As a bride who wanted a very short engagement (less than 4 months) I knew finding a reception venue would be difficult. To my surprise, the Louisville Marriott East was available f...or our wedding day, and immediately the planning process was underway. Our event planner, Audrey Petty, was hands down the most wonderful person we could have ever gotten to work with. She not only helped us plan quickly, but she helped us plan perfectly-every detail, every request, every aspect- to truly make our reception outstanding. She is a woman on the ball, doesn't let anything slip by her, and is quick and efficient at making anything and everything a possibility. Ex: We had a number of requests in mind that had never been done by the Marriott before (including a "make your own caramel apple station") She made it happen, and it was an absolute hit!
Not only did she handle our planning process and reception with excellence, but she organized a block of rooms for many of our family members traveling from out of state- making their stay easy, enjoyable and even slightest discounted!
We truly couldn't be more pleased with our entire experience at the Marriott and would gladly recommend wedding receptions to our friends and anyone looking for the perfect location for their big day!
