We couldn't have been happier. SO glad we chose Manhattan Penthouse.

We chose this venue because of the view from the Penthouse and the fact that they could accommodate a smaller wedding celebration. This is a well-run venue. The catering executive always responded to my questions right away. Everyone raved about how delicious the food was. Depending on your perspective, it may be a bit pricey, but I looked at a lot of Manhattan venues and anything with a view was much more expensive. I highly recommend this venue.

We had a wonderful time at Manhattan Penthouse thanks to the Director of Catering, Monika. She made the whole experience unforgettable. She is a great person to work with. I love her vast knowledge about catering and her willingness to share her keen insight for having the best occasion ever. The music, the food and the service was abolutely amazing. She leads a perfect staff that are eager to help the guests enjoy the feast. We had the best time of our lives.

I just had a fantastic wedding at Manhattan Penthouse! Jeno was my contact there--he was so flexible to account for the details I wanted and was extremely helpful on the day of, so I didn't need to hire a wedding planner. The food and service was great--even my mom, who complains about everything, was pleased! It's a relatively good value for a NYC wedding, with its own catering, tables, dishes, etc.

Everyone told us our wedding was the "best wedding EVER!" Manhattan Penthouse was elegant without being snobby. We and our guests had amazing food, wine, and unbelievable views of the Manhattan skyline. You receive an all-inclusive package of event space, caterers, bar tenders, servers, and wedding day coordinator. You won't be disappointed :)

The staff was so competent at every point along the way, the food was remarkably delicious, the space was beautiful and fit our 185 guests very comfortably. So many of our guests raved about the flow of the two rooms (cocktail + main dining/dancing room) and the beautiful views of the skyline.

Manhattan Penthouse is where we had our wedding. From the moment I met with our contact, Monika, till the day of our wedding, she was there for every little question or concern I had. She was very easy to contact by email, and she responded within minutes. On the day of the wedding, everything went so smoothly and I didn't have to worry about a thing. Monika was very organized and the walk down the aisle, as well as the rest of the night was perfect. I've been in other weddings, and have heard horror stories, but Manhattan Penthouse was a dream. The venue itself is beautiful, with wall to wall views of NYC. For someone who loves this city, Manhattan Penthouse is the perfect venue to highlight everything good about NYC. Green Mansions Catering is the in-house caterer for this venue, and the food was delicious. The price was reasonable too, by NYC standards, but our guests thought we paid a lot more than we did. I highly recommend this venue for a wedding, it's beautiful, classy, and you will save yourself a lot of stress!
